Okay so I had an idea— one that makes Ayato’s fate in “You’re Losing Me” even worse. The noblewoman he was supposed to marry called off the engagement abruptly, to be with the one she actually loves- putting her lover above anything and anybody else.

Bonus points if she made a little scene at a dinner, telling/raising her voice how she wasn’t going to go through with this and is willing to lose her status and power in the clan if it meant being with her one and only to emphasize the passion she has for whoever she’s with and she does just that

ah now that would be a punch in the gut. (imo a well deserved one 🙈)

imagine she storms out of the room, food left untouched. the engagement just ended, but the only thing ayato is thinking of is you. the false hope fill him, “i can still be with them!” until reality shatters his world and it all comes crumbling down. he lost them, and it seems like he lost a piece of himself too.
