i like thinking about how all the versions of frank i know are so gentle with civilians in a certain way. its always "it was my pleasure", "youre safe im not going to hurt you" and "just stay still youre fine" while hes defusing an actual bomb. its always we cant shoot at the strip club because the workers are going to get injured and we cant have that above most else. the punisher is big and scary and kills people without a second thought but if you didnt ask to be there and are just a regular guy wrapped up in situations way beyond you he is also so gentle and its driving me insane

"Do you know where we are going next?" I asked ART.
Y'know what, I think maybe I don't need any more Murderbot books. I think maybe ending things here is fucking perfect and as much as I love Wells's writing I'm genuinely not sure it can get better for me.
Like, so much of the books are about MB learning how to be a person, about becoming okay with being a complete individual with everything it entails. The first thing it does once it's actually allowed to decide on its own is it runs away from it all (admittedly to go on a mission to confirm some things about its past, because it genuinely just wants to be *good*). It shoves all its emotions away as much as it's able to. Then shit happens, and it makes its first friends, makes decisions based on these friendships, goes through a lot of emotionally intense situations...
And we get to this point here. MB having zero doubts about going with ART says a lot about its relationship with ART, but it also says a lot about its relationship with its humans - it knows that wherever it goes, when it comes back, the humans will still be there. Its humans actively acknowledge its struggles with being a now-free SecUnit and MB is willing to entertain the discussions to an extent and share information about its deeply personal experiences. Hell, System Collapse ends with MB admitting it might be somewhat broken, but that's okay as long as it can keep doing its job, and agreeing to basically do counselling - this is the guy what would rewatch its favourite TV show again and again in order to avoid acknowledging it even had Emotions a couple books back.
Reading this, I know that MB will be okay. It has hopes and goals and genuinely believes in itself and it has an amazing support system that its willing to lean on for the first time in its life. I'm convinced it'll go on to do great things with ART. And that's really the only thing I need to know.

Springtrap AU time—here’s the info that I have for it: Similarly to the situation in the movie, the spirits do not remember what he did to them, and consider him a friend—including Cassidy. The only one that does remember is Charlie.
Henry was the one who destroyed the suits, having hoped that it would help them. At the same time, William arrived, planning to put the suit on. Which, he did—but, a fight with Henry caused the springlock failure.
When Henry left to find something to keep him from potentially leaving the place... that’s exactly what William did—the spirits accompanying their ‘friend’ in the process.
While he died, Springtrap ended up wandering for a total of two years—all while Henry kept searching for him so that the rabbit could be trapped somewhere, and not cause any harm.
During those two years, Springtrap kept dealing with the spirits—before coming across his wife and Michael (pre-scooping—happens a bit later on here.)—she’d moved, and brought along her son.
Henry isn’t the one who ends up trapping Springtrap—instead, in the end, it’s his wife and only surviving kid. In the end, they’d bring him into an abandoned building, and trapped him in an area within it.
There, Springtrap finally does spend thirty years trapped somewhere. The building would actually be repurposed, and turned into the horror attraction—so, he would be found quickly.
The attraction actually lasted a good while—about three years, to be exact—but in the end, it still ended up burning down, just like in canon.
After that, Springtrap is back to wandering, with the plan to get revenge on all three of Henry, his wife, and Michael—who wasn’t the attraction’s guard.
And all while the spirits are still accompanying him.

late on the elliot mv bandwagon by MONTHS bc i was so scared of Being Wrong but uhm Hey! Isnt it strange that this part was emphasized? Why would there be a reason for an Elliot mv so early on? Why would there be a part with seemingly more importance that was just Not that important in the original mv? why is it that this specific line goes against everything we've learned about elliot so far? what if? what if he IS alive???
pls i have an entire theory i need to release but it has like 500 words and hasnt even touched the tip of the iceberg ohhh i need this man to the the mastermind or connected to the like production team ASAP.... I HATE HIM!!!!
