Post Omniverse Scribble

I really need to draw more of my post-series Omniverse stuff especially with my "The Plumbers' Corruption gets Exposed"/"Rook and Ben's Epiphany" stuff but here.

During some repairs on the Plumber's station, Warner get's fired for openly badmouthing Magister Tennyson in front of the man. It takes almost a full 24 hours before the station starts falling apart and Magister Patelliday sends Rook and Manny (who's friends with Warner) to get the Splixson back before his sister hires him for her own trading empire.

This takes place just after Warner was fired and he's still kicking himself for not paying attention to who was in the room before speculating what REALLY happened during Max's famous stand off against Vilgax with the Late Agent Levin.

The man himself, Ben Tennyson!

In this universe, UNUA-0001.0803, a 21 year old Bennett Kendyll Tennyson was on a semester break after a year at Friedkin University with his adoptive brother, Kevin Levin, and best friend, Evelyn Grace Price, when the Omnitrix found itself crashing into the largest tree in Ben's backyard. Racing out to see what broke his favorite tree, the Omnitrix detected it's target's DNA and bonded itself to Ben's wrist. After a few minutes of trying to get it off, Kevin recommends going to Max to figure out how it works and what it might be.

On their way there, a group of cloaked figures attack a nearby park to abduct recruits for a cult Ben would later learn to be the D'archon Organization. Seeing people from his campus in trouble, Ben tries out the Omnitrix on a whim and becomes his first transformation, the Poseicarcarah he dubs High Tide. With the assistance of his Osmosian brother and martial artist friend, High Tide washed out the cult members and ensure the safety of his classmates.

After getting some information, Eve picks up a card left by one of the cult members. The trio from there go to Max for advice, who informs them to investigate these cult activities further. From there on, Ben, along with his allies, would set their sights on stopping the D'archon Organization in its tracks and helping those in need, no matter the cost.

Little bits of trivia about this Ben: *For one, this version of Ben identifies as non-binary and answers to he/they pronouns. *Ben was exposed to alien life from a young age, as he was taken in by Max when he was a baby. He's already met Tetrax, Xylene, and the citizens of Undertown through Max's continued work as the Magister of Earth. *Kevin was rescued from a group of terrorists led by his father in this timeline, Aggregor, by Tetrax and Max. Kevin was forcibly mutated into an amalgam of the Andromeda Five when he was about eight years old and used as a weapon. Ben was the one to help calm him down enough to let Tetrax and Max take him to a Galvan doctor to be cured. Afterwards, Max adopted Kevin and the two boys have been inseparable ever since.

*Ben worked at Baumann's Grocery from the time he got out of high school to a year into having the Omnitrix. Even after becoming a full-time Plumber, Ben still visits and helps out at the store when he can.

*Ben and Gwen in this timeline are twins, though Gwen was raised by her aunt and uncle for twelve years before they left her at a boarding school. The twins wouldn't meet again until they got to college, where they barely recognized each other outside of their similar mana readings.

*Ben and Kai met much younger in this timeline due to Bellwood being close to where Kai lives. They met through their grandfathers and quickly became friends due to their lust for adventure and similar rebellious personalities. They share a relationship similar to the one Prime Ben and Gwen have and see each other like siblings.

*Ben would meet Azmuth not long after obtaining the Omnitrix due to Albedo trying to reset his stolen Omnitrix model by replacing it with Ben's core. Azmuth would after tell Ben of the device's purpose and fix some glitches it was having due to the impact. Afterward, Azmuth would leave Ben with a duty to be the bridge between species and take Albedo to the Null Void.

*Bennett has encountered alternate versions of himself, including Ben Prime and Ben 23, while chasing the leader of the D'archon Organization across universes. They find Ben 23 and Reboot Ben ungodly annoying, though gets along with Nega Ben and Gwen 10.

*Bennett's favorite alien is either Soarigami, his Komoriomi Ori form, or Mothman, his Aveniree form, due to loving the feeling of flight and their cryptid-like appearances.

*Bennett has yet to unlock any alien from the Prime or Reboot continuity, though does have them in his database.

*Bennett has a distaste for strictly brawler-type aliens and has a preference for elemental, flight, and brain aliens.

*Bennett is aware of Alien X, though has little interest in ever using such a form unless absolutely necessary. He learns of Celestialsapiens through the primary antagonist, Legacy, an alternate Ben fused with Celestialsapien DNA and leader of the D'archon Organization.

*Bennett is happily living with his version of Julie Yamamoto as her domestic partner.

Some quick au fic. In a world where the Osmosians got involved in the Ultimate Kevin Arc, Max finds himself in a pickle...

The interrogation room was quiet, far too familiar and yet all but unrecognizable from Max’s seat. In chairs of their own, a pair of Inspectors sent by the Osmosian Empire, their faces impassive. The two had names, but he was in no mood to remember them, not when they had hustled him to his present seat with little fanfare and less warning. He’d had a bad feeling about their investigation as soon as they’d shown up with the team to collect Kevin. One blinked slowly at him.

“Magister Tennyson,” the Inspector said, “High Prince Plumber Mendevin of the Imperial Clan died in your presence, after- by your own admission- absorbing energy from an attack. Now, you’ve responded to Kevin Levin of the Imperial Clan experiencing an energy overload not by reaching out for assistance but by insisting that the child be killed. Would you care to explain the connection here to us?” After doing his best to match their calm expressions, Max’s mouth twisted into an offended snarl as their words sank in.

“Are you accusing me of murdering Devin,” he demanded. “He was one of my closest friends!”

“Not close enough for you to inform ryl mates when you found their missing chick,” the other said, fingers over their notes.

“And apparently even being courted by your children wasn’t enough to protect young Kevin.”

“Kevin was a threat to everyone around him,” Max said with a scowl, leaning forward in his seat. How could they not see that? Somebody had to handle him, and there was nobody better than his kids.

“One easily managed once experts were brought in,” the first Inspector said, “something you, as Magister, failed to order, or even to mention as a possibility, before jumping straight to killing him.” He knew why he was there, and it twisted sour and nasty in his gut. With deep breathes through his nose, Max forced himself back straight in his chair, almost lifting his chin in defiance before remembering how Osmosians viewed the display. His scowl didn’t go anywhere.

“And now you think, what, what I’m some anti-Osmosian bigot,” he almost growled. “Just going around killing them willy-nilly?” Still, their faces showed no more emotion than they had before, and Max felt a new hatred for Osmosians of rank.

“We think,” the second Inspector said, “that an Osmosian died with only your word on how, of a wound that could easily have been caused by any of the weapons you had at hand, after you and the only witness both say ru absorbed energy. Then, after multiple interactions with a missing chick failed to report his discovery to anyone whatsoever. Now, that same chick has experienced an energy overload with your response being that he has to be killed. In fact-” They skimmed their fingers over their notes again, hitting the translation they were looking for. “-you stated your preference would be to kill him ‘as if he was a diseased animal’.” He didn’t regret it. He had turned to the people he trusted most to do the best they could for the greater good, and there was nothing they could do to shame him. But damned if he would have preferred they at least glare at him while they tried.

“You can see how the Emperor-” Fuck them and fuck their emperor, bitch probably didn’t even have a report yet. “-would think such things worth investigating.”

“Your Emperor,” Max said, “is barking up the wrong tree. I’m not the one who murdered Devin, I’m glad Kevin’s better and getting help-” He could have sworn he saw the second Inspector’s jaw clench, just for a heartbeat, and refused to believe it was his imagination. “-and I’ve done nothing short of what was the best option at the time.”

There was no emotion in the way they blinked, but he’d have sworn it was unimpressed. Max felt a tremor coming under his ribs as it sank in that this was a full-on investigation. By the Osmosian Empire. Not a quick check, not a talk from his higher ups or from the Galvans. His word wasn’t enough, wouldn’t be enough, to keep his name clean.

With another slow blink, the first Inspector curled their tail before their feet.

“Then you won’t mind explaining yourself…”

I'm guessing the Elevator Monologue series got the plug pulled on it, but I'm still curious: How would Kevin want to be addressed at his new job? I know he considers the "King of the Void" title to be stupid, but does he prefer it to "Warden Levin"? Would he have preferred to still be addressed as Kevin 11000?

There's an unfinished draft of a chapter on my computer where Kevin makes it clear that he prefers to be called "Boss".

Magister Arys looked at the message. It had been sent anonymously, to the Plumbers' Null Void base in general and not meant for any specific officer. But, it did seem to contain what looked like personal details about the Hero of the Universe, Ben 10,000. So, Arys decided it was not his problem and tagged it for Kevin.

Kevin, unfortunately, hit "Reply All" and so every member of his team (include the Null Void natives who worked with them) as received the same confusing message:

"BEN I KNOW ITS YOU! YOUR SIGN IS THE SAME IS GWEN'S STOP BOTHERING ME AT WORK! WHEN DID YOU BECOME AN ASTROLOGY BITCH ANYWAY? ...I liked you better when you were a narcissist."

Some Ben 10/GenRex LGBT headcanons for Pride Month (Not Secret Saturdays, unfortantaly. I don't know much about the series).

Ben (Prime and G10) and Gwen (Prime and G10) are pan.

Kevin (Prime and Reboot), Kai, and Ester are bi.

Rex is moronsexual bisexual.

Reboot Ben is non-binary (he/they) and Bi!

Reboot Gwen is a lesbian.

Magister Patelliday is aroace.

Gwen 10 is trans and pan (may be projecting a bit here but idc)

Ben 10 headcanons because nothing in this show is ever explained (this is ignoring the omniverse retcons)

1: Kevin has had at least three mentioned plumber badges, Magister Labrid’s that was later confiscated, the one he received on duty from Magister Prior Gilhil and the one that originally belonged to his father. Due to all the switching around of badges, it’s a little confusing to figure which one he uses. I like to think he uses his father’s, which I believe his mother would have kept, and requested it be repurposed as his.

2: The crew has stated not all alternate versions of Gwens are anodites, so I believe the “spark” Verdona talked so much about was unlocked by Gwen’s practice of magic that she started when she was 10.

3: Kevin, due to having a job and his own apartment, is most likely emancipated. His mother probably agreed because she’s just grateful to have her son back and nothing else.

(Warning sad and dark headcanon ahead!!)

4: Kevin’s hatred for his stepfather always seemed somewhat… unjustified to me. I had the idea that maybe Harvey, well…abused him, whether physically or emotionally, and that his mother never knew (sorry). This could further explain why he ran away and was under the belief he was kicked out and unwanted. 

5: In the future Kevin and Gwen are married and Devlin is there, but, for some reason (probably complicated life stuff) Gwen is Devlin’s stepmom instead of his bio one. But he still calls her “mom” and he’s still her son. (Also Gwen and Kevin probably didn’t have any kids together out of fear of what would happen if an anodite were to try to carry an osmosian)

6: another future one: Ben’s love life is canonically a train wreck. So I picture he’s had two divorces, one with Julie and one with Kai. Kenny came from the second marriage.

7: Future Ben has a Dad Bod no I don’t take criticism.

8: Gwen started liking Kevin (even though when they first met again as teenagers he was literally running guns) because the stress and pressure of being Little Miss Perfect got to her and this was her way of breaking away from that. Call it an extreme teenage rebellion that resulted in a wholesome relationship.

9: At one point Mrs. Levin and Harvey got divorced (I personally wouldn’t stay married to the guy that ran my son out of the house)

Akane Hasegawa has the Omnitrix AU

@smolstarthief, here's some more stuff for the whole Akane having the Omnitrix thing!

Okay, so this takes place after the Omnitrix finally times out. Naturally, everyone is still in disbelief with everything that had just occurred. So, in order to relax, everyone makes s'mores. And for a moment, it starts to work.

Then, the Omintrix times back in. Akane, out of curiosity begins to examine it in more detail. She did what she did last time in order to bring the dial of the Omnitrix up, and instead of simply pressing it, she twisted it and began to scroll through the varying aliens it had, with Zenkichi telling her what species each one was.

While she had what seemed like millions of aliens on the watch, but Zenkichi told her to stick to ten for now and to try out some more later, once she had gotten the hang of the thing. So, she picks the following Aliens;

Conductoid (Feedback), Orishan (Water Hazard), Methanosian (Swampfire), Lepidopterran (Stinkfly), Appoplexian (Rath), Galvanic Mechamorph (Upgrade), Cerebrocrustacean (Brainstorm), Sonorosian (Echo Echo), Loboan (Blitzwolfer) and Kineceleran (XLR8).

During the first few weeks of Summer, Akane starts training with the aliens, so she could easily use them if she was to ever get into a scuffle with someone of alien origin.

As you'd expect, she comes across a bunch of maniacal super villains/villainesses. Dr. Animo, Zombozo and his Circus Freaks, Vilgax's Mechadroids. The works. But there are also some newcomers;

Kajima Kyushu: basically this AU's version of Kevin E. Levin. She's gonna be Akane's main rival/sometimes partner/eventual friend. Becomes incredibly flustered around Akane's cousin.

Maho Hasegawa: Akane's cousin, this AU's version of Gwen Tennyson (except Maho's a guy). Maho and Akane are much more buddy-buddy rather than antagonistic. "Dweeb" and "doofus" are terms of endearment between the two. He crushes hard on Kajima.

Eien Driscoll: Adoptive son of Forever King Driscoll. An alien/human hybrid (much like Kajima) who was adopted by Driscoll, the Forever King plans on using Eien's powers for the benefit of the Forever Knights. He's also Akane's love interest.

Yeah, quite a bit of newcomers, eh? And for those who know who the Forever King is, you can probably guess who Akane's gonna be fighting for the majority of her Summer Vacation.

Characters that are important;

Zenkichi Hasegawa:

Before Zenkichi retired, he was of the level of Magister among the Plumbers. For those who don't know, Magister/Magistra is the second highest rank in the Plumber ranking system, with it being right under the title Magistratus and Magistrata. Once Akane has the Omnitrix, he comes out of retirement.

Zenkichi was partners with Max Tennyson, Patelliday, Phil Billings, Aoi (she was a Magistra), Xylene and a Celestialsapien Gladiator who went by the name Galaxia Starlight.

Before Aoi and Zenkichi were a thing, Galaxia and Zenkichi were romantically involved.

Later on the two have a reunion, with Galaxia mourning the loss of her friend and vowing to eradicate Owada if they were to ever cross paths.

Eventually, the two hit it off again, and Akane gets a badass stepmom.

Yuuki Mishima

In this AU, Yuuki is the youngest person to ever become a Magister in the Plumbers

He's in an unwilling relationship with Looma Red Wind. Somehow, he beat her and she has been sending him Tetramand Gifts 24/7.

Teaches the Phantom Thieves the ropes during their training in Plumbers Academy (yes, I'm making the Phantom Thieves official members of the Plumbers, don't even @ me).

He entered the Plumbers Academy two years ago (like, a few weeks after the whole Kamoshida thing came to a close).

Yuuki is one of the few humans who can causally make conversation with Azmuth. What starts as a simple conversation becomes a storm of hypotheses and theories.

Eien Driscoll

His relationship with Forever King Driscoll is akin to Hunter and Belos from the Owl House. The Forever King simply sees Eien as means to an end rather than a person.

Eien is a human/Fulmini [Full-Min-Eye] (Shock Rock) hybrid. He has a human appearance but can actively transform into a full Fulmini form whenever he gets too emotional.

When he finally reaches an equilibrium, his body takes on features of both a human and a Fulmini.

He has an intense fear of failure (Daddy Driscoll gives out some rather serious "punishments" if Eien does fail).

He's socially awkward, has only heard about the outside world through the news, old movies and old cartoons.

Was told that his parents died in a freak accident that totally wasn't caused by the Forever King.

Will geek out over monsters for hours if you let him. He likes them because he was always told that he himself was one by Driscoll he thinks they're cool.

Is desperate for love and affection. Can't tell when it's fake.

*slaps car hood* This boy can fit so much trauma in him!

But seriously, the poor boy needs a bunch of hugs and kisses A, S, A and P.

Kajima Kyushu

She's an Osmosian, a species of humanoid aliens that have the ability to absorb DNA.

If you watch Ben 10 as a kid, you probably know how this all plays out.

When Akane hears her (Kajima) say "they haven't had the chance to make fun of me yet", I imagine that her heart would break in two.

Everyone's reaction to her Amalgam form could basically be summed up to the term "what the fuck".

Is an open pervert when it comes to Maho, much to Akane's annoyance.

She learns to absorb minerals and alloys during her time with the Phantom Thieves. And even later on, she learns that she can shift her body parts into weapons once she does this.

Soon, she joins Team Hasegawa and the Phantom Thieves after being convinced by Maho.

Maho Hasegawa

As mentioned before, Maho is Akane's cousin.

Maho can be described in a few words; cute, kindhearted, hardheaded (to an extent) and somewhat protective.

Maho admires the Phantom Thieves like Akane, but to a lesser extreme.

When Maho first meets Kajima, he felt like he had been struck by a cupids arrow 20 times.

Much like in the Prime Timeline with Gwen, Maho finds one of the Charms of Bezel (the one that grants him incredible luck) and starts to go by the name Lucky Boy.

This causes Hex and Charmcaster to enter the story.

After fighting and defeating Hex, Maho becomes interested in actual magic and starts to study it profusely. Also, yes, Maho is an Anodite.

Kevin: Well, the sooner I help you, the sooner I'll never see my friends again. So... Want me to get the more trustworthy kids to help out, or am I still not allowed to talk to them?

Prior: Do not mouth off to me! It's your fault we're in this mess. Who raised you anyway?

(Kevin becomes genuinely hurt.)

Prior: I know a bad influence when I see one. Those are good children with bright futures.

Kevin: Yeah? And what does make me?

Now that I've started rewatching Alien Force, I really don't feel like Gwevin came out of nowhere. It's just. Subtle. Of course it's up to interpretation, but it feels like to me it's just Kevin being happy a pretty girl is talking to him and being nice to him. He's probably developed some semblance of manners around girls and in OS he and Gwen never actually talked or interacted directly one on one so he's got no reason to be pissed at the sight of her unlike with Ben.

And Gwen placed a hand on his shoulder and spoke clamly to him so in his head he's probably thinking 'she's showing me an ounce of human decency and I sure as hell never get that from anyone else so I owe her in return'. Therefore when Ben raised his voice at Gwen, to Kevin that was disrespecting someone that was willing to show Kevin Levin of all people some human decency and Kevin wasn't willing to stand for that.

And! A similar thing is paralled with Magister Labrid, when he jumped in the way to save Kevin from the exploding Forever Knight. Kevin said 'I owe you one', so once they realized Labrid was hurt, Kevin offered to help patch him up with something from in the car. Kevin actually offered to help save Labrid's life to repay him.

So it's not just 'pretty girl being nice to me'. This is actually how Kevin operates. Of course, Gwen being a pretty girl is something that helps turn things down a romantic angle tho. But it's not exclusively about that is the thing.
