was thinking about miss bitey mcscratchy n i think if i were to give her a marvelcu verse it would go like... erica, who's constantly looking up ways to make her epilepsy as manageable as possible + keep her episodes from happening too frequently, accidentally stumbles across an ad/post asking for volunteers for a drug trial for this new experimental medicine that's trying to cure exactly what's wrong w her (along w/ a bunch of other things that don't... really overlap so it Should be super suspicious for anyone who's not as desperate as erica). naturally, erica, itching to fix herself, signs up for these drug trials without telling anyone only to find out uh oh! she hasn't signed up for a drug trial at all (sadly, she did Not read the fine print of the contract she signed) and she's quite literally just signed herself up to become a human experiment wahoo <3 essentially the evil fake pharmacy are trying to engineer human weapons that can stand up against theavengers and any possible superpowered hero out there. erica gets the Wolf pill. or serum. maybe both. naturally, she flies into a rage the first time she transforms and slaughters everyone, leading to her escape :ppp. they did cure her of her epilepsy though.... so maybe the claws and the teeth and the hours of torture and experimentation were worth it... haha

I was too scared in the past to write fan fiction. I didn’t want to be cringy teenager. I should have done it then when it was more expected to be ‘cringy’! Now the stories that have been bounding around in my head won’t stop, and now it sounds like a comforting activity instead of one I’m afraid of. In particular the MarvelCU OC I made up as a self insert in my head has done a lot of narrative heavy lifting , it started out due to my crush on Tom Hiddleston and over the last…ahem, sorry…. DECADE the character has had to evolve with my and me deciding how close to the real movies my timeline wants to be lol

In my head I go back to reading Avengers tower/compound fanfic and how it felt like having friends when I was lonely. For fun I think I’m finally putting some stuff down on paper. I didn’t make my own stuff for fun out of fear and self-esteem issues and that’s not very neat.

Soooo you might see my MCU OC or other content. At least making art is free (basically but not actually always sometimes) so I can express the ideas that I wanted to express when I was 13. Love me some good cringe, and yes my OC ends up with Loki. Lol.

1. What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)

most readers usually find me through Regenerate, and it is a great example of my work because it's where I developed my style and the main character, Ace, remains the strongest one I've written. I know some readers are more interested in her than the wandering plot, lol. It's also a good example of my need to create moody atmospheres and explore complex characters. I'm rolled-up-sleeves, hands dirty when it comes to working on Regenerate.

HOWEVER, it's long. It's really long and it's not getting any shorter. The first 50k or so words were written when I was still a teen and, while that has its charms and has been revised a few times, it's not my favorite piece of work.

I would suggest Wrong Business or The Rift for bite-size portions of my favorite writing. I'm also proud of The Free One, a novella-length fic; and the very canon-oriented When the Dust Settles got a surprising amount of positive feedback.

Unless you want a long story to keep you busy for a few days, in which case try Regenerate!

Majority of my works on AO3 (and Wattpad, for those so inclined) are MarvelCU, but Regenerate is more about Ace existing in that universe rather than focusing on the canon characters and storyline.
