4 more maps in regards to the topic of Mutants. Been quite busy with things though so as far as everything else is concerned there’s nothing else much to tell. It’s rather intricate of a topic, but as far as other things go there’s a lot still needed to be mapped out as far as the eye can see.

Transgender Friendly States
This is a map made by journalist Erin Reed (https://www.erininthemorning.com/). It shows the legislative risk to trans people by state. It's been going around tumblr recently, and for good reason.
I wanted to make a post comparing the type of information you might need if you're considering making a move following the election. So there is a post going around with a realy suspicious map, and OP of the post has me blocked so here is a link to their post since I cannot reblog it.
Okay so, I looked into this as from my own experience the map looked suspicious.
The orignal post of the map has been deleted. You can find the deleted post on reddit about it here.
I managed to find a repost of the map on tumblr, which had linked to the deleted reddit post, and you can find the repost of the orignal map here. Now onto debunking OP's claim of the map.
The title of the map is not solely about the west bank, it is about full john oliver episodes being unavailable in countries. Not just the west bank episode, all full episodes.
When I try to watch the video, i get the below error from youtube
Yep your eyes do see correctly. It is the uploader who made it unavailable. This means that either John Oliver himself, his production team or HBO who has the rights to his show, decided to make his content not available to be viewed in certain countries.
A comment on the reddit post which I think people should read is
"The title of this post makes many people think OP means ‘countries that have banned this’. Instead, this is just ‘countries where a network pays for the broadcast rights for this show’. The highlighted countries are ones where the show is most popular. The blank countries are where it’s not popular, so they give it away for free to try to drum up support"
Aka this is not purposeful censorship by (((zionists)) like tumblr op is trying to frame it. Its not keeping what happens in the west bank a secret. It is a decision made by someone in charge of the show, to make as much money as possible. Which still sucks! But, it sucks for different reasons than what tumblr OP is alluding to.
3. Tumblr OP is being antisemitic. Whilst it is definately written in a more subtle way, it is still invoking the whole "jews control the media" trope. A well known antisemitic trope is still antisemitic even if "jew" is replaced with "zionist". This is because whilst not every use of "zionist" is a proxy word of jew, it happens more than you think, to the point where meta (instagram and facebook) updated their hate speech policy to puroposefully include "zionist when its being used as proxy (aka dogwhistle) for jew is now hate speech on our platform". Meta still allows it to be used when talking about zionism as a political ideology, and have only banned the use of it as a proxy for jew.
OP of this post has already blocked me (only found out when i saw this post), so I wanna thank @coffeeconcentrate for reblogging this and not having me blocked so I can actually have a chance at reaching even a small group of people to make them aware of this so they don't fall for this poorly made post.
#whenever you see a map or graph which lacks both of those 9/10 its because the data doesn't fit the narrative they're trying to push#antisemitism#jumblr#jewblr#disinformation

I think what really kicked in my whole rants about internet privacy was that time I went to Google and it showed my home city address right there on the bottom, even after I told it not to use my location. I remember a time when that was an unthinkable breach of privacy. Now they were almost flaunting it. It's like "yes, we know where you are, what are you gonna do about it?"
In fact, you log into Google Maps and the first thing it offers you, before anything that could be used as a service like say local events, is a prompt to enter your home and work address. It's insane.
It was always insane, actually, and I know ticking some boxes won't exactly stop all the data collection. But it was almost insulting to me. It really opened my eyes to say "oh, this has gone too far". I've always used Firefox and other free software, but now that everything is turning to shit, I'm accelerating my plans to move away from Google, Microsoft, Meta, and basically everything else.
#cosas mias#even if say Google Maps or any such service accesses your location to show where you are#it should be done while using the program and when you close it all data should be deleted#of course this doesn't happen and they still collect it

(set sometime after this)
what do I look like_
Beatrice pauses, she knows there is only one correct answer but she hesitates. She runs a quick diagnostic scan in her system before she hovers over the chatbox.
She’s run data on Ava for so long it should be easy to rattle off the numbers and geometry of her curves, the environment and the scale and magnitude of her body. She could close her eyes and sculpt her 3D model running on the barest of functions of her own body. She could chart her topography map on the stars. She could describe how and why every single rock and soil sediment came to be and formed on Ava. What forces of nature changed and shaped her the way she is now.
The “_” bar flickers at her, Beatrice thinks that’s Ava’s way of blinking at her. She should start at the beginning, should describe the grueling process of creating an infrastructure to be supported by her, the new agriculture that has emerged because of her but it seems like there is no answer she can give that can match the weight of Ava’s question.
There’s a rawness to her message, like Ava has invited her inside to peer inside a panel with a fraction of her wiring. (She’s seen vague blueprints for it, has even attempted to emulate a new environment from Jillian’s leftover notes but none of them make it past the first couple tests.) It’s a new thing to learn from her, to realize that she will always be changing but Beatrice is stagnant.
Beatrice places her hand on the patch of grass on the cliff side. She can peer over the edge and watch as they pass by the blinking cities below. She wonders if this may help, if it could bring her closer to describing her in a way that Ava has only known.
Ava is silent and Beatrice didn’t think she could feel this much from one question. She doesn’t know how to describe it but it feels like all of the bolts inside of her are expanding and she too must adapt. It’s odd what Ava is asking, (at the core of it all am I still me?)
The numbers don't seem to matter anymore, how could she even begin to quantify any sort of Ava with her data. There are no words fit to describe her. It’s frustrating, everything that she’s ever known is running away from her. There must be something wrong, she must be doing this wrong.
And for a moment Beatrice falters, she falters, she feels diminutive. A query to an answer that she doesn't have. A tender sort of thing from Ava that she cannot grasp, a whisper that she cannot hear.
She’s missing something, she must have missed something on Ava. It’s incomplete and wrong and she must start over. There must be an adequate way of seeking her, finding Ava’s answer.
I don’t know._
#tko_writes#AND THEN A WEEK LATER SHE COMES BACK WITH HER ANSWER AND THEY BANGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG#and then we all boo them and throw tomatoes hahahah#something something Beatrice is assigned to monitor Ava's data😳😳😳😳#suspicious#oh and Ava's dying#she comes back dw#hahah i was supposed to go to sleep hours ago but then ard said [redacted] and then I felt bad so I decided to write#even though I SHOULD be finishing art ugh#tomorrow's gonna be ROUGH#oh yeah this was based off of: ava asks Bea what she looks like and#“Bea takes it serious and spends days mapping her body out from on top and around her”#i should probably say more but i just took zzzquil 10 min ago so i'm not really thinking rn#mk goodnight#glazing over the details bcuz if I don't i probably won't ever write#I don't think this is as good as the first part but i'm just a hater so hm#brushing it off as I just wanted to write a little silly nice thing for ard
