Magpiestar 

The current leader of Rappidclan, She is an honorable cat who places importance on cats as individuals and views her clan as a home for these individuals. She feels the need to carry every burden alone since she doesn't not want to cause any cat in her clan discomfort of any kind. She's a workaholic and it makes her clan worry but they love her dear;y and will do anything to help her out. Her time as deputy was short, she learned most skills as a leader. 

She is stubborn and quick witted and makes sure every cat in her clan knows that they can come to her for anything, they are all her children. 

Before she was leader she had 3 kits with her late mate Speckleface. Dapplecheek, Clifleap, and Shatteredeyes.

Her deputy is Quickstream, a spunky silver tom.

Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to post these, they’ve been sitting completed for who knows how long lmao.

Keaflight is a young scrappy warrior that moved into Dawnclan from Kelton (the nearby town) where she previously lived as a stray. She is fiercely loyal to her new clan and is close with her leader, who helped mentor her.

Magpiestar has been the leader of Dawnclan since she led them away from the Riverlands deeper in the foothills of Mount Sleettop. She was made a leader incredibly young (24 moons) and is heavily affected by this, becoming steadily tired with her duties but devoted to her clan. She sees her younger, brighter-spirited self in Keaflight and gave her the same warriors suffix in accordance with this.

i started an expanded mode clan like normal, selecting the high ranks and a single warrior + all the kits i could and a single apprentice! after i loaded the game, i killed the adults and went from there 😅

"I'm pretty sure mine is longer," Longtail insisted, stretching as tall as he can.

Magpietail held his as straight as he could, "No no youngster, mine is longer."

"Don't call me 'youngster' just because you're losing gray-muzzle!"

"Both of you lay down," Deadfoot commanded, circling around to inspect the two tails being stretched out. He hummed consideringly before stepping aside to allow a more impartial judge to step forward.

"I've never been so invested in something so trivial before," Larkwing muttered, watching with anticipation as Leopardstar inspected the two tails.

"...by a tuft, it's Magpiestar," she declared.

Magiepestar hopped to his paws smugly as Longtail cursed though his whiskers twitched in a good-natured fashion.

"There's always the chance that something bites it off," Longtail heckled.

Magpiestar rolled his eyes fondly, nudging the slender warrior with his paw.

"And when that day comes, you will win but for now, my tail reigns supreme."

What r all the warriorverse groups/clans?

there’s not exactly Clans in Warriorsverse, but there ARE groups led by leaders! usually theyre just aus, like underswap and underfell, that are individual groups.

two groups of note are Renegade’s (Magpiestar) and Horror’s (Shatteredstar) groups. Renegade’s is particularly small, mostly filled with his family and close friends (his kids, aura, and AC)

Horror’s is horrortale, basically.

Introducing the Dawnclan deputies versus the Duskclan senior warriors council!

The deputy system works differently in each clan from each other and from Warriors canon, so I’ll include a bit of context (and some introductions to these characters) below.

(thanks to @nanistar who I adopted Windwhispers design from, isn’t she pretty??)

Dawnclan:

Three deputies are chosen upon the election of a new leader; one chosen by the leader, one chosen by the clans elders and one chosen by the healers. Deputies manage patrols, camp upkeep and oversee training between themselves. If a deputy retires or dies they may choose and train their replacement, otherwise the two remaining deputies will decide for them. When the leader dies/retires the new leader is voted for by any fully named warrior/healer from the pool of deputies. The current deputies include:

Windwhisper, the youngest deputy (35 moons), a social she-cat who likes to stay current with clan gossip/news which informs her decisions as a deputy. She primarily organises hunting and border patrols.

Morningstorm, the oldest deputy (108 moons), who was Magpiestars controversial choice of deputy upon her election (because he killed Burningstar, the previous Duskclan leader, as he was healing). He is externally cold but is surprisingly patient in his role of overseeing apprentice training.

Drizzleleaf, the other one (57 moons), who was selected and trained by the deputy he replaced. They are known for being fidgety and awkward and feel like they have to compete with the younger Windwhisper to have enough cats to properly defend their clan. They are in charge of Dawnclan’s camp defenses.

Duskclan:

Since Duskclan’s leadership succession follows the line of clerics/healers, Duskclan lacks the traditional deputy role. Instead a group of senior warriors, known as the council, decide matters such as patrols, battle strategy and apprenticeships. This council selects their own replacements when a member retires/dies which needs to be approved by the leader. It’s common for the kits of council members to be mentored by other council members and later be selected for the position. The current members include:

Slugbelly, one of the kinder members but only when seperate from the rest. He’s known for his humour which is often given at the expense of others and for ultimately following the group consensus with little independent thought.

Willowwind, the only she cat of the group and one of the more senior warriors. She’s uptight and pedantic, almost obsessive over following the clans rules and traditions. As a young warrior she discovered her kin in a cross clan relationship that bore a kit; not wishing to shame her family she kept the secret and the kit was raised in Dawnclan. She’s never been able to look at Windwhisper in the eye since.

Stoatbite, the oldest member with the most power over decisions. He’s incredibly experienced, particularly in battle and has a strong distrust of cats outside of Duskclan, as well as being known for his recklessness and arrogance.

Thunderclaw, a generically xenophobic older warrior who is strict and severe, believing of the effectiveness of “tough love” which he extends to his kits. Ironically he gained his position entirely though nepotism and has experienced little in terms of severe hardship.

Dappledshade, the newest and youngest council member. He considers it an honour to be included with his young age and although he has some discomfort with the views of the other members he lacks the backbone to stand up to them. Well liked and popular amongst other young warriors and is a bit of a player.

A time to start anew.

“Cliffpaw, grab the kits and run--!”

A small red tom woke with a start, fear and adrenaline filling his veins as the thick stench of blood filled his senses. The lone apprentice of ▇▇Clan doesn’t even take the time to stand properly, bolting immediately from his nest and sending its contents scattered behind him. He barely has a moment to parse the camp in front of him before whirling on his paws and angling left to the nursery; he couldn’t count how many cats had already fallen, but against such a massive enemy the tom knew instinctively they stood no chance either way.

Misfortune had followed a patrol home; a patrol of young wolves out for a hunt. The packs northward had been growing larger over the past seasons-- more pups meant more prey which needed to be killed. Though predators themselves, Cliffpaw knew it was foolish to believe cats weren’t also prey in their own right.

“C’mon, c’mon, c’mon! Let’s get going!” a kit nearly his own size shoved his way past ▇▇▇▇, a smaller she-kit following behind with what could only be a moon-old kit in her jaws.

“Head to the tunnels!” ▇▇▇▇ shouted over their shoulder, just barely audible against the snarling and barking of wolves.

Giving himself a firm nod, Cliffpaw overtakes the eldest kit and begins to pick up the pace. “Follow me-- I can lead us somewhere no wolf can find.” He hoped. He’d only been there once, two moons prior the beginning of his apprenticeship with Magpiestar; The Moonlit Caverns. A place where those blessed with the ability to do so commune with their ancestors, sacred and protected.

A small dip beneath a stone obscured by plants Cliffpaw never learned the name of marking an emergency tunnel into the system below -- it was narrow, and not well-maintained but it would have to do. A shriek sounds from behind him, shrill with terror. “AMBERKIT!” Cliffpaw hears the tomkit shout as his eyes meet the dark stare of a wolf whose jaws clamped around the tail of the white and grey tabby she-kit.

“Take the little one and through that hole and RUN-” Cliffpaw orders, hoping his few moons of training would be enough to save Amberkit and get out of there before the wolf could get a worse hold. Without hesitation, he lunges forward and latches to the large hounds face, teeth fighting for a grip against its massive forehead. 

He looks down at the wolf, eyes black and hollow, and then further down at Amberkit, tiny and helpless within its jaws. His paw begins to slip when an idea strikes him. Leaning into the weight, Cliffpaw scores his left-front paw down the wolf’s left eye and landing with a thud when it pulls itself back, a high-pitched whimper leaving its muzzle, releasing its hold on Amberkit’s tail.

His mind fights to take the moment to look across the camp while the wolf was still dazed -- were ▇▇▇▇ and ▇▇▇▇ still alive? Did they somehow escape as well? Precious seconds are wasted while Cliffpaw fights against himself, muscles tensing in indecision. A growl, deep and low is quick to make the decision for him. The red tabby surges forward, grabbing Amberkit by her scruff and forcing himself through the tunnels.

Whatever happened above, they would have to get through this together.

hiii welcome to my latest little clangen venture :3 this save, i selected a single apprentice and all the kits i could and decided to let it up to fate if they can rebuild from such a tragedy post style will probably change moon to moon while i figure out what kind of flow i like, but i hope you enjoy!

I gotta ask, is Magpiestar a beloved leader? In Canon he apparently was, I think. I wanted to know if it carried over in this au.

Magpiestar is indeed deeply appreciated by his pride!

His tendency to keep to himself and mind his own business carried over into his leadership style. So long as the other prides and outsiders aren't directly hurting his pride, he couldn't care less and thus focuses primarily on keeping his cats happy.

While it had always been tradition for the Wind to prompt first, he encoded the law about not renaming kits or apprentices without their permission thus making their naming tradition law.

His experiences outside of the Greenwood have also served him well - he's been very proactive creating trading deals and agreements between his pride and the nearby skulk and republic
