Hello again podcast side of Tumblr, I know it's been a while, but I'm back with an HOUR LONG video about Harlan Guthrie's Lovecraftian horror mystery podcast, Malevolent!

This video was a massive undertaking, so I hope y'all enjoy watching it. As for the art this time around, they're both somewhat older pieces, with one that I started in October and another from March or April, but I'm happy enough to share them here!

SPOILERS FOR MALEVOLENT PART 37 THE FARM

Obviously, this is meant to be the amputation scene. I would have preferred if it was a bit further in, but I suspect that YouTube wouldn't like that, so here we are. In my mind, the world of Malevolent is entirely black and white, with the only splashes of colour coming through in supernatural entities, like the bugs or Arthur's eyes (which show his connection to John. Looking back, I wish I'd put more detail behind the doorframe, and changed the colour of the tourniquet, but I can't say I'm upset about how it turned out.

The thumbnail of the video obviously depicts Dennis Collins, also known as the Butcher, mostly because it would feel wrong to make art for a video about MUSIC in MALEVOLENT and not include him somewhere. You can't see a lot of the little music details on him, since it's a bust shot, but one that is visible is the clefs on his scarf, with the upper end having a treble clef and the lower end having a bass clef. If you're wondering why I coloured his eyes, first, they are expressly called out as being light blue, but, second, I think they're supernatural nonsense going on with him.
