Finally watched Matt Reeves’ Batman yesterday and OMFG

I fear Robert Pattinson is my favorite Batman. (Not necessarily Bruce Wayne but you get it)

I’m obsessed with the fact that it felt more like a detective/suspense movie and not your classic superhero movie. The fact that we just jumped into the story without reiterating the backstory again was AMAZE!

Anyways. Battinson X James Gunn’s Superman forever and always.

In celebration of DC’s 2022 film “The Batman,” Sideshow and Hot Toys created this stunning Batman and Bat-Signal Sixth Scale Collectible Set. Fortunately, I was able to recently acquire one for Christmas after they had long since sold out!

Meticulously crafted based on the appearance of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne in the movie, the screen-accurate Batman figure features a newly developed head sculpt with two styles of hair, separate rolling eyeballs, and interchangeable lower faces for the cowl. A specialized body also highlights Batman’s muscular form, and a beautifully tailored Batsuit with poseable cape creates a strikingly realistic look. All of this is rounded out by a range of gadgets and accessories including a sticky bomb gun, diecast batarangs (w/ a removable one from the chest), grappling hooks, Riddler envelope, handcuffs, a wingsuit for gliding scenes, and a specially designed LED light-up staircase/building décor figure stand and backdrop.

If that wasn’t enough, this set also comes with the iconic sign that alerts evildoers that a protector lurks in the shadows of Gotham City: the Bat-Signal! This masterful recreation displays a screen-accurate design with the traditional Bat symbol at the center, and is specially applied with distress effects. It also features a powerful LED light, allowing Batman’s calling card to be projected on the walls!

Just watched the penguin on hbo so I’m doing a late apology for spamming the Batman universe related posts. It’s such a good show that I decided to rewatch the batman and that’s such a great movie. Hands down my favorite Batman movie.

I need Battison to have a Robin.

I need him to carry around a little bundle of joy in his arms. I need him to risk his life saving him from the movie’s big bad. I need him to hold his tiny hands or cradle his tiny face. I need him to crack the smallest of smiles when Robin makes a pun.

I need him to walk into the penthouse, tired and angry and sad, and see his little Robin sprawled across the floor, giggling as his crayons draw him and Alfie and B—their little family.
