This isn't really a "crew" since their ranges don't overlap much, but I just wanted to draw a Blue Jay and a Black-Billed Magpie, so that's what I did.

2024 - Bird year in review - part 4.

Corvids! My crows and the rooks will get their own posts, but I had so many nice corvid encounters with other corvids this year, so I think they deserve their own post.

There are the corvids of South of Portugal the red-billed chough and the Iberian magpie. Strangely there were no crows anywhere in the Algarve.

And the corvids of my neighborhood, the Eurasian jay, the jackdaw and of course the Eurasian magpie.

All of these are rather shy, so I am quite happy if they let me come close enough to take a good picture.

Upon seeing all the goodies inside the gift box, Marcin became a little overwhelmed at just how great everything was!

"Thank you so much! Wow, this is everything I could've ever wanted...all of these will definitely keep me going for a while! The wine looks REALLY good I'm so excited to try it!"

He takes out the scarf from the box, and wraps it around his neck. He was shocked but overjoyed at how silky and soft the fabric was. Perfect for the winter!

"Gosh, and this scarf...it's gorgeous! Your artistic vision is amazing, and the material really IS some of the best I've ever felt! I'll definitely be wearing this like, all the time!"

Happy pride month! Here’s a thing I drew with some pridesopods! :}

I drew the pridesopods as my own two flags (Bisexual and Demigirl) and the flag in the background is the 2017 Gilbert Baker pride flag (Gilbert did make the original one in 1978, but he made this variant just before he passed). It’s honestly my absolute favorite queer flag and I wanted to include it bc I’ve never seen anyone use it.

My offering for day 6 of @crystal-week: hobbies!

Crystal’s fingers are aching. Maybe it’s from how long she’s been holding them still to let the polish dry, but they feel restless; like she wants to curl them around something, do something, make something with them—

Okay, that feeling’s not new. It’s probably not the polish. It keeps cropping up in Crystal’s mind, usually when something good is happening, like she can’t just let herself live in the moment. Like it’s too much to just feel. She has to make it permanent somehow; make it immortal.

“Hey, Niko?” Crystal asks, waiting until Niko pauses the show and turns towards her to continue. “Do you have any paper?”
