Getting old is interesting. I've always been a middle ground between sports (skateboarding, surfing, jiu-jitsu) and an avid student. Over time, it's clear that you can't keep trying the same tricks, just as you can't study the same way.

Today, as I'm writing an article about event-driven architectures, I realize that final exams in college were much easier, just like it's not as easy to jump the same stairs on a skateboard as I did when I was 18. In the image, you can see my favorite note-taking app, Obsidian, and my Neovim terminal. I'm diving deep into Java, and for that, I'm taking a Spring Boot bootcamp offered by Claro through the DIO Innovation One platform.

back to studying after a week down and a week of actualy holiday and recovery abroad

4-5 weeks before my midterms start and this is the list:

○ catch up on those two weeks of lectures

● work on paper around evidence based treatments focused on emotional regulation

○ a reflection assignment

● synthesise my notes and the slides into a pretty and complete text before the christmas holiday starts

○ gradually build a sustainable routine (waking up early, eating my meals, remembering my meds, taking breaks, leaving the house...)

● romanticise the fuck out of this academic period

18/100 days of productivity

Today was very productive day. Maybe, because of the little change staying at my dad's means. Also, they were out visiting cemetery almost all day, so I was alone.

finished the Menaechmi by Plautus

wrote one of my papers due after the break

outlined the other paper

started reading The Spanish Tragedy by Thomas Kyd for uni

cooked lunch

had a meeting for a campaign I'm handling the communication of
