Mmmmm I think left and right are pretty easily matched! Any sort of 3/4 to full side view is easiest for me (though sometimes it just depends on the character). Full even front views are … my enemy … especially because I like drawing bent noses … heehee

Eccentric, if that makes sense! I want my art to be more expressive, colorful, ‘pop-y’, stuff like that. Just more noticed and noticeable. I want my art to be more colorful, more loud, weirder, digestible. A lot of things, honestly. (NOT TO SAY IM NOT HAPPY WHERE IT IS! I’m mostly content with my art and style, but there are things I want to work on, especially in the new year).

Say... you mentioned that Arthur "kicked his own bucket" I am here to inquire as to why/how? Was he under The King's influence when he did so? Did he drown as a parallel to how Faroe would have died in universe? Some secret third thing?

Oh it was all just him! And I think it for sure would have been a drowning. By his own accord/hand.

Something something this is just a universe where Arthur does NOT cope with his trauma as well something something he’s simply ‘not strong enough’ (as he sees himself) to raise Faroe right something something.

I think it would have HEAVILY mirrored Faroe’s in-universe death.

Faroe knows very little about pianos, much less how exactly to play. But she remembers one song: the song her father wrote, all for her, that he spent oh-so-long teaching her. Out of all his lessons, it was one of the only things that really stuck.

Late one night, Faroe is about 7, and she can’t sleep. She sees the piano, and decides to play, so she doesn’t forget her song. And she plays perfectly, beautifully, and it feels … nice. Calming. She feels almost tired enough to sleep. Then she hears the running water, and notices the whiff of alcohol on the air, and things don’t feel very calm anymore.

A downstairs neighbor takes note of the leak, and calls someone. Faroe’s found just … standing outside the bathroom, standing, wrapped in a blanket and look wide-eyed through a half-open door. There’s water at her feet. She doesn’t even seem to notice.

That thought — the memory, the mental image of it all — it sticks with her. And, now, all she can feel towards her dad is anger for what he did. For leaving her like that, and in such an awful way. On that note, I think Faroe gets in a lot of water-related-situations … for no reason in particular.

Butcher and Faroe interactions are so insanely funny to me in particular. They’d be like stray dogs tossed into a kennel together and they’d fight and maul each other but then it’d get cold and they’d begrudgingly huddle together for warmth. They’re smoke buddies but she tried to burn his coat one time. Does that make sense. He’s more like a weird uncle/really really peculiar friend than a dad but eh

I think I could genuinely rant about this show for DAAAYYYSSS but my biggest gripe is,, why the FUCK do people only talk about Homelander. I got genuinely scared when I got more show in the show. You’re telling me… there are other well-developed/written/acted characters than Antony Starr as Homelander… whhhhhhaaaaaaattt….

Got more bang for my buck and I am very happy about it. Starting up season 2 today <3

Oh god he’ll occasionally catch glimpses of her (or. more. John would) and it’s just this whole thing of “A woman keeps appearing to me in moments of anguish and terror. The worst part is she always seems to be smiling and crying at the same time.”

Bella being really pissed about the fact that, for some reason, she’s tethered to the one guy she really wouldn’t want to be. John continuously asking “Orthur, who is the woman I keep seeing? Why did you seem so distraught when I described her, and even more so when she whispered ‘little bitch’ to us after falling down another hole? Orthur why are you putting your head in your hands. Orthur get the hell up what are you doing.”
