My attempt at renovating the cursed (IMO) Landgraab mansion.

It was a nice distraction for the last three days. I'm so slow at decorating. I've struggled quite a bit, because I have almost no cc in the style I had envisioned for Malcolm (traditional, luxury, vintage). I managed to run out of money! So ignore all the empty/unfinished rooms.

It turned out that ts2 somehow is much more stable on my crappy laptop than on a gaming PC. Like, Stardew Valley drops fps on this bad boy, but ts2 with a ton of cc runs okay? At least during a brief playtest.

On the next day, Jason decided to go out and socialize more with his new rich friend. He heard about this local club Malcolm was yapping about and knowing he might be there, Jason thought about checking it out.

As expected, the businessmen got immediately occupied with the gambling VIP zone upstairs. At least Jason was more reasonable and knew not to go overboard with bets. The other two were joyfully willing to throw everything on the table and needed a voice of reason to hold them down.

The Landgraab Legacy

I didn't feel like doing a big dramatic story with Malcolm this time (as fun as that was in the past...) Instead, with a little help from the matchmaker, Malcolm married Gwen the downtownie (usually she's in a blue sweater with a hat). They currently have two kids: Mimi and Malcolm V. They also have another baby on the way, because Gwen wanted one and I want to keep playing with their genetics (even though there are already WAAAAY too many kids in this neighborhood!)

The Landgraab legacy rules are pretty much the same as they were in 2016. The firstborn male inherits (which means Mimi is out of luck). The heir must go to college and join the secret society. When they graduate, they have to keep both the family businesses (Club Dante and the Electronics Super Center). They can change what those businesses sell, but they have to keep both lots.

Mimi is going to be a teenager in this next round, and I’m interested in seeing what she gets up to. I also need to figure out who all little Malcolm is friends with, because I’ve been trying to get all the kids to be friends, but I’m not sure how well it’s taken.

Uberhood (69) - Goth

Dina threw a party in honor of Mortimer and his life. His time is running up and I really wanted for everybody to come together one last time.

Mortimer with his son-in-law Darren Dreamer.

Alexander and Cassandra also got a chance to catch up. The two don't meet as often as they'd like, especially since Cassandra is a mother and wife now.

Demetrius on the other hand couldn't feel the love that night. He rejected Mortimer's hug. 😂 (Don't worry they hugged later)

The next day Mortimer passed away peacefully while being surrounded by his loved ones. R.I.P. Mortimer Goth.

Malcolm tried to restrain himself, but he kept feeling the itch inside to go and gamble at Diego's club. In the meantime, Douglas was burning the dinner.

Literally. And yet he didn't seem bothered at all.

Douglas: They do pay me enough to care, but I just don't want to.

Thankfully, Malcolm managed to take his son outside and wait for the fire fighters there. No way he would try to put the fire out by himself, so he had an excuse by trying to calm Michael down.
