Would you mind explaining your Arts and the crafts au? I’m interested

IM SO SORRY THIS ANSWER IS SO LATE BUT HERES THE RUNDOWN LOL

basically it started with me just imagining the show but with certain things that bothered me omitted or changed to fit my preferences, then i started incorporating some elements/characters from the games, and then it just evolved into a whole au with a plotline LOL! the characters i chose to include feel really random and unrelated when i just list them out but i promise there was SOME kinda logic to it,,, probably just jokes that were made between me and my qpp that i just decided to include for real lol! obviously theres adeline and ribbon (whos designs ive already posted here), but they come into play way later in the story lol. the main people i added are prince fluff, gooey, dark matter blade, drawcia, yin-yarn, and zero. queen ripple is also here too but she plays a pretty minor role lol.

it takes place pretty soon after the anime, specifically during the rebuilding of cappy town after it was destroyed in the finale. basically, drawcia shows up with gooey and dmb (they are her sons) and yin yarn shows up with fluff (his doll son he brought to life with magic). yin and drawcia meet and eventually get together because theyre both strange and offputting (affectionate). the name "arts and the craft" actually is a reference to them, since "arts and crafts" could be a term used for both knitting and painting, and "the craft" is a term used for magic :3! pretty soon after they arrive, weird stuff starts happening around town and its discovered that 3 girlies were sent to cappy town to generally cause a commotion. these girls are the 3 dark matter sisters that appear in kirby 64 (aka the ones that possess waddle dee, adeline, and ddd in-game)! later zero shows up and i thought it would be really funny if i just made him like the most divorced guy ever so hes literally just here to get drawcia back LOL??? she says no of course so he gets real mad and a fight breaks out. our heroes win of course and boom thats the plot babeyy!!! i was also gonna have some character arcs going on in the background of all of this (like ddd becoming a slightly better person, escargoon figuring out how to hate his life a little less, meta knight fully coming to terms with his past and healing from it, etc.) but thats the gist of things :3! looking back at my drafts and stuff i think its a bit too serious at times so if i decide to work on it again im definitely easing up on the drama LOL!

Corkscrew x Movie Dude hcs bc yeAh

•At first movie dude was actually kinda scared of Corkscrew Dude. He’s the most buff pdude he has ever met & he has a resting bitch face more often than not but it doesn’t take long for him to realize Cork is a sweetheart for the people he cares about.

•Cork takes a huge liking to Movie Dude pretty quickly because he thinks he’s super tiny and frail. He can tell Movie Dude doesn’t have much of a edge to him as much as most dudes do so he’s always by his side to put his foot down against the other dudes if they mess or bug Movie Dude.

This flatters movie dude a lot because he’s never had someone worry over him so much. He falls for him pretty quick lol. The muscles and abs definitely help him feel like he should warm up to him a lot quicker 😏

•Movie Dude helps cork with his English! He hates when people give corkscrew a hard time over the way he speaks and will rough up anyone who gives him a particularly hard time.

He finds corkscrews accent very attractive and loves hearing him talk in Russian though he doesn’t get a lot of what he’s saying. He can pick up bits and phrases sometimes because corkscrew tries to help him learn Russian :)

•They are both super patient with each other. Movie Dude doesn’t get mad or anything when corkscrew can’t think of the right word for something and corkscrew doesn’t get mad when Dude is stumbling over what he’s saying or if he’s being clumsy. (Honestly corkscrew finds it unbearably cute how awkward and clumsy Movie Dude is)

• Corkscrew works out with mDude! He doesn’t suggest working out with him bc he thinks mDude needs to look any different, he just wants him to be stronger because again, he thinks mDude is like the weakest, smallest thing ever 💀 so he tries to help him be prepared for when he needs to use his strength.

MDude enjoys working out with him :3! Especially the view he gets of mDude all sweaty & his muscles flexing 😳 he might even get too distracted by how handsome corkscrew is and will stop lifting weights or whatever & cork will ask what’s wrong and he’s like “OH heh nothing! Just took a breather 😅”

Corkscrew will ask him to sit on his back sometimes while he’s doing push-ups.

•MDude weighs nothing to corkscrew so corkscrew is used to just picking him up and running when things are getting too crazy. That & he will just pick him up over the slightest damn things 🙄 like if there is a puddle?? Well mDudes shoes can’t get wet so up he goes. It embarrasses mdude each time.

•The other dudes will tease them both over how sickly in love they are but mostly stop after a certain point. Corkscrew didn’t even really get mad at them for picking on them unless Movie Dude seemed really uncomfortable, otherwise cork would just point out how none of them are seeing anyone at all. Ouch.

•They are probably one of the most healthy pdude x pdude ships ever. They have really good communication skills, they are patient with each other, very caring about each other, and just like.. honestly really healthy all around. If something happened where one got mad at the other, they are in each others arms apologizing to each other a couple hours later.

•Cork and mDude visit Russia a couple times. Cork will show him around and teach him different things abt Russia. MDude enjoys traveling a lot and getting little trinkets to take home. He also probably takes a lot of photos of them & the scenery with a cheap little camera.

•They patch each other up. They both get extremely worried when the other is hurt. It honestly will annoy another pdude with how worried they sound about each other like for example, corkscrew could have hit his head on something (not even that hard) and mDude will have him laying out on the couch, going on about “🥺 do you need anything hun? Are you feeling any better? Should we go to the doctor? Need a new ice pack?” like every 5 seconds.

Or if mDude is hurt, cork is near by and is almost lowkey growling at any of the dudes who even try to talk to mDude. He will tell them to leave and let him rest.

•The way mDude looks up at cork makes him scream on the inside.. he gets that aggression people get sometimes when something is too cute. This man will grip onto the fabric of his own shirt to keep him from smothering mDude with love smh.

•Cork really doesn’t give a fuck who can see them being lovey dovey. He will pull mDude onto his lap in public if he feels like it. The only time he will not go overboard with pda is when mDudes uncle Dave is around just out of respect & whatever.

•Corkscrew and mDude have gone on a walk one time and saw a little scrawny orange kitten and corkscrew picked it up, stared at it for a minute before turning back to mDude and only said “You.” (They probably kept it after)

•I feel like the only slight problem I think they would have is corkscrew might be a tad too over protective to the point where mDude feels like maybe corkscrew doesn’t think he could protect him as well. He wants corkscrew to feel safe even though he knows cork could hold his own pretty well. He just wants him to feel as loved & safe as he does with him :(

•Cork likes alcohol with a strong taste while mDude likes fruity drinks. One of the first times cork smiled & laughed around him was when mDude took a sip of whatever cork was drinking and made a disgusted face.

•Cork can’t wear mDudes clothes but mDude can wear his. Cork loves when mDude walks around in his band t-shirts.

You loved ballet more than anything, but the hours were ungodly. Waking up on a Monday morning at 5am to be at the studio by 7:30am was unforgivable.

But then, when you’re there till 11pm…it’s exhausting.

After those fifteen hours of practice, you needed about a week of sleep and four advil. Not to mention you were starving.

Your instructor said “lay off those bagels.” To which you nodded and then rolled your eyes once you were out of sight.

Your instructor was the best of the best, and you knew she meant well. She wanted the best for you, for you to be the best.

Sometimes, this was draining. In her eyes, the best was as thin as paper. Ballet was like this, and it was hard. But you had dealt with it for so long, that you started tuning them out years ago.

Fuck them. Its a sport. So, on your walk home, you grabbed a slice of pizza and a diet coke. You deserved it.

After deciding that leaving Alex on read would be best for now, you walked into your favorite little italian restaurant that you ordered some pasta from after practice got over.

Should you be eating breadsticks, gnocchi, and a tiramisu for dinner? Eh, probably not, but you were tired and in need of some comfort food.

The whole situation with Lando felt like nothing and everything all at once. You knew he was single, and he knew you were as well. He also knew how upset you were about Ben quitting, but he didn’t pity you which was nice.

Family that had found out had been texting and calling you for weeks. Telling you how sorry they are, but you didn’t care that much. Truth be told, it was just inconvenient and inconsiderate.

If Lando knew one thing, it would how he knew how you functioned. At this point in knowing each other, Lando knew your schedule more than anyone else. He paid more attention. He never missed a planned hangout, a rehearsal, or dinner.

Stopping yourself, you walked up to the counter and grabbed your food, saying bye to the workers and started walking back home. What you didn't know was that Lando had happened to drive by and saw you walking.

Lando debated picking you up. The last thing he wanted was for you to think he was stalking you. It really was pure coincidence that he saw you. After having a mental fight with himself, he turned his car around and slowed down by the sidewalk.

You, wearing leggings, a sweater, long socks and tennis shoes and your hair down. Eyes focused on your phone as you struggled to find a good song to play through your headphones. Your ballet bag hanging off your shoulder and takeout in the opposite hand.

Smiling, Lando rolled his window down. "Y/n!"

You furrowed your brows, looking up and seeing a familiar face.

"Lando? What are you- are you following me now?!" You asked, stopping to talk as he stopped his car.

"What? Wha- no! I was driving by and you were just there!" He defended himself, nervous about your reaction.

"Uh huh..."

"Do you want a ride home?" Lando asked, tilting his head a little.

"Are you going to kidnap me if I get in?"

"Y/n! No! Stop that, just-...do you want a ride, or no?" He asked, hoping for you to say yes.

"Um...." You looked at the ground, then the buildings, and finally met his eyes, "Okay, yeah, thanks."

You opened the back door and threw your bags in, placing the food on the ground. Then, you got in the front, taking your headphones off and buckling up.

"How was practice?" Lando asked, pulling onto the road again and heading to your apartment building.

"It was okay. Lots of criticizing." You sighed, toying with your sweater string.

"About?" Lando loved your love for ballet. But sometimes, he wished he could beat your instructor. Always bringing you down, for no reason. In his eyes, you were perfect. He was well aware that he liked you...more than friends.

“Form, diet, you know..all that shit.” You laughed, watching as Lando skillfully pulled into the parking garage of your apartment. “Thanks for driving me, Lando.” You smiled, getting out and grabbing your bags as Lando exited the car as well.

“Care if I come up?” He asked, stuffing his hands in his hoodie pocket as you nodded and started walking, Lando quick on your trail.

‘Maybe he does like me…’ you thought as you both walked into your apartment and you started to split up the food you had ordered.

You blinked as the world tilted on its axis, blurring at the edges of your vision, before it stood upright again, only slightly hazy. Had you really had that many drinks tonight? It didn't seem like it. Maybe this tavern's brew was stronger than you were used to?

"Everythin’ alright? You look a bit sick."

You look up at Karlach with a reassuring grin. You hated to worry any of your friends, but least of all the tiefling. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and you'd hate to see it crack. "I'm fine. Think I should head to bed - this stuff is stronger than I thought it would be."

She frowned. "Really?" She peered into her tankard, confused. "Seemed a bit weak to me."

You chuckle. It sounded distant. "Guess I'm a bit of a lightweight." You push your mug away and stand on shaky legs, using the table for support. "Goodnight, everyone."

Those who hear you bid you goodnight as well, some raising their ales in gratitude and others teasing you about not being able to hold your liquor. Astarion stares at you like he's studying you, brow pinched tight. You offer him a smile, before doing your best to stumble toward the stairs.

Halfway there, a waiter comes to your side, wrapping an arm around you and smiling brightly. You recognized him through the fog in your vision; he'd been the one to serve you drinks. "Need a hand there, hero?"

You laugh, world spinning once more as you allow yourself to lean into his support. "A hero that can't hold their liquor," you drawl. "Some hero, eh?"

He chuckles by your ear. He bears most of your weight as he helps you up each well-worn step, steering you toward your room. How'd he know which one was yours? "I hardly think it affects the world's view of you," he assures. "After all, you did save Faerûn."

"It-" Your body lurched forward, all of your limbs turning to lead. The world continued to swirl and wave and twist, until you couldn't distinguish up from down or left from right. Black spots began dotting your vision, blocking out some of the vertigo. Your stomach churned, your head ached. "'t wasn' jus' me..."

"C'mon, love. Your room is just here. Let's get you to bed."

A bedroom spun in your vision, but not for long. The last thing you saw was the waiter's grinning face as you fell to the floor, too weak to stand any longer and too dizzy to stay upright if you had.

........... Astarion.........?

"Tav?" Something cold touches your face. "Darling, wake up."

"Mmnf..."

"That's it. You're safe now."

You blinked open your eyes but winced at the light that greeted you. You heard a soft hiss.

"Is that better?"

You tried again, and were grateful to find it was no longer so bright. You looked around, trying to get a sense of your surroundings.

"You're in your room." Astarion sneered, glaring at something on the floor. "But we should move you to mine before you try sleeping again.”

“Mm? Why..?” You groan as you sit up. Your body feels so heavy, like it was made entirely of stone. Astarion helped you up with a hand to your back. You followed where his gaze had been. Laying face down on the floor, in a puddle of blood, was… the waiter? You blinked stupidly at the corpse. “What happened?”

Once he was sure you wouldn’t fall backwards, he sat down on the edge of the bed next to you. “Bastard drugged you. Gods know what he would have done to you if I hadn’t followed you up.”

Your brain was still slow, trying to piece together what had happened before this. You remember celebrating a battle won. You’d bought drinks for everyone, and… You closed your eyes, taking deep breaths as bile rose to your throat. “Oh, fuck,” you gasped. “I-I thought the drinks were just strong, I-”

He carefully touches your arm. “It’s not your fault, love. No doubt he’d gotten good at tricking people.”

You shook your head, looking at him with wide, lost eyes. “What if he’d drugged you? Or Karlach or Shadowheart or- or-!”

He scoffed in disbelief, nose scrunching. “You just got drugged and nearly assaulted, and all you’re worried about is what could have happened if it’d been one of us? Darling, please, have a little perspective.”

You grimace as you glance back at the body. The sight of the blood or the corpse itself doesn’t bother you anymore. But the thought of what could have happened sat thick and unpleasant in your stomach. You grab his hand from your arm and hold it in your lap, fiddling with his long fingers to distract yourself. “How did you know to… To follow?”

“Well, for one, I trust Karlach knows when an ale is strong. Two, I’ve seen you hold your own against her in your little drinking games before. And three…” He curls his fingers around your hands, stopping your fiddling and rubbing a thumb along your knuckles. “I’ve seen men like him play this same game before. Too many times. I wasn’t going to risk it happening to you, too.”

A chill runs through your body. You lean forward to press your forehead against his neck. He hesitantly brings up a hand to run along your back, holding you to him. “Thank you,” you murmur. You bury your face further into him. “Gods, I can’t believe I…” You sigh, soft and shaky, dread overwhelming you as the reality of what happened sunk in. “Thank you, Astarion.”

“As much as I’d love to sit here all night, listening to you praise me over and over for the hero I am,” he teases, earning a quiet huff from you, “you need to sleep. And not here.” He gently pulls you away from him and stands from the bed, squeezing your hands before he lets go. “We’ll just tuck you in down the hall, I’ll go downstairs and scold the others for being too careless, inform the innkeeper of his employee’s exploits - perhaps even get paid for doing so - and then we can get the Hells out of here come first light.”

You chuckled softly. He helped you stand, an arm around your waist keeping you steady as he walked you around the body and out the door. “And if I want you to stay?”

He hums as though the thought never crossed his mind, before sighing overdramatically. “Then I’ll just have to get paid for my bold rescue in the morning. I suppose it can wait until then. I won’t be cleaning up that mess anyway.”

He unlocks his door at the end of the hall and guides you to the bed, setting you down on the edge. You clumsily kick your boots off and he sets them by the door, toeing his off right next to them. You plop back into the pillows, giving in to the weight in your bones. He huffs a laugh at how pathetic you look, but it’s far more endearing than he wishes to admit.

You do your best to get comfortable under the thick duvet the inn provided, sinking into the warmth it offered. He easily slithered in beside you, touching you almost pensively as you turn into him and cuddle close to his chest. You’re so warm. He wraps an arm around your shoulders, the other draped over your waist, keeping you close. Keeping you safe.

Even just thinking about what could have happened if he hadn’t had the good sense to follow fills him with rage. He should have torn that bastard apart, piece by piece, until he only knows pain and remorse for every single victim that came before. But you’re safe, and that’s what really matters, more than his own revenge.

You press your nose against his neck, hot breaths fanning across his skin. He could almost feel the brush of your lips as you murmured another thank you. Your arms slipped around his middle, wrapping around him so you were as close as possible. You muttered another thanks, and another, and another, until exhaustion overwhelmed you, and you fell asleep in his arms.

They were the first to inspire me to be who I am, without them I wouldn't even BE HERE. Okay I mained bads perspective yesterday but I keep seeing people say that Etoiles and Roier couldn't find anyone to kill for nine hours--and listen . Is it that they couldn't find ANYONE or that they didn't find who they WANTED to kill, because they did see Foolish and Cellbit didn't they? Two people in nine hours is SUPER ROUGH yes but they did run into red more than once and just didn't kill them so idk I'd be more into it if they really didn't see a single player for any time whatsoever but like. Just because they didn't see bad more than once ISNT the same; I think I just mainly take issue with the fact everyone is trying to give bad a hard time for not fighting while refusing to acknowledge the entire server wanted his head on a platter, why should he 1v12?? Like that's ridiculous how is that even content when he'd get curbstomped against that many people, every time people want to fight him it's only AFTER they gather at least four to six people to take him out like be realistic if you want to 1v1 id be like fuck yea but he knows that where there's one there's the rest of y'all not too far away I just do not get it he's not a coward he's using basic common sense (plus even when people offer a 1v1 they're ALWAYS in a vc telling their team where to go to jump him) that is there's One of him and An Entire Server who wants him Dead good as he is (and tbf i also disagree with etoiles calling their fight from the other day a 1v2 because it wasn't--it started as a 2v2 and fit ran because he almost died (I'm aware of the miscommunication btw I don't blame either of them!!! It really really sucks bc I'm sure etoiles could've escaped) but regardless it WAS a 2v2 that bad didn't even Want to take on initially, it would've stayed that way if fit had stuck around because he was going to die anyways ykwim but to say it was unfair when it didn't start off that way is eh 2 me mostly bc it sounds like they jumped Etoiles off guard as if Etoiles and Fit didn't engage them first) HOWEVER saying all that I think they really should try to encourage PVP in different ways than just "everyone go hunt down this one specific player" because then it's kind of just . Like that encourages that player to just hide because why would they fight that many people? Boosting the kill percentage helps but manhunts don't imo they'll just stay underground the whole time and I don't blame anyone who does outside of even Blue--like when Blue and Green were hunting Red, of course red is going to stay hundreds of blocks away to avoid PvP it's just numbers ykwim idk it's purgatory but when you being killed will set your entire team back because there's significantly less of you then everyone else I don't blame them really and I hope the admins can come up with a different way to try and get fights going

1. neil josten: definitely that one k-pop idol who korean fans hate but international fans love. man’s definitely created a twitter/tiktok account dedicated to defending his members (especially a certain andrew minyard) that somehow managed to blow up so he’s basically living a double life lmao. he gives me main dancer energy but i feel like he could also be a main rapper

2. andrew minyard: he would be the k-pop idol that everyone thinks is untalented and unskilled and like makes everyone so confused as to how he debuted but then suddenly actually put effort into performing one day and everyone’s like “holy shit he’s actually GOOD???” he gives me all-rounder vibes ngl but i feel like he’d be a good singer (please tell me if he’s like canonically a shit singer or smth that would be so funny)

3. kevin day: leader obviously (though i feel like the foxes would have that thing where there’s like a leader and a co-leader ykwim?) but anyways probably the one that’s like really blunt and critiques the other members during practice which some stans hate bc yk but also a good portion of the fandom would really appreciate bc his criticism and borderline insults actually help the members improve pretty well. leader, main dancer, lead vocals probably

4. nicky hemmick: the guy that you either love or hate, there is literally no in between. honestly seems pretty likable at first but then makes some low key messed up jokes that puts people off. really talented tho, possibly ace/allrounder. he also would eat gg choreos up

5. aaron minyard: the “normal” minyard (he very much is not) prob the one that the cishet girlies love bc he gives off “mysterious bad boy” energy when he’s literally a fucking nerd lmao. STAN ATTRACTOR literally the felix of this hypothetical k-pop group. i feel like he and andrew got scouted to be a k-pop idol while they were buying groceries or something and were like eh why not and auditioned for fun just to actually pass

Hmm 🤔 NGL the main three protag-coded guys (Laios, Toshiro, Kabru) have got it kinda rough.

Laios is used as a stand-in for a top a lot. Again, who's that guy? I know he's weird but he's not as sexually aggressive as I've seen him portrayed. If it's not that, he's a himbo.

With Kabru and Toshiro, I've seen it less since I spent a couple weeks going into tags just to block annoying people LOL. ✨ curating my fandom experience ✨. But people often miss the balance with them?

They're both NICE. Kabru has a martyr complex that's born from an honest concern about humans, it's been said a lot but a lot of his "intensity" are PTSD responses. Which, ofc, a bad look, but he keeps them under control for the most part? Impressive. To me he just looks like a guy who takes politics seriously, yet apparently that makes him nefarious. Please.

And then, my guy lol. Toshiro's usually a patient, observant person? Why is he so often drawn so angry? He'd rather put up with stuff that's truly vexing him than accidentally be impolite. He empathises with Kabru after he stops trying to manipulate him, and seems to have sided with Rin when they fell with Pamela. He's nice! Just a bit serious and anxious.

If it's not this too, it's making those two too... Uke-ish. Kabru gets twinkified and Toshiro gets turned into a blushing dandere (hey, I agree, I also see him as inexperienced and repressed. He still talks to people without blushing and getting flustered though? If anything I think he's more prone to go blue with anxiety than red with bashfulness).

Hmm. I can see why it can be difficult to find the balance with them though. I just also feel like they get shoved into tropes that don't fit them the most.

The one thing you see in fics all the time

I've mainly read fics that star Toshiro, NGL, and I'm super picky so it's not like I have finished that many 😬 but, if I had to say...

People write him as hating Laios way too much, when I think the emotion you need to balance is frustration coupled with respect for the guy and the knowledge that his social fumbles are accidental. Toshiro KNOWS he means well, that's what made it difficult to call him out! He feels he has social rapport with the guy. It never crossed his mind that he COULD find a way to speak up without making it weird.

He said he couldn't stand him during the fight, but I just can't look at it without keeping the context in mind. I'm sure he felt what he said in the moment, and I'm also sure he didn't mean it as much afterwards. The bell is a peace offering, a bridge. He was telling Laios "despite what happens I'm on your side". That's a thing you only do if you feel loyalty towards someone if you ask me.

1 - the character everyone gets wrong cedric the sorcerer. he deserves respect as a person, and the royal family was wrong to deny him that, but he does little to earn respect as royal sorcerer. 'oh he has such a good and relatable arc' whup tee doo his grand finale was... *checks notes* doing his job correctly. the one he's been training for his whole life. color me unimpressed by a character that should have either left that job YEARS ago or put a little effort into anticipating what he'd be asked to do and practicing instead of trying to prove his worth through stunts and domination.

2 - a compelling argument for why your fave would never top or bottom can't do it lol, everyone's a verse in my mind

6 - which ship fans are the most annoying? shoutout to the time i went through the snape/lily tag and couldn't scroll 3 posts without a james/lily shipper trying to pull moral rank. however i think 75% of the hp fandom has ship rabies.

7 - what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them? eh, none, i don't let fandom influence my interpretations of characters that way. cedric is closest but the fandom misinterpretation is just an additional annoyance, rather than a driving force

8 - common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about 'cedric and sofia have a good relationship'. shipping or not, they're completely one-sided. what does cedric provide sofia with? he doesn't even listen to her particularly well.

12 - the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them to no one's surprise, my first pick here is wormwood from sofia the first. he was created as a joke, ha ha the pet is smarter than the human master, but then the show makes you judge him by human moral standards as the foil to cedric's 'deserving of second chances'. the show itself asks you to view a character that cannot leave servitude as human, and wants you to believe that his station is right. it's so deeply unfair. i care him. i respect him. i want to see him take the power of humanity for himself, abuse it, naturally, because that's all humans have ever done to him, then grow into a complete person when he realizes he cares despite it all. knowing that, i feel like mentioning areelu should come as no surprise. doing great evil in response to evil that was done to you? that's so up my alley. up my pussy even. making her bond with daeran of all people is such a great idea, someone who cannot forgive her, but must move on and work with her regardless. it seems like most people write her off as too evil to live, but she's still a super genius. there's a lot to be gained by befriending her. the gold dragon ""redemption"" happens so absurdly fast though. 'oh shit guess this is pretty fucked up, so glad you're a piss-colored lizard bc that's the only way i'd ever listen to you' wrath's writing in general has a bit of a quantity over quality issue. a lacking-logic issue. no way my azata would sacrifice herself just cuz without knowing what areelu will do once she's gone.

16 - you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc) - hero-type main characters in general. idk exactly what it is but i find most of them very dull, and often irritating. a lack of desires beyond duty? can't often be described as freaks? they just never have any footholds for interesting ideas to me. - gold aasimar cum. if you want something golden to come out of daeran's dick, you can just make him piss XD also does that imply his hair is naturally white? - daeran x chill/lawful/'boring' kcs - i can tell that on some level he wants the stability from people like that, but i can't see him actually bonding with them. esp not towards the start of the game. - truly, utterly pathetic meow meows. like, listen, i love shoving a character into a Situation and watching them flounder around, but they've gotta be proficient at something!

21 - part of canon you think is overhyped for just about everything: the worldbuilding. i think people get impressed by the mere existence of worldbuilding, rather than the quality of it. pf surprised me when i looked deeper into stuff and found it gave me the same 'this is a hot mess and i have to make shit up for it to make sense' feeling as stf. i expected better from a massive ttrpg but ok. for wrath, also the characters and the music. the characters rely on one-note personalities with maybe a ~hint~ of spice, with one extremely notable exception of daeran. the degree to which he beats out every other character in complexity is stunning, really. the music is... just fine? it's not amazing, it does exactly what you'd expect a track for that purpose to do. I think most of the tracks have muddy orchestration, too much focus on harmony/vibes and not enough on rhythm and melody. the one track i really love is 'a drink before the battle', it has a great flow and dynamics and i wish it played more often.

Hi hi here's my little pinned post / welcome / explanation post for this lil blog.

I'm Kenz, they/them (okayish still with she/her, but, eh), and my life was consumed by yugioh since I was a kid. So, I created a fuck ton of ocs for the main series, and this is where I decided to put everything. Why? Because my brain needs some level of organization and it's easier to have a blog with dedicated tags; and, for my mobile users, here's the link to the tag directory.

I do plan on doing a series of fics following my ocs journey across the main series, with some additional arcs and tweaks to the timeline and what all transpires bc I think some aspects would naturally change with these ocs additions and fuck it my canon now might as well make it unique. However, it's taking some time for me to get everything set up and ready to post it so please bare with me! And in the meantime I'll post drabbles as I write them!

My main ocs that I typically will go into several essays about are Kat, Maddox, Iris, Nana and Mason, though River is becoming a bit more prominent as I flesh them out; the other OCs are actually their families who have taken over quite a bit of real estate in my brain and especially the Grandma Squad, who will be featured in a prequel fic to showcase Solomon's adventures and the bonds he himself made.
