Cafae Latte / Harry Potter Crossover idea

I had an idea for the CaFae Latte and Harry Potter crossover. Basically, the Dursleys (who are in America for some reason I don’t know) end up at CaFae Latte. They pitch a fit and get cursed, Harry learns that magic exist early. Feedback is welcome.

Now for the lore discrepancies. Harry Potter and CaFae Latte obviously have very different lore. This next lore dump is heavily inspired by and incorporates ideas form Marshflower’s A Complaining Muggle series on Tik Tok.

The Statute of Secrecy has always been difficult to keep, which became even more difficult in the late 1860’s and early 1870’s. By the 1960’s and 70’s many countries are repealing the Statue of Secrecy during the Fae Rights moment (Cafae Latte lore). Skip to modern age and in most places the Statute of Secrecy is only enforced in a hand full of countries, like Britain. No one really knows why Britain still dose this to themselves. Because of this they have low numbers of werewolves, vampires, fairies, and other such magical creatures.

So, why is Britain like this? This is because their society is mostly run by (white) pure blood wizards, with a foundation in wizard supremacy.

Here’s an excerpts:

“Excuse me, are you the one who cast a curse on my Aunt and Uncle?” The little boy asked.

“Uh, no. You want the boss, give me a second,” Cyrus said, “Boss! There’s a kid looking for you! He says yo cursed his Aunt and Uncle!”

“Just a moment,” Bob finished her next order, and shy and Cyrus switched places, “Hello there. You said you are here because I’ve cursed your Aunt and Uncle?”

“Yes Ma’am, I have some questions,”

“What kind of questions?”

“If you cursed them, dose that mean magic is indeed real,”

“So, uhm. Everyone says you’re a fairy, but my Aunt and Uncle said fairies aren’t real,”

“I am a fairy. In fact I do believe those kinds of comments are what got them cursed,”

“So, can only fairies do magic?”

“No, humans can do magic, but faeries are typically far more powerful,”

“So, when my teacher’s hair turned blue. That was actually my fault?” He asked.

“Well, that is some particularity strong magic for your age, but it’s not entirely impossible. But you came here to ask if magic exist, and by your accent I’d say you’re British,” Bob said.

“I am ma’am,”

“Then I believe you are what we call in Ameirca, a sorcerer,”

“Sor-cer-er,” He says slowly.

“This means you have a particularly strong ability to do magic without training. Typically, it’s more common for it to run in the family, but it dose sometimes happen without that family connection,” Bob explained. She could see the gears turning in his head.

“Dose that mean, I’m never going to be normal,”

“Normal is completely meaningless. But I assume you’re talking about your magical outburst. They will peter out with time and training,”

“Training?”

“Yes. I believe the UK has a standardized school for sorcerers, they’ll probably reach out to you when you are 10 or 11, but this town has a lot of magical resources,”

“Really, there is?”

“Yes, I can give you a few names and your parents can take you,”

“Thank-you ma’am, but I don’t have any parents,”

“I’m sorry to hear that, I guess you are living with your aunt and uncle,”

“Yes ma’am,”

“Well then, for the next seven years may you have good luck and good health,” Bob blessed them before writing down a few names and addresses.

It has occurred to me that I never posted the redraw I did of my old Cove and Quarry refs even though it's been a while since I made them... So here they are because why not (I deleted the original posts apparently idk so no link to those for reference).

So besides the fact that my cats are slightly less ugly and more expressive, the biggest change is that I'm not calling them clans anymore. QC is still sort of connected to the Warriors universe by way of "what if the clans fell apart circa OOTS, the survivors left to create the Quarry Colony, and the 3 plus Hollyleaf ended up becoming the new afterlife." (that's the short version, anyway) Which I guess technically makes this a post-cat-society-apocalypse AU?

Anyway because I am bad at brevity, change log below cut as well as a family tree (I have a version with spoilers but I will not be posting that).

CHANGES:

Mostly a lot of design changes, clarifications on details, and for the tortie/calico characters they got a small reference of their other side because that was something the old sheets were severely lacking since none of them besides Robin are symmetrical. Basic rundown:

Marshflower is a dilute tortie. She looks more like an actual cat that could exist now instead of... well, this.

I decided to go with Robinswoop's second design I came up with. He is also a trans tom.

Honeyshine's name is now Honeysnap, as Cloudkit's warrior name was going to be Cloudshine and I didn't want too much overlap with suffixes.

Brackenkit is also a dilute tortie.

What was once a typo has now become lore for Hallow's name having been changed. That will be addressed as I have a story written for this. Hallowpaw is the lore-heavy character instead of Emberdusk now, really.

Emberdusk and Windsong are both colorpoints, and their parents are to match, though they're not the most realistic I guess. Emberdusk would ideally take more after his mom and be a seal sepia but I specifically wanted him to be dark ginger since he was originally bootleg Wish.com Fireheart.

Turtlestar, Finchpetal, and Applepaw got design changes.

Cricketleap is supposed to be a Havana Brown, having been a housecat, though I'm sure that doesn't come across very well here.

Pebblesplash and his daughter Silverpaw got some adjustments. They (or at least, Silverpaw) also have vitiligo. Cinderkit might as well, though that's not clear yet.

Willowpaw is nonbinary, which I'd always felt like they should be, but never updated any of my notes until I redid all the designs.

Cloudkit! I've been feeling like Cloudkit is the Cove's equivalent of Hallowpaw and I want to do something with them eventually. He's a chimera and goes by he/they.

New Fanfic idea. I am writing it, but I feel the need to share it. 

It’s a Harry Potter fic. I never finished Harry Potter, and I’m not planning on it. But I love what I’ve seen from the fans, and some of the analysis on tik tok is too good not to make into a fanfic. In particular Marshflower’s A Complaing Muggle playlist and Julian Wambel’s analysis. 

So, the basics of this fanfic is the Wizarding World is run by a fascist government who isolates their citizens from the ‘non-magical’ world to maintain power, with their main ideology of Wizard Supremacy. By some miracle Harry gets out. 

Sick of being the hero of the Wizarding World, Harry escapes to America and tries to live out as a muggle only to find that muggles do know about magic. Somehow Harry gets wrangled into teaching magic on Saturdays and runs an apothecary called the Little Vial. 

The actual fic starts when some government official thinks the Tri-Wizard-Tournament wasn’t all that bad, and did boost the economy before war officially broke out, so they should do it again. They go over to America to do it because they still weren’t talking to Drumstrangs (mostly because I know American history better, and how our particular politics interact with fascism) and they want Harry to promote the tournament. 

He doesn’t want to do it, but Ron uses his kids to guilt trip Harry into teaching some preparation classes. Harry gives in, and some kids from his Saturday classes show up, and then the fic is mostly shenanigans. 

Some of it is silly, like introducing them to Tumblr. Others are deeper conversations about history and magical development.

SO I dunno if anyone remembers my vague attempt at combining several of my interests and making a weird warrior cats fan game with otome game elements BUT I had been attempting to make this warriors otoge over the past few months and honestly………I lost all interest in it as an otome game and honestly in general and never finished anything past the roughest script in the world and I don’t think i’ll ever go back to it fhjdsknfdsa BUT the plot and characters were stupid and kinda fun so I’m gonna explain what it was gonna be!! if u feel like reading my rambles about a game I’ll never make accompanied with various 3 second doodles here’s it under the cut!!

so the main characters were three Shadowclan cats, the main character was an apprentice soon to be warrior named ____paw and later ____heart, players could input their own own prefix with no restrictions (sorta, we’ll come back to this later) because if you wanna play it straight and be named like Leafheart or something or if you wanted to goof and be called Heartheart or Fuckheart i think u should be allowed to fdskddfks 

the story was set somewhere between the last book of The New Prophecy and the first book of the Power of Three series and it follows MainCharacterpaw (a gray tabby cat with a heart marking on her butt like a my little pony)  and her best friend Marshpaw (a fluffy light brown cat, i think i made him sorta have a point pattern) when not long after their warrior ceremonies (now MCpaw and Marshflower) they find a fucked up looking amnesiac dark gray tom at the edge of the shadowclan named Smokepaw combined with some other weird stuff going on (there’s a cat cult, we’ll get to that) and they’ve all gotta figure out who’s this man and what’s goin ON

Marshflower’s sorta the moody tsundere? like not the loud b-b-baka type you see in harem anime and old otome games but the dark broody insults everyone because they’re too afraid to get close type you tend to see in more modern otome games lol, he tries to hide and downplay his feels but he feels a lot of them hsjds he loves his momma Tallpoppy (his suffix matches her...) and his siblings Toadfoot and Applefur, his siblings actually became warriors slightly before him so he’s got a hint of a inferiority complex, the reason he’s a little behind is ‘cause during the Great Journey when he was a kit he got snatched up by an eagle, they were able to save him but now he’s got these big scars on his back and it took a little bit to recover

and now if you’ve read the new prophecy more times than you care to admit like I did as a kid you might be figuring out where I’m going with this

anyway Marshflower ends up as MCheart’s childhood friend in a way, when they were kits and Marshflower (Marshkit) and the rest of shadowclan settled in around the lake they found a random lil kit all alone in the woods surrounded by the bones of an animal, looks like badger bones? and the clan took her in, she was almost a newborn and it was pretty surreal that she was alive at all and no other cats anywhere near to be found, almost like she was born from the marshes herself. MCkit growing up has yer pretty standard otome game MC personality, peppy and nice and cares a lot but is sorta blunt and impulsive, that kinda thing fsjkdsfrdes because of Marshkit’s delayed warrior status they ended up graduating at the same time so they’re very close besties

SMOKEPAW is strange he just showed up.....hes confused....youre confused... we’re all confused, he’s all beat up and looks like he fell down a million stairs if warrior cats knew what stairs were, but he’s surprising chipper? he’s a goofy loud genki type dude so even thought he doesn’t know where he is or who he is except his name he’s taking it about as okay as you can, his amnesia seems to go pretty far though ‘cause despite having a name like Smokepaw that implies being some clan’s apprentice he doesn’t seem to know what warriors are hfjfdeswsdns he’s very good at traversing shadowclan territory though, like he grew up in similar pine forest-y areas

WE’VE GOT THE MAIN PLAYERS NOW MCheart the player character, dateable boy #1 Marshflower and dateable boy #2 Smokepaw!!! now we can get onto the plot~

the game was gonna consist of 6 chapters (called books as a nod to the series lol) and each chapter wasn’t gonna be super long, it was just a fangame after all lol,  there would only be one choice (3 options each choice) each chapter which wouldn’t do much except add slightly different dialogue right after and also add to a tally for points with 2 categories: Marshflower and Smokepaw, there’s 3 “endings” but its really only one with variations lol one for if u are especially close with marshflower, one for smokepaw, and one for being equally close with both (two hands.....MCheart has two hands...paws? she has four paws...), because this game woulda been insane for a lot of reasons to make it slightly more accessible I toyed with the idea of giving them human designs you could switch too (although itd just be cosmetic) and also adding in a small optional recap for the warriors series up to the beginning of the power of three for those who aren’t familiar with the series~ i was working on something that would make it so after choosing a prefix, if it was certain prefixes maybe id add in a lil dialogue commenting on it like if you named urself fire or lion (together with heart) it’d be like “that seems familiar....” for fun but also sorta a plot thing because the game was gonna function differently if you wrote in specifically the prefix “Cinder” and I’ll get back to that but here’s an outline of how the story was gonna go:

Book 1 was gonna start with MCpaw and Marshpaw’s warrior ceremony, establishing the relationships between you and Marshpaw as well as his relationships with his family, some hints about Marshpaw taking a little longer than his siblings to become Marshflower but not going indepth about it, meeting some more shadowclan characters that will be relevant like Oakfur, as well as a bit of Blackstar and Littlecloud ‘cause leaders and medicine cats are always a little relevant, after the ceremony you and Marshflower would go on a hunting patrol and have some fun goofin around as you two go on ur first hunt together as warriors, maybe a lil heart-to-heart with marshflower talking a bit about his insecurities some more but he’s glad he’s at least able to be with u, until on the way MCheart smells an unfamilar cat and goes to investigate (despite Marshflower’s protests, he can be a little too careful sometimes) and she finds Smokepaw all fucked up and passed out on the edge of the woods, you go to wake him up without alerting the other warriors on the patrol (despite marshflower’s protests again) and thats how you meet smokepaw baby!!! he just wakes up and is like WHAT YEAR IS IT and you and Marshflower spend a while trying to figure out what to do, this dude doesnt smell like a clan cat despite his name, but he doesnt smell like a rogue or a loner or a kittypet, weirdly he doesnt smell right at all....i cant believe smokepaw smells funny... anyway while u guys are debating what to do about this strange confused man the rest of the patrol finds yall and things get Stressful, the others agree to take smokepaw to the leader but they’d got a close eye on him....who’s this man, Blackstar lets him stay temporarily but with a lot of restrictions (in shadowclan’s defense they just had both brokenstar and tigerstar and there was some scourge shenanigans....they got a lot going on) so Smokepaw is sorta stuck in the medicine cat den as everyone tries to figure out what to do with this confused amnesiac hfjesa

book 2 has MCheart waking Marshflower up in the middle of the night a few days after finding smokepaw so they can talk to him directly since they got interupted when they found him on the hunting patrol and Smokepaws been swamped by curious cats since so you haven’t really been able to catch him, Marshflower objects but he comes along anyway gfdsa you guys all start getting along and make a pact to try to cure his amnesia together, even marshflower who’s pretty cautious of smokepaw (although maybe he just wants to get rid of the guy faster lol) and marshflower goes back to bed. ur about to go to bed too but you talk with Smokepaw a little longer about warrior cat things since he doesn’t seem to understand them. You explain to him starclan while watching the stars and talk about the prophecies that come about. Smokepaw asks who makes up the prophecies and why they know this stuff. You can’t really answer. You go back to bed and it goes to the next day

you wake up and are put on a patrol with some other cats without Marshflower which is disappointing but u deal, ur asked to go find Oakfur since he’s on the patrol too but he’s late so you go looking and you find him staring at Smokepaw (who’s just sorta wandering around aimlessly and playing with some kits) and when you look closer Oakfur seems to be like...fuming? He looks like, pissed off but also like he’s gonna throw up? You ask him whats up and he’s just like “I don’t.. I don’t trust the new cat” and ur like “Smokepaw? Why not?” and he looks pained when you say Smokepaws name and is just like “Nevermind.......I would stay away from him if I were you” and just kinda shuffles off before you can ask anymore

on the patrol you notice a lot of weird rock formations, it seemed like they weren’t here in the territory before but ur a new warrior so maybe ur just inexperience and never noticed them before as an apprentice, so you dont ask (especiually since oakfur doesnt seem in a conversational mood lol)

book 3!!!! book 3 opens with it being a couple weeks later now, you and marshflower are getting used to warrior life, smokepaw is still here and seems no closer to his memories, oakfur still stares at him menacingly from afar, its all good, this chapter focuses more on Marshflower and his relationship with his family as well as his past, you talk a little with his mom Tallpoppy and she talks about how proud she is of Marshflower despite all his unique hardships, she wishes he would be more open and honest to her and his siblings though. briefly you also notice blackstar having an argument with oakfur and when you eavesdrop you hear talk about Smokepaw, blackstar doesnt seem to wanna talk about him and is like “its impossible, its just a coincidence, hes just a confused cat and thats it”but oakfur keeps talking about how “you see it to dont you” and “I dont know how or why but I don’t think we should be letting him off the hook like this” and ur like hm..................dont know what thats about. 

some time later on a patrol with marshflower you hear an eagle (which is weird ‘cause they’re usually not around shadowclan territory but thats yet another thing we’ll get back to lol) and Marshflower has a panic attack.,,,, cat panic attack.,,,, i gave this cat anxiety...,,, anyway he like freezes up and you gotta take him to the side so he can calm down, a little later the two of you talk about his back scars which u knew about but not really indepth because u weren’t there, he talks about his feelings for a while, specifically more into the inferiority complex and he talks about other cats who had died in similar circumstances (a story he heard about a thunderclan kit who got carried off by an eagle before he was born, as well as an apprentice who fell off a cliff during the great journey), a bit of a “why am i alive when they didn’t survive?” sorta thing, feels a little like he should have died back on the mountains instead of these others, obviously ur like bro no ur worthy and valueable and ilu and he seems to feel a little better at least, when the two of you decide to go back to camp he asks you to not tell his family about his panic attack ‘cause he doesnt want them to worry, you agree but you point out to him his family would listen and love him if he ever felt the urge to talk to them, that sorta thing

later when you get back the patrol you were on came back with yet another new mysterious gray cat who calls himself Smokepaw who demanded to meet with the leader gfdsfgdsadfsa lots of commotion.....

AND ITS BOOK 4 TIME!!! THINGS ARE GONNA GET STRANGE NOW This new “Smokepaw” doesn’t look much like the Smokepaw we know other than his pelt colour, his fur is longer and he looks a lot older, almost elder age. he comes in and starts like, preaching this long gospel about his “clan” which he calls “Smokepawclan” and he’s coming in tryna recruit all the gray cats to come over rhfdshdfdns he points you out specifically as a gray tabby as a not-perfect but wonderful new addition and how he would love to have you and ur like...........bro wtf, marshflower and our Smokepaw come to ur rescue since theyre ur pals and this weird old man is bugging you but then “Smokepaw” sees Smokepaw and loses his NUTS talking about how Smokepaw is PERFECT and like starts begging him to join Smokepawclan and its a little nuts gtfrswgfd

Blackstar comes out and meets with “Smokepaw” but he calls him a totally different name, apparently this old man is an old Shadowclan cat? He was a random unnotable (not in allegiences lol) cat called Slatefoot who disappeared during the great journey not long after a specific apprentice fell off a cliff and died, apparently this dude was one of the many cats who was disturbed by it and decided to make a cult about it hgkdsdfdeshfjds

all this stuff pisses off Oakfur even more ‘cause as you find out here along with our Smokepaw (or already knew from the books lol) that there is this new “Smokepaw, there is our amnesiac smokepaw, but there was also a third smokepaw, i’ll call him Smokepaw Prime lol, who was afformentioned apprentice who fell off the cliff as well as Oakfur’s apprentice specifically. you talk to him and learn that this dude took it pretty hard and thats why he’s so pissed about our Smokepaw, apparently he looks pretty similar to Smokepaw Prime and its A Lot. in true otome game MC fashion MCheart goes off at him like bro our Smokepaw is his own person its not his fault he shares the name and some visual similarities to a dead kid!!! he admits that he’s been too harsh on our Smokepaw, especially since this weirdo “smokepaw” came in with his smokepaw prime cult hdhbfndejs and apologizes to him, he just was too disturbed about the false hope of a living Smokepaw Prime that he took it out on our Smokepaw

later you go meet up with smokepaw a little at the edge of camp where you first promised to help him find his memories, he seems to hang out there a lot, and yall talk about “Smokepaw” and the new revelation of Smokepaw Prime and Oakfur, and he tries to see if he can remember anything about his past, him being Smokepaw Prime is outta the question because theres no way he woulda survived the fall, but Oakfur’s false hope really affected him yknow? He can’t remember anything though

You start to notice more rock formations within the territory now, you swore they weren’t there before, they’re large and cliff like around the edges of camp

the next day “Smokepaw” comes back with more of his cult members and they all talk about how perfect our Smokepaw would be to help them honour Smokepaw Prime, “Smokepaw” explains that Smokepawclan honours Smokepaw Prime by trying to create a clan purely of his likenesses (dark gray cats lol) by only letting in those who look enough like him, Marshflower gets fed up with them (he’s grown attached to our smokepaw too) and tells em off and they go to leave but “Smokepaw” mentions that the live at the bottom of the cliffs where Smokepaw Prime died and our Smokepaw says he doesn’t want to join the cult but he feels like he desperately needs to see where Smokepaw Prime died, so you and Marshflower join him (you because ur his friend and Marshflower because he wants to protect his gray cat friends from this weird gray cat cult lol)

OH and this is my favourite part hold up lemme try to illustrate what I’m tryna show, so like when they get to the cliffs THIS is what they see:

yeah so a whole hoard of Smokepaw Primes frozen in time in different stages of falling down the cliff like a fucked up zoetrope!!! i think its a really neat set piece!!!!! so thats where book 4 ends, at this mildly surreal image gdhsajds

book 5 book 5 book 5 here we GO so Smokepaw is absolute frozen in fear and confusion, and you notice while theres so many Smokepaw Primes up and down the cliff, theres none on the very bottom where he would’ve landed. “Smokepaw” tells you this is where they “ask Smokepaw for his blessing” and you find out that when a kit is born that looks enough like Smokepaw Prime they’ll sacrifice it in that spot and that’s why they want our Smokepaw and really as many gray cats as possible so bad, they’ve been overdue a sacrifice and they need to get more kittens hjfjdnsafds ITS UH.........A LITTLE FUCKED UP and if ur wondering hm cat genetics can be funky what if a kittens not gray and Well,,,.... here they also find out that the cult leaves the non-gray kittens out to die in the woods........its a lot

ANYWAY when you all try to leave “Smokepaw” threatens you ‘cause he doesn’t wanna let you go, and you, Marshflower, and our Smokepaw have to run away from the cult to get backup and theres a big ol classic warrior cats battle outside the shadowclan territory between the cult and several shadowclan cats who want to help, including Blackstar himself, Oakfur, and Marshflower’s family

shadowclan wins but its intense and Smokepaw himself is the one who kills “Smokepaw”, as a cool oneliner before he kills him Smokepaw’s like “bro I didn’t know the real Smokepaw,.. i dont even know whats going on with the smokepaws on the cliff.... but theres no way he would’ve wanted this” jrdfhdsgfrjds once the last member of the cult is killed, some eagles cry and come down near the bodies which is weird for a lot of reasons

after the battle Marshflower’s family fusses over him and its sweet, you talk to Tallpoppy and she talks a little about you MCheart and when they first found you in the swamps as a kit, she wonders if maybe the reason you were all alone in the wilderness is because of Smokepawclan but you point out that yer a gray cat and that cant be it

later you meet up with Blackstar and ask why he was so ready to defend Smokepaw even though hes an outsider and a sketchy one at that, Blackstar admits that like Oakfur, Smokepaw reminds him so vicerally of Smokepaw Prime and even though its impossible for him to be the same guy, he feels the need to help him as some sorta repentence for watching Smokepaw Prime fall down the cliffs all those years ago

time passes as everyone settles down after the battle, Smokepaw sneaks out to visit the cliffs often and watch the Smokepaw Primes frozen in time (the rest of the clan outside of you him and Marshflower dont know about em dont worry lol), smokepaw is having like an identity crisis about how similar they look to him, Marshflower’s freaking out about all these new eagle noises that are more and more frequent despite how they Should Not Be In This Area, and a gathering is coming up so ur excited about that, you’ve never actually gone to one just because of whatever circumstances and this will be ur first!!! on the full moon you, Marshflower, and Smokepaw (despite everything hes basically part of shadowclan now lol) all go and its a fun lil distraction from the weird shit thats going on but when you get there you sit next to some thunderclan cats

and you lock eyes with a specific thunderclan cat, a gray tabby she cat named cinderheart

and here as an aside: if you remember from earlier I mentioned that if you made ur prefix Cinder something special would happen and what I had planned is if you did that it would ask “r u sure” with some warnings yknow just in case and then the game would start in an entirely different scenario thats like a heavily shortened version of the main plot except fucked up and weird with lots of spooky imagery like that one part in Atashi No Riri and it’d be like, MCheart’s fever dream: The Game hfjdhs fcdsnjds i thought it be kinda fun and neat

anyway when you look into Cinderheart’s eyes the like, lights go out (which shouldnt be possible since this is outdoors lol) and it comes back with a car appearing next to Cinderheart and theres a few more blinks with rocks and cliffs and eagles and more car parts and badgers all appearing each time with some spooky tense music heightening until every goes black forreal this time and book 6 starts!!!!!!!!!!! hell yeah!!!!

book 6!!!! its the last chapter!!!!!!!!! you wake up in the shadowclan camp all confused and scared and you ask Marshflower and Smokepaw wtf happened last night and they say it was just a normal gathering so ur like hm.....a dream? it was a dream........

you smokepaw and marshflower are pretty close now and depending on what choices you chose you’d either be closer-implied-romantic with one or both, you all are hanging out at the edge of camp as usual and Marshflower talks about how he loves his family so much but he’s really starting to feel like he doesnt belong here, almost like the eagles are driving him out, smokepaw shares similar sentiments because he can’t stop thinking about the Smokepaw Prime cliff, and you end up agreeing as well, you now feel like you’re supposed to be somewhere else, or at least, you were supposed to be somewhere else

after some reminescing and goofin around you all go back into the main part of camp but on the way you find more and more car parts again and you get really nervous, and when you start seeing the other shadowclan cats they’re all frozen in similar sequential ways like Smokepaw Prime is on the cliffs

in the middle of camp you see this man, if you remember me drawing him before:

you ask him who he is

he says he’s starclan

not like a dead starclan cat but like the physical embodiment of starclan and the dark forest in human (cat? catboy.....) form, he is the one who gives out the prophecies to the dead cats, and he’s the one who controls life and death among the clans

he says he’s sorry

you ask him what for

he explains he fucked up real bad 

smokepaw is revealed to be the same smokepaw, aka Smokepaw Prime, that fell off the cliffs all those years ago, Starclan explains Smokepaw was originally never supposed to die, that was an accident and in the midst of him falling Starclan tried to fix it, but instead of fixing it he just sorta made a bunch of copies while trying to stop the fall and now the copies are endlessly falling in a void and phasing in and out of our plane of existence (creating the frozen in time look of the ones on the cliff), over the years one finally made it to the ground proper and thats the smokepaw we know, its been a long time phasing in and out of reality though so thats why his memory’s all messed up

it turns out marshflower was supposed to die all those years ago by the eagle and his survival was also an accident on Starclan’s part, Starclan struggled a lot in these years to keep track of things so he slipped up and Marshkit didnt die, he was gonna kill him later but he grew attached watching the dude, Starclan has some emotions it turns out, so he’s let him live but hes still unsure if he should keep him alive

FINALLY MCheart is one of the kittens that Sorreltail (Cinderheart’s mom) was pregnant with but then Cinderpelt died and apparently she was not supposed to die either, that was something on the Starclan cats, Starclan himself had to like, do a real quick soul swap to put have Cinderpelt be reincarnated as Sorreltail’s kit and he didn’t really know what to do with the original soul but he didnt wanna leave it so he just kinda put the soul aka you in the middle of shadowclan as a new kitten and hoped they would sort it out, he didnt anticipate what would happen when you meet the current Cinderheart though because it ‘cause a rift in reality with your soul seeing your original body, which shifted time around a bit and caused all these cliffs and eagles and cars and car parts and badgers that sorta pop in and out of reality to show up retroactively

starclan apologizes a lot and honestly he seems like hes just a normal dude whos overwhelmed and MCheart shows him some compassion and forgives him, and Smokepaw and Marshflower follow suit, their existences have caused so many problems in the reality here though so they all decide to leave their home in Shadowclan and join Starclan as sort of cats-between-reality, its a bit of a bittersweet ending with Marshflower saying goodbye to his frozen in time family, Smokepaw to Oakfur and Blackstar as well, and MCheart to the whole clan, and they grow human bodies like Starclan has and they walk off into the sky and the world glitches back to normal, they watch over their friends tho and help Starclan keep things in order better now, turns out what he needed was some help jfkdsj nvfds

everyones memories of the three are rewritten, Smokepaw is remembered as being fully dead and his copies are cleaned up, Marshkit is remembered surviving the eagle attack but dying of unrelated causes as a kit off screen, MCheart is wiped from everyones memories, Tallpoppy feels like she remembers a gray tabby kitten though, in her bones somewhere

and thats all folks~

YES this entire story was about me being 11 and hyperfixating on the inconsistencies in the allegiances sections of the warrior cats books, rip in peace Marshkit who vanished between books and long live Smokepaw who died but never left, this is just who i am 

lost interest because i wasnt feeling like putting so much effort into a fan project for a book series i havent read since dawn of the clans (and i havent read much of the super editions, novellas, or comics lol) but theres still things i like about the plot and especially some of the set pieces and imagery so I might rework some of that into something else someday who knows~ I definitely love Starclan’s design a lot and I’ve already used him for other drawings lol hes just a weird man....

1. Nickname

When I worked at a bar last year and we got slammed with orders, to cope with the rush and inspire my coworkers to knock it out of the park. I occasionally referred to myself in third person as “El Tigre”. Beause we were all fierce like tigers and would conquer this rush. As in:

“Hey, Olivia, can I have a pint of Weihenstephan and a middy of Carlton?”

“El Tigre will fulfil your request--but El Tigre is commanded by no man!”

This would go on for probably too long, and I would constantly change from El Tigre, to La Tigre, to Il Tigre, until I forgot that I was doing it because, well, we had fuckin’ drinks to pour.

...and typing this out, it’s no wonder my coworkers thought I was always high. I never went to work high or drunk. I may often have *left* work pretty drunk, but that’s a different story, and one I moved cities to get away from.

2. Gender?

Female but go off i guess, is probably the most accurate. Proud and loving vagina owner--but I’m not opposed to the idea of having a penis instead. Basically, as long as there were genitals down there I’d feel normal. I think. This is all hypothetical because, as we all know, genitals are not as easy to swap in and out as piercings.

I have this habit of describing myself as cis because I don’t have dysphoria but I’m not actually sure this is accurate. OMG HUMANS ARE ALL ON A SPECTRUM.

3. Star sign? Taurus sun / Taurus moon / Capricorn rising. Soooo really fuckin Taurus, and REALLY fuckin’ earth sign. I’m very earth element oriented in general. I was born in April, which is in Autumn, and I assign Autumn to earth as well. It’s the only season I really like, and it’s the sign I feel comfortable in, AND... well, I have literally hugged a tree three days out of the past five. But because of my ADHD I have never felt detail oriented, which is a super earth trait apparently. Maybe now I’m medicated that’ll change.

4. Height? 10cm taller than the average Australian woman, and smug about it. slightly threatened by women who are taller than I am.

5. Sexuality? If they are moving, human and consensual, I am down to pound. (In theory, at least. In practise I am monogamous.) For a shorter term, queer or bi.

If I can’t tell what gender you are I have probably fallen briefly in love with you.

I am attracted to personality traits in people that are generally termed “masculine” - protector, stability, but tempered with the “feminine” - nurturing and caring. Fuckin’ stupid way of categorising traits but there you go.

7. Favorite animal? Bears, I think.

8. Average hours spent sleeping? What I wish I spent sleeping: 10 hrs.

What I get: 6-7. Then I sleep in for like 14 hours at a time. It is not healthy.

10. Number of blankets you sleep with? two minimum. at all times, even in Australian summers.

11. What’s your dream trip? It changes. I want to go to the UK and Ireland and check out all the sacred sites. I’d love to go to Japan and check out its temples, nature and culture.

12. What’s your dream job? making money off my music and novels while travelling the world as people pay me to have interesting and humorous discussions with them.

Seriously though, probably just go to Esperance. Beautiful beaches, great waves for surfing, chilled out town, healing vibes. It’s my favourite place to go.

Honestly? Several times a week and I don’t like it. It’s mostly to cover my ass for inattention, so hopefully now that I’m getting treated for ADHD I won’t have to as much. I used to lie like a rug growing up because my parents were so strict and crazy Christian that there was no other way for me to have anything to myself.
