anyone who says tdp "ruined rayllum" can meet me in the denny's parking lot. i will truly never believe that the writers broke up rayllum (physically i mean) just as a plot contrivance. this is not me defending my favorite show and my favorite ship; i genuinely believe this was the right move. even when i was young and dumb and first heard about an arc 2 i was like "pff rayllum isn't gonna break up," and yet in the back of my mind i was just wondering how are they gonna pull this off? like i loved them and i know they loved each other and they were sweet little babies blah blah blah but you cannot sit here and tell me that the two 15 year olds who went through a whole shitload of trauma and grief together and who were already killing themselves for each other out of hopeless devotion within 2 weeks weren't bound to crash and burn. people seem to forget that rayla didn't simply decide to leave just because; she was being tormented by her unresolved issues and could not stand to be in that place anymore, no matter how much she loved callum. of course she left because a) that's all she's ever known and b) because they couldn't last (how they were, anyway). rayla and callum had grown to rely on one another so much that they needed time to grow up on their own, and now, well...

there is no better way to test love than to put it through the ringer and see if it survives, and rayllum not only love each other just as much if not more, truly understand each other on a whole new level despite having been apart for so long, and now are back together and stronger than they've ever been. it was entirely logical and frankly inevitable for this to happen, it was a natural progression for the story, and it has made them better.

if ncuti gatwa quits, which is fully within his right to do so if he no longer wants to play the doctor, i will understand, despite the fact that he quickly became like my favorite doctor

and the show as a whole being at risk because a black man is playing the doctor and the show is "too woke" like it always been????? if you're only complaining now then you're just racist

i love ncuti as the doctor, but if he is being treated like shit for being a black man playing the doctor, he doesn't have to take that shit and he doesn't deserve it

doctor who is my favorite show of all time and has been for 14 years now and it would absolutely destroy me to lose it

the way i've been wanting to write an epic albus dumbledore fanfic spanning multiple acts of his life (childhood, summer 1899, post-1899, the war, rest of his life, afterlife) for YEARS but have always given up half-in is so sad.

like the last LONG grindeldore fic I finished was in 2020 with 45k words. since then, I've only written short stories, one shots and unfinished fanfictions.

i've written so many other stories since then, but I think I fear to not do grindeldore justice, so I always get terrified at the thought of finishing a fanfiction about them.

no because even though I don’t really believe in the coffee theory (like I guess it kinda makes sense but there’s something about it that makes me feel like we’re missing something) *SOMETHING* definitely happened during aziraphale’s conversation with the metatron

like why didn’t they just straight up show us the whole thing instead of aziraphale just telling us the most important bits huh? 🤨⁉️ there’s something fishy there

i personally feel like aziraphale has been acting way “bolder” I guess you could say, when it comes to his relationship with crowley

like it really seemed like he was finally ready to “go a bit faster” if you know what I mean

i mean he had literal heart eyes for the entire season, and not only that but like his reaction to when jim said the whole thing about “everything being right when you’re near one particular person”, the banter all throughout the season (HIM ASKING FOR THE APOLOGY DANCE), the magic act scene — honestly this season every single flashback seemed like proof that aziraphale has truly loved crowley for as long as him; on that note, THE ‘BEFORE THE BEGGINING’ SCENE (“look at you you’re gorgeous!” “:D … oh :/” COME ON); HIS REACTION TO GABRIEL AND BEELZEBUB GOING TO ALPHA CENTAURI TOGETHER (which happy for them btw we love to see it)

AND LITERALLY SO MANY MORE

he genuinely seemed ready to finally take the next step with crowley so for him to suddenly say all of that doesn’t feel right

I don't know if this context will ever make sense to anyone but me, but currently working on chapter 25 of Papa Mia! listening to Epic: Wisdom Saga on repeat. So that that as you please.

I just rewatched the scene where eddie is talking to Helena and Ramon before they take chris back to el paso.

1. Helena talks to eddie like she knows chris better than he does

2. no one will ever convince me that she didn’t say something to chris when he called them, like why would she need to make sure that eddie knew that they “didn’t say something to chris” or whatever she said.

3. Ramon saying straight out that you can’t fix it, like yeah not if you take his son away and not even giving either of them a chance to discuss what happened.

4. also this idea that chris should make the decision to leave, like sure he should have autonomy to make certain decisions but maybe not one like this, like there were so many other options.

5. we all know that Helena and Ramon did not give eddie the grace of needing time away from them when he was chris’ age. and that’s what pisses me off the most, they treat eddie like a vessel for giving them chris, and chris like their actual child.

I really hope they don’t give the Diaz’ a redemption arc, because they do not deserve it

Watching a few people give stupid criticism over Gen Loss that makes 0 sense, from being annoyed that not everyone’s a perfect actor to being annoyed that it isn’t Hollywood level stuff.

I also saw someone say “ I can’t suspend my belief because that’s not how online media works” no my dude that’s how fictional media works

when you watch a movie or show you suspend your belief for the sake of enjoying it

It’s the same for watching online horror content, like locks 58 or Walten Files or Mandela Catalogue. A lot of those have elements that wouldn’t make sense in the real world but it’s not the real world, it a fictional one with horror and paranormal elements, you have to suspend your belief to enjoy it

If you wanted high budget stuff, then don’t want indie content online, and certainly do not complain about it that’s so stupid

I’m not saying it’s perfect but like if your complaint that Ranboo ( who funded his passion project on it own like any other artist typically does) doesn’t have the large budget to create something you’d find in the movies, I have to wonder if you respect indie creators at all

I also wonder if we watched the same thing and I midly get concerned with the way we consume media online a little

"cause i know you, rayla" i am short-circuiting. yk i assumed if he ever brought the whole issue up, it would be because he was brought to his limit watching her hurt herself, that he would be filled with anguish. and yet here we are: it's just something that he knows, and he's always known it, and KNOWS. HER GODDAMMIT. he knows that this is just how she is, and that it's a part of her, and he loves every part of her, so he's content to simply give her everything she won't give herself, whenever possible. he doesn't bother with telling her to "just do better" when he could just show her what that looks like, and let her be better for herself, and make sure she knows that he will always be there to take her by the hand--literally (placing her hand on the corona, and all). the development from arc 1 is insane--"then you don't know me at all" -> now this--and it makes me so happy to see that he's not just "forgiving" rayla for "what she's done," but actively correcting the mistakes that he made back then, too. all the while encouraging her to do the same with nothing but love and consideration. i'm ok i swear

Well now I’ve noticed this cute guy who’s in my lunch period, and I’m stuck between the two. I haven’t talked to the guy in my lunch, we’ve just made eye contact a couple times. I really like him because he looks very similar to the s/o I tried manifesting.
