Lassie is also sable, so I would assume people would be able to identify Stellina as a collie better if that’s their breed reference? I didn’t even know tri was an accepted color until fairly recently, that’s how ingrained sable Lassie is in the cultural image of a collie. Literally page one of the story and the cover of the movie. THATS WHAT IM SAYIN like literally if you look up “lassie” all you get are sable collies! I know some folk with merle collies and they lament all the time about how people always assume their dogs are Aussie or BC mixes because merle isn’t very commonly known as a rough collie color. and a few people I’ve showed Keps pictures to have been like “oh I didn’t know they came in black.” But he just exudes undeniable Collie Vibes I guess.

He Tried to tackle and drag one of the masked guys away from hetch

Ignoring hetch who was yelling at him to run

As he was trying to help him one of the masked figures reached to the gun on their waist

Charlie didnt realize.

Hetch did not have enough time to react.

Also last post on this but come ON you cannot be blaming every outcome on judges not liking natural eared dogs. I get it, judges in the US are partial and prefer a cropped ear. I agree. But man not every single show boils down to "judges don't understand that natural ears are just as correct as cropped".
