Sunday को नहीं दिखा सके, सो अब दिखा रहे हैं : ये स्नेह ये आपका आदर सदा स्मरणीय रहेगा ।

... and the everlasting affection from all those that come even in inclement weather is a boon that shall never be forgotten .. you are so I am ..

... and the work schedules continue .. early calls and early starts and at times an early finish .. but the traffic on the return journey makes the time saved as waived ..

however the time spent on the floor of KBC was special .. almost a poetic symposium of recitations and the understanding of each verse , both from the contestant and the one that presses the black squares now ..

you are the ones that 'make the show' , is something that I repeat and live each day on the sets .. it is the truth ..

I am so humbled by the affection and love .. may I continue to be worthy of such love ..

Sunday came and is now on its ending .. but the apprehension of the well wishers as always was amazing and the gifts distributed of T-shirts and Umbrellas, per very favour of dea fan Sunil Shah from Surat , simply so thoughtful and endearing ..

I work again early tomorrow .. so shall not say much .. but if I can I shall ..

but what perseveres is the effort to continue ..

so we trundle along .. hurdling over the obstacles that bare our approach in the barriers they construct for us to hold back ..

in the end , if there is one, there shall be just one opinion and one judgement .. that may be final or in the process of getting final .. and that shall ever be respected ..

laws were made to straddle society into the belt of a rummaging horse rodeo .. and then society came to terms ..

.. and still the questions arose in even greater concern ..

but life without questions would be LIFELESS !

but .. be in the aware that it has but one presence ..

I have extracted myself from the traffic .. and in my solitudinous avatar express that which the mind in rest dictates ..

It dictates .. get to bed .. retire and recover .. for tomorrow is another day .. another call .. another opportunity .. to learn to live to get by ..

Did any of you ever know that India had a Women's Ice Hockey Team .. and that at the recent Asian Games they won the Bronze ..

What a surprise and the most honoured moment to be with the entire team on KBC .. and to learn of their journey and the hardships they face and faced ..

But NEVER say NEVER to lady .. they shall prove you wrong ..

No one believed this Team and they proved it ..

.. and more of this on the show when it broadcasts ..

.. this love can never be forgotten .. how why and what makes them come I have never been able to understand ..

when the time comes at the Sunday evenings at 5:30 pm at GOJ - the Gates of Jalsa, and the office and security call and inform me all is ready to come down .. I wonder and shake with apprehension as to whether there shall be anyone there or not .. and as I climb the steps to face them , the reassurance grips my body and the reactions all come with the provocation of the cheers from all to steady my nerves .. and then love and admiration takes over .. the regulars , the ones across the street on the roofs, the dedicated Ef that at times one misses and the feeling of remorse .. I wonder what and why they did not come .. am I too common and unwanted .. are they fed up of this 5 , 10 min appearance for the ones that have gathered from the afternoon to get vantage positions .. why and what ..

I have no answers .. just the will to reciprocate and in that short time to acknowledge the effort made by the well wishers ..

I sit up late tonight .. for tomorrow is another off day .. but some important recordings to do for occasions that are of importance for friends , is on the cards .. else an early meal and to bed to try to change the routines and seek the difference ..

the early to bed and rise is not just a metaphor .. it works ..

It's just that now the routines programmed for the day are hounded by the routines of medication and essentials to be done .. get the pranayaam - प्राणायाम - the mild yoga , right .. do the mobility at the gym to be able to walk the talk and talk the walk .. to get the balances right .. the body gradually begins to loose its balance and there is a need to work on it to check and improve ..

Some routines that were there earlier , seem to suggest that because it was done some years ago, it shall be a cake walk to initiate them again..

NAH .. no baby ..

Just one days absence and the pains and the mobility goes for a very long walk ..

🤣

it is a wonder that the normal actions, earlier, now require the mind to think before they can be exercised ..

simple acts .. putting on the trousers ..

the Doctors advise please Mr Bachchan, sit down and wear them .. do not try to stand while you put them on , you could lose balance and fall ..

And inside I sort of smile in disbelief .. until I find they were so right .. that simple act that came so naturally earlier is now governed by a selective routine ..

Handle bars ..

Oh boy .. !!!!

you need them all over to hold and steady thy body before any physical act .. just the simplest of them being bending down to pick up that piece of paper that had flown off your desk with the breeze ..

Seriously ..

The bravado tells you to go ahead .. until you realise .. goodness , its a major problem .. the rapidity of its performing has slowed down with uncertainty ..

readers of this shall have a small smirk and a hidden laugh at all that I express ..

BUT ..

dearest dears .. may none of you may have to go through this .. but let me tell you ..

IT SHALL HAPPEN .. TO ALL OF US ..

I wish it does not .. but in time it shall ..

We all go downward the day we are brought into this World .. the down trend begins at birth ...

Sad .. but it is the reality of living and life ...

Youth races through life's challenges with aplomb ..

Age .. suddenly speed brakes your vehicle and tells you, apply the brakes to avoid the accelerated bump when you drive the vehicle of LIFE ..

Oh dear ! far too philosophical ..

But philosophy is the marked subject of profound featuring, that eventually takes over ..

You may have the courage to fight it for a while .. but eventually, sadly, we shall all lose ..

A loss worth loosing ..

ये महान दृश्य है चल रहा मनुष्य है ;

अश्रु स्वेद रक्त से लथ पथ, लथ पथ, लथ पथ ;

अग्निपथ, अग्निपथ, अग्निपथ !!!!

न जाने क्यों आज ब्लॉग लिखने बैठे - की पूज्य बाबूजी की ये पंक्तियों का स्वर, अनायास होठों से निकल पड़ा !!!

Chants that bear the divinity of the divine .. have empowered the mind and the heart to throb in consonance with the seraphic, saintly possessiveness of our being ..

And as we age the body begins to wonder of its existence .. of the existence of the Universe .. of where and how we are and where we shall eventually go ..

And the more you listen and learn and imagine and research, the greater the puzzle .. an unsolvable puzzle ..

The puzzle called LIFE ..

Embroiled in the Black Hole of the Universe , that now is being discovered through science and technology that , that is not the ultimate hemispheric boundary, but the beginning perhaps of millions more, such , our intrigue gathers greater uncertainty and ambivalent ambiguity ..

Lost and unable to reach conclusion, we give up and ..

Place it in the gracious hands of the most assured entity in the vocabulary of the human :

GOD !

And the other vocabulary takes over :

BELIEF !

The invention of the very word 'belief' is a believing that 'belief' perhaps itself cannot believe !!

Humanity shall survive and breathe on FACT ..

Abhishek you are the pride and honour of the family .. you fly the flag that Dada ji established , and have carried it through with valour and hard work .. consistency, never giving in , and an attitude of :

we sit on the hot seat and meet and confront the contestants that have ambitious hopes of winning during the week of their stay on the floor ..

and when they cannot make it , it's the hardest to control the frustration of defeat and lost opportunity .. for them yes , but for me as well ..

it is emotionally shattering to their tears swell up as they find the week over , the Hooter played and the need to come and play , for whatever personal reasons , goes missing ..

no amount of consolation at the time can give them solace and understanding .. the need for some is crucial , the opportunity for some who have sacrificed their study or job opportunities to be at the FF and then the main chair to play and WIN, lost ..

difficult to face such moments ..

but what can be done .. a smile of 'try again' .. a word of encouragement that all shall be fine .. loss is not the end of life .. its a learning and adheres to :

मन का हो तो अच्छा; ना हो तो ज़्यादा अच्छा

but few subscribe to this and that is heartbreaking ..

but as they say the show goes on ..

you come away thinking of not the winner and his expertise and knowledge , but the one that tried and lost ..

life is a tough job ..

.. a bit early for the post for the Blog .. but a day off today so wish to complete all pending work and then catch up on other work and essentials ..

the days at the 25th year of KBC continue .. the audience reactions in the glorious sets are encouraging .. some media friends express that my look has changed and that I should look into that and rectify it ..

Am trying to do that .. to the best I can for my age .. Till then your applause and love keeps me running in and forms the impetus needed and the encouragement needed for me to conduct what I have been doing for the past 23 years .. !

hahaha .. merely imitating the excitement of the contestant after she wins the 'Jaldi 5'

Each day a memory and the memory lasts the entire day - have I connected with the Blog or not .. and then suddenly the first matter you attend to is the fact of writing ..

Once the ritual of its writing is done the entire day draws on ..

So back to work after the Sunday meet with the fans .. they were yesterday a bit subdued I felt, except the devoted dedicated ones ..

Could be the delay in the time or that the evening draws a bit dark with it , and it seems to be getting too late .. but its the weather .. the dark clouds being in the shades ..

shall see if the gates can be done slightly early so the fans do not have to wait long ..

Waiting .. helps ..

Work continues ..

.. and running in to work .. by the grace of the unknown forces of nature .. and divinity ..

time and circumstances move on .. they never stop for anyone .. as never they should .. they shall be there in prominence, disturbing circumstances .. and the learning of them even this late in life is after all a learning .. that should never stop ..

It may seem odd .. it may seem as though there is no need for it .. but the advice given is never ignore opportunity to learn .. when it may be required for situations one never knows .. lamenting does not help in the duration of the crisis .. what helps is the know of the how and when and where .. irrespective of the end result .. for even the end results are never really the end .. something or the other shall crop up .. either to be dealt with , or to succumb to it ..

Succumb is at times the option taken .. take it and finish the matter .. or fight it out .. at least you fought .. and the Award in School Sherwood always keeps reminding me of the boxing ring and fighting a stronger adversary and coming out as a .. 'plucky loser' than just a loser ..

Does one ever really win in life .. I wonder ..

aaah .. the delight is simply beyond the divine .. if ever there was such space ..

leave everything .. leave and be behind the chords of the soul .. they be the purest and beyond ..
