You know a big reason why I think I love Ameripan so much? They both low key suck at romance.

I can imagine during a meeting one day they hold hands but they hold them completely wrong. And Francis is just watching them across the table like “Mon Dieu, they have no idea what they’re doing.”

They try to go on a dinner date at a fancy restaurant and are both like “eh…” But they regularly have dates that consist of them sitting on the couch playing Mario Kart together for hours and they have the best time.

Alfred watches his cheesy Hollywood romance movies and Kiku watches his romance animes so they think they know how romance works. And they probably try to pull the tropes on eachother all the time. But they’re both so awkward and they both fail miserably.

Not to mention how oblivious Alfred is to flirting, and how nervous Kiku would be to flirt. Like Kiku finally builds up to courage to flirt and it just completely flies over Alfred’s head. Alfred just stares at him with those blank blue eyes and that stupid little smile.
