thank you for the 10,000+ followers! a game with no exchange will be released:)
now that i've written and understand planets in retrograde thoroughly they will be included in chart readings for free.
Tumblr media
THE SUN AND THE MOON CANNOT BE IN RX.
MERCURY IN RX
♇ having mercury in rx makes someone think more often, especially over the most pettiest things they think is big. they're very anxious people, and since it is in retrograde it could be implied that they're "wired differently" they think more out of the box, and even speak different, how they speak and write could be very distinct.
♇ mercury in retrograde could give someone inactive relatives, or cousins and siblings they're not close to. and since they're people who doubt themselves a lot, they could stall themselves from the path they're supposed to take, being their own obstacles. they could also be people who take some time to take in/process information.
♇ as i said they're people who hold themselves back a lot, this could link to their childhood, might've had people speak over them and silence them when they were younger.
VENUS IN RX
♇ people who have venus in retrograde might focus on love too much, and they could be people who have a struggling relationship with women. sisters, women who are their cousins and women who are their friends.
♇ they could also be very secretive people, they have a hard time opening up, which could make them be deemed as cold. they have a hard time giving and receiving affection.
♇ they could be bad at handling money, and might think everyone is out to get them. they could find it hard to love themselves, having venus in rx, is the peak of the "tortured poet".
MARS IN RX
♇ those who have mars in retrograde could have a hard time getting along with men, or even with the opposite sex. to have mars in rx could mean you could be considered as someone who i very intense. can a hard time expressing your sexuality and aiming for your goals.
♇ instead of learning life lessons quick, they are normally stubborn people and barely listen to advice given to them by trusted people. could be people who are too hesitant, say and do things at the wrong time and place.
♇ people with mars in retrograde might've gone through sexual trauma, could be scared to be intimate with other people. they're people who hate authority or people trying to have dominance over them. the type of people to not listen to the rules and break them.
JUPITER IN RX
♇ people who have jupiter in rx are the definition of "thinking out of the box", they're people who do have moments that question their faith and some of these people tend to have a God Complex.
♇ sometimes they feel like they're the unluckiest person in the world, might feel like they wont be able to travel the world like they want to. could also have long cycles of depression.
♇ having jupiter in retrograde can mean they're someone who marches to the beat of their own drum, they can be very detail-oriented people, which sometimes mean they feel like they can judge anyone and think of themselves to be flawless. jupiter in rx people are the type of people who want everything in their future to be perfect also, without life's trials and tribulations. can be unrealistic.
SATURN IN RX
♇ as it is told, saturn in retrograde brings a father that wasnt in the person's life, the person who has the saturn in rx can make someone feel like they're being punished by life all the time.
♇ this could also mean they might find it hard to express themselves emotionally, could be due to their childhood. they go through many trials and tribulations, makes them depressive, but in the end they become really wise.
♇ they doubt themselves a lot, could have trouble balancing themselves, and their masculinity, could be too domineering.
URANUS IN RX
♇ people with uranus in rx do not like change, they're likely insecure, [not all are going to be due to different commodities in a chart], but these are usually people who think they are not going to succeed in life.
♇ they sometimes feel like they're in control of nothing which pushes them into their need of controlling everything. they're quick-thinkers but still over-thinkers. they feel like they can never feel nice in a platonic or romantic connection.
♇ it leads them into being paranoid and chaotic. they might also put themselves in a box to make things easier, don't know they're limiting their potential when doing that, they're so much more and need to understand it.
NEPTUNE IN RX
♇ to have neptune in rx could make the kin be very delusional, might find it hard to separate idealistic views with reality. definitely reminds me of alice in wonderland. they're very spiritual people but can over-whelm people by adding their faith into everything.
♇ could be really good at manifesting; trust issues but sometimes are stubborn from learning their mistakes. can be deemed as very dreamy and compassionate.
♇ they could have this feeling of needing to save everyone. their trials and tribulations are a creative outlet for them, another indicator of being the tortured poet. [but the tiring and damaging things they go through are usually expressed through their art, which includes writing, story-telling, writing music, painting etc].
PLUTO IN RX
♇ i do get surprised when i come across these in a natal chart reading, but, pluto in rx folks definitely do hate constraint, they dislike authority and feeling like they're being controlled, which could push them into trying to control other people.
♇ could be escapists through drug and sex, they could also find it hard to accept their dark-self. easily infatuated people, people can get easily obsessed with them as they can get with other people.
♇ good money makers, could manipulate others with materialism, though, they might not be confrontational, could feel easily intimidated. sometimes could never see the potential in themselves can be their own obstacle.

Astro Observations
(and maybe even controversial opinions)
Tumblr media
Where 4h/cancer is placed can tell you about your home’s size/condition, especially childhood home.
Saturn= small/may feel constricting, Jupiter= large
poorly aspected/malefics/debilitated= ran down home/broken things.
Prey yonis (deer, rat, goat) feel safer in a group & in familiar places. Being by themselves or new places alone can cause anxiety. When out sometimes they feel that they are always in fight or flight or something’s around the corner.
Predator yonis (lion, tiger, snake) may not feel the same way. They may feel sure in themselves and how they can protect themselves. Tiger & snake yonis in particular might feel better off alone. Since both are solitary animals.
Tumblr media
Debilitated planets aren’t bad, it just makes the person work a little harder to reap the benefits in that area. Whereas, exaltation comes easy. Which can sometimes make one lazier in that particular area, because there’s no drive. (the same with easy aspects & hard aspects)
For example,
Exalted Pisces Venus (naturally effortless beautiful, “woke up like this” minimal makeup)
Debilitated Venus in Virgo (Cosmetic procedures, tailors, professional makeup, gym trainers, spa, personal stylist/hair stylist)
Venus in Virgo/Scorpio usually tend to be even more beautiful because they actively work to put effort & keep up maintenance.
Mars in Capricorn (wake up early no alarm, straight to the gym, knows exactly their task and when to do it, doesn’t have much trouble with procrastination).
Mars in Cancer/Taurus (might need schedules, alarms, set tasks, mentor/motivator).
Saturn in Libra (gets benefits from hard work right away, not much struggle young, no problem with discipline)
Saturn in Aries/Leo/cancer (rough start in life/a lot of set backs, takes longer to see benefits or gets it after Saturn return/30s, has to actively work on their discipline).
Debilitated Saturn after hard work in younger years, later in life, they usually achieve gains & become a household name.
Tumblr media
People tend to say Jupiter is luck. But to me it’s excess. In this world we associate excess=luck. (ie you have a lot of cars, money, children, etc) When it’s not always the case.
For example,
Jupiter in the 7h (Being in a lot of relationships or marriages. But the downside is it doesn’t last because Saturn represents commitment.
Marilyn Monroe multiple divorces
Drake dated a lot of women but no serious relationship.
Jupiter creates a surplus in whatever it touches. But it is not longevity, unless Saturn aspects Jupiter.
A planet that is a benefic can act as a malefic if debilitated & poorly aspected.
If Jupiter is debilitated & poorly aspected it can turn into a giant malefic. Because Jupiter expands what it touches. Rather it’s negativity or positivity.
Tumblr media
Some say Mars is where your drive and aggression is. But I see it more so where you get injuries, accidents, or aggression towards yourself or others.
For example,
I’m Aries Ascendant; My Mars/lagnesh is in Virgo/6h. My most serious injuries came from doing mundane tasks around the house. I faced workplace aggression from coworkers & sometimes customers too. Also, I tend to face health issues that affect my daily life. 6h/virgo rules daily activities, physical health, workplace, coworkers.
Mars just went retrograde December 6. I can already see it’s affect on my daily routines/6h. Nonstop nausea, bloating, stomach issues, & headaches everyday. Virgo rules stomach/nervous system. Aries my 1h/Asc rules the head
My whole schedule is out of wack. Today, I dropped my breakfast on the floor and burnt my lunch lol.
Mars, Mercury, Uranus, & Jupiter are all retrograde right now. If you are taking the necessary precautions and your planets are in good dignity, you should be fine. Though it’s still going to be quite frustrating for most people.
Transits mainly do the most damage if you have debilitated or poorly aspected planet that is going retrograde.
Malefics going retrograde to some degree affect almost everyone negatively, but not in the same way. What area varies from chart to chart; the sign/houses it sits in.
Outer planets affect us as a collective. Inner planets affect us personally.
Even though in traditional Vedic/jyotish Uranus, Neptune, Pluto isn’t considered. I still see the planet’s nakshatras/signs/houses in a chart influence a person’s life. Especially, if they aspect personal planets like Sun, Moon, Ascendant.

Here are some REAL astrological tips that I'm not just pulling out my ass and actually learned from reading
1. Aquarius is not ruled by uranus, aquarius is ruled by saturn. When astrologers discovered uranus they borrowed some of the traits of saturn and applied them to uranus because they didnt know what to do with this planet. Having strong uranus influence won't make you feel like an outsider but having a strong saturn influence will. Uranus does not rule "outcasts" or "obstruction" it rules sudden changes which we only associate with aquarius because of their eccentricity and the modern rulership of this sign, aquarius isn't as open to "change" as we would like to think they are, they're a saturn(restrictions) ruled fixed sign, they're more open minded and progressive than capricorn but they're more traditional and less accepting than we think pisces to be.
2. NO planet is unwelcome in the 5th and 11th house. Any personal planets in these houses including mars and saturn, especially the chart ruler is a sign of good fortune, wealth, successful investments and just an easy life in general because these houses are the joy of Venus and Jupiter, harmful planets here become neutralized and instead work to our benefit even with difficult aspects. Ex: Someone with a 5th house saturn might work high paying government jobs or become some kind of authority(saturn) figure sometime within their life.
3. What you've been taught about the north and south node is wrong. The north node is not "underdeveloped traits" The north node represents "increase" while the south node represents decrease, not your comfort zone and this is according to hellenistic and ancient astrology. The north node represents the dragon head while the south node represents its tail. Wherever your north node(the head) is, is where there's an infatuation and/or otherwise increase of energy and experiences, the south node (the tail) is something you abandoned (and shouldnt have) so you could focus on your north node, it's not necessarily something you need to let go of because that's like saying the dragon cut his tail off so he could keep his head lol, the dragon doesn't need to cut his tail at all, his tail is what's helping send him into the right direction because how do you expect him to move without his tail? In this case the south node is something you can rely on to assist you when handling the topics of your north node, that's the whole point. If south node was something that we needed to dismiss or free ourselves from it, there wouldn't be a south node, the south node and north node exist with each other, they HAVE to co-exist
4. I don't really debate about which house system to use when reading your own chart or others but when reading transits, synastry and composite charts, I strongly recommend using WS to make things alot less confusing.
5. The moon is a significator of money in alot of the same ways venus and jupiter are that's why the moon gets exalted in taurus. Moon in Taurus, Pisces, Sagittarius or Libra in the 3rd (house joy), 5th or 11th house is an indicator of wealth.
6. When outer planets transit your cadent houses please don't have a breakdown, planets in cadent houses have the weakest influence within a person's chart.
7. The houses responsible for fame are realistically the 5th, 7th house, 10th and 11th house and everything starts with the 5th house. Explanation: 5th house is the talent you have, the 11th house is your audience, you bring the talents you build upon in the 5th house for the world to see over into the 11th house, the 7th house is your relationship to law and the public, partnerships etc, if you wanna get contracts like a partnership with the NBA or picked to star in a movie, all of this would take place in the 7th house, the 10th house is the brand and image you cultivate after your name gets around from the 7th house, this house talks about your peak, how well did you do? Did you make it big? Planets here, where it's ruler is/and aspects will color all of this. Honorable mention is the 1st house cause the 1st house like the 10th house is angular and says alot about whether eyes are on you, do you get attention, are you an extrovert, are you confident or is building up those kind of things difficult for you, all of this gets answered in the 1st house.
8. Do not let any amateur astrologers gaslight you into thinking that having 8th or 12th house placements make you spiritual, spirituality gets its meaning from the 9th house and the 11th house where jupiter finds joy, planets in the 8th and 12th house is NOT for the weak and I don't mean to sound arrogant, I have 12th house placements and I'm aware that the 12th house doesn't get its meaning from pisces or jupiter, sprutuality is meant to be a good thing, planets in these houses is not a good thing so it is not wise to draw proximity there
9. Both Venus/ Jupiter and it's aspects is an indicator of marriage, the sign they're in, house placement and aspects will tell you more about your spouse (venus if you're attracted to women and jupiter if you're attracted to men)
10. Debilitated or fallen planets are liberated or in accidental dignity when in the angular houses or the 5th and 11th. Yes this counts for retrograde planets as well even tho i don't count retrogrades as a debilitaty. Think of them as having "redemption arcs" like negan from the walking dead, started out evil or In bad condition but it got better real fast or the challenges with that placement are easy to overcome. Ex: aquarius sun in the 1st house, aquarius is obviously debilitated under the sun because the sun and saturn are enemies and aquarius gets overwhelmed by the attention and self expression that comes with the sun but with the sun in the 1st house that luminary becomes apart of you, it's literally influencing your physical body and how you behave, with the sun here you have no trouble expressing yourself and actually like attention, so it's like having a leo rising but alot more intense

First of all, thank you for your kind words! <3 I am glad you find the series useful - it's genuinely my honor to share my astrological knowledge. The topic of retrograde planets is indeed fascinating and can be crucial in understanding your chart's deeper dynamics. Let's delve into it step by step.
Tumblr media
✽ Understanding Retrograde planets ✽
What is a Retrograde planet?
In astrology, the word retrograde describes a planet that appears to move backward in the sky from our perspective on Earth. Let me emphasize: the planet isn't actually moving backward - it's an optical illusion. This happens because Earth and the other planets are orbiting the Sun at different speeds.
Example: Imagine you are in a car driving past another car on the highway. For a moment, it can look like the other car is moving backward, even though it is still going forward. Retrograde motion is similar - it's just a shift in perspective.
Why is Retrograde important in astrology?
Astrologically, retrograde planets act differently than planets in their normal (direct) motion. Think of a planet in retrograde as if it is on a cosmic "pause" or "rewind" mode. Instead of moving full speed ahead, a planet's energy turns inward, slowing things down and encouraging reflection, revisiting, and rethinking areas of life it rules.
What does a Retrograde planet mean in your birth chart?
If a planet was retrograde at the time of your birth, its energy becomes more personal and internalized. You might experience the themes of that planet in a unique, non-traditional way, or they may require more effort to express outwardly. Retrograde planets in a birth chart often carry karmic lessons - indicating unfinished business or growth opportunities from past lives.
Tumblr media
Let's clear up some misconceptions about Retrogrades:
Retrograde isn't "bad" or unlucky: Many people fear retrogrades, thinking they bring chaos or misfortune. This is not true. Retrogrades are simply periods of reflection and adjustment. If you work with their energy, they can be incredibly transformative.
Retrograde doesn't cancel a planet's power: A Retrograde planet isn't weak or powerless. Instead, it works in a more internal or unconventional way. Often, retrograde planets can lead to deep self-discovery and mastery.
(Transit) Not all retrogrades affect you equally: Whether a retrograde will significantly impact your life depends on how it interacts with your personal birth chart. For instance, Mercury retrograde might not bother you unless it is touching important points in your chart.
--> Also, imagine you are planning a trip during Mercury Retrograde. People might warn you that everything will go wrong, but the truth is simpler: you may encounter delays or need to double-check details. If you take precautions - like confirming reservations or leaving extra time - you will likely have a smooth journey. Retrogrades ask us to pay attention and not rush!
Tumblr media
So, what does it mean when a planet is retrograde in a natal chart?
When a planet is retrograde in your natal chart, it represents a unique and deeply personal journey of growth, learning, and transformation. Its energy operates differently than that of a direct-moving planet. Instead of naturally flowing outward into the external world, the planet's influence turns inward, encouraging reflection, self-discovery, and refinement.
Think of a natal retrograde as a mentor who insists on deeper understanding and inner mastery. It is like being enrolled in an advanced course on the themes represented by that planet, often with karmic undertones.
The Essence of Natal Retrogrades:
Inward Energy: Retrograde planets in a natal chart encourage introspection. The energy of the planet doesn't express itself as straightforwardly as it would in a direct state. Instead, it becomes an internal process. This can make it seem "delayed" or "different" in outward expression.
Past-life Karma: Retrograde planets often signify unresolved lessens or unfinished business from past lives. The themes associated with the planet may feel familiar yet challenging, as if your soul has chosen to revisit these areas for growth and mastery.
Delayed development: Early in life, the energy of a retrograde planet may feel blocked or awkward. For instance, a retrograde Mercury might cause communication struggles, or a retrograde Saturn could bring insecurity about discipline and responsibility. However, as you mature and engage in self-reflection, the retrograde planet's gift often unfold in profound ways.
Non-traditional expressions: The way a retrograde planet expresses itself may not align with societal norms. This can make you feel "different" or out of sync with others in areas of life connected to the planet. For example, a retrograde Venus might mean unconventional ideas about love, beauty, or relationships.
Spiritual and personal growth: Retrograde planets are powerful tools for transformation. They encourage deeper understanding, pushing you to go beyond surface-level experiences. By working with their energy, you can unlock unique strengths and achieve lasting spiritual growth.

Mars Retrograde in the 10th house: Reflects on ambition and career direction. Assertiveness at work may develop slowly but with great strength.
Venus Retrograde in the 7th house: Brings karmic lessons around partnerships and love.
Sign: This reveals how you process the retrograde energy. For example:
Mercury Retrograde in Pisces: Imaginative and intuitive thinking, but potential difficulty with practical communication.
Saturn Retrograde in Virgo: Over-analyzing responsibilities, with a need to let go of perfectionism.
Tumblr media
✽ Examples of Natal Retrogrades ✽

Impact: Love and self-worth are tied to family dynamics and emotional security. Early struggles with self-love may stem from childhood experiences. Relationships may feel karmic, requiring healing and reflection.
Gifts: A deep capacity for nurturing and forming soulful connections once lessons are learned.
Example 2: Jupiter Retrograde in 9th House (Sagittarius)
Impact: Beliefs and spirituality are highly personal and may differ from traditional teachings. You might feel disconnected from formal education or organized religion.
Gifts: Profound inner wisdom and the ability to guide others in unconventional ways.

Enery Update: Mars Retrograde 2024-2025
Tumblr media
From December 6, 2024 to February 26, 2025, Mars will retrograde from 06° Leo to 17° Cancer. As this is a personal planet retrograde and it encapsulates most of our winter holiday season, it is a fairly long term aspect that we should all keep our eyes on.
The SetUp
Due to its position in our solar system (close to the Earth but past its position relative to the Sun), Mars is the planet that goes retrograde the least frequently, roughly every 26 months. Although we know that its backward motion is an illusion, astrology always views planets in their relationship to our home, the Earth. When a planet moves in retrograde motion, it retraces its steps through the horoscope wheel, repeating degrees that it has recently passed through. This creates an opportunity for a cosmic do-over as the world experiences these repeating degrees thrice: once when the planet enters its pre-retrograde shadow, a second time during the retrograde, and a third time after it stations direct once more in its post-retrograde shadow. This puts intense emphasis on these areas of life represented both by where it falls in the horoscope wheel and how it interacts with every person’s natal birth chart.
Mars is our planet of action. It is the planet that governs our drive and our energy levels. It rules the sign of Aries and the 1st house and co-rules the sign of Scorpio and the 8th house, along with the planet Pluto. We all have Mars placed somewhere in our charts. This placement shows what motivates us and how we go out and get what we want. Mars is also considered to be the Lesser Malefic in Traditional Astrology because it governs anger and strife. Mars needs a purpose – generally to move forward and accomplish a goal – or else it can easily become a bad actor.
When Mars moves in retrograde motion, it moves backward through the horoscope wheel. This is unfortunate as Mars prefers to gain and improve constantly. Retrograde planetary motion is all about looking back over the path that has been traveled and making the necessary changes to correct course. Some Mars placements (Virgo, for example) tend to be more comfortable with this than others. The big flex is to lean into the energy of this retrograde energy and work with it rather than against it.
As this Mars retrograde stretches from 06° Leo back to 17° Cancer, it crosses from a fixed sign back into a cardinal sign. Mixed sign retrogrades are more challenging to understand until you have a good grasp of astrology. What I want you to understand right now is that this retrograde will affect people with personal planets between 00-06° and people with personal planets between 17-29°.
This Mars retrograde will most strongly affect the following groups in the order written. Remembering, this is a compounding effect; the more categories you meet, the stronger the retrograde will be.
Those born with Mars from 00-06° Leo or 17-29° Cancer, and all Aries and Scorpio Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Mars
Those with Mars in Cancer or Leo that do not meet the above degrees
Anyone with a personal planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) from 00-06° Taurus or Scorpio (square) or Aquarius (opposition), or 17-29° Aries and Libra (square) or Aquarius (opposition)
Anyone with a person planet from 00-06° Aries or Sagittarius, or 17-29° Scorpio or Pisces (trine)
Anyone with a personal planet from 00-06° Gemini or Libra, or 17-29° Taurus or Virgo (sextile)
Anyone with Mars in the 1st House or Mars conjunct their Natal Sun
Keep in mind here that as a personal planet, Mars’ retrograde will impact everyone to a greater or lesser degree, and it will impact our daily lives as a collective as well. You can determine what area of life Mars will impact by looking at the retrograde and how it relates to your chart by sign, house, aspect, and degree.
The Nitty Gritty
I want to reiterate from the start that although traditional astrology says that retrogrades are Bad and Mars retrogrades, in particular, are bad, this is not a foregone conclusion. Retrogrades are a change in the energy output of the planet in motion, and it takes clever awareness to adapt and work with rather than against this energy. Mars retrogrades tend to be the most challenging for humans for one simple reason – humans are, on average, very adverse and reactive to change. Mars wants to charge forth and exert its will upon the world, whereas Mars’s retrograde moments tend to call for pauses and reflection before action.
It is to our advantage that this Mars retrograde coincides with Fallowtide and the retreating of the light. It is disadvantageous that it coincides with our greater holiday season with all of its rushing and potential family disputes.
There are some almost inevitable truths to a Mars retrograde cycle: anything that requires action (be it your job, physical exertions of all kinds, the court systems, etc.) will move much slower than average. There will inevitably be people who can’t handle this slow-down and will lean into emotional reactivity and violence. Along with Venus, Mars is one of our relationship planets, so its retrograde can lead to relationship issues and breakups. (it’s worth noting here that Venus will retrograde as well in the coming spring, which will exasperate relationship issues as these two retrograde cycles overlap with one another)
Mars retrograde cycles tend to illuminate the areas of our lives where we are not getting what we want. This may be because of misplaced goals or poorly thought-through strategies. Or, quite simply, life isn’t fair, and effort rarely equals payout. Mars retrogrades show us how we and our Others react when we are stymied. It may lead to pessimism or depression in those prone, especially as this cycle coincides with our dark season, so stay aware and practice the self-care necessary to weather this rough transit if necessary.
In particular, this retrograde cycle crosses from our fixed fire sign, Leo, backward into our cardinal water sign, Cancer. Immature Mars in Leo energy can be egotistic and self-serving; immature Mars in Cancer tends towards emotional manipulation to get what they want or need. These will be the two battles of this retrograde season. Immature Mars in Leo energy says, “I deserve this,” and immature Cancer energy says, “And I will do what I must to keep this.”
I intentionally use the word immature here because there is a mature form to both of these energies, and discovering this is part of Mars in retrograde energy. Mature Mars in Leo energy is “We ALL deserve this and I will work to make that happen,” and mature Cancer energy is “When we work together to accomplish our goals, we both win.” I also want to reiterate here that we all exhibit immature behaviors now and then, which doesn’t make us bad people. We are all imperfect human beings. The goal with retrogrades like this is to recognize when we are being immature or unfair to others, and to course correct.
As mentioned above, retrogrades all happen in three phases: the pre-retrograde shadow, the retrograde proper, and the post-retrograde shadow. This can explained through the silly analogy of falling in a hole:
Oh no, I fell into this hole! I didn’t know that it was there. There was no way of avoiding it! (pre-retrograde shadow)
Oh SHIT! Did I just fall into that same fucking hole? I should learn to avoid that. (retrograde)
(and hopefully) Oh hey – look at that hole! I don’t need to fall in that – I can walk around it. (post-retrograde shadow)
In this way, many people will face a lesson somewhere in their lives around the themes of the specific retrograde. Of course, whether they learn from it depends on many factors, such as general awareness, ability to think critically, and general maturity level. A person who isn’t willing to change will never get much from a retrograde cycle; on the other hand, someone who is open and willing to look critically at themselves and their own actions may gain a great deal.
Mars makes several aspects to our outer planets, the lunar nodes, and our asteroid Chiron, which shows that this will likely be an especially momentous retrograde for many. During this journey, Mars in Cancer will sextile Uranus in Taurus, trine Neptune in Pisces, and square Chiron thrice and trine Saturn in Pisces twice. Additionally, Mars will oppose Pluto thrice (once in Cancer and twice in Leo) and trine the North Node thrice (twice in Leo and once in Cancer).
This switchover between signs is especially important here. While Mars is moving backward between Cancer and Leo, Pluto is entering Aquarius for good, and our lunar nodes are switching from the Aries-Libra axis to Pisces-Virgo. This is part of a greater story evolving throughout 2025 as both Neptune and Uranus will also change signs. We can see that the cosmic pause of this Mars retrograde is likely necessary because everyone on Earth is undergoing a drastic shift in energy. We need the space to realign, even if it doesn’t fit our perfectly crafted 5-year plan.
If you aren’t where you thought you’d be during this Mars retrograde, know you are right on time. Pay attention to what is going on around you and discern if perhaps it is where you are meant to be and you just haven’t realized it yet.
Some big changes may be in order; there is no denying that. But holding on (the immature Mars in the Cancer specialty) doesn’t really keep things the same, even when we want it to.
If you want to do magic to help with this retrograde, I would encourage work around Pathfinding and Discernment. When the roads fade away, you may need to pave your own or hedge-trim your way through life until the way becomes clear.

December Horoscopes🎄✨:
🔥Aries: This month is going to bring forth massive transformation for Aries! With the North Node still transiting in conjunction with your Sun sign, and starting the month off in the family oriented 4°; this will bring up a lot of changes in terms of family values, and redefine what family means to you. As the North node continues to retrograde throughout the month, Aries will go through a total of 4 phases; redefining family values, communicating these changes, implementing changes that align with new values, and finally all of these changes being undeniably on the surface. My advice to you this month is to listen to your heart, and follow your intuition. This combination will help ensure you end up exactly where you feel most guided to be, and ensure you become the person you’re supposed to be to help you navigate the hard waters found within the new year. It’s time to take on the challenge!
⛰️Taurus: This month is going to start off with massive epiphanies! With Uranus still in conjunction with your Sun sign and starting off in the intuitive 24°, this will bring forth a knowing so accurate that it will rival any intuition you’ve had prior. Some themes to keep an eye out for are changes in children’s behaviors, acts of rebellion that a lesser evolved version of you can relate to, opportunities to increase monetary income by enhancing your knowledge in a certain area, and mental health changes in the people closest to you. My advice to you this month is to be of service to others, and use this enhancement in knowledge and knack for intuition to help those who may not see what is clearly in front of them. Once you find yourself helping those around you, then you will find these same people being of service to you by mid-late 2025. What goes around, comes around!
🌬️Gemini: This month your luck is going to change! With a huge month for emotional shifts, paired with Jupiter’s expansive energy - this month is going to change everything for Gemini, especially when it comes to what they are expected to feel and attain moving forward. This final month is going to set up Gemini for a very different year in 2025, with the most change being in the area of love and relationships. My advice to you this month is to start finding more love within yourself and realigning your priorities with what you’re ready to attain instead of focusing your energy on what has been lost over the years prior. With Pluto’s shift into Aquarius, you’re entering an era unlike anything you’ve ever seen before! Any love lost, and any hearts broken in the past will prove to be stepping stones to get you to where you will be by the end of 2025. This month is simply beginning that cycle, so get ready to experience a love like you’ve never experienced before!
🌊Cancer: This month is going to push you to finally set the boundaries you’ve needed to get the life you’ve always wanted! With many planetary oppositions aspecting your Sun sign this month, you may feel like the world around you is changing so quickly and drastically; leaving you feeling left behind. This energetic change is happening now to prepare you for what’s yet to come in 2025, which is a complete shift in priorities, and massive changes in daily life! My advice to you this month is to use the new moon in Capricorn on the 31st to lay down the law on what you are willing to sacrifice for and what’s not a priority for you. Cancer’s have been in a self sacrificial period for far too long, and the plutonic shift into Aquarius is going to help jumpstart one of the luckiest periods for you. Let others cater to you for once - because once we hit the new year, the changes in 2025 will make your current lifestyle completely unsustainable. Set the boundaries now and keep to your word!
🔥Leo: This month is going to come with massive physical changes, and some possible financial mishaps! With Pluto’s opposition to your Sun sign, and Mars starting her retrograde in conjunction with your sun sign; tempers will be running high, and you may have a few financial oversights that come back to bite you. Don’t fixate on this too much however, since 2025 has so many changes in store for Leo that will help put you ahead in these areas in terms of long-term sustainability. My advice to you this month is to try and be understanding to others emotional upsets, instead of putting yourself in the focus. This self-sacrificial energy will not be something Leo can maintain, however it will help Leos understand any mishaps happening around them. Come the new year, 2025 will bring many changes and upgrades in areas of finances, and friendships. So, don’t worry about any drama brought on this month. It’s only temporary!
⛰️Virgo: This month is going to be huge in terms of family changes for Virgo! With both Saturn and Neptune in opposition to your Sun sign, the changes happening this month are both karmic and something you will have been able to see coming. Nothing will come by surprise! My advice to you this month is to keep to yourself if you don’t feel that your energy or influence is being appreciated. The best plan of action for Virgo this month is to put all of their energy back into themselves and create the life they always wanted for themselves. Now is not the time to sacrifice yourself for others, or to put yourself out there for family who may not want you around. Take these lessons and find a way to better yourself and your personal situation so you can grow from the hardships you’ve experienced in 2024. In 2025, many changes will be coming for Virgo and can sometimes feel like it’s challenging an already difficult situation. This energy is not meant to end your luck, instead it’s meant to help you rediscover power within yourself you thought was long lost. You’re stronger than you give yourself credit for!
🌬️Libra: This month is going to help rebalance lost harmony within your life! With the asteroid Vesta in conjunction with your sun sign - this is going to enhance your softer side, making you less likely to put up with drama or people who have already betrayed you in the past. By the end of the month you will have fully embraced this new balancing act of finding a middle ground between being cold and people pleasing. These changes will only enhance over the next 18 years of Pluto transiting in fellow air sign, Aquarius. My advice to you this month is to prioritize the people and things that matter the most to maintain your personal peace, and leave the rest in the past where it belongs. If it’s meant for you, it will come to you without conditions!
🌊Scorpio: This month is going to switch up what you thought you knew, which may have you feeling nostalgic about the past. Let me be clear from the beginning, this nostalgia is not due to missing the past lifestyle you had, instead it’s more of missing the person you were before losing hope in the bigger picture of a better world in the future. The best advice I can give you this month is to remind you that these fears are simply feelings, and not an undeniable fact. For Scorpio in 2025, huge changes in understanding personal power are inevitable. So, that means in a way the best is still yet to come! Whether it may feel that way right now or not. By the new moon in Capricorn on the 31st you will start to feel an increase in anxiety of what’s coming for the collective in the new year. My advice to you is to understand that it’s not your job to save everyone, only yourself. Make sure you have solid goals for the new year and vocalize them to those you trust before the year’s end. This will help you feel understood moving forward, and give you faith in what’s yet to come. Keep your head clear, and your eyes peeled as we move into the new year!
🔥Sagittarius: This month is going to open your eyes to what you’ve been overlooking in both your own behavior and the people you’ve been surrounding yourself with. With the month starting off with a new moon in Sagittarius, then ending on the 31st with a new moon in Capricorn; this month is going to be the eye opener you’ve needed all year! My best advice to you is to be true to yourself and try to stay as grounded to reality as you possibly can. This will help you coast through any possible drama that could arise around you this month. With the Mars retrograde starting this month in a trine to your sun sign, this will increase your need for freedom and laughter, away from any possible drama. My advice to you this month is to keep your eyes open to those who are seemingly bringing drama into your life, without reason. These people are meant to be left in 2024, not brought into the new year. In 2025, many changes will come, which will enhance your need for loving and trustworthy relationships full of understanding. Any self-centered people, fueled by drama, will only bring you trouble. Allow yourself to move into a new era of your life without the need for gossip or drama. You will thank yourself for cutting ties with those loose ends now, instead of waiting until they end up turning on you in 2025!
⛰️Capricorn: This month is going to open your eyes to a whole new lifestyle! With Pluto officially moving into Aquarius, and the end of the month falling into a new moon in Capricorn - the last two weeks of the month will be a great example of what changes may come for your lifestyle in 2025. My advice to you this month is to spend New Year’s Eve reevaluating your priorities, and cutting down time at work where you deserve a break. It’s not your job to take care of everyone around you financially. In fact, you may come to an epiphany that you’ve been doing more than you’ve really wanted to do out of love. In 2025, it will be time for you to officially shift into the slower pace you’ve desired for so long. Any financial burdens that may arise during this slow down can be worked through logically, as long as those around you are willing to work with these adjustments. Anyone unwilling to give you the slower pace you’ve desired is abusing your kindness. 2025 will bring some much needed vacation time and the slower pace at work you’ve always deserved, so enjoy!
🌬️Aquarius: This month is going to increase your sense of urgency for repairing what is wrong with the world, while increasing your desire to help repair the collective! With Pluto’s shift underway in conjunction with your Sun sign, while Venus joins in this energy on the full moon on the 15th; the urgency you’re feeling now for change is only a small portion of what you will feel over the next 18 years. My advice to you is to use this energy to get more involved in giving back to others. Any work with charities, or selfless behaviors, will only act as an outlet for this excess of energy. As we move into 2025, this energy will amplify and can easily be used to build a more sustainable way of giving back to the collective. Any work that involves giving back, will only help amplify your social status and level of self worth now!
🌊Pisces: This month will have you being the reaper of karma and intuitive wake-up calls for those around you now! With Neptune and Saturn both still in conjunction with your sun sign, this will help put the ball in your court when it comes to watching those who’ve wronged you get what’s coming to them. On the 15th during the full moon, you will receive some sort of information that will help you understand the themes coming to you in the new year. My advice to you is to use this knowledge to empathize with those less fortunate now, instead of simply saying “I told you so”. This energy will help align you with your higher self and show you what your most powerful ability really is: your empathy. In 2025, you can expect changes in residence and travel while maintaining your strong intuitive ability to guide you to exactly where you’re meant to be now. Don’t look back, because the only direction you’re going is forward!

When Ego Takes A Knee
Friday - December 6, 2024
Tumblr media
Mars at 6° Leo will station retrograde at 6:33pm ET, retrograding back to 17° Cancer, and goes direct on February 23, 2025. Basically,, this retrograde is about opening your heart in ways you never have before, and then having the discipline to act on what it tells you.
The heart is both tough as steel and fragile as a new born. The ego and the mind - tools meant to promote and protect the heart - are often its worst enemies. The ego and the mind must be compelled to serve the heart. How does that look?
The mind focused on finding ways to fulfill the heart rather than deny it. And an ego focused on what the heart wishes for, rather than on what others are doing in situations in which the ego has no control. The mind and ego work for the heart, and are in charge of putting a plan together, to get the heart from point A to point B in the understanding and development of the heart's wishes.
During this Mars retrograde the ego will take a knee, and for many of you, be forced to listen to the heart. And while Mercury is retrograde (until December 15th), it also must take a knee to the heart.
This is the perfect time to hear your heart without the noise and clatter of the mind and ego. Hmm ... I wonder what you will hear.

2025 Forecast
Tumblr media
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's 2025 Forecast, hosted by Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock. Saddle up, it's a long one!
Overview
This year's forecast is divided into an overview of big planetary shifts and a chronological breakdown, but it doesn't go quarter-by-quarter like in previous years.
Tumblr media
Outer Planet Shifts
It's quite rare that such slow-moving planets as Neptune, Uranus and Pluto* all enter new signs in the same year (*Pluto has already ingressed to Aquarius after transiting Capricorn for the past 16 years, but this is the first full year he'll spend in Aquarius). Uranus has been in Taurus since 2018, and Neptune first ingressed to Pisces in 2011. Thus we are seeing major shifts happening all at the same time. These represent major cultural and social changes. In personal charts, this concludes activity in other parts of our charts and begins focus in a new area.
Pluto in Aquarius (November 2024 (final ingress) - January 2044)
Chris has been connecting this to cryptocurrency (Bitcoin started under Pluto in Capricorn) and AI stories, such as Google & other companies rolling out livechats. He predicts that robots, especially humanoid ones, will he ubiquitous in everyday life by the end of Pluto in Aquarius, though Austin is skeptical as to how evenly distributed technological advancements will be. Jobs and labor will surely be affected by the increasing digitization of different industries. Everyone's trying to hitch a ride on the AI train, but it'll take a major scandal before we see regulations put in place or see just how it'll integrate into society. We'll have to train our eyes to recognize the artificially generated, and we'll also have to deal with inefficient bureaucracy that technology alone can't quite fix. In mundane developments, even though the US was founded under Pluto in Capricorn, most of the government structure were put into place under Pluto in Aquarius. Last time Pluto was in Aquarius was the French Revolution (opposite Leo, the fixed signs of sovereigns and heads of state). The current Pluto in Leo generation (baby boomers) were raised definitively in the area of the celebrity, an issue that will likely come into question in the years ahead.
Uranus in Gemini (July 2025 - May 2033)
Uranus trines Pluto during this transit, so these two planets' themes are closely tied over the next decade. Previous Uranus in Gemini periods include the revolutionary war/founding of the USA, its Civil War, and WW2. Term limits were pushed and set under this transit with Washington & FDR; 84 years previous to the founding of the US John Locke wrote his ideas on government. Continuing on the theme of liberal democracy, the King James Bible was published under Uranus in Gemini in the 1600s--an attempt to democratize religion and encourage readers to have their own individual relationship with the text. Uranus was discovered during a Gemini transit in 1781, and was almost named "George" after the King of Britain. In general Uranus in Gemini brings particularly forward-thinking ideas while in Mercury-ruled signs. We should expect to see continued developments in AI controversies and LLMs (large language models), and the role of language overall. We can also expect shakeups in transportation, with technologies like self-driving cars and drones expanding in transportation, war, and everyday life. The burgeoning dominance of electric vehicles space travel are also likely previews into the Uranus in Gemini era, and we can look out for major developments in the realm of social media as well.
Neptune in Aries (March 2025 - March 2039)
Neptune's 165-year cycle means it changes sign about once every 14 years. The last Aries transit was in 1861-1875, and the ingress coincides exactly with US Civil War: Fort Sumter fell the day it ingressed. Neptune gives us dream-logic for its time, trends that are often only clear in retrospect. Austin describes the Neptune in Pisces era as valorizing qualities like acceptance & inclusivity, where the heroic figure of the time is a compassionate mystic/saintly. He predicts Neptune in Aries will valorize "the heroic." Where once suddenly everyone was an astrologer or witch, now, suddenly we're all soldiers/warriors. (This played out literally as mass conscription in the US Civil War & in England in previous Aries Neptune periods.) This period also saw developments in photography, namely war photography in newspapers bringing the goriness of war into every home. Civil War photos were originally shot in 3D and meant to be experienced through viewers, and the first color photo was taken 05/17/1861 when Neptune was at 1Aries, bringing levels of heightened realism and simulation into the conversation. Neptune in Aries faces us with forks in the road--no half measures.
Neptune in Aries can indicate wars remembered for their ideology, as was the case with the Taiping Revolt/Rebllion's bloody conclusion during Neptune in Aries (begun in Pisces). One of the deadliest wars in history (cost at least 20-30 million lives), it was instigated because of an extremist Christian religion. In medical astrology Mars-Neptune contacts can indicate autoimmune diseases where the body attacks itself, and the mundane analogy here is internal conflicts. In antiquity, the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in 70 CE occurred during Neptune in Aries, Pluto in Aquarius, and the eclipse points moving from Aries/Libra to Virgo/Pisces (all configurations we'll see in 2025). This is considered a catalyzing event for the subsequent Jewish diaspora over the following centuries, as well as the shift from centralized worship to Rabbinic Judaism. In science & engineering, the steam engine, dynamite, first underground railway, Suez canal, mechanical submarine, and the concept of light as EM radiation via Maxwell equations all came about during Neptune in Aries periods.
Saturn in Aries Saturn is entering Aries from May to September this year and will be copresent with/conjoining Neptune over the next three years. Saturn is in fall in Aries, highlighting tensions between patience and impulsivity. We can also expect prominent figures to fall from grace, such as during our last Saturn in Aries in the late 1990s with the scandal around Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinksy. In personal charts, Saturn in Aries people will often chalk up their difficulties to "not trying hard enough," when really it may just be a matter of timing and patience. Famous Aries Saturn people include skater Tony Hawk, daredevil Evel Knievel, directors Francis Ford Coppola and Lily Wachawski, witch-hunting politician McCarthy, writer Margaret Atwood, actresses Zendaya and Lucy Lawless, and activist Malala Yousafzai.
Saturn Conjunct Neptune Saturn and Neptune will get within 1 degree of each other this year, though we don't get an exact conjunction til 2026. We've been seeing the buildup of this since Saturn entered Pisces in March 2023. What's real and bounded, and what's illusory and pervasive? This tension between illusions & structures likely means we'll see increased distrust in authority, such as the public doubting what's reported in news stories or fake news sparking major conflicts, and Chris predicts increasing polarization between aggressive skeptics and religious fundamentalists. Austin uses the analogy of the Mad Max: Furiosa movie--everyone is trying to conscript you to come fight with them for water. Austin notes that Saturn-Neptune contacts punctuate major events in recent Russian history, including the founding of St. Petersburg and the dissolution of the USSR. He also brings up the historical example of ronin, rogue samuari who had some public support as vigilantes, and compares it to Luigi Mangione's alleged assassination of the United Healthcare CEO, saying the public reaction to this event is a prediction of things to come.
Chronological Breakdown
Mars Retrograde: December 2024 and January 2025
Tumblr media
We enter the year with Mars retrograde in Leo (opposite Pluto) and moving to Cancer on January 6th, and only getting to Leo on April 17th. This makes an extended transit through those two signs. Observationally, Mars is actually brightest and closest to Earth during its retrogrades, rising as the Sun sets, making him hyper-visible and much more reactive & chaotic than Venus & Mercury retrogrades. And indeed Mars's station on December 6th saw a bunch of major events: an attempted coup in South Korea, the Assad regime falling in Syria, a healthcare CEO assassinated in the US, a contested election in Romania, and the French government collapsing through a no-confidence vote.
Back to 2025, though: Mars entering Cancer on the 6th hearkens back to his last visit to the sign, September 4th-November 3rd of 2024. Events, both mundane and personal, will come back to us during this time. In politics we saw a lot of nativism and racism in US politics while Trump was campaigning, and unfortunately this is likely to resurface. Concerns over homelands & origin showed up in celebrity news with controversy over the New Orleans Superbowl booking Los Angeles-based rapper Kendrick Lamar over NoLa native Lil Wayne.
Mars is in fall in Cancer, and with Saturn in Aries later we get both malefics in fall this year. The trap of Cancer Mars is "nothing's safe enough," while that of Aries Saturn is "nothing is under enough control," and we must be on our toes to avoid falling into either. Mars in Cancer is reactive and impulsive, in contrast to the Saturnian discipline & foresight that Capricorn grants it in exaltation. In personal charts Mars rx in Cancer/Leo can show up as obstacles or frustration, or as an extended expenditure of energy in that area. Retrogrades can also bring things or people back into your life, and how you handle the situation sets you up for the next time you meet.
January 2025
Tumblr media
We enter the month with retrograde Mars opposing Pluto on the 3rd and regressing to Cancer on the 6th. On January 15th we get the exact opposition of Mars to the Sun, days after the Full Moon, so that's another time to watch out for in events. The US presidential inaguration is on Jaunary 20th under a Sun-Pluto conjunction.
Electional chart for January:
Tumblr media
The chart is for January 10th, at roughly 9:30AM local time to get early Pisces rising. The ruler of the Ascendant, Jupiter, is in the 4th house (♊) in a day chart and makes an auspicious conjunction to the Moon, who herself is separating from a square to Venus (♓). Venus is also exalted in the first house & on the Ascendant. This is also about as far away as we can get from the Mars-Pluto opposition while also avoiding the Sun-Mars opposition later this month. This is good for 4th house matters: not only home and family, but also matters where you're important but not visible, like a director.
Overall, January and February are dominated by the Mars retrograde, a "not so calm" before the storm of springtime.
March & April Venus goes retrograde on March 1st, regressing into Pisces before stationing direct on April 12th. Meanwhile, on March 29th we get an Aries solar eclipse, the final installation in a series going back to October 2023. The next day, March 30th, Neptune waltzes into Aries for the first time in a century. Meanwhile Mercury retrogrades from March 15th until April 7th, backtracking into Pisces while doing so. And if that wasn't enough, Saturn moves into Aries on May 24th. March & April are like a series of cascade reactions, and we'll spend the rest of the year (or few years in the case of Saturn) reacting to, cleaning up the aftermath of, and wrestling with understanding what happened. We'll definitely see major geopolitical events, maybe with bizarre connections, all the while thinking things are going in one direction when they're really going another.
Venus & Mercury Retrograde; Eclipses
Tumblr media
Venus's station points are felt most intensely, but like with the Mars retrograde we also experience this as an extended transit of Venus through the signs of Aries and Pisces from January to June. Her retrograde also comes just 5 days after Mars concludes his own. Chris predicts that, unlike the Leo Venus rx a couple summers ago, there may be more fighting around women's issues rather than straightforward celebration. In Aries we already expecting a more combative expression of Venusian issues, and the increased activity in Aries only intensifies this prediction. Venus in Aries is not quiet--she's bold, active, and direct. In personal charts we'll see returns of events from 8, 16, or 32 years ago (last time she was retrograde in Aries), reviewing and revising relationships in the present. What and who do we want? Do we still want that? Under Venus rx we look for an unambiguous "yes." We can also see delays or postponements, scandals, and provocative art & culture. We'll be going back and forth between an exalted, compassionate Venus and a forthright, exiled Venus, choosing between the two on any given day and trying to reconcile them.
With Venus retrograde we can also think of the myth of Inanna (a story based off the Venus rx cycle), who descends through gates of the underworld and returns home to find her consort has taken the throne before she takes it back. We'll likely see stories about women in powerful positions reclaiming something after going through a struggle as Venus stations direct in her sign of exaltation. Specifically, she stations direct on April 13th conjunct Saturn (ironically another signature of Trump's upcoming inauguration), with Mercury retrograde also in Aries & Pisces at the same time. Both these planets are passing over Neptune in late Pisces as well: sometimes we have a lovely, dreamy vision that turns out to be terribly disappointing. Venus and Mercury will both cross Neptune three times, in both Aries and Pisces.
Mercury stations at 0Aries on March 29th, the same day as the solar eclipse, and switches signs with Neptune (leaving Pisces) the next day. The culminating eclipse is marred by miscommunications and illusions. As the last installment of a series begun in October 2023, this eclipse will definitely see developments in Israel's wars on other countries in the region. More generally, in mundane astrology North Node solar eclipses in Aries have coincided with the assassinations of heads of states & movements, as well as the eclipsing/stepping down of leaders...yet another signature of changing/threatened leadership in 2025.
In the middle of March we also get our first Virgo eclipse of this series, corresponding to the September eclipse in Pisces. We'll revisit the areas again in September with a Pisces and Virgo eclipse. The barrier between Aries/Pisces and Virgo/Libra sees a lot of activity in the first half of 2025. We'll definitely remember this year for the crazy Aries activity, though Austin predicts it'll come back to haunt us in 2026.
May-June-July Saturn enters Aries on May 24th, creeping up on Neptune and getting within a degree of him by July (~13th-14th), and then stationing retrograde. An outer planet's first station in a new sign signals what to expect, and Saturn and Neptune both do so in July (on the 13th and 4th respectively). From May 24th to September 1st we have Neptune and Saturn very close to each other and retrograding. Uranus enters Gemini on the 7th.
Jupiter in Cancer He enters in June of 2025, staying there until June of 2026. In this sign of his exaltation, he'll be counterbalancing some of the crazier transits of this year. He's also doing cleanup after Mar's messy transits earlier this year in the Cancer parts of our charts. Jupiter is a little folksy in Cancer--he's not just lavishing the wealthy, but is generous to everyday people as well. The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was enacted during Jupiter in Cancer in 2013-14 (a Jupiter under attack!), bringing important healthcare considerations to this placement (A/N: Cancer as a sign of nurturing and protection). In July of 1990 during Jupiter & Venus in Cancer, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was passed. Chris is wary of being too optimistic, but hopes that something good in healthcare is coming forward. This transit is a Jupiter return (every ~12 years) for the US Sibly chart, and also the repetition of a longer 83-year cycle where he hits the same degree on the same day--the third one since the US's founding, making this an especially potent Jupiter return. You'll notice that's only one year off from Uranus cycles, so we'll definitely see further reevaluations of the US's founding this year.
Generally, exalted planets represent someone at the highest level of their field, and Jupiter in Cancer is a sort of "get rich slow" planet. Success is cultivated, grown, and encouraged. In June & July Jupiter will square Saturn, though, a configuration that corresponds to financial and economic crashes. Jupiter in Gemini saw tech company crashes, but in a new sign we'll likely see new industries affected.
July & August: Outer Planet Teamup
Tumblr media
Uranus enters Gemini on July 7th, the last of the slow outer planets to ingress to his new sign. From then til October 21st, we have the rare and powerful influence of several outer planets teamed up: Uranus sextiling Saturn & Neptune and trining Pluto (meaning Saturn & Neptune also sextile Pluto). This is a sort of pilot episode previewing what'll happen when they return in 2026. These planets shift from feminine water/earth signs to masculine air/fire signs, and each outer planet (except Pluto) will retrograde into his preceding sign in October & November, giving us a break from the teamup of big players for a bit. Mars in Libra will aspect all of these outer planets in August, making the configuration especially active then.
September - Eclipse Season Last September we saw our first Pisces eclipse of this series, and we'll have had another development with the first Virgo eclipse in March. Now we're firmly in Virgo-Pisces eclipses for the next 2 years. The September 7th and 21st eclipses will have us think about the big picture vs. granular details--how can we hold them in unison? The major endings & beginnings brought by eclipses are further punctuated by Saturn regressing back into Pisces on September 1st. Maybe a last set of upgrades need to be put in place in our Pisces area, though now our Virgo house is tied in as well.
October, November, December Neptune returns to Pisces October 22nd, Uranus to Taurus on November 7th, and Saturn stations direct for his last pass through Pisces on November 27th. A new chapter of our lives has begun, but we need to do a final check-in before things reach completion. The outer planet demolition team will be back on April 25th, 2026, where it'll stay until 2032-33. Neptune will station in Pisces on December 10th, another important Pisces turning point. Jupiter stationing in Cancer on November 11th is the cherry on top for the year ending where it began (but not to stay!). We end 2025 coming full circle on our sort of last look backwards before plunging for good into new--though not entirely unknown--territory.

🔴 Mars Retrograde 🔴
Mars will go retrograde on 12/6/2024 at 6 degrees Leo and will stay until 2/23/2025 at 17 degrees cancer.
Your energy source becomes subdued, your desire, your motivation, your call to action, your source of anger hits road blocks. In Leo we will reflect on our self expression and pride and how it affects our drive and motivation. What are our true needs? And once retrograde into Cancer on 1/6/2025 it will shift into reflection on healing core wounds relating to family or your roots. Life is going to send us some obstacles that force us to slow down and process the path we are on. Which of course can feel frustrating. Things/people from the past can come up that fuel anger, especially family members. But this is the time to utilize any anger or frustrations to analyze how you have dealt with things from the past. And how can you find other ways to process and heal. Hash things out and get them out into the open so you can move forward. Where do you need to take a detour? Are you chasing things not needed? Are you in something for the wrong reasons? Are you spending your energy in the wrong places? What do you need for self nourishment? What do you need to heal? The road blocks, the obstacles, the slow down, the impatience are all trying to show you something. Pay attention to the signs from our fiery planet Mars. They will be blazing red leaving a rift behind them.

CANCER MARS, LEO MARS, AND UPCOMING MARS RX-
We shouldn't throw stones in glass houses, but sometimes the entire room needs to be brought down before you can start rebuilding anything.
Tumblr media
I think, as Mars is direct in Leo, unresolved conversations are going to be buried, both sides believing they don't need to hear anything else to believe they're right. Change will be reserved for those who put action to their beliefs, which obviously leads to conflict. The Sun will be in Sagittarius during this time, so it comes off to me like... [the fight won't stop until someone else is hurt], a third party being pulled in before both sides are brought to realize how low they've allowed themselves to dig into each other. Again, action, the hand, will have complete control during this transit, rending apologies completely useless. We had the choice of the ear, the heart, but continuing to punch forward is what people are going to respond to.
As Mars goes retrograde, the month it'll spend backing out of Leo will be the time for [retribution]. Just like how fire signs tend to miss the bigger picture, we'll be left to realize that we only partially won a battle that is part of a much bigger war. For as aggressive as this transit comes off, I don't think anyone will be stabbed by a sword they never pulled out. While Mars, direct, could lead to people being dragged in, I think the beginning of this retrograde will be about taking peoples' debt in blood. Hurt people, who've tried to live above the wrong done to them, will give into wanting people to understand their pain. Pure people understand there is no healing in revenge, but there is freedom in destroying their idea of our weakness.
As Mars reenters Cancer, I think this transit is most easily imagined as a bear in her cave, attempting to care for her hurt cub, even ignoring her other cubs in doing it. There is no more fighting, but there is no talking to a hurt heart who's lost so much. I think this is why it's important to... [right now], attempt to find common ground with people, because it will hurt even more to attempt to circle back around and find forgiveness in losing them. The Cancer retrograde transit will be a time to grieve what [is] over, what [is] part of a past that is not coming back, but we have a choice in who comes into the future with us. Just don't be above having a conversation about how our feelings could have hurt someone else's.

☁️Astrology Weather☁️
🐚Venus in Leo- it will bring a lot of fun, joy, playfulness, childlike energy. A lot of nostalgia (you will remember things you used to do, childhood memories). You can see people from childhood, old love. Maybe you will start to miss the times that used to be or a certain period that was really close to your heart. But leo is also about pride, purpose, creative power, passion- which means that you will look for greater passion in the things you do. Finding the meaning of your life will be the key here. You will turn more to people who will bring you joy, light and optimism. Leo also represents hobbies - which means that you can start doing hobbies that you used to do again. It is also a gambling house -during this time you can play more games of chance or place bets. Be careful not to take too many risks.
🫧On the relationship front, set aside some time to think about how your love life could improve. Maybe you’ll decide that you’re finally ready to get into a serious relationship.
🪷Mars in Leo- there will be more invitations to fancy places, more exciting catch ups with friends and exes, and more personal achievements and awards. From best-dressed grocery store trips to triumphant blog postings, applause will spur you to play a bigger game everywhere you go. This is a time to chase down what you desire and pounce on opportunities to express your creativity.
🌙Cancer Season- This astrological season is all about craving comfort and feeling loved. Cancer season impacts all zodiac signs, but Cancer and Leo will feel it the most. You will spend as much time as possible enjoying the good things in life—like delicious food in beautiful places, preferably while lounging around with friends who feel like family. You will look for your comfort and where you feel the best. Emotionally, you will want to be with people who will make you feel at home. You can also decorate your room during this time.
🎾Mercury in Gemini- more fluent communication. You will be more motivated for more topics or things you want to talk about. This can also bring energy -gossiping about others or others gossiping about you.
🧘🏽‍♀️Sarurn retrograde in Pisces- saturn affects the events, a longer period (which means that saturn does not affect you emotionally or directly). Saturn governs thresholds and doorways, and government institutions. As a symbol of age and time it signifies clocks and watches, rulers and measures. Anywhere cold, dark, lonely, or isolated comes under Saturn. But saturn is also planet of limits, rules, authority, hard work, dignity, patinence, boundaries, good&bad karma. Saturn helping us to shape things appropriately. We must have Jupiter’s vision & Neptune’s dreams but Saturn brings out visions & dreams into real life. Saturn will help you realize your dreams. This will be a time when you can — and should, frankly — take the pressure off yourself.
☕️Pluto retrograde in Capricorn- Pluto suggests the presence of hidden power or wealth: plutocrats, archaeologists, psychotherapists, miners, and underworld crime. Spies, detectives, and secret services are happily embraced by this planet. Pluto is where we can become powerful, although it can also be a place where at times we feel disempowered, invisible, or persecuted. At the end of the tunnel, though, is the light of regeneration. Things from the past can now come to the surface and the truth can be seen. Now you will be able to really leave behind the things that have been holding you back for years. And you will become stronger and better from it. You will get your power.
💻Pluto in Aquarius in general will bring many changes in the field of technology and science. The world will begin to change in a technological direction (there will be more robots, devices, applications). Everything will become too computerized. There will be more emphasis on community and society. Who is the leader, who leads what and which group you will join. I know it's a long time coming, but I can't wait for pluto in pisces- then there will be more emphasis on romance, dreams, artistry. Perhaps bringing renewed interest in spirituality and religion.
🫧 In another post I will talk about NN in Aries & SN in Libra🫧

So what is the part of fortune in astrology you may ask? 💁‍♀️(Check below for more info)
Tumblr media
So you might've heard that the part of fortune in our chart shows us where we experience luck and that it's how we can become rich by embodying the traits of the sign its in, well...not quite, that's taking away the traits of jupiter, so if you wanna know more about that look at your jupiter placement by sign, house and aspects. The part of fortune can NOT tell you how you can become richer and successful in life, in fact the part of fortune and the sign its in shows us the fortunate circumstances we might experience/encounter in our life. Sign, aspect and house placement can all color how this placement plays out. Ps: I don't associate the zodiac signs with things that are objectively good or bad like westerner astrologers do. I won't say "pof is libra and Libra rules venus so that means your circumstances are good and you'll experience venus things 🥰😍😜🤪" or "pof is in capricorn and capricorn is ruled by saturn so that means your circumstances are bad, evil and restricting, you'll experience saturn things😤🥺😫😣" not only is that misleading but it's also too surface level for me to operate. The signs don't just get their meanings from their rulers, they also get their meanings from the way we live our lives, the everyday things we do like taking care of ourselves(taurus), going to work(capricorn), fighting for a cause(aquarius), being in a relationship (libra) ect. EX: Pof in capricorn can ACTUALLY talk about experiencing alot of fortunate circumstances in your career and this can be amplified for you if it sits next to or conjunct planets like venus or jupiter. Saturn conjunct the POF will NOT mean the same thing as having POF in capricorn and the sign its in won't tell you everything because a challenging aspect can dramatically change how it plays out
Here are some challenging POF placements that talk about unfavorable circumstances:
POF in the 6th 8th or 12th house (unless making some favorable aspects to luminaries or benefics)
POF conjunct or in challenging aspect to Mars or Saturn( unless POF ruler is in the 5th or 11th house)
Here are some favorable POF placements that talk about fortunate circumstances:
Part of fortune aspecting venus
Part of fortune aspecting jupiter
Part of fortune in the 5th or 11th house
Planet that rules the Part of fortune in the 5th or 11th house/in aspect to venus or jupiter
Tumblr media
The part of fortune can describe things that might feel fated in our lives, like they were meant to happen in order to either provide us challenges or make our lives easier. I really hate to break everyones facade about the POF but it isn't especially easy or good for everyone but this is just my perspective as a traditional astrologer and what i learned, hope this helps xx
