the main side effect ive had since my food poisoning a week ago is gastroperesis, which is like a short term/temp semi paralysis of the stomach muscles that push food forward into the intestines. and it is SOOOOOOOO annoying. like mentally and in my tastebuds i am so hungry and want to eat 10000 things but in my stomach i eat like a small bowl of applesauce and then. cannot eat anything else for 4-8 hours bc it makes me Uncomfortably Full and if i overdo it i throw up bc my stomach simply won't digest/make room for anything more. but its FINALLY been improving in the last 2 days and i think i can make the freezer pizza i got on sale and have been craving since sunday and eat at least 3 pieces before i want to die again and by god im going to do it

Writing lore for the dndads dance moms au that only me and my one mutual are being crazy about is lowkey so hard because it's just so many characters and like 3-4 generations for each family till now. I'm in the middle of the oak family and figuring out how the twins end up in the studio is melting my brain. It's so many moving parts. and I want them in the studio because it reminds me of when all the kiddads were held captive together by Omega dad's in s1. And are locked in with willy again as adults. So them being there in the studio as kids and then having to be there again as adults and then being trapped by the tv contract is alluding to that.

So in like few minutes we’re gonna have 2023 here in Poland

... and what a year 2022 was. I mean for the world, but also for me personally.

Like, I’m 30. So I’m older. Oh well...

Then, there are stuff that happened to my family (some really serious shit), like something taken out of a movie, not real life. Maybe one day I’m gonna talk about it, right now - definitely not.

Also, if you follow me, you know I lost my job (English teacher at the bilingual kindergarten) at the end of May, which frankly... was a good thing. I mean the way my previous boss told me she was not gonna prolong the contract was shitty af to say the least, but in the grand scheme of things, I wasn’t happy in that job - not only did I feel it just wasn’t for me, but also the atmosphere at that specific workplace was also quite unpleasant, I could talk more about it (also the fact how much Schadenfreude I feel when I hear about my boss’s businnes troubles is concerning, but I digress).

So from September I’ve been employed at the language school and it’s nice (at least the colleagues are, the bosses are also okay, but there are different issues with them I might talk about), but I don’t suppose I wanna continue the cooperation - I just wanna try something different, seeing as teaching is nice, but definitely not my dream job.

Which brings me to different topic - I wanna broaden my skill set, but I know it takes time and perseverance (and money).

Was there any good stuff that happened?

I REACHED MY WEIGHT GOAL!!!! I AM NO LONGER OBESE!!! I AM NOT EVEN OVERWEIGHT!!! I FINALLY AM IN MY NORMAL RANGE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!!

IS THAT TOO MUCH CAPS LOCK - FUCK IT, I DON’T CARE!!!

I NEVER IN MY LIFE WOULD’VE IMAGINED I WOULD WEAR SIZE 38  (8 IN THE US) - I WOULD’VE BEEN ECSTATIC IF I WAS 40 (10 IN THE US)!

BUT LIKE ON THURSDAY MY JEANS CAME SIZE 36 (6 IN THE US) AND THEY FIT FINE!

AND THE KICKER IS I REACHED IT IN MAY.

WHICH MEANS I MAINTAINED IT FOR OVER HALF A YEAR.

SO EXCUSE ME IF I AM A BIT TOO HAPPY ABOUT IT!

well, jen, you stood at the door and said goodbye, right in the middle of our conversation. and a second later - that door was gone. left me alone between four walls you had constructed with your very hands, but i can't blame you - who took the door away? we'd never know what leaves us trapped in loneliness, but i have so many questions. so many - i mean, forget about the why, jen. what did you have for breakfast? did you listen to coldplay on the train again, and did isaac tell you that he loved you that day? was it him, or was it me? never mind, i told you to forget about the why. is there even a why? me? i'm figuring it out. it took me a while, and i found a crack in the walls. i'm squeezing myself out. when i'm free and breathing, maybe i'd have pizza today, jen. you know, i remember you everytime i have a margharita. not because you like it, but because you called it the basic bitch of pizza. i remember you laughing at your own joke, so much so that i smiled. so thank you for that last conversation, jen. i won't see you on the other side yet, but i'm slowly getting over to this side, where i belong.

My friend, here’s a tip that you should take into adulthood, honestly: Group fund. With your besties, choose a reliable treasurer, and everyone puts any pocket money etc they might get over the course of a month, say, into the fund- aka the mason jar- and put that towards a delivery of food, maybe some sweets, a discoball if you want, or a group cinema trip.

This works only if you’re all honest,but we’re not here to breed cynicism.

Frozen pizza is usually cheaper, and you can get a margharita and spruce it up yourself

You can get creative with what you have in the kitchen… and what your parents’ allow. Pool your skills as a team
