if you try to buy shoes or a belt these days the product description on the website will be like "a new Premium Vegan Leather made from recycled water bottles and discarded apple skins from the apple juice industry!!!" well i would like it to be made out of discarded cow skins from the cow industry. is that an option.

2024 RECAP
It's that time of the year once again: the end of it. The holiday season is hitting us with its capitalistic drive, cold-ass weather (if applicable), and family love (if applicable)! I'm enjoying my little break from making videos and reflecting on the work I put out in 2024. My video count was much higher than in 2023. But even then, I had a lot more in mind, so much so that I made a cute little MV for patrons in the beginning of the year. Sadly, not everything I considered 'locked in' came to fruition.
But that's okay, because I still came out with some fun videos! The projects I couldn't focus on aren't entirely abandoned, but they'll have to simmer more as I have big plans for 2025. That doesn't necessarily include everything I had in mind for this ending year, but you'll see. With that, let's go over all the videos I managed to create for this channel throughout this year leaving us;
Sonic 3D Retrospective | Onto Adventure
Tumblr media
I have begun a retrospective series on Sonic's post-2D era, as I've always had a passing interest in the franchise.
The point of the video:
I used to be a major poser regarding some Sonic games, most notably blindly hating Adventure 1. This gave me a chance to reevaluate and describe why I love it as an adult today. I also found it interesting how vastly different SA1 and 2 are from each other, so I wanted to explore that as well.
Deadly Individualism: Frog Minutes
Tumblr media
This was my first ever April Fools video, and it was a lot of fun to make! Thanks to an anonymous individual that made Frog Minutes playable via Android emulator, I got to experience a Grasshopper "gem" of sorts myself! I had a great time goofing on it as well as various comments disparaging my work. They motivate me just as much as the rest!
The point of the video:
I wanted to surprise folks as it was a long-running joke about when I'd make a video analysis on Frog Minutes, so I thought it made for a great gag!
Suda51 interview | Talking about Shadows of the Damned
Tumblr media
One of my dreams came true, I got to meet Suda51 and talk to him extensively about his games, mainly Shadows of the Damned! This video pretty much had the entire interview, with added visual context of what we're discussing.
The point of the video:
To live a dream. Suda himself was a very kind man. I also had him sign my copy of Moonlight Syndrome, which he absolutely freaked out about! I don't think anyone has had him sign a copy of that in years, if ever.
I Do NOT Want a Flower, Sun, and Rain Remaster | Prelude Analysis
Tumblr media
Originally part of the full analysis where I would go on an early tangent regarding the nature of video game remakes, I figured it was good enough to warrant its own video, rather than be a somewhat random tangent about game remakes in general.
The point of the video:
I realized I'm not a fan of most game remakes, I think just about all are unnecessary and pretty much always provide a downgraded experience of the original. Even regarding Resident Evil 1 (the go-to "what about-" example), I still prefer playing the original above the remake.
3 videos about Dead Rising Deluxe Remastered
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Initially, I was merely reacting to the news of the original Dead Rising getting a full-on remake, as I figured people would be curious about my thoughts. To my surprise, Capcom recognized my dedication and reached out to me with early access and a free copy! I had to take the opportunity and provide deeper thoughts of my experience.
The point of the videos:
To properly evaluate what I thought of the remake, things that changed, and things that stayed the same. And, of course, to appease Capcom as they did me a solid. I was more than happy to make these videos!
Flower, Sun, and Rain Analysis | Yes Paradise
Tumblr media
Another gigantic analysis video in a game directed by Suda51? Who could have guessed? Unlike my analysis for The Silver Case, this felt less daunting as I found Flower, Sun, and Rain easier to understand. Therefore, I had a great time really dissecting what Suda and the gang were trying to say with it.
The point of the video:
I never gave this game a proper analysis until now. A lot of people think it's just senseless and quirky, but there's actually a lot of great nuance and intrigue. Also, I wanted to describe that its story and structure is eerily close to how No More Heroes 3 was designed and even narrated. Awesome game.
In Here Is a Tragedy | The Silent Hill 2 remake is terrible
Tumblr media
Experiencing the Silent Hill 2 remake was both grueling and gratifying. I felt a near infinite amount of vindication, as nearly all of my suspicions were proven right. The Silent Hill 2 remake is anti-art and anti-thought. Just like with The Medium, the developers did not take this harrowing adventure's centerpiece of severe mental health and trauma seriously. They tried selling an arthouse film like a theme park ride, which is all sorts of disgusting.
The point of the video:
I jokingly sent a request for a review code on Silent Hill 2, and Konami was dense enough to send it to me. I felt obligated to make a review at that point.
Shadows of the Damned | Bygone Era of Third Person Shooters
Tumblr media
Shadows of the Damned received a proper remaster in 2024, making the game available on all current platforms! I wanted to give my thoughts on the port itself, as well as reflecting on this 2011 classic TPS. Also, the fine folks at NetEase sent me a code to review it, which was kind of them.
The point of the video:
Shadows of the Damned represents this era of TPS games that were more arcadey, faster-paced, and fun. I wanted to reflect on how TPS games don't play like it anymore, and why that might be the case.
Iron Meat Review | Finally, a good Contra game
Tumblr media
I was given the opportunity of reviewing Iron Meat, an indie run-n-gun game that's heavily inspired by the Contra series. And, in turn, excels the efforts of current Contra in every single way imaginable.
The point of the video:
Contra is truly dead. Anything official using the name is merely a husk piece of the old game's glory. It's either unrecognizable, or nostalgia-grabbing trite with uninspired design. Retroware has a much better understanding of run-n-gun design than Wayforward, or anyone at Konami. It's sad, but I'm glad the spirit of Contra lives in indie gems such as this!
That's it for now, thank you so much for supporting me! I hope to make more awesome videos in 2025, catch y'all next time, and happy holidays!

Fun fact about us: we really, really like doing crossovers, whether between different Things or just between different AUs of the same Thing. We deeply enjoy throwing things into each other and seeing the relative "normal" interact, tinkering with different potential outcomes of the same general thing, fucking around with culture clash and alternate realities, and all of that fun stuff.
Unfortunately, we also get into flavors of media that isn't quite finished a lot, and we often really want to throw together AUs that we have to write ourself together with things, which means that we're nearly constantly running into the same handful of roadblocks: it's really hard to write about stuff when people have no idea what you're talking about, and it's also really hard to write about stuff when you don't know half of what's going on.
This means that a decent chunk of our writing that is finished tends to stay in drafts - fics based on information that needs to be revealed in stuff we haven't yet written, fics based on media where half of the things we need to know aren't yet revealed in canon, and similar situations easily make up our second most common category of "finished but unpublished" and "finished except for That One Thing" fic (our first most common category is "we need to come up with a decent opening and writing a good hook is hard")
This is, of course, a hell of our own creation. A problem of our own authorship, that we still consistently fail to escape because of our sense of pride and unwillingness to turn out anything that isn't at least half-decent. Similar to the way that we force ourself to reread any media that we write fic of for the sake of accuracy before we can publish it. It makes things take longer, but allows us to ensure quality - though it may hold us back from a certain degree of self-indulgence, mischaracterization is the thing that bothers us most, and if we release a misreading or mischaracterization, that'll haunt us more than any level of soul-baring ever count.
Anyways, all of this is to say that peak self-indulgence for us looks like an isekai Dungeon Meshi/Runaway to the Stars crossover where we stick a handful of characters into the dungeon and let them just kind of cope with that for the forseeable future and the only thing stopping us from doing this is a sense of pride and the fact that Runaway to the Stars doesn't actually have finished & published books right now.

ERP Software for Meat Processors: A Comprehensive Guide for UK Manufacturer
Tumblr media
Meat manufacturing is one of the most complex industries in the food sector not just in the United Kingdom (UK) but globally. If meat is not handled properly, there is a higher risk of infection and diseases – making this industry one of the most sensitive and challenging segments amongst the other food verticals.
Also, there are hiccups related to catch weight calculations, poultry management (in terms of feeding, hygiene, and wellness), perishability, and the complexities of assigning grades and cuts to meat products. Adding more are the health issues related to meat consumption, that often stem from the living conditions of the animals, and any negligence in the supply chain or storage can lead to contamination.
This poses serious risks to consumer health and often raises red flags among regulators. Consequently, meat manufacturers are under constant pressure to comply with industry standards, while navigating intensifying competition, shrinking profit margins, delivering high-quality products, and managing the entire supply chain.    Not to forget, today's consumers are increasingly health-conscious and demand products that meet strict nutritional and safety standards. This puts additional pressure on manufacturers, who not only have to meet these expectations but also face the challenge of accurately conveying all the necessary information on labels and packaging.  But wait, there are more challenges in the basket, such as:
Adhering to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements
Managing raw materials and their shelf life
Ensuring worker safety and hygiene
Managing fluctuating demand for products like beef and pork
Ensuring traceability throughout the production cycle
To effectively tackle these challenges, UK meat manufacturers are increasingly adopting ERP Software for Meat Processors. Meat Processing ERP software can streamline operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold product quality across the production process.
Why Meat Processing ERP is the pressing need for UK Meat Manufacturers
A generic ERP system may fall short when it comes to meeting the unique demands of meat processors but ERP software for meat processors fit best, offering unique capabilities such as:
Inventory Management: Efficiently tracks raw materials, ingredients, co-products, and by-products. It also enables the better organization of inventory using various classification methods such as LIFO, FIFO, and FEFO while maintaining optimal stock levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
Traceability: Monitors the entire journey of a product, from raw material intake to finished goods, ensuring complete traceability. It also helps meet product recall requirements with ease.
Yield and Cost Management: Accurately measures yield, scales production, and tracks costs, enabling manufacturers to optimize profitability by aligning production with demand.
Catch-Weight Functionality: Handles variable weights, ensuring that meat is priced accurately based on its exact weight, providing transparency and accuracy in pricing.
Quality Control: Implements comprehensive quality checks to meet industry standards like HACCP and cGMP. It also enables detailed sample inspections to ensure product quality.
Production: Streamlines the entire production process by optimizing production schedules, reducing downtime, helping monitor work-in-progress (WIP) inventory, tracking production output, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Expiration Tracking: Reduces waste by closely monitoring expiration dates and providing timely alerts when products are approaching their expiry.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with industry-specific standards, including the Products Containing Meat (England) Regulations 2014, Food Information Regulations 2014, and the European Food Information to Consumers Regulation No 1169/2011 (FIC), helping avoid legal risks.
One ERP solution that offers all above stated and more capabilities to the meat industry is BatchMaster ERP. More than just software, it’s a strategic competitive advantage tailored specifically for the unique needs of UK meat processors. It enables them to digitize and optimize their entire supply chain cycle while offering all the capabilities essential to meet Formulation, R&D, Processing, Quality, Compliance, Finance & Accounting, Inventory management, Planning and such needs.
Benefits of Meat ERP Software
Adopting a Meat ERP software offers several benefits to meat manufacturers, including:
Enhanced accountability, predictability, and scalability along with consistent and assured quality products.
Tight control over the costs and increased profit margin.
Unparalleled command over the business processes such as inventory management, production & distribution.
Improved efficiency as well as bottom line.
Consistency in operations.
Informed decision making.
Ability to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
Improved customer service that results in greater customer satisfaction.

I tried the JLM Manufacturing Roasted And Salted Sunflower Seeds Meat and these were pretty good.
This was lightly crunchy, and easy to eat.
This tasted lightly roasted and lightly salty.
These were salty to me.
I would eat these again but with my oatmeal mix.
Got at Gordons.
