Blamed Fenris for Marrie getting left in the Fade when Fenris was still grieving.

Killed several Templars.

Worked for smugglers and was the one usually sent to shake people down.

Refused to help the Inquisition because he doesn't like Cullen, doesn't like the church, and didn't believe Varric about the Inquisitor.

Fenris and Zevran both being advisers to the Inquisitor post Inquisition and slowly becoming friends and bonding over having crazy powerful mage wives and their pasts.

Fenris acting annoyed with Zevran but secretly is amused by him. Zevran being his normal flirty and goofy self but being there for Fenris when Fenris needs someone to talk to after Hawke got left in the fade. Fenris being someone Zevran can go to when Zevran isn't coping well with knowing that one day the Calling is going to take his Warden away from him.

I need these two to be best friends.

Right now, Heinz is helping with the second-year's musical function. I'm overseeing to make sure nothing catches fire. And yes, I've met Professor Shelly. She seems good.

As for his voice, I like it, he is always passionate with music, I'm used to it.

I'm determining this based on my builds of my own four. Rook isn't even a mage and the least experienced so she's probably the weakest. My Inquisitor would be the third weakest I think. She really doesn't have any good counters to my Hawke or Warden and she'd not built for a physical fight so if either get close Inquisitor doesn't stand a chance. So that leaves Hawke and the Warden. A fire and force mage built like a wall (I gave Hawke a lot of strength for reasons that looking back I have don't know what I was thinking) and an ice and blood mage.

Warden also uses daggers so if it turned to a physical fight rather then just magic she could stand a chance.

It would be close but I think in the end Hawke would be the winner. There were a lot of bloodmages in Kirkwall so that is something Hawke has proven she can fight against, and with Hawke's fire magic the Warden's ice wouldn't do much good. Not to mention Hawke could probably just knock my poor Warden out with one good punch. That poor elf is built like a twig.

So ya. Marrie Hawke for the win.

i really just think cobra kai would be a more interesting show if eli and demetri got together at the last all-valley tournament

like up the tension of them becoming friends again in s4 and navigating that their feelings are actually MORE than friendship

like hawk going to miyagi do to fight after his head is shaved for demetri would be so much sweeter if it was also charged with eli's feelings for demetri

imagine it's demetri who kisses Eli to get him his confidence back right before his fight

the entirety of season 5 is charged with "established relationship" vibes from the two of them

and them both helping miguel with his love life would still make sense but suddenly their reference for relationship advice is each other (and they're entirely dysfunctional so it makes sense why their advice ends up sucking)

season 6 divorce arc would be even more painful with demetri thinking that eli not applying to MIT means he's dumping him....

...and eli being like "no dipshit i want to explore other options" "oh other OPTIONS? like date other PEOPLE?" "demetri no-"

and like just add another relationship crisis to the list with the sekai taikai that's pretty much what had everyone else off their game.....

and then the locker room apology would've obviously ended in a kiss

Sometime after Hawke and Fenris left Kirkwall but before they found a place to live and settled down.

On the road they may have encountered someone who recognized the Champion.

Fenris moves to stand in front of Hawke, ready to protect him if necessary. At this point Hawke doesn't even want to defend himself, he only wishes to run away and stop hurting people. But he also knows that if Fenris fights for him there will be blood.

Perhaps they are able to avoid the fight?

so for obvious reasons, rye is not generally all that popular with most of the senior watchers. however. I think there is a certain type of younger watcher to whom he is The ultimate hot badboy icon and fantasy. (we're talking about a group of extreme indoor kid goth nerds who've barely been outside. it doesn't take a lot ot achieve bad boy status in this context and the only thing in this world that lasts forever is a bad reputation in a small insular group like the watchers.) it's SO funny because rye thinks of himself as such a disappointing fuckup of a son of the grand necropolis. and meanwhile there are novices kicking their feet and giggling as they're like

'Ingellvar is so cool. no one knows where he's from he was found down here as a baby. mysterious orphan appeal. he could be a secret dalish prince or something for all we know. (*annoyed extra nerd watcher novice voice*: umm actually the dalish don't have princes, merrivar?? read a real book sometime maybe???) he's a rebel. he doesn't care what the senior watchers think no time for politics he just gets the job done. (*small sad rye voice* I care a lot what the senior watchers think actually. a pathetic amount, in fact. it just rarely seems like it helps anything at all) I heard he graduated almost top of his class even though he spent all his time as a student partying up in the city and having a torrid affair with the son of a noble family. sometimes in his spare time he wears a cool punk leather jacket but like the fantasy version of that. he has tattoos apparently but no one's seen them for years. yuh-uh it's true too, I know someone who knows someone he dated once. they say he saw a knife fight once. like, in a bar brawl, with living people. all that, and he's even sneakily emotionally unavailable. *starry-eyed sigh* what a dreamboat'.

needless to say this only grows worse with the events of the game, after he takes out the formless one and rumours start to spread that he maybe killed a god or something too???? and this being nevarra, more importantly he's out there killing dragons with his sworn companions?? like a fucking fairytale prince but with that devil-may-care rebellious streak???? he's the safely unavailable first crush at a distance of many a young watcher. now imagine the reaction when he shows up home for the first time in a year after the war of the banners accompanied by The one true bad boy fantasy to rule them all: literally the sad brooding crown prince of the crows of antiva in leather pants who has WINGS and a dark tortured side of his nature that he has to constantly battle against for the sake of those he loves.

(the perception vs. reality situation for both of these characterizations is. so unspeakably hilarious needless to say. consider how much of the above lucanis characterization is accurate to the person he actually is and then you've basically found the level of distortion lens being applied to rye as well. is most of it technically true? sure. 'technically' is having to do a whole world of heavy lifting there tho fhdfska)

what I'm really saying here is that there is a subsection of this group that's been ferociously writing rye/lucanis rpf from the moment they were seen trotting down into the necropolis depths together (other pairings within the lighthouse gang as a whole, caught in tantalizing glimpses as they visit the necropolis, of course having their own devotees), and when this fandom subgroup eventually discover they were right it's with all the insane glee of a sixteen year old fanfic writer on wattpad (is that still where the kids are these days. idk i'm getting old folks) finding out that their dark mafia prince AU is basically true. varric might be gone but the legacy of friendfiction lives on after him. the king of thedas rpf being the shoulders of titans that young watchers are standing on to write fevered WILDLY inaccurate depictions of the private life of two of the most low-key domestic quietly devoted and undramatic people on the continent, one of them being varric's own poor little meow meow slash mentee, is something that can actually be so personal. rye does not end up terribly famous in the end considering the shit he manages to get done in this game, and he thanks his lucky stars for it. but to a tight-knit community of mourn watch fic writers he is blorbo from my apocalypse. it's all I could have wished for him.

Emmrich,, Lucanis, Taash, and Rook (my Malc Rook) all gathered together for coffee and cake and bundled up in throw blankets, "Hello, welcome to the dead parents club." Requirements, Dead Parents. Free coffee and supportive pats on he back for life. Emmrich actually get's emotional, because as a boy he felt so alone with his loss. His parents, murdered in the return of Dragons (according to a fantastic theory about the return of dragons reeking havoc on Nevarra first). Lucanis, who struggles with the idea of legacy and grief. Because Crows don't grieve, they can't. It's too easy to be broken with their line of work. Besides, Caterina never let him grieve his parents.... so this club means he can finally reminisce about a much kinder childhood. Taash who is still so angry. Never knew their father, can only wonder if they've crossed paths now, if Taash themself killed their father, there's such a slim but there chance. A man who wasn't enough for Shathan to stay in the Qun with, or good enough to follow Shathan out of it. And then there's Shathan, and it's such a tangled pain to be so unresolved, it's good to have two older club members to gently but firmly help Taash grieve and forgive their mom at the same time. And Rook...Rook who for this particular AU? He's maybe 19 years old. He lost his Papa when he was maybe five, maybe six. Didn't even get to know until his Dad came home to tell him, "Papa won't be coming back to Kirkwall sweetheart.." And his Dad. He didn't even know his Dad was dead. He didn't know, until said Dad told him that he'll make both of them so proud, like he already does, but he has to go and can't stay in the fade with both of his dad's -- he almost does. He tells the club such. He almost gave up coming back to the team, because he got to hold his papa and daddy and it feel so fucking unfair. He feels guilty to, and apologizes to their others. "I'm the only one who got to say goodbye, but here I am whining about it...sorry." "Oh...dear," Emmrich holding his hand, "It's so lovely that you did get to say goodbye...how lovely it is to know they're together in the end." Taash is just impressed about who Rook's parents are, and agrees to go with Rook to visit the Lord's and give Isabela the news. To help plan a little memorial, since Taash didn't get to bury their parents either. Lucanis says its sweet that Rook's dad's got to be together and see Rook off. that he knows what it's like exactly to carry such a heavy legacy as a family name when orphaned so young... They all share the one thing in common, but in such different ways. It means they can understand each other, but also help each other to grieve, process, and eventually, to heal
