Okay, but hear me out……… Alex Hirsch as King Boo using his Bill Cipher voice
Hmmmm, I don't see it. Bill Cipher's voice has too much "tiny salesman with a lot of charisma" energy that doesn't quite fit the character. King Boo is more of an "enormous emotionally unstable mob boss" sort of guy.
Tumblr media
There are two options that I feel would work best for King Boo:
A harsh, raspy voice that imitates his in-game noises (like an Alex Brightman or a Mark Hamill)
A deep, melodious voice that emphasizes his intimidating nature and fits the canon of his opera number in SMB Wonder (like a Laurence Fishburne or a Clancy Brown)

I don't think the skin tones in hazbin hotel are that bad
It's becuz they are all nit human so qhy should they have normal skin colour? Also I don't actually mind Sir Pent's actual skin colour. But then again even if they wanna make Adam look like beetlejuice they should've gave him some melanin considering he's made out of clay [or fron dirt by the first ep idk] like heaven should be a place in the hellaverse where all angels are humans with some traits of abnormal yet still human
The skin tones in Hazbin Hotel for me are pretty hit or miss (but mainly miss). Because when you watch the show and you see Alastor for example: do you see a creole man? Or do you see a white man who was changed at the last moment to be a person of color?
Tumblr media
You would think their skin tones, the way someone died, and the year would be a huge factor in how they look in Hell. Or what about Carmilla Carmine? The way you know she is Spanish is her background theme music, her voice actor speaking a few lines of Spanish, and her accent. Her design doesn’t scream Spanish/hispanic woman. Does that mean anyone who is purplish grey tone related is automatically Hispanic or Spanish?
Tumblr media
What about Velvette? Would anyone tell she is black if she didn’t change up her hair every episode she was in or didn’t have an afro? Majority of hell has the same or similar skin tones. So you kind of have to listen to the voice actor’s accent or background music to figure out what race or ethnicity they are.
Tumblr media
Can anyone even tell if Niffty of all people is supposed be at least Japanese or Asian related without looking at the wiki? Look at her skin, she is white as Charlie. Does that mean Lucifer and Charlie are also Japanese or asian? The 3 also have the same pink marks on their cheeks.
Tumblr media
What about Valentino? Would anyone know if he was Hispanic by his design alone? Least be honest, we only know he is Hispanic because he has a few lines of Spanish, his accent, and background music. Adam is basically based off Alex Brightman.

Hazbin Hotel - COULD Adam Come Back As A Sinner?
Tumblr media
(Note - this is NOT meant to pressure anyone on Hazbin Hotel to include or exclude Adam from future seasons. DO NOT USE THIS TO HARASS ANYONE INTO DOING ANYTHING WITH ADAM!!!!! BE BETTER THAN THE VOLTRON FANBASE!!!!!!! These are just all the points that could support or disprove Adam returning next season, compiled by a very bored person who’s suffering from a terrible case of Alex Brightman brainrot.)
Evidence supporting Adam being gone forever:
Perma-death has been established many times in Helluva Boss & Hazbin Hotel.
We see Adam’s dead body on screen. He doesn’t get dragged away to an uncertain fate, or die off-screen - we get to watch Niffty put lots of new holes in his vital organs (or where his vital organs would be if he still had any - how exactly DOES Angel physiology work?)
Adam was stabbed many times with Angelic Steel, which is supposed to be the ultimate weapon & guarantees perma-death. Maybe. It’s Kryptonite for Princes of Hell & puts down imps & demons, and is the only substance that harms angels.
Adam’s very much a Baby’s First Boss Fight. The practice baddy the heroes defeat in the first season before facing more nuanced, terrifying threats in future seasons. Like Zhao in Avatar the Last Airbender, or Nightmare Moon in My Little Pony. And next season promises to do some interesting stuff with Lute, Sera, and possibly Lilith as primary antagonists.
Adam’s kind of the worst. He has his fans, don’t get me wrong, and there’s something intriguing about such a major asshole. But I wonder how many folks like Adam for Adam, and how many like Adam because Alex Brightman’s having a ton of fun voicing him.
Evidence supporting Adam’s return as a Sinner
Dramatic Irony. Adam spent all of Season 1 dumping on Hell & its citizens, made his mark as the leader of the Exorcists, and has a whole villain song about how “Hell is Forever.” Imagine how he would feel to find himself trapped in Hell with all the other Sinners.
While perma-death DOES exist in Helluva Boss & Hazbin Hotel, the folks who HAVE died were demons, imps, Hell Hounds, angels, and sinners who made no effort to redeem themselves prior to biting it. The majority of which were never human and, presumably, never had souls. But Adam was a human - The FIRST Human, as he’s always bragging, and therefore has a soul. Just as Sir Pentious’s sacrifice led to his soul being redeemed enough to get him into Heaven, maybe Adam being killed by Niffty for all of HIS sins would land his soul in Hell to think about everything he’s done.
If Sir Pentious is going to be in Season 2, it means Alex Brightman will still be part of the cast. So if he’s recording for Pentious & background vocals, it’s not TOO big of a lift to have him record for Adam.
We haven’t had proper introductions to Lilith or Eve yet. It might be interesting to see how they interact with their first husband. Watching Lucifer heckle Adam before beating the crap out of him was entertaining - I’m kind of curious to see what Adam’s exes have to say about him.
If a Sinner getting into Heaven would shake things up, imagine how much chaos would ensue if folks found out they could be cast out of Heaven for being hypocritical jerks.

redesigning net Navis
Tumblr media
For brightman, I combined both the OG design, his classic design and added a bit of doc ock to match the plug and wire theming. Kept the goggles and green color.
Tumblr media
it seems like they wanted to make bubble man cute but I don’t think they hit the mark. I made him smaller, added a bubble blower to the top of his head, harpoon launchers on both of his arms and of course, redesigned the face
Tumblr media
This one was tough to redesign but I went back to his classic design a bit and added in the detached limbs from the net navi design. I also added a staff and the dark fire from pharaoh man’s official art work

Garahirn Grimtotem
Tumblr media
Born to Grimtotem warriors, the Tauren was raised by the tribe on a dogma of hatred and violence. He spent his days carrying materials for the tribes smiths as they fashioned weapons of war, and his nights falling asleep to the battle stories of the tribes raiders. Despite the brawny physique the calf sported as a result of constantly lifting ingots and anvils, he showed little aptitude for combat. In all of his training he was berated for his clumsy footwork and his weak sword-arm. The most concerning issue for the tribes Elders though was the child’s lack of killer instinct. In all of the calves sparring rounds he would fail to press any advantage he would win, preferring instead to hang back and prepare his defensives for a counter attack. For a tribe built on the belief of supremacy over others, this was a problem. For years the tribes warriors would work with the child, impressing the importance of aggression in pursuit of the tribes goals, but one by one they resigned from tutoring him, frustrated and enraged by the youths lack of drive and assertiveness.
Deemed a liability in combat he was assigned permanently to the role of blacksmithing; a position afforded great honour for a battle-hardened elder, but great shame for one as young as he. Thus Garahirn spent the early ears of his adolescence under the tutelage of Elder Kwahrol, who though the subject of a great many battle songs, was weary of violence and grateful for the company. For 3 long years he worked to melt down and reforge the metals that the raiders returned with. He ignored the disdainful looks they shot him and focused on cladding them in the highest quality equipment he could forge.
In his 14th winter a famine gripped the tribe, leading to infighting and unrest within the Grimtotem. Several Elders were supplanted by young upstarts dissatisfied with their efforts to provide for the community. This new regime brought with it a cleansing of those deemed superfluous by the leadership. Elder Kwahrol knew that this did not bode well for the smithing pair and though he didn't voice these concerns to Gara, he crafted a plan to spare him. The youth was sent on a mining expedition to the eastern edge of Mulgore. Though this was not an uncommon excursion for him, the location Kwahrol directed him to was not one Gara had visited before. Knowing better than to question the Elders instructions, he set out immediately armed with a pickaxe, buckler and knapsack. He never made it to his destination. As he approached the area marked on his map he was accosted by a group of Thunder Bluff Braves. They hauled him back to the city where the guards searched his knapsack. Within they found a strange letter.
"Whomever finds this young calf I beg you spare him. Though he was born a Grimtotem, he was never meant for this life. He was blessed with a gentle soul that no amount of training was able to break. He harbours a great love for smithing and the crafting of fine metal works. Our tribe has suffered greatly this season and I'm sure the Elders will not suffer him much longer with our sparse resources. If able to I ask that you look past the sins of our tribe and take him into your care."
--
And so it was that Garahirn was welcomed, despite his heritage, into the myriad tribes of the Horde Tauren. He quickly established himself as one of the foremost smiths in Thunder Bluff and spent countless hours discussing techniques with artisans of all professions. Before long he had his own forge and was sought after for projects of all sizes. One such request came from Aponi Brightmane. The head of the newly formed Sunwalkers, Brightmane entered his smithy to request the creation of arms for order. Behind the paladin, shuffled a young calf no older than he. She wore her hair in a braid on her right flank and as she looked at Garahirn with her piercing azure eyes, she gasped audibly. It may have been her exclamation, or that Gara felt he had never seen a more beautiful Tauren, but whatever the reason, he tripped, spilling the half dozen scabbards that he was carrying across the tent floor. As he gathered up the results of his clumsiness, he heard the two women exchanging hushed whispers.
"Him? Are you sure?" "Yes mother. I'm certain. It's almost as bright as yours" "I see"
The elder of the two women strolled over and offered Garahirn her hand. He took it, meekly as she explained the exchange.
"I had come to find the craftsman I'd heard worked here, said to produce great works the like of which are rare even in the great cities of the elves. It seems I've found something more." She paused, regarding the youth slowly. "My daughter has a gift. She is able to see the aura of those blessed by the children of The Earth Mother; be it Mu'sha, or in your case, An'she. While most of our people bare some level of connection to both, a few are afforded something far more incredible."
Gara looked from Aponi to her daughter, not quite sure what the former was talking about, but certain that her child was, as she said, incredibly special.
Aponi bade him come with them to the heart of their order and while he was reticent to leave his forge, something from within told him that he needed to see what she had to offer.
Over the following years the young Grimtotem learned of a The Earth Mother, An'she, and the order of Sunwalkers that drew upon his power. Aponi's daughter Hunadi had not been wrong in her assessment, and he found that channelling An'she's power came as naturally as swinging a smithing hammer. With it he could craft weapons and shields from pure light and wield them in combat. With practice he found that he could also infuse the light of An'she into all of his crafting, affording the metal he worked with incredible strength and flexibility. Using these armaments, Gara found a new confidence in battle beyond anything his tribe had been able to impart upon him. Though he was more competent as a bulwark against attack, in time he was able to provide something of an offense, and before long he was accompanying other Sunwalkers on excursions away from the orders halls.
As much as he enjoyed his newfound confidence, he was always eager to return to his forge and to Hunati Brightmane, a friend with whom he had grown incredibly close. By day the two youths spent countless hours sitting in his forge, talking on everything from their studies to their favourite cuisine. By night they would lay under the gaze of Mu'sha, watching her glint with the reflected light of her brother, talking at length about their plans and the adventures they hoped to embark on. Before long the two of them were inseparable and a badly hidden romance began to blossom.
By the time the Sunwalkers departed for Pandaria in an attempt to quell the Sha's destructive rampage, the two had promised themselves to each other. They fought against the emotional emanations of this new land in perfect harmony, protecting each other and striking against their foes in equal measure. Garahirn found himself particularly resilient to Sha influence, likely owing to the same inner strength that failed to break his spirit during the long years of Grimtotem dogma. Hunadi did not find resisting as natural but spent many hours in quiet contemplation of the Earth Mothers wisdom to prevent undue influence.
As the Horde offensive continued and the sickness that festered within its leadership grew, the Sunwalkers became a beacon of tranquillity and reason amid a storm of vitriol and chaos. Many horde combatants found themselves drawn to the group, especially those of Tauren heritage. To aid in the curbing of negative emotions the Order of the Earth Mother held numerous services and held many celebrations and festivals. Frequently the merriment would extend far into the night, and it was on one such evening that the couple discussed the taking vows of bonding. They had discussed the idea before of course, but it had always seemed like a far-off concept. Now, beneath the swaying boughs of the strange flora in this foreign land, they could think of nothing they wanted more than to pledge to one another and set about creating a life for themselves.
Within a month, the ceremony was held and while the resulting party lasted for several days, it was nought compared to the lifetime of joy that lay before them. The two continued to adventure alongside one another for many years, facing all manner of foes, and exploring ever more exotic lands. No matter how far their journeys took them, they always returned to their home in the Krasarang Wilds, and it was in their hovel on an otherwise unremarkable warm spring morning that the two welcomed their firstborn into the world. Looking upon the newborn, Kuoth Kwahrol Brightmane, was the single greatest joy that either had ever experienced. As they clutched the babe between them, they swore to safeguard the child above all else and to continue to fight for the betterment of the world he would inherit.
Tumblr media
Beem
Named by Garahirn's son for the shafts of light that shine into his forge, Beem was a small doll crafted by a merchant in Thunder Bluff and gifted to the lad by his father. Despite his protests, the sunwalkers boy insisted that he take it with him as his duties took him far from home. Seeing the warmth and love in the childs eyes, An'she formed a simulacrum of the toy and granted it life. It is that creation that follows Garahirn as he roams, a constant reminder of the young calf waiting for him to return.

Happy Birthday, Mark Butcher! The English cricket player and commentator was Sarah's partner in the BBC's reality-competition show "Just The Two Of Us" in 2007.

Note
Tim Curry voicing King Boo would be cool, however I personally would want Alex Brightman to voice King Boo. The prospect of Beetlejuice's Broadway actor voicing King Boo is funny to me
Okay! Poll time everybody!

Ranking the songs in Hazbin Hotel
(this is my first post on tumblr omg hi)
I'm gonna put the songs from least to most favorite with some reasons. It's gonna be a VERY long first I think this is gonna piss some people off and I'm sorry 😭
#16: Hell's Greatest Dad
(this is gonna be the one that pisses people off) I have a BIAS against this song. Something about it rubs me the wrong way, especially when Alastor comes in and starts singing. The lyrics are uncharacteristically... well... lame? The rhyme of "one" and "nun" in the beginning just feels like low hanging fruit. Overall, I think I've just heard it too many times and just found too many things to complain about. 😭
#15: Out For Love
I think it could've been better conveyed. It's a bitch to get stuck in your head and I'm not a huge fan of the lyrics, although I'm not complaining about Carmilla with her hair down. 🤭
#14: Respectless
Okay, I actually do love this one, I just love all of the Hazbin songs so this one got bumped a lot. I love the intro with Carmilla bursting in out of nowhere and telling her off. It got so low because of the social media lines, I know this is nitpicky but there a little meh. Love it though, I sing this one around the house a lot.
#13: Happy Day In Hell
This one's definitely slept on because one, it's the first song, and two, there's just so many bangers. This is a perfect first song, ESPECIALLY since later on it gets woven into the bigger moments in later songs. Gold.
#12: You Didn't Know
This is ALSO gonna piss some people off, but I assure you it's placed this low because I've heard it too many damn times 😭 Other than that, A-tier song, I love Sera.
#11: Welcome to Heaven
Putting welcome to heaven ABOVE you didn't know is gonna seem like I'm trying to piss people off at this point, but I have a bias and that is St. Peter. I will not elaborate. Also, it's really fun and tickles my brain.
#10: Hell is Forever
Adam's VOICEEEE 😩 I love Alex Brightman so much, the guitar solo is immaculate, and who doesn't love a good "trying to suck the whimsy out of the main character" song.
#9: More than Anything (Reprise)
I have no idea why people hate this one so much, it's so cute. I love the little twinkles in the background. Chaggie is adorable and their harmonies are SO good. Doesn't beat the original, though.
#8: Loser, Baby
I know, this one's a little low. It's at the halfway mark, so that's gotta count for something. I love it, huskerdust being cuties and Keith David being an eargasm is gold. It's just not as good as so many of the songs, it lacks the emotion everything above it does.
#7: Poison
Incredible. Absolutely immaculate and heartbreaking. I would put this at the top, I really would, but as a theatre kid I have a bias for harmonies. It's heartbreaking yet an amazing depiction that just shows how brutal it can be sometimes.
#6: More Than Anything
I found myself bumping this one down more than I wanted to honestly. It's lovely. Jeremy Jordan is heartbreakingly fatherly, and Charlie and him coming to their senses and working things out brings tears of joy to my eyes. Also, their harmonies are amazing. Sometimes my sibling and I sing them lmao
#5: It Starts With Sorry
I will defend this song 'till my dying breath. It's got harmonies, it's got cuteness, and I am very fond of Sir. Pentious. I don't know how somebody could hate it, it's so wholesome and sweet and genuinely a good message.
#4: Stayed Gone
This one. Omfg. Vox and Alastor are some of the most dopamine inducing characters on the planet. Hearing them bicker is my life. I love Vox's articulate and intense voice, and I love Alastor's shamelessness in his petty-ness. Him saying "That's the tea" was groundbreaking. Also, seeing Alastor's big ass demon form was as horrifying as it was the greatest thing ever. I love Alastor being a weird eldritch horror monster thing so much.
#3: Ready for This
I didn't expect this one to get so high, but as I was thinking about it I realized just how much I adore it. Charlie being... Charlie and singing from the heart and then transitioning into a bouncy showtune... chefs kiss. I love the cannibals singing together in response- something about it just tickles my brain. Also, Alastor's little vocalizations scratch an itch deep within me.
#2: The show must go on / Finale
AJKLFJDKLJFLDSFN If I talked about this one for as long as I wanted to, this post would be longer than Tumblr itself. The way it starts with the Sir Pentious sign was so sad, and Charlie's heartbreaking vocals are perfect. "This bloodshed could've been avoided" might be the best thing ever. Then it goes to Lucifer triggering my daddy issues. (thanks.) Obviously the Vees killed it with their little bit. (I love Vox) Then, we have Alastor having a giant musical mental breakdown because he accidently gave a fuck, which was as sad as it was hilarious.
#1: Whatever it Takes
HOOOOOLY SHITTTTTTT I love this song. The way Zestial starts it (big on the relationship between carmilla and zestial they're married because i said so) with his incredible vocals, and then Carmilla breaking into this absolute power ballad. Vaggie's voice is great too, I love her soft voice a lot going with Carmilla's powerful one. Also, and I know I've said it a lot, THE HARMONIESSSSSS UGHH
Hope you enjoyed the infodump of me giving my opinion that no one asked for <3
