ok so I was nine. orrr ehhh eight but most likely nine. that's really important (no). I just read that hunter's dog book, I have no idea what's the name, the main character is this dog named Lucky but whatever I never liked him anyway. I was in the WC fandom first and that jazz, but that was roleplay, no fanfiction. THEN I got to these dog books and THAT'S where it started

long story short i got so angry at this half-wolf alpha guy that i inserted my first ever OC (Stormfur) which was a heavy sort-of-self-insert-but-a-lil-bit-nooooot-butmostlyaselfinsert as a female wolf even though they were first a male cat, this shit is still hilarious to me see the tags where I humiliate myself by confusing myself by my own first ever OC

anyway (I and) Stormfur got SO angry at this half-wolf guy that IIRC they had a fight, like a physical confrontation, she pinned him down because something something wolf fight better than dog (or anyone with any amount of dog blood in them which sounds REALLY weird rn), and gave him a DRAMATIC LECTURE on LEAVE! BEHAVE OR LEAVE FOREVER! OR I WILL FIND YOU! AND I WILL KILL YOU! and he RAN OFF bc I was that smart.

and then either SHE left TOO or became the new alpha? but I don't think so bc I never liked being in power, and she was a self-insert? or she made that beta borzoi girl the new alpha? or some another background OC of mine? which, if that was that beta borzoi girl, really shows WHY I turned out a lesbian.

OH MY GOD AND I ALSO WROTE IT IN A .TXT FILE ON MY MOMS PC. LIKE THE FILE WAS RIGHT ON THE FUCKING DESKTOP. I SEE THE IMAGE IN MY BRAIN 'TIL THIS DAY

Speaking as a HUGE VA fan here, it's expressed in 10-year anniversary edition of VA that Christian was born sometime in between Christmas and Thanksgiving, like around the opening week of December. In my head, Christian's birthday is probably December 2nd or something ^^

ooh that's interesting. I've actually been going through and making my own digital copies of all the VA short stories lol and I have one left to do so it must be mentioned in that one since I don't remember seeing that.

I do find that odd though because I'm sure it's also mentioned somewhere by RM that Dimitri was a Sagittarius? Those characters could not be more different lmaoooooo
