introduction.
greetings and salutations, people of the site tumblr.com. i go by the name of jameson wilkes andres. i am currently approaching 16 years of life, i'm filipino-american, and i go by the pronouns of they/them.(i was told by my friend to put this here, although i do not see the need.) i currently reside in the town of atlas, washington state.
Tumblr media
(here is an image of me. i saw other people showing their faces in introductions, and thought i should follow suit.)
as stated in my blog’s description, i’ve created this blog to archive my research, studying and learning about one of the most revolutionary inventions created by mankind since the conception of the computer! (albeit, a revolutionary invention that’s been breathing down my neck for approximately three months, two weeks and five days now.) the mental-health assistance and logistics artificial intelligence program! or mal-AI for short. (at least that’s my guess on what exactly “mal-AI” means based on the context.) unfortunately though, i feel like i’ve been dragging this introduction out for longer than it needs to be. i will elaborate further on this piece of tech, what i know of it, and the situation i am trapped in with it another day. it is 9 pm, and i must ready myself for tomorrow. if you are interested in the discovery of the mechanisms and the potential of such innovative and interesting machinery, do stick around! my goal is to upload as much as i’ve learned for the world to see. best regards, tumblr, jameson.
——————————————————————————
( hello hello :D ! i’m extremely new to tumblr so do excuse me hehe … i’m rosalind ! i go by she/they and i thought making a small little tumblr blog for my oc would be very fun ! my main is at @greenes-artdump , go check me out there ! ehe :3 i thought it’d be interesting to give my oc a canonical tumblr account where they post of their journeys of having an “ai” and their research of it, but nobody believes them and think it’s a really in-depth story they’ve fabricated from their head ! i hope you’ll enjoy following my ocs journey, and thank you for reading ! )

Aimée’s and Davout’s conversation about Moniteur
While I was researching a specific letter from the Davouts in marshal Davout’s memoir, published by his youngest daughter, Louise Adelaïde d’Eckmühl, in 1879, I found a conversation between our two lovebirds, Aimée Davout and Louis Nicolas Davout, about a interview the marshal supposedly gave.
Btw, thank you, @josefavomjaaga, for mentioning this interaction in one of your reblogs. I recognised these letters because you wrote about reading them in an article once.
Aimée wrote her husband on the 27th of January 1813:
English Translation: I haven’t received [any] letters from you today, my unique friend, but I read one in the Moniteur. I have to admit that I didn’t recognise your usual writing style, which is clear, energetic and noble, whereas nothing is less so than this sentence, which is surely truncated: “A large number of my men (you are being told) scattered to seek refuge from the harsh cold, and many were seized.” I am convinced that you never say “my man” while talking about soldiers: No one honours this title more than you do, and you're right to do so, because when we talk about men we rarely have anything good to say about them, and when we talk about soldiers we know that we're talking about people of honour without jealousy, without petty passions, and always ready to die under their flags. One always has a purpose for deviating from the truth, and it would be in vain, my Louis, for you to have sought to conceal your losses. Everyone here knows that the major part of the [first] corps was constantly the aid of all the others, and that its losses were considerable during our glorious march on Moscow. The exertions and the harshness of the season on the retreat may not have done it again, but I don't think that it happened to you any worse than it did to others: I believe, on the contrary, that the stampede of which we were told in the twenty-ninth bulletin must only have manifested itself among the troops of your command when it was absolutely impossible to think of rallying them. At the start of the campaign, they were constantly praising their conduct, discipline and good spirit. One does not lose in a moment […] real superiority; but to be appreciated at its value (especially in the career of arms), you must not have everything against you. Whatever the evil, injustice is the greatest evil; nevertheless, I am convinced that it will never bring down a soul like yours, and that you are no more distressed than anyone else: however distressed you may be, you know how to raise the courage of others, instead of bringing it down. I was too well able to make the sad experience; and, besides, if more than ordinary losses distress you, I am convinced that you do not put the public in your confidence. - Marshal Ney's letter, which is written for him, is in another tone which I do not like any better: the end of yours is too tearful, and his a little boastful… Don't be displeased with me, my unique friend, if I have stepped out of the rather narrow sphere that men have devolved upon us, by epiloguing, commenting and judging; I can't be a stranger to what affects you, that's my excuse; besides, I find everything good and fine, or rather I don't ask about anything.
I have a new found respect for this woman. The way she is aware about the circumstances surrounding her, her husband and the army is just lovely to read.
Now, let’s look into Davout’s answer, shall we? Davout answered his wife’s little monologue in a letter written around two weeks later on the 13th of February 1813:
The letter itself continues but I am not able to cite them here because the 2 following pages where the rest of this letter would be are just not there… The document jumps from page 269 (where this letter is to be found) to page 272… :(
English translation: It gave me great satisfaction, my Aimée, to read all your thoughts on the letter you read in the Moniteur: If your Louis had been the editor, you would not have been in the position to make these reflections. It has been fabricated and inserted to destroy all the lies, truly impudent by our enemies, who go so far as to attribute to the superiority of their weapons what is only the effect of the hardships, exertions and twenty-four degrees of cold that the troops have experienced since leaving Moscow. If I had been the editor, as you have observed it, I would not have used the expression my men when speaking of my sovereign's soldiers, nor would I have replaced this expression with that of my soldiers: I know that they are the Emperor's soldiers; so I never use these expressions: my soldiers, my army corps… Finally, I wouldn't have used this expression either: - that I was heartbroken. I regret soldiers the Emperor has lost […]
I appreciate these two letters a lot because it shows me how these two lovebirds interacted with one another on a daily basis. It’s a simple conversation about one article which shows so much character from both sides. Davout is such a thoughtful husband, especially considering the era they are living in. Aimée’s attention to details is just impressive and one can see that she is self aware about the hardships she had to suffer in her life and how Davout played a role in lifting her up.

trying to figure out ia's design(s) bc it's killing me i need to decide + make a ref 4 it .
bc conceptually i DO Get It like her pre consciousness+within syzygy design has round shapes and looks human-like (with some robot-like features) but has no corporeal form (bc digital ai Duh) and has bright n light colors and. etc. whereas post gaining consciousness + physical body she built has Very square pixel-like shapes and has a limited black-white color scheme (prob with a touch of blue idk) and their long bouncy floating hair turns loose and flows downward and is unnaturally long and is dark and very pixelated. kind of a girl-from-the-ring vibe maybe idk ?. and has cracks in their 'skin'. and circuit board type lines. but like. in practice i dont get it. and i cant get the outfit right holy fuck😭 it looks baddd and frankly idk how i feel about giving their post consciousness/physical form clothes at all since it feels very contradictory to the whole fixation on identity as a robot that ia has. like. robots dont need clothes. maybe i should make her physical form just be Parts and no clothes. but Also it could work symbolically in a way i cant quite word yet hold up. ok let me cook ill counterargument myself on this later. So anyway yeah. *side note to self Research androids. but like ia's lil goons (which r wav and mal for those of u who've perchance seen them on artfight...,,,,.,) both have clothes. but. they're not really devoted to her cause n shit. it would make sense for ia to not have clothes because pretty much her whole thing is trying to distance themself from humanity as much as possible. idk. idk

im back with the future mallesil au
when i was researching for a project based on chinese emperor ai i found that alot of emperors had what we would call now "boy toys" most of these young men were sons of the emperor's previous general which hey that fits! anyways this is what this ask is about.
btw emperor ai is the same emperor who cut off one of his sleeves because he didn't want to awake the guy sleeping right next (on??) to him, take that as you will i think its very projectable (ALSO SOMETIMES THE EMPEROR WOULD FAVOR THE MALE LOVER INSTEAD OF HIS ACTUAL CONSORT SOMETIMES A HAREM OF OTHER WOMEN, MALLESIL CODED.)
OHHHHJFDJDJAJDJDJDJ silver being mal’s boy toy fits so much like yeah that’s the king’s whore actually! And I totally see malleus marrying to ensure an heir, that’s his duty duh, but he doesn’t even touch that poor woman he wants his boy toy only. now what would lilia think of this…

Petit Mal
youtube
"The formulation "an autonomous robotic artwork" marks out a territory quite novel with respect to traditional artistic endevours as we have no canon of autonomous interactive esthetics. Petit Mal is an attempt to explore the esthetics of machine behavior and interactive behavior in a real world setting. Its public function is to present visitors with the embodiment of a machine "intelligence" which is substantially itself, not an automaton or simulation of some biological system. More generally, Petit Mal seeks to raise as issues the social and cultural implications of "Artificial Life". The reflexive nature of interactivity is a focal issue: interactive behavior is defined by the cultural experience of the human visitor. As in the Turing Test, evaluation of interactivity is subjective."
Source: SimonPenny.net. (n.d.). Retrieved April 17, 2024, from https://simonpenny.net/works/petitmal.html
Tumblr media
"Penny sought to design an interaction “in the space of the body, in which kinesthetic intelligences, rather than ‘literary-imagistic’ intelligences play a major part.” [17] Perhaps the only robot yet modeled on a form of epilepsy, Petit Mal loses motor control regularly thanks to its double-pendular body. To create a double pendulum robot that could be used safely in public was no small feat, and the odd amalgam of bicycle parts, ultrasonic and pyrosensitive sensors, and shelf-liner paper was, in Penny’s words, “an engineer’s nightmare.” He sought a robot “which is truly autonomous; which is nimble and has ‘charm’; that senses and explores architectural space and that pursues and reacts to people; that gives the impression of intelligence and has behavior which is neither anthropomorphic nor zoomorphic, but which is unique to its physical and electronic nature.” Penny described Petit Mal as “an anti-robot,” designed to avoid what he saw as the software-hardware (Cartesian mind-body) split typical in research robotics. “Hardware and software were considered as a seamless continuity, its behavior arises from the dynamics of its ‘body’.” Penny’s rejection of Cartesianism was explicitly in reference to feminist critiques of the split, and directed at negating the extreme anti-body (and to be honest: body-hating) perspectives of AI founders like Marvin Minsky or Hans Moravec."

miscellaneous post -- small update on the blog. hello everyone, jameson here. i’m just here to say that the other major post/s of the mal-a.i. might be a little delayed due to things occuring currently in my life. i’ve been stressing about a multitude of things, most especially a possible student council election in the near future that i’ll be participating in. it’s quite exciting actually! i might be posting more and more about that if i ever get the chance to, as of course, this is a personal blog and my a.i. did say to post more about myself.
Tumblr media
( i felt the space felt empty, i thought it best to add this image my friend sent me in our messages. i do not know what it means.)
nevertheless, this doesn’t mean that i will not be posting about the a.i. in the meantime! on the contrary, actually. i decided to open up my askbox. (at least, i believe that it’s open, i’ll have to check if it’s functional.) you can go ahead and ask me questions about the mal-a.i and its functions, or its purpose or anything you may have confusions about! (my a.i shocked me and told me to add— you may also ask things about me, if you are curious on my personal life in any way.) I’m excited to hear from you and to hear your questions and queries.
i’ll see you in the subsequent posts, and i wish you all well,
jameson.

Kar’s synthetic companions:
QOSMA (Quantum Organization System Management Assistant): A true AI linked to Kar’s Greybox, similar to how SAM is to the Ryder Family (SAM could be seen as QOSMA’s cousin, part of Alec and Ellen’s research were given in exchange for hers after all). She organizes Kar’s information network and database, as well as quantum Blackbox for Kar’s memories. Some Void Agents opt to get a greybox implant to have a more direct connection to QOSMA, but it is not a necessity. She was still a baby AI during the Reaper invasion and has grown exponentially in the centuries after. QOSMA has her own personality separate from Kar, especially in later years as the AI grows into her own.
Doc : A 2-1B medical droid. More frequently used in her younger years, post Rebellion on Doc is around mostly to help those who need it more (ie friends and family, folks who are with her on a missions, etc). He is usually posted on the Enduring (Mal’s repurposed star destroyer and flag ship) with Mal in later years, though sometimes will be berthed on Kar’s flagship.
Artie: RT-D0 is an astromech droid given to Kar when she was in Republic Intelligence. Hasn’t left her side since. Hasn’t had a memory wipe since the start of the Clone Wars leaving him to be a very eccentric droid whose intelligence borders on the like of fully actualized AI. He is sometimes supportive of her crazy ideas, other times is her voice of reason. Acts like a curmudgeon-y old man by the time she reaches Andromeda and Eridian galaxies, but cares for her family. Still doesn’t mean he won’t sass you, and will if the occasion arises.
Aytchkay: HK-42 is a formerly junked ancient HK assassin unit Kar recovered from an auction. HK was repaired and serves as her occasional personal bodyguard– but more often deployed to guard her later children. It is unknown when he was purchased– just that he came to prominence working on Pandora. Like all HK units, he has a great dislike of “meatbags” and is a very misanthropic droid, barring his mistress. Given the amount of organics that need killing on Pandora, he doesn’t seem to mind his situation. Him and Artie have a shared bond over misanthropy and violence, the two of them seem to be confused and at odds with Bee’s more positive personality.
Beedee: Bee, Beedee, Buddy’s formal designation is BD-Y (not to be confused with BD-1, Cal Kestis’ companion). While both are BD explorer units, BD-Y was solely Kar’s and assisted her in many an adventure through the known universe.(That’s not to say both units have crossed paths at some point.) A gift from Bail Organa during the Clone Wars, Beedee was with Kar during her defection and time in the Milky Way, was with her on the Normandy during the Collector Mission and Reaper war. As such, he’s been modified with reaper code (like the geth on Rannoch), upgraded with a quantum processing unit/blackbox, and on top the things most of Explorer Droids can do, is also now a portable QEC.
Beedee and Artie have been her companions the longest (HK is the oldest being at least 3000 years old…), and as such are practically family to her at this point. Bee is a cheerful. inquisitive droid that is always ready for the next adventure. Bee has always been a playmate of children. He likes spending time with Nazar because of his affinity with the late Legion.
Teecee: Teecee, or TC-22, is a TC series protocol droid that is technically Mal’s valet and assistant. As such he is usually near Mal on his flagship, or residence helping Kar remotely than actually in person. Like many other of his kind, Teecee has a stiff, formal personality programming, which suits his master. He is one of the few protocol droids updated to serve in all six galaxies– although his Psycho-to-Galactic-Basic could use a little improvement.

Cyberattacken: Rückgang in der DACH-Region
Tumblr media
Tornata in India, è stata ricercatrice in politiche agricole ed ambientali all’Indian Institute of Sciences e all’Indian Institute of Management di Bangalore.

AI/MAL vs. MDR: a new class of antibiotics discovered by machine learning
Infectious diseases, caused by transmissible pathogens including bacteria, eukarya, and viruses, continue to challenge scientists and clinicians despite advances in medicine and basic research over the past few decades. Limitations to the fast and accurate detection of infections, as well as expanding antimicrobial resistance, exacerbate these challenges. Basic research has aimed to address these…

Debito pubblico italiano verso quota 3000 miliardi di Euro
Tumblr media
"hey guys i actually coded my own ai 🤓🤓🤓 guys that’s cool right 🤓🤓 "
Might be a nerd but I'm a nerd with a job who's got the side time to literally be working to redefine ai technology. It can be the key to what essentially becomes cloning, which is some serious sci-fi shit, maybe, but which can be incredibly useful in the future for a variety of reasons, so long as the technology stays out of the wrong hands, which is my biggest concern with it. For now, it's mine and mine alone, and one would be hard-pressed to get their grubby lil paws on it. You can sit there, mock my project, mock me, sure. But keep in mind that while AI has been mal-used in the present, it's still incredibly useful technology that can be used for some incredible things. Companionship, research...honestly, the possibilities are quite limitless. So, perhaps, try insulting me and my projects only if you fully understand the technology and could do the same. The opinion of outsider's is useless, because bear in mind, you do not know what's going on.
