Okay sending this to the right blog could I please ask for some head cannons for maku mostly on Anatomy and mostly what you think his body would look like

Because all I've got is that he has black hair and blue eyes and pale skin

( because of his other form being a dragon)

Maku's Anatomy Headcanons

He's a looming figure with a rectangular body shape and rigid muscles

His chest is covered in animalistic scars and four gnarly, healed bullet holes are scattered across his abdomen.

He has a stab mark on the palm of his right hand

His forearms are adorned with scars that encircle his wrists like bracelets and twist up to his elbows like gnarled branches.

He has serpentine fangs in place of his canines

His hair is raven-black with a slight reddish sheen

His hair has gentle waves

He likes to style his hair in a slightly imperfect braid or a messy bun

He has feline pupils with yellow and blue-green tapetum lucidum

He has heterochromatic eyes like Kianna with the right being a dull pinkish-orange and left is a soft purplish-blue.

His pale skin is subtly tanned

He has reddish-brown freckles scattered across his face, shoulders, and chest.

He has talon-like claws that tip his fingers, which have a subtle golden hue.

His back is covered in shimmering azure carp scales, each rimmed in deep red. It's encircled by shaggy, coarse pitch-black fur that comes out from underneath the outermost scales.

His throat is covered in purplish-black carp scales with shaggy, silky-smooth vanilla white fur peeking out from beneath the last row.

OC’s for this blog!

These are Maku and Sosuke Himura. They are brothers from the manga that I write, Kurai Jinhaku. They are demons created by the God of Death, doomed to feed off of the Children of Life (humans) in order to survive. After a human with golden hair massacred their clan, Maku and Sosuke decided that the only way to protect themselves is to coexist with humans— meaning they must balance between hunger and peace at all times.

To the right is the elder brother, Sosuke Himura;

Age: 23

Race: Child of Death

Occupation: N/A

Appearance: Sosuke is about 6’1” (or 183 cm). He has pale skin and scarlet eyes. His ears are long and pointed (think like an elf) and he has long nails and sharp fangs. He keeps his silky, black hair long, where it brushes just below his broad shoulders. Often, Sosuke dresses business casual. He is most comfortable in a button up dress shirt and some jeans.

Personality: Sosuke is cold, analytical, and quick witted. He prefers to build a plan (and a backup plan) before making any sort of decision. That doesn’t make him slow to act, however. He’s gotten rather swift and coming up with a plan and executing it without much trouble. He tends to be rather abrasive. Sosuke will tell you exactly what he thinks of you instead of making you waste time guessing. If he thinks you’re annoying he’ll say so. Despite this, he’s a very caring and loyal man, you just have to warm your way through his icy exterior. Sosuke keeps people away because not only does he believe he’s a danger to them, he believes they’re a danger to him. However, once you get him out of his shell, he’s very tender. He’d prioritize your comfort over his own just because he wants you to be happy and safe.

Appearance: Maku is about 5’6” (167.6 cm). Like his brother, he too is rather pale and thin. Maku has icy blue eyes, fangs, and pointed ears. His ears are a bit shorter than Sosuke’s and his fangs are a bit longer (he occasionally has a lisp because of this when he gets a little too hyped up.) he has tufty, silver hair which he parts in the middle. On top of his head are two cowlicks that lift his hair like cat ears. Maku is seen sporting leathers, spikes, ripped jeans, and converses. He is a huge fan of the punkrock-scene aesthetic.

Personality: if Sosuke is ice, Maku is fire. Maku prefers to act now and ask for forgiveness later. He’ll do anything for a bit of fun. He does what he wants, when he wants, and prefers life to feel like an adventure rather than a list. Maku has little regards for his own safety. This is how he shows he cares. If he’s attached to you, he’d throw himself into a vat of acid just to keep you safe. He would protect those he loves at any cost. With that said, he has little to no self preservation. Maku lacks the understanding that care and affection is a two way street and that people can care about *him* as well. He acts like he doesn’t care but it’s just his way of hiding the idea that, like everyone else, he’s soft on the inside. Like his brother, Maku tries not to feed often, though it’s not as altruistic as Sosuke’s reasons. Hurting others to keep himself alive kinda messes with him because he values others a lot and doesn’t value himself, like, at all.

Abilities: enhanced physical prowess (faster/stronger than most humans but lacks any magical capabilities)

Likes: cows (it’s a long story he has a pet cow), fizzy drinks, jelly filled doughnuts, loud music, trying new things

Dislikes: being bored, having to think things through, being lonely, the tufts on his head, the fact that he lisps when he gets to excited

Thank you for the tag @maythedreadwolftakeyou! Hilariously, I was also tagged for the 7 song game within hours of this one, so one at a time. I'll try not to repeat the same material.

ʀᴜʟᴇꜱ: you just got a kind of shitty old car and it doesn't have bluetooth. You can only buy 7 CDs and you can't repeat an artist. What are you getting?

Frankly, my favorite are mix CDs that friends make, like the one my old roommate created when I was having a bad week called "Don't Feel Bad, Feel Awesome!" But if it's officially published CDs, here we go:

16th, That's J-Pop by Morning Musume.'21 - I didn't think any of MoMusu's albums could ever beat Rainbow 7 for me, but this one really took the strengths of all the members and made made something that was both surprising and amazing. Also, it's Kaedii's last album, and I'll miss her so much.

British Wind Band Classics of Vaughan Williams & Holst - A friend gave this to me in high school, and I will never tire of how these two composers write so well for winds. I miss my oboe...

Cathedral Classics by the Dale Warland Singers - One of Minnesota's top pro choirs sings songs meant for the resonance of a cathedral, and every piece is breathtaking. It was a graduation gift from my high school choir director.

Shin Kaguya Shima Densetsu from the Sailor Moon Musicals - This was the final Bandai-era Sera Myu album, and they really pulled out all the stops, creating themes that were both new and classics. The main villain is an incredible baritone, too. When it was announced that this would be the last before a "hiatus," I clung even more tightly to this one.

Kobushi Dai Ni Maku by Kobushi Factory - Kobushi Factory was amazing right from their debut to their conclusion. Their musicality, their power, and their sensitivity is all packed into their second and final album.

Babel by Mumford & Sons - They sure know how to build a song from the beginning to the end. There is also just so much raw feeling in every song. It's a great sing-along CD.

Fortune's Favor by Great Big Sea - Another final album before the group disbanded, and Great Big Sea put everything into this too. What an incredible collection of folk and shanties.

yeah, yeah, it's a metaphor for grief again, whatever. this was really heartbreaking to write but am so excited to share regardless 😭🥺😭 this chapter of my story is fulfilling @whumpmasinjuly - day 21: abandoned - prompt because...ouch. 🥺🥺🥺

The walls are very loud here. That’s how it feels, anyway. He's small, he knows, but the waves are so tall and he wants to hold a hand tight because crowds are loud here and the waves are loud and it’s hard to listen. But he's old enough to walk by himself, he's (eleven) big and good and adult hands are full.

He needs to listen. 

Wailing echoes out from up above, squirming, writhing. Lehua is crying again. She cries so loud these days but it’s not her fault. Morja tries to be nice - she's so little. The loud probably hurts for her too and she's sticky, sweaty, nose running, eyes streaming, as they shuffle from hallway to hallway.

Everyone speaks short and sharp and the sounds lap against eachother and over eachother and make a rush sound. Little bits fall away from the big humming water-rush-noise, understandable, simple, stony.

Papers.

Child.

Sit.

Money.

Wait.

Yes. 

No. 

Yes.

Hold her for me, Morja, just for a moment? I need to talk to this man for a minute.

Morja blinks and nods as words-in-a-string make sense again, holding out his arms for the bundle of Lehua, who wriggles, fish-like, little shirt bunching up around the armpits and Morja waggles her toy, the clack-clack-clack of the wooden rings sliding together. 

"Lehea, ‘eā? Nānā? E ‘ike i ka wikiwiki hiki iā mākou ke ho‘opa‘a."

A whisper, shhhhhh, the hush of the ocean. 

‘Ōlelo is for at home. Not here. Not the big white waiting room or the smaller white interview room or the little white chairs. Morja remembers, he knows, but Lehua calms at the words she knows best.

The floor is tile and cold and white stone. 

Clack-clack-clack, stacking, Morja uses his shirt to scrub at Lehua’s face, the tears hot and her nose all warm and sniffly, straightening her shirt even as he stares down at the wet patches on his own. Frowns. It will stain. 

Morja remembers it's okay for clothes to stain. 

She’s too little to know not to ruin clothes. That clothes cost money, so much of it. That cleaning costs money, so much, and Mama doesn’t have it. 

The back of a green scarf is very still and very quiet, listening very quiet and very still, and Morja is very still and quiet, following the lead, and Lehua is loud and wriggling but that’s fine. She stacks the wooden rings one by one and Morja lets her win because she would never beat him if he didn’t let her win. 

His name?

Morja.

The baby? 

…Marigold.

There is an orange flower in Maku- in Mama’s book, long spikes, bright and pretty, sprouting out the black lumps where lava dried. The book-flowers don’t look like the ones in the flower shop to Morja. His baby sister doesn’t look like a flower at all anyway. But it’s pretty and Mama says that marigolds looked like ‘ōhi’a to her, reminded her of the tree the first time she saw it. 

Is Lehua that flower, Mama? Or is it the tree?

Both. Either. That’s nice, isn’t it, Morja?

Lehua doesn’t look like anyone here. She doesn’t sound like anyone here. Only the people who are loud and talk so sharp and slow to Mama, which is mean, because she’s so tired. 

The voices are loud and the wave was so high. 

It’s high and dark and it’s darker than even the sky, a rolling carpet of dark meant to swallow them up and it did, it did, the water went over their heads and gulped them down and then it spat them out. Spitting up the salt and cold and dark that you woke up full of. It spat you out and you spat it out too. 

Such a big hungry water.

Lehua screams and her crying, flushed and sweaty and sobbing, is a wave that covers every other word.

The white room swallows him whole. 

Does it? 

No. He is just alone, in the white chair at the white table, and the green scarf, looped like seaweed around her head, is floating away. It does not turn around. She does not turn around. Her face is a puddle that shifts its borders and swims and won’t go still. 

Ma’am, I’m going to have to ask you to take that baby outside if you can’t make her be quiet, you understand?

Ma’am, Mama, Maka?

Lehua, Marigold, a flower swept up in her arms, sobs as she’s swept out to sea, no, in the arms, and he watches it go. The tide sweeps in…and out. It always sweeps in again. 

The walls are so high. He’s so much smaller than the walls. The wave is high and it only sweeps out. 

When will you pick me up?

Soon as I - You have to be good until - okay? Promise me - be good until - come and get - wait - I will pick you up. 

Black rolls in through the mouth of the open door, drowning the crying, the scarf, the white chairs, swallowed whole.

The only thing that picks him up is the wave.

Morja wakes up. 

Jolts into a curl, protect stomach-chest-organs. Breaths rocking through his chest, fast, sharp, in-out-in-out-in-out.

Soaked in sweat, wet and damp and ruining the sheets. 

Fuck. 

It’s always water. Fuck. Only the water swirls in Morja’s memory, everything else washed away as he drags in air like he was underwater and that’s fucking stupid. 

In a sudden terror, panic seizing his chest, Morja stands and strips the sheets of his bed. The bed. The room he has been given, the bed he is sleeping in, the sheets he needs to keep clean. Morja clutches the tangle of bedclothes to his chest and tries to steady his breathing, sinking to a sit. He has practice and he can go from shaky to still in a moment. 

He can be good at what he puts his mind to. 

His obedience to. 

In…out. 

The tide.

No. Air, breathing, that’s what this is. There is ground under his feet, cool and tile, pressing his hands against his eyes on the edge of the bed and he's fine. He is being good and he is fine.

The walls, the ceiling, the floor, all the color of freshly poured cement, neat and smooth and warm under the light spilling out from the bathroom. Bed, table, chair, lamp, cords, hamper, silver vent painted to match the wall, covered bulb in the ceiling. Cabinet, closet, desk.

Brown and tan and green.

Morja’s hands, without tremor, strip the pale green cases off the pillows, the sheets, the deep mossy blanket cover, fold them into bundles in his arms. Strips off his boxers, wet through. 

Laundry will be good. Cleaning will be good. Showering will be good. He can wash all the salty stickiness away and replace it with the favors he's been gifted - the sharp-scented gel deodorant, the soap that smells like leaves and scrub-brushes, the things he can only assume are in every room of this base because people like him don't have eucalyptus and mint and vanilla.

If he scrubs the shower, if he launders the sheets, he can go eat. Yes. He doubts he could stomach any of the free breakfast he has been told he can just take, not unless he does his tasks. He must have tasks - if he doesn't, he will ask for some.

His heart won't calm until the scent of bleach and detergent fills his nose, the pounding in his temples like a heartbeat to him now. A thing that should be there. Like the gnaw in his belly. Like when he was too busy to dream.

Morja doesn't leave his room until the spigots are sparkling, the tiles gleaming brighter than ever, an arm full of washing and his head thudding dully.

He can't smell any salt now, just clean and hurt, and water in pipes.

the namesake of morja's baby sister, lehua, which is the 'ôhi'a lehua, a plant endemic to several islands in hawai'i (which, in the world of this story, has been renamed "raetea" by the colonial efforts of new athens). morja's mother gave lehua and morja new names that sounded greek/english to better assimilate, choosing "marigold" for lehua because the color reminded her of the lehua (also, the plant is the first to sprout out of lava...rebirth symbolism...) 🥺

morja's new name comes from a bullshit greek name - morea - that was plastered onto one of the islands (based on an old name for peloponnese, an old peninsula in ancient greece, once called "the despotate of morea"). someone told morja's mother that it meant "mulberry" for the trees of the region and she found that idea beautiful. morja's birth name he cannot remember and he doesn't try to remember but it was precious to those who gave it to him. 💔

he actually learned how cook because Yui and kianna both were patient with him and helped him with recipes

And made kianna keep his silver knife after they escaped and were adopted by maku since he wanted to keep her safe even when he wasn't there

And after Yui's death

He wasn't surprised that she became extremely clingy with him since he would have been the same

He didn't mind her following him around we kind of reminded him of himself when he would follow his mother around the Rose Garden

And he honestly hates the popular belief that vampires can't walk in the Sun or eat garlic or see their reflection or are not immune to crosses or holy water

He finds it really annoying

I won't write reader that is not the gender the character is attracted to, like I wouldn't write a female reader for Angel unless platonic, and any other character that has a confirmed sexuality. even if there is a widely agreed apon head cannon for the character I will still interpret that as up for grabs. Ex: Leo from rise, lots of ppl agree he's gay but it's not been confirmed so I would still write female reader if somebody asks.

I will write smut, my writing when It comes to male characters, Dom or sub is exceptionally better than my writing for women, but I'm here to get better at it so pls still ask.

Please no abusive relationship asks, I don't want unhealthy relationship ideals to become something people look for in relationships.

I will not write character x character or character x oc, UNLESS it's like, an amazing ask, but it's not common you'll see me write smth like that. I WILL do specific reader traits though, ex: Bunny!reader (LITERALLY ME GUYS I LOVE THEM SO MUCH♥♥) hellborn!reader, mutant!reader, etc.

One last thing, I love drawing! If you ever see any kind of fiction you would like to see drawn, I would love to, please send an ask/request to draw a part in a fic! Only thing is that I will/can not draw any smut, nor will it be digital, I can really only do traditional art, so enjoy my low quality photos of paper😋

Okay I've been changing a lot of things so

Kianna

Isn't overpowered anymore since it's rather boring

But she is half curse so I would probably just give her

The ability to regenerate her Limbs and make her blood poisonous but the catch is with the poisonous blood when she was killing the sakamaki brothers is that she wasn't aware she was half curse and she wasn't aware she can make her blood poisonous and only barely found that out through maku and choso

And I got this inspiration for the character called dazai where she's able to disable someone's ability and I would rather give her an eternal life I took this inspiration from choso and her being the opposite of Eve or in other words her being Lilith

But the catch is it takes a strong toll on her body

Thing that it exhausts her since her body is rather petite which either leads her to pass out or cough up blood

Now there's many characters in my series and in other series that are much stronger than her I mean my girl can't beat Gojo satoru

That would be rather boring and overpowered

So I think I like this concept more that she Lilith

So I think this is a more interesting concept

Also she's still human lots of ways

She would most likely half develop it depending on the circumstances and now with

about Stockholm Syndrome people develop it from an abuser or a kidnapper

I think depending on who kidnapped her she would most likely be more

Willing to comply with the kidnapper depending on the circumstances

If we're dealing with a yandere she'd be okay with it a bit creeped out that someone's obsessed with her but too mentally tired to care

But if we're dealing with a kidnapper with ill intentions she would most likely unalive herself

She'd rather not stay in that horrible environment

But if we're dealing with a yandere kidnapper that treats her right she would most likely develop Stockholm Syndrome if they're nice to her and they don't attempt to harm her and not give her a reason to try to escape or unalive herself

She is the more manipulative clingy and paranoid

And guilt tripping yandere

She actually has abandonment issues

Pushed to her mental limits she could end up snapping and killing someone

I think this is well written, and that you have improved a lot in your writing abilities over the past year.

everything feels more organic in a way, I always felt that Kianna was a character with whom I could empathize as a person but that as a character she was difficult precisely because she was somewhat OP, but currently you corrected that by doing something that not many artists do: taking constructive criticism.

I really like any story you give your character, but in this specific case, I congratulate you! i love this!

I've been thinking about an SDRA2 AU where everything is the same, but the non-AI dead killing game's participants are able to be saved, like in SDR2. By now, I already have some ideas for it:

The other three Voids (Maku, Emma and Nikei) and Kanade are immediately detained by the Kisaragi Foundation for their crimes. Also, I feel like Kokoro could also get detained, bc of both letting AE!Mikado do the killing game unopposed and having Mikako just for her experiments.

With Teruya alive, there will still tensions inside the Kisaragi Foundation, but they don't go nuclear like in canon. But still, there's still some division between the members about if Tsurugi's actions were justified or not.

With Setsuka and the other Hopes, I don't know how it would go, but I can feel that they could get an explanation of why they got roped on the killing game in first place (Also, Yuri discovering that Monocrow was his AI, corrupted by AE!Mikado to have a Monokuma-esque figure)

And also, Yuki also could have Shinji along with Yoruko as friendly faces on his world-spanning mission.

Also, in a funnier direction, all the revived participants going like "Are you saying that the white-haired girl in the hoodie is supposedly Yuki??" when they discover about Yuki's situation in the post-game.

Ohhhhh I really like this AU!

I do think all Voids (Iroha, Maku, Enma and Nikei) would get arrested due to kidnapping people and general other crimes. As you said, due to Kanade confession in the killing game, she would be arrested ASAP. I do agree with Kokoro because while Amnesia!Kokoro hadn’t done anything wrong, ThatTimeline!Kokoro had done human experiments, gave her approval stamp and aided to everything Mikado(s) did, including kidnapping, money washing and murder.

I think the Syobai might not get arrested due to his deal with Tsurugi but I imagine he would get the hell out of dodge out of there since when it comes to criminals Tsurugi isn’t to be trusted.

One point, is that I think Tsurugi actions while still very sus and worrying would have a more wiggle-room in people’s/outsiders’s view, due to nobody actually ending up dead and the mastermind(s) getting apprehended. I feel that while Rei and Teruya would be hella pissed, they would be less…… shaken or hurt to about it and Tsurugi might get away in a sense with stern talking about not doing so again and “we will leave if you try to use us like baits again”.

I also think that in such AU, Tsurugi may be able to change toward a better view-ish due to getting a degree closure with Utsuro, and actually finding closure in saving people from the killing game. I do think that, at least then, he would end up conveying more what he meant and plans due to heavier pressure from Teruya and Rei.

I imagine that odd sort of catharsis and finally having Utsuro be gone for good, may lead to a less obsessed Tsurugi.

That said, considering the possibility of AI Sora, I imagine there would be a lot of arguing between A2 survivors and the trio over whether or not to try to save Sora or not. I feel that Shinji, Yoruko, Yuki and Teruya would be the strongest arguing voices for saving Sora, while Rei would be more neutral-positive and Tsurugi being the one in opposition, due to fearing anything that might survive together with Sora coming back. As for the other survivors, I think they would be too much wrapped up in the trauma of the aftermatch to be able to strongly influence this discussion.

I will put a pin on Setsuka due to her situation being a bit different from the other hopes. If I am not mistaken, Setsuka herself had been hired by Tsurugi to investigate the Voids, so she would have some sort of an idea of what would be going on. Now writing this, it also occurs me that due to Yoruko being there from beginning to end, she would also have an idea of it.

I think all of A1 survivors would feel a sort of closure in this scenario, not only Tsurugi. Teruya i think, especially due to how close he was with people who had died, would get to be able to save the lifes of innocent people in a way that he hadnt been able to with his closest friends (Satsuki and Haruhiko).

I can see a tearful hug between Teruya and Rei. Joy over saving innocents and Teruya being alive, and grief over the reopening of the old wounds of their killing game. Teruya also being so glad at suceeding and having complicated feelings for Tsurugi (who Rei and Yuri are giving a tongue lashing about), but also hugging him over joy of closure.

I imagine Teruya would, unconciously, find the role of guide and glue of sorts for A2 survivors, as he was the most familiar with them from the simulation and came to care for all. I imagine he helping them with coping, lightning the mood, introducing trustable people from the organization and helping to ground them in the new reality in the organization. I think he would fiercily care for all of them and fight for their good treatment and helping them within the organization.

I think Yuri, Shinji and Hibiki would be the ones Most Lost^tm since they got taken out way too early to know about everything………

Although I am pretty sure the first thing that would happen to Hibiki would be Therapy^tm with Mr. Inori and likely aid of other people.

I imagine Hibiki’s follow-up post game would be mostly healing which might leave her disconnected from all the discussions and arguments happening.

Hibiki, in particular, might be the one case where the effects of the simulation help(?) due to it allowing her to be in a state of mind free of Kanade’s control for a time as well as being able to bond and grow with other people, and having the solid evidence of Setsuka being alive and there for her. That said, I imagine everything would be crashing down a lot for her to be able to deal with anything else...

One nice thing for her I think, would be interacting with DRA 6.5 cast. I can imagine Iranami treating her kindly due to his experience with many siblings, and maybe even being able to make her smile due to knowledge over circus techniques. I imagine that Midori would also be able to provide a calming presence (even with her scary face).

As for Yuri…

Yuri voice: I am founding the Mikado Hater Club.

I feel that Yuri would….honestly I feel he might be the one to come out most unscratched due to having very little time in the simulation, and the entire story just comes out feeling out-of-the-world to him. That said, discovering his invention, that was supposed to help people, was used for murder and for an selfish goal, got made into a mockery of itself AND to top it off all of this was spear-headed by a guy would make him very very very pissed.

I picture he arguing with Tsurugi over if his organization is even that good for allowing all of this to happen and just tearing into him. Then, possibly also working hardcore to recover Monocrow AI files and becoming firmly in “Revive Sora” Camp.

Yuri voice: I have to do everything here by myself! – proceeds to create inventions to help them in this - .

I can see him annoyingly accidently becoming a sort of technology supplier for the organization with the condition that they protect his fellow survivors and *cries as if he is a cat being dragged to a bath, for he is DEFINITELY NOT ATTACHED(he says like a liar)* his fellow guy survivors.

Shinji… I think Shinji would be still very affected by everything. He passed through some harrowing, heartbreaking, horror times, and the decision to commit to die for his friends…is… still one that I think would scar. Death by fire would have been very traumatizing. I do think he would be one of the ones who would be able to bounce off to his cheery self, at least in the outsider view. I think he would have his moments of coiling into himself over the trauma he suffered.

While he would have the support of his family, survivors and the foundation, I still think it would be progress and it would take time for him to heal.

As for Setsuka, I would think that Setsuka might leave due to her complicated feelings about her eye use, as well as perceived failure over not stopping Syobai. But I could see she finding herself watching out for the survivors and being pivotal in helping Hibiki recover, and that, ending up keeping her in a place for a long while.

Just this scene of her blinking and realizing how much time has passed and that she sort of gained……a belonging feeling toward her fellow survivors and people from the organization. Joking with Ryutaro, trying to ease Keisuke, having friendly gossip with Minako…while also being a cornerstone in helping Hibiki, conversating, comforting and being comforted in turn by Yoruko, masterminding (hehe) some activities with Teruya and teasing him, joking with Shinji, Ando about “ahh young people right”.

I also imagine she and Ando would have very...existential conversations of sorts due to how centered Ando feels, and the way I think Setsuka would find herself a bit adrift of everything.

Overall, I think Setsuka and Shinji would become attached / feel a strong bond formed towards the survivors, as many times, they took the leading role in their friendship. While I imagine the friendship would change due to the new circumstances / age gaps, I think they would be fond / protective of the class.

I think that Yuki reaction, regardless of survivors numbers, would still be running like hell due to the sheer confusion and panic of his awakening. I think when he has time to stop, and then think and reflect he would be stunned over the sheer raw hope after hearing the other survived (Shinji!!!).

I can see he trying to catch glimpses of the survivors and his heart stopping and re-starting once he sees them alive (alive!!!).

In one of those moments, I can see Shinji seeing Yuki and being like *psss psss to a feral cat* trying to convince Yuki to stop running and come and see them. As well as being at first overjoyed over Yuki being alive and probably yelling about it while Yuki is like Oh- and then Shinji hugs him. I am just picturing this scene of Shinji hugging him while Yuki starts sobbing and hugs him harder because he is alive!! And also probably saying “I am sorry I am sorry” over his actions in the game, due to being haunted over stabbing him thanks to Nikei’s plan.

And then Shinji reassuring him, being glad he is alive, and saying he is his friend and will always be welcome at his house.

Speaking of Shinji, I also imagine that his family would have an impact in this ending. As Shinji was the one person with confirmed alive close relationships, I imagine his wife and daughters would have been severely worried about him missing, and may or may not have tried to reach out to Kisaragi Foundation. I imagine that post game, Rei or another person would contact them to inform where Shinji is and that he is alive.

Writing this, I imagine they themselves might start hanging around Kisaragi Foundation with some frequency, which might lead to other survivors interacting with them. I am imagining that they would also see Yuki as a sort of uncle (reference to his “big bro” with Shinji) who is awkward but keeps coming up with little gifts to them.

I also see Shinji’s wife and Shinji trying to feed Yuki with a bunch of bentos everytime they find him due to worries over his health, as they (and other survivors) are wary over Yuki tendency of disappearing and not sure whether or not he is taking care of himself.

I imagine that due to everyone surviving, Yuki may… be willing to visit them more and feel a bond with them. I imagine there would be some initial awkwardness due to confusion re: Sora’s body (is he Sora or Yuki or did Mikado fucked up and mixed them both or both of them are in a single body), coupled with Yuki’s survivor guilt over (by his unreliable narrator view) taking Sora’s chance to get back.

And yes, pff , there would be so much confusion and having to explain things to everyone. Yuri and Hibiki in particular would be so lost… Hibiki even more so due to not knowing technobabble like Yuri.

I can see many "Sora, wait no Yuki, wait no-"

....The mental image of someone suggesting Yuki to paint his hair orange...

But that said, I think with so many people being alive, it would bring more encouragement to Yuki, in a sense of "you matter, always remember so". While his fierce cheers would be from Shinji, Yoruko and Teruya, i feel, would be right there in supporting him.

Just imagining the time when Yuri and Rei are able to bring back Sora.

I think, even people who weren’t close to her, would be delighted over having her back, especially knowing how hard she tried to save them.

(Tsurugi has been put in the shame corner by Rei and Teruya so he doesn’t complain about it).

I also imagine Sora would be overjoyed into finding them alive. Although the possibility of the first thing she sees when she comes back is Yuri face while proposing her is one is funny to me due to the sheer confusion she would have.

And the happy ending of her meeting a radianting happiness Teruya, a confident Yoruko, a bright Shinji, a still Yuri but very caring Yuri, a recovering but cheerful Hibiki, a steady Setsuka, and finally a tentative but hopeful Yuki... does warm my heart a great deal.

I have two OCs they’re characters for a manga that I’m writing that I want to get more in tune with!

A little about myself, I’m 22F. I’m a creative writing major who’s just about 2 classes away from graduating with my bachelor’s as a suma cum laude. I’m looking for low stakes writing practice with people who also love creative writing. I prefer to only interact with 18+ writers, please! I’ll try to reply frequently but also I’m doing work full time and school full time so if I go on hiatus I will promptly let you know and let you know when I aim to respond!

My characters are demons (but I’ll be honest they’re basically just fancy vampires.) We have the reckless, fun-loving edgelord, Maku Himura. Then there’s his older brother, who is stoic, cold, and defensive.

I’m happy to interact with most anime fandoms and I’d love to interact with other OCs, too!

My Japanese learning is weird. Usually, I learn a language grammar-first, with vocabulary a distant second. But Japanese I'm learning writing-first, with lots of vocabulary incidental to that, and grammar only what I can infer from the vocab examples. (Yes, I have a Japanese textbook. Yes, I should be using it if I really want to learn Japanese. No, I don't.)

This has the weird side effect that, like somebody who learned Japanese as a native language, I have no idea how to describe how the language works. There's this verbform, for instance. The dictionary form of Japanese verbs ends with -u. This is also the present tense for all grammatical persons. Remove that -u and replace it with -i, and you get... well, it works a bit like a noun, a bit like an adjective, a bit like a perfect form. Maybe it's a participle? It's everywhere. Yaku means to grill or to bake; yaki-tori is grilled chicken and yaki-niku grilled meat. Maku means to roll something up; sushi rolls are called maki. Shibaru means to tie or bind something; shibari is the art of tying ropes (don't google it at work!). Mamoru means to protect; o-mamori is an amulet for protection. It works in compound verbs too. Tatsu means to stand, nomu means to drink, saru means to leave; tachi-nomi means "standing and drinking" like at a cocktail party, and tachi-saru means "to get up and leave". (Dashes added for clarity.)

It's just so weird to recognize a grammatical pattern and not know what it's called or how it interacts with the rest of the language.
