The Salazar Cousins
Alpha's design based on/inspired by @block-swing-perry's Nephew!Alpha AU
Character Lore Below
Alpha "Alphonse"
Adult
it/he
shirt was custom made by Violeta from five other shirts (he has five variants of it he switches through)
Alpha escaped the Null-Void and after trashing Ben's dimension a bit with Malware, returned post-Cure event
Caesar agreed to build him a stable, proper body as the world wasn't ending around them and there isn't anyone breathing down his neck about it anymore
Initially strained relationship with Cesar, but it has gotten better over the years
has been protective of Violeta since it found her petri-dish
very much encouraging her mischievous/rebellious side
was initially conflicted with Roman- on one hand there's a person just like it who's just as confused about everything as it was, on the other hand, there was a bit of jealousy of him instantly having a stable form and not having to fight for a place in the family (Violeta's favoring her new playmate didn't help matters) but quickly grew just as fond of the little scaredy cat
he is still able to possess/mutate technology, but it wrecks his body and destabilizes him for a while so he only does it in emergencies
still has the schematics for the original ultimatrix
usually exploring the world
knows the Null-Void better than anyone but refuses to help the Plumbers since they keep sending it there (very rude, Cesar just opens a portal to where it is but it's still annoying)
Was in the Null-Void with Kevin, both when he was a child and when he was an adult

DuAlbedo Ben 10K AU Lorepost
A Ben 10K AU of mine.
KEN TENNYSON - The son of Ben 10K, hero of heroes, sporting the retro-styled Omnitrix-B of his father's creation. Unlike the original Omnitrix, this one scales the age of its alien forms to Ken's own to allow his forms to grow up and mature alongside him. Eager to become a great hero like his father before him, but not yet understanding what that really means.
ROOK BENN - The younger brother of Rook Blonko, Ben 10K's former partner and a high-ranking member of The Plumbers stationed in orbit above Earth. Benn is stationed in 10K Tower, acting as plumber tech support for the plumbers and is often roped into following Ken and co's shenanigans out of a sense of responsibility as the only 'adult' in the room.
DEVLIN LEVIN - The first child of Gwen and Kevin, living with his sister and cousin in 10K tower due to his parents often being away at work in the Null Void and Legerdomain respectively. In this timeline, instead of being able to transform into a semblance of Kevin's early chimera form, he is studying to be a magician hoping to one day surpass his mother. In his gloves he wears a pair of charms Gwen made to replicate the charms of Bezel, specifically those of Luck and Telekinesis. In combat, he has a talent for creating magical constructs similar to Charmcaster's using whatever materials are in his environment whether it be rock, metal, or organic.
PENNY LEVIN - Devlin's younger sister, living with him and their cousin in 10K tower. She takes after Kevin, being a troublemaker with an absence of caution but with a desire to help her family. Unlike Devlin, she has yet to start holding her parent's recurring absence against them and treasures any time she gets to spend with them or her uncle Ben. She wishes she had powers of some kind to help her brother and cousin with fighting bad guys, and later discovers in the worst way possible that she takes after her father in more ways than one.
ALBEDO - The former student of Azmuth, at the latest depth of his life-long spiral. Ben's creation of the Biomnitrix was one more in a long line of last straws, and finding out that his enemy had created an inferior copy of the omnitrix and received even passive approval from Azmuth where Albedo's superior Ultimatrix had not set the metaphoric strawpile in his mind ablaze. This led to Albedo creating the Dualtimatrix, a new version of the Ultimatrix which possessed both an evolution AND fusion function. However, attempting to use both functions in unison caused a severe malfunction in the Dualtimatrix, leading to Albedo being genetically disfigured beyond repair. This resulted in his current base form being stuck halfway between human and galvan. Where Ben's Biomnitrix was a passion project, Albedo's Dualtimatrix was a work of hate and this is evident in Albedo's fusion forms, which tend to have a more brutal/unnatural appearance than Ben's. He is currently trying to figure out how to repair his damaged self, and hopes to do so by getting his hands on the original Omnitrix- and believes that Ken's is the key to finding it.

Okay, so was looking at unrelated stuff and guys Matt Wayne way back when confirmed that Kevin was just straight living at that garage in early OV. We don't have just the easy assumption I thought we did that Kevin was homeless in the early half of that season, we have WoG backing it up.
And babes that is homelessness, if there was a fucking apartment in the back or whatever a fucker probably wouldn't be sleeping on a cot. It's a fucking auto shop- more likely than not the boy is having to go to a secondary location to get a shower, a tertiary one to get a proper meal, and if he lost his job he would have been directly into living out of his car. Boy was fucking homeless.
And like that's already a thing. That means this boy has dealt with homelessness from at minimum the ages of 11 to 17-almost-18. Like that's fucked up and sad. Kevin is a child, he should have a more stable situation than all this. At least Ben and Gwen are consistently shown to have proper housing they can return to. But!
But. McDuffie claimed during UAF that Kevin had an apartment. WoG holds that he was housed during those series. Which would mean that Kevin either 1) followed Gwen out there, was blindsided with an inability to pay rent, and didn't turn his ass around, or 2) went out there with the full knowledge that he wouldn't be able to pay rent. Because I'm sorry, I'm doubting that the boy who was homeless when we met him and supposedly had a place before can afford rent and is going 'I'll just be homeless again it's fine' anyway.
And just, either one. Either one. Gwen is not worth that. Nobody is worth that. If you have a choice between homelessness and a long distance relationship, take the fucking long distance relationship! Kevin, I know the Null Void likely gave you a very low bar for acceptable circumstances but sir. Please.
When our best case scenario is that this boy chose homelessness over a long distance relationship- Somebody get him therapy please gods...
And the thing is from what we're shown it doesn't seem like Kevin is heavily involved in crime anymore at that point? Implying that he would have been affording housing because he was doing crime, which makes sense a teenager involved in the black market is more likely to be paying expenses than living for the thrill.
(But Achi he worked for the Plumbers for a while there- and how many of the general Plumbers do we see not housed in the base during OV? I don't think those fuckers pay well.)
But the point is, due to that I can't even be sure if the fact that Kevin is apparently homeless again in early OV isn't even blinked at is a continuation of UAF's failure the acknowledge key issues in Kevin's history- 'we don't want to touch on the fact this is a repeatedly homeless kid because cults and genocide are less dark we swear'- or an outcrop of the show's copaganda issue. Because OV is bad about 'just a few bad apples' and 'turning from crime means becoming a cop' and such like that, so the idea that this period of homelessness is fine because it shows he's not as involved in crime isn't out of their potential wheelhouse.
But again, we can't assume given the previous series was hitting on cults and genocides and drugs and Stockholm Syndrome and still didn't think homelessness was a topic worth broaching, and continuing that trend wouldn't be out of the ordinary. Fuck, if anything just mentioning his living situation at all was a step up.
In the end just, this fucking boy-

Ben is a Gemini sun, Sagittarius moon and a Leo rising and I shall not elaborate 🤷🏿‍♀️
Magister Arys looked at the message. It had been sent anonymously, to the Plumbers' Null Void base in general and not meant for any specific officer. But, it did seem to contain what looked like personal details about the Hero of the Universe, Ben 10,000. So, Arys decided it was not his problem and tagged it for Kevin.
Kevin, unfortunately, hit "Reply All" and so every member of his team (include the Null Void natives who worked with them) as received the same confusing message:
"BEN I KNOW ITS YOU! YOUR SIGN IS THE SAME IS GWEN'S STOP BOTHERING ME AT WORK! WHEN DID YOU BECOME AN ASTROLOGY BITCH ANYWAY? ...I liked you better when you were a narcissist."

How would Max, Carl, Sandra, Frank, Natalie, and Ken react to Ben holding a family meeting so he could have the lil chills meet the rest of the family? How would they react to Gwen and Kevin knowing about the lil chills before they did, and them not telling them?
Ooh, this is quite the meaty question 👀
First of all, I feel like it would be Gwen who practically forces him to hold the meeting. I've always thought Ben wouldn't be real keen on talking about the subject. Not bc he doesn't like the Little Chills but bc discussing the fact that you technically are a mother when you're a teenager and a guy at that is just a bit awkward. But, anyway, I think Gwen would eventually get guilty after being reminded of the Little Chills and she'd be the one to suggest they tell the rest of the family, especially Sandra and Carl.
Also, I feel like Max already knows and I’ll explain why. In Above and Beyond, Manny makes reference to Big Chill’s rampage. Now, Kevin could’ve very easily told Manny and the others about the incident at some point. Seems like a very Kevin thing to do. But I was struck with a thought: What if it was actually Grandpa Max who told them? This is like a whole ‘nother headcanon, but my thought was they told Max and he ended up letting it slip to the Plumber’s Helpers by complete accident. I also think Grandpa Max would be the only one Ben would willingly tell without being convinced by Gwen. Max would have an easier time wrapping his head around the concept and all since he’s been dealing with crazy alien stuff for decades at this point, but it would still come as shock. He was thrown into the Null Void for a few months and by the time he comes back, he finds out he’s a great grandfather lmao. And obviously, Max wouldn’t be upset that he wasn’t told immediately. Ben really didn’t have a chance until after he returned from the Null Void.
Anyway, on to the actual question! Let’s start with Sandra and Carl. They’d definitely be shell-shocked by the news. I’m sure neither expected grandkids for a hot minute considering how much of a trainwreck Ben’s love life is. Confusion is also a definite. “How is my teenage son a mother to 14 moth children?” I also really think Sandra would freak a bit. Like, she’d jump to conclusions based on human culture (ie she’d think he knocked some random alien chick up) and just be caught between all sorts of emotions. After the shock and an explanation, they would accept the Little Chills without hesitation. Sandra especially would love them, tho I think she’d be a bit hurt that she didn’t learn about them for so long. Carl doesn’t like it when Ben keeps secrets, but I think he’d be more forgiving this time since he could understand why he’d be hesitant to tell them. They’d both understand that the only reason Gwen and Kevin knew before them was bc they were there for the incident, and I think in the end they’d make a deal with Ben for him to NOT keep anymore alien secrets, even if they are really strange by Earth standards.
Next, Natalie and Frank. Natalie is so done with this weird alien shit LMAO. She doesn’t even bother asking, she just accepts the reality that there are 14 aliens in the family now. Frank is more shocked than his wife by the news, but he comes to understand the situation once the explanation is given. Ken would probably be the most lost on it since he was only recently introduced to extraterrestrial stuff. I think he’d be the one to sort of freak instead of just sitting there utterly dumbfounded. I don’t think any of them would be against the Little Chills. Natalie probably wouldn’t be ecstatic that her family tree is even weirder now. I don’t think they’d really care that they weren’t told for so long. Actually, Ken probably would since it sounds like he was at least sorta close to the two cousins. But at the same time, he’d probably understand since he was away at college and it was alien stuff, something he’s not really involved in.
Aight, I think that’s about all I got for this one! I hope the answer was sufficient! Also, sorry it took so long, I had a lot of thoughts but not enough time to type it all up in one sitting.

Are you going to Change the Negative 10 Line Up? If so Whats the new Team?
The Forever King, the Forever Harlequin, Charmcaster, Hex, Doctor Animo, Clancy, Zombozo, Psyphon, Kraab and Vulkanus. I'll go through each of them to explain my reasoning. The Forever King is obvious, the original one to have created the Negative 10. But I will showcases a bit more of an insight of the Forever Knights, and how they are split into four factions, Driscoll only being one part of it, same as Enoch. The Forever Harlequin is my replacement idea for the Forever Ninja, as he always felt out of place. The Forever Harlequin is a mysterious, voiceless female figure who appears to be the one middle ground member of the forever knights, making sure they don't do anything too stupid. She also has a wide arrange of strange attacks and weapons, and Ben doesn't like fighting her much as her tactics are normally annoying to deal with, haha. Charmcaster and Hex, to give more time to showcase their relationship, and the problems behind it and why they happened. I'm thinking of including a scene that has Charmcaster finally snap at her uncle, before running off to later appear in Alien Force again, while Hex finally starts to rethink the things he's doing. Perhaps Gwen even being the reason this outburst happened. Doctor Animo, cause I'm not gonna leave out best crazy sciencetist man. And I like the idea of showing him and Clancy sort of have this weird friendship, that only they get one another, due to their connection to animals. Zombozo instead of the circus trio, because he's supposed to be more of the major threat compared to them. I want to also keep playing into the mystery of what he is, and make him more horror-focused like in his first appearance. Psyphon is an interesting case, but basically, I've decided to have him from the start being Vilgax's minion, so he can be a showcase of one of the many worlds Vilgax's has conquered. His presence is also going to help me explain how Vilgax got out of the null void after the team-up with Kevin, as Psyphon manages to open the null void after sneaking away into the Plumber base, and basically ditches the Negative 10 the moment he gets Vilgax out of there. Meanwhile, Kraab was hired by Psyphon, without the others knowing, to make sure everything goes smoothly for him. Kraab pretending to be there because he hates the Tennysons (When really he doesn't care, he's just there to get a job done). While Vulkanus is there because he hates the Tennysons after their last encounter, stuck on earth due to his ship being destoryed. I would imagine him being the one to start a lot of arguments with the Forever King, due to the Forever Knight's hateful views on aliens.

FusionFall Headcanons: Academy Recruits
When the invasion first hit, Earth was in a mad scramble to get as many people as possible to fight it off.  If you weren’t part of a group like the KND, Plumbers, or Providence, you could easily sign-up as an independent agent with no questions asked.  While this did allow Earth to bring together a massive force in a short time, it also allowed individuals with less-than-pure intentions to join the Fusion Fighters simply for the benefits.  (For example, there were some cases of people joining as independent agents for the sake of being registered to the Resurrect ‘Ems and/or to get discounts at businesses who wouldn’t actually take on missions themselves or would allow their squads to carry their weight.)  As such, once the situation on Earth stabilized enough and the first batch of enlistments ended, stricter requirements for the army were put in place.
Numbers didn’t drop off significantly during this period. Most people who signed on as fusion fighters out of a genuine desire to defend Earth were pretty quick to register a second time since they wanted to see the war to its end.  As far as they were concerned, the fight wasn’t over until Planet Fusion was out of their solar system.  A small portion of the people who left the army were just tired or figured it was better “to leave the rest of the fighting to the real heroes,” like Ben, Rex, and the PPG.  As mentioned though, the biggest drop in numbers came from people who were trying to take advantage of the war, failed to prove otherwise, and would be replaced primarily with young hopefuls that saw Earth’s improved chances of surviving the invasion.
While independent agents had the most flexibility in terms of the jobs they could take or where they were assigned, many were left running from place-to-place, mission-to-mission.  If a veteran from the first batch of enlistments didn’t leave the Fusion Fighters, many still kept themselves on reserve or shifted into non-combat roles. Some of them would go on to teach at the Academy while others just wanted to focus on helping their own communities.  New recruits who would become independent agents themselves often got the best teaching based on experience out of these veterans.
While the Academy wasn’t the only means of recruitment, it was the Fusion Fighter’s answer to solving the recruiting issue: A way of giving the army a bit more structure and testing newcomers to see if they would even put in the work.
Many of the Academy’s graduates would become independent agents, but it wasn’t unheard of for the different divisions that made up the Fusion Fighters to use the Academy also as a means of scouting for new members, particularly the Providence and the Plumbers since the former’s HQ and the Null Void were used as training grounds.  A talented recruit could be called aside at any point in a request to join, followed by a transfer so that their training would specifically fit their new group.
Funding the Academy also meant more funding to arm the new recruits, hence why all of them are given a standard set of gear.  The first set of armor they’re given during training is an almost perfect match to a standard Plumber suit--notable differences in design including their grey color as opposed to white and more-fitted collar. Plumber suits are known to be easily modifiable, and these were fashioned more with humans specifically in-mind. Given this obvious connection, backed further by the uniform’s description, they were supplied to the Fusion Fighters by the Plumbers not only out of support in their fight against Fuse, but to get fusion fighters used to such gear early-on.  The suits can function in different environments, including space, which will be necessary when the fight is taken to Planet Fusion and other surviving worlds that Fuse also attacked.  Some adjustments were also likely made to increase defenses against fusion matter and the channeling of imaginary energy (IE).
Following that, there’s also the graduation uniform.  While there’s four different versions of it, they’re of equal durability.  They’re used for the ceremony, but are also often worn by fusion fighters for their first series of missions until they can better customize their gear.  This expected customization is the main reason why recruits are given a choice of the four.  Whether they make their decision as a sign of support to their leaders, to better camouflage themselves wherever they’re to be stationed, or simply due to personal taste is up to them.  Some may even just keep the uniforms strictly for ceremony period.  Nevertheless, it’s often the easiest way to recognize a newbie.
The training is so intense from the get-go and soldiers are still needed in the field so much that recruits can’t expect to spend much longer than two months at the Academy barring special circumstances.  In that time, they’ll get to know their fellow trainees pretty fast.  Working with them outside of the Academy is another matter, since they can expect to be stationed in different locations.  At most, people might stick with one or two of their training buddies who travelled with them post-graduation, partnering with them on early missions before they ultimately have to part ways.

This is a supplementary post to my fanfic Rook Gets The Omnitrix on Ao3 and FFN. This post will serve as a timeline for the story up for the main part of the story. It only includes summaries of the parts that were posted prior to part 4 so no spoilers if you are reading this when this is being posted. Later on I will post a full timeline.
The part in bold is formatted as “year of the events | title of the part of the story during that time | (corresponding part of the Ben 10 series)” followed by a list of significant events.
Year 0 | Mutability & Heroes Never Rest | (Original Series):
Harvest season begins.
Blonko discovers the Omnitrix.
Shar and Wat-Sen learn of the Omnitrix, helpingBlonko train with it.
Blonko encounters a few bounty hunters. Tetrax decides to quit being a bounty hunter and help train Blonko.
Blonko meets Xylene and Bahrvad.
Blonko sends Sevenseven and Eighteight to the Null Void. Tetrax and Wat-Sen send Kraab and Sixsix to the Null Void.
The harvest season ends. The village is attacked by Vilgax. Blonko is outed as a shapeshifter. Blonko is captured then saved by Wat-Sen, Shar, Tetrax, and his father. Vilgax is sent to the Null Void.
Blonko returns home but is rejected by his village. Tetrax takes him to the Plumber Academy where he meets Scout and begins calling himself Rook.
At the Plumber Academy, Bahrvad tells Blonko how he became a Plumber thirty years ago.
Year 1 | I May Be A Monster But You’re Dr. Frankenstein | I See Your Terror:
During a semester break, Bahrvad and Xylene take Scout and Rook to Galvan Prime
Rook and Scout attempt to talk to Azmuth but are pawned off onto Albedo
Scout and Rook meet a Galvanic Mehamorph envoy asking for help. Albedo tells them to ignore it but the envoy leads them to a crashed ship where they find Bahrvad’s friend Baz-I
Scout and Rook take Baz-I to Azmuth’s lab for helping, realizing something is wrong with them. Rook fights with Azmuth and Scout realizes the injustices against Galvanic Mechamorphs on Galvan Prime. They take in the envoy, calling him Ship.
Rook battles Malware and wins.
Rook and Scout are hailed as heroes. Albedo recognizes that this is wrong.
Scout and Albedo form a friendship, Rook learns Malware sees him as a brother, and Azmuth unlocks ten new aliens in the Omnitrix.
Baz-I is revived and Ship is permeantly put in Scout and Rook’s care
Rook and Scout return to the Academy
Rook masters the forms of his new aliens but struggles to master Terrorsaur, leading to a flock of Phantaisans sensing his distress and attacking the base. Rook loses control of this form and joins them.
Scout, with the help of Rook’s roommate and his friends, assist Bahrvad during the attack and freeing Rook.
Year 2:
You do not know what happened during this time yet. Assume that Rook and Scout continue their studies.
Year 3 | High Tide At Home | Hiraeth:
Rook and Scout pass their final exams. They visit Revonnah in hopes of training under Wat-Sen, only to learn he is training Shar. They compromise, splitting their training between Wat-Sen, Xylene, and Bahrvad.
Rook visits his family for the first time since leaving. There is some tension.
Scout begins a friendship with Rayona but is confused by her relationship with Rook.
Kundo attempts to kill Scout in front of Ship and Young One. Kundo is arrested.
While defending a village from muroids, Scout, Rook, and Shar learn that Sixsix, Sevenseven, Eighteight, and Kraab are controlling the muroids.
The Plumbers assist a nearby village with repairs. Scout speaks to the family Rayona will marry into and decides to stay out of it.
Muroids attack Rook’s village. Rook and Scout flee with Ship when Bahrvad and Xylene realize Vilgax may be out of the Null Void in addition to the bounty hunters.
Scout brings Rook and Ship to Anur Transyl where Rook’s Omnitrix locks up as it tries scanning new life forms. It turns him into Ghostfreak, a DNA sample already in the Omnitrix who looks startlingly like Zs’Skayr.
Scout, along with his pack leader, brings Rook and Ship to a local scientist who opens up the Omnitrix’s matinence panel so Scout and Ship can look around inside. They find Zs’Skayr attempting to hijack the Omnitrix and force him out.
Year 4 | (Alien Force begins):
You do not know what happened during this time yet. Assume that Rook and Scout get used to life on Anur Transyl, Rook masters the new forms, and that the people of Anur Transyl somewhat accept him.
Year 5 | Dissonant Strings (Omniverse begins):
Beginning of Dissonant Strings, where we start off.

3 for Kev and Rook!
3. Scars or painful spots
Rook
Most of my Rook’s scars or painful spots headcanons are about Rook when he’s older. 10,000 future or beyond. I imagine that under his photo-tech armor he’s got some slash marks on his chest that were deep enough to change the way his fur grows, and he has some bald spots on his arms from Null Guardian tentacles wrapping too tights around him and giving him a friction burn so bad the fur just won’t grow back. In addition to that, he’s also got knee pain and rib pain that ache in cold weather.
As for main era Rook, his hands are very calloused from living the life of a farmer before becoming a Plumber. But I don’t think calluses count as “scars”. Similarly, he’s very succorable to headaches and stress-related head-pains, but I also don’t think that counts as a “painful spot”. Ben just gives him headaches.
Kevin
Ah... Kevin... Several years ago, I did a drawing of Kevin and what I thought all his scars should look like. It’s buried somewhere on my blog, but I don’t feel like searching for it.
Anyway, Kevin has lived a hard life and he should have lots of scars. Some just superficial scars like when his mom got him vaccinated as a baby, or scraped knees and elbows from falling on the pavement. Kevin has always been scrappy and even as an 11-year-old child we see him getting into conflict with older people and gang members, so he’s had to have some split knuckles more than once. And he should have some sort of lasting mark from the first time he absorbed Ben’s Omnitrix, when just one arm and his head was a Pyronite. Maybe not a “scar” exactly, but some kind of discoloration on his skin. Or maybe his skin looks normal until you shine a black light on it and then you can see the pattern of a Pyronite magma coating on it or something.
But the most important scars in my Kevin head canon are on his arms...
[TW: ATTEMPTED SUICIDE MENTIONED, STOP READING HERE IF THAT WILL BOTHER YOU!]
On the inside of his arms, going all the way from the base of his wrist to the inside of his elbow. “Down the road, not cross the street” but you know what I mean. Not some small superficial cuts across the wrists, Kevin cut himself all the way up both arms. He was being serious. He was trying. He wanted to end it all. ...It happened shortly after the Ultimate Kevin incident where he almost absorbed Gwen. Kevin couldn’t see himself as anything other than a monster, he attacked several of his friends, and almost killed the woman he loved. Kevin was at his lowest point, didn't see any value in himself, and believed everyone he cared about would be better off without him.
[Trigger warning over, you may resume reading now.]
And, finally, as Kevin 11,000 in the Ben 10,000 future, Kevin develops blood pressure problems from all the stress of “taking over Rooks job of keeping the Rooters in line” and basically being the only authority in the Null Void. Maybe he also develops a heart condition from all his mutations over the years and all the stress it puts on his body.

Based off of @theangrycomet and their post about KO ending up in the Null Void. This is him approximately at the same age as Kevin Levin in Alien Force.
Details below!
After the events of "T.K.O.," KO is grabbed up by the plumbers and thrown into the Null Void. He's mostly left alone, but some aliens desperate for meat have attacked him (hence the scars and messed up nose)
While there he came across Kevin Ethan Levin who helped make him stronger. As well as the fact that Kevin would be able to use KO's powers when they take shifts sleeping.
Servantis found the two and put them through rigorous training as well as memory manipulation. A side effect of this was that TKO came out, a far cry than the boy Kevin bonded with.
However that changed when Argit came in. Kevin and TKO became like brother figures to the small porcupine creature.
After more time with training with Servantis, a portal to Earth opened, and Kevin, Argit, TKO, and a few other Amalgam kids went through it.
This turned out to be the work of Dendy and Rippy Roo, though TKO had little memory of them.
Over time though, TKO regained his memories as he, Kevin, and Argit worked at the Bodega. He still looks similar to TKO, but MKO is someone that most people enjoy hanging out with.
That isn't to say he doesn't get up to trouble though. Just like in Alien Force, Kevin and Argit deal in weapons, as well as MKO and Dendy.
MKO has a large grudge against the plumbers and he doesn't like the fact that Kevin starts working with Ben and Gwen.

In response to the Send me a Fandom post, I'll start with Ben 10!
Well technically you’re the second one to ask something for that, but I’ll still answer!
The first character I fell in love with: This one’s pretty obvious. It’s gotta be the main man himself, Ben Tennyson, wielder of the Omnitrix and saviour of the universe several times over! He’s generally always interesting to watch and see how he interacts with everyone else. His arrogance and childish nature can occasionally be annoying, but overall he’s a great character.
The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Probably Eon, specifically from the Race Against Time movie. He was the only actor in that film I felt was doing an actually good job, and I really liked his story in the film. I haven’t seen much of his later iterations though.
The character that everyone else loves that I don’t: OS Vilgax. He’s definitely the most imposing version of the character, but honestly he’s not really much beyond that and I’m just not all that into him as a character. After his first episode, Secrets, I couldn’t take him all that seriously every other time he showed up for some reason.
The character I love that everyone else hates: I actually have two I could talk about here, although both are Ben’s transformations and technically not characters of their own. Firstly, I think Nanomech is awesome! In concept he’s great, and although it’s used as a joke more often than not, I actually really like him in the show. He’s like a cyber fairy dude and I think that’s awesome. Secondly, Reboot Wildvine is in my opinion the better Wildvine. I just like him way more.
The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Cooper. I thought he was pretty cool in the OS, both in terms of his powers and his personality. I kinda wish he was more of a series mainstay at that point. But then AF decided to ruin him by making him into a fricking incel and it sucks. And a small personal issue, but I honestly thought he hadn’t really aged at all since the OS and was expecting them to bring it up. But I guess he’s just naturally short. Which wouldn’t even be an issue if UA didn’t make him all big and bulky.
The character I would totally smooch: Charmcaster, easily. Because I am a massive simp and badass hot evil magic ladies are the best thing in the whole world. Also she’s just really cool in pretty much every episode I’ve ever seen her in so far.
The character I’d want to be like: Gwen probably. She always sees the best in people and is always willing to go for the non-violent approach more often than anyone else, and she’s always logically planning and working out plans for what to do, unlike Ben and Kevin who tend to just want to muscle through more often than not.
The character I’d slap: Grandpa Max, because that dude has a lot of shit to answer for, like sending people into the Null Void without trial, particularly Kevin, the son of his actual old Plumber partner. He knew this and did NOTHING to help Kevin in the OS, and sent him into an alternate dimension prison. Not to say that Kevin in the OS was particularly good, but the fact that he pretty much never tried to do anything really just bothers me the more I think about it.
A pairing that I love: My favourite ship in the show itself is probably Gwevin, because I feel they have really solid relationship development throughout the show and play off each other extremely well. But if we’re allowed to get non-canon, I really love BenRex and BenRook. BenRex is honestly just a really cool ship to me and I still think Rook Blonko is the best OV love interst even though he isn’t an actual love interest.
A pairing that I despise: BenKai. It was handled like utter dogshit in Omniverse, to the point where Kai comes off as genuinely abusive to Ben at times. And overall I’m not a fan of how they had to retcon the show’s time travel rules just to make it work and forced this destiny angle onto it. I prefer characters getting together based on mutual feelings and development, not some external force drawing them together.
Thanks for the ask, Jamma!

Aster Roy Bio
Age: Unknown
Species: Undetermined; Null Void Colonist
Skin: Blue
Eyes: Black; maroon (Elemental Activation)
Hair: N/A
Attire: Black kimono-style garment with hat; opaque veil attachment, and fingerless gloves
Personality: Observant, protective, hardened, tactical, and cautious
Hobbies: Starmapping, collecting items
Likes: Protecting others, travel, fruit gummies
Dislikes: The Plumbers, warmongers, colonists in danger, Way Bads, outsiders, staying at one place for too long
Favorite Food: Fruit gummies
Favorite Beverage: Water
Pet Peeves: Personal questions as well as leaving tracks for anyone to find them
Role: Aster is a nomad who serves as a rare ally to Team 10. They spend their time traveling from colony to colony taking down warlords, criminals, corrupt plumbers, and other threats to the Void. These exploits led to Aster becoming sort of a mythical figure among the denizens of the Void - and one of the Plumbers AND Aggregor's greatest threats.
Abilities: Having been born with the Element of Void, Aster has a variety of powers including: teleportation, space manipulation, energy nullification, and some variant of telekinesis/levitation. They also have a fighting style not known on Earth, but based on stealth and manipulating the space around them. However Aster is not physically strong, and can be blindsided by ambush or sneak attacks.
Other
- Aster is nonbinary, with the pronouns they/them
- Their real "Colonist" name is unknown (and Aster hopes to keep it that way)
- Much of their backstory is unknown and for the sake of keeping them mysterious, I'm not going to reveal it either
- Their signature color is maroon
- The reason why I made them is because I wanted a character to serve as a POV for the Null Void, as well as a character who opposed the Plumbers without being a villain or demonized for said dislike.
- Originally Aster didn't take kindly to outsiders and took a long while for them to trust Jo. However they bonded over their similar life experiences and the revelation of them both being born with strange, nearly incomprehensible powers.
- They do not have a love interest
- Aster serves as a foil for Aggregor and Servantis
- I have yet to think of a VA (throw in your suggestions in the comment section)
- Aster's hat is based on the weimao a veiled hat originating from Ancient China (Sui & Tang dynasties, perhaps earlier than the Sui)
- Their name is a pun on asteroid

Okay so Kevin and a bunch of other people are snatched up a branch of the Plumbers. They're subjected to what is clearly for him painful experimentation, him and most of those that aren't presumably killed being trained as child soldiers by the creepy, manipulative, and most likely violent asshole running the joint. This same asshole not only eventually casts them all out into the wastes after wiping their memories, but also reprograms at least Kevin into a sleeper agent, including giving him memories of a fake father in order to push him towards joining the Plumbers himself.
This same fucker eventually comes to collect him for more experimenting, he and his team doing a shitload of damage just because they can. When he catches him and begins to take him away, despite having an idea of their plans the head Plumber in the region- his girlfriend's grandfather- only stops them when he realizes the asshole has mucked with his head as well to get him to keep an eye on his "experiments" (the actual word Max uses to describe them by the way).
After an escape followed by a long and stressful ordeal that ends in Kevin defeating asshole and his team, finally the Plumbers do something. The highest up in the Plumbers shows up and not only directly states that this isn't getting out, nobody can ever know, and that that these fuckers are above the law, but then just takes all the evidence and the base and otherwise leaves Team Asshole in the Null Void. An act that isn't even as big a punishment as it is for other people due to their training and still having basic supplies in their specialty uniforms, and does nothing to protect people from them and the brainwashing the asshole is very much and very openly capable of. So really the fuckers have at best been unleashed on a populated area with nothing left to lose.
And then the higher up just leaves, without sparing so much as a glance at the victims of a so-called experiment that they didn't keep any sort of eye on at best. There is and will be no trial, the only people held accountable have just been dropped on a load of unsuspecting people with nothing to protect them, after all this lot are above the law. There is and will never be any sort of acknowledgement of the trauma the victims all gone through, or even so much as an 'it sucks you went through that'. The matter is dealt with, everybody is expected to sit down, shut up, and be glad it's supposedly over.
And then this fucking show had the audacity to try to tell me Kevin went back to working with the Plumbers after that.

A Brief History of the Null Void
(( ~ OOC: This is the fanon history of the Null Void as it pertains to this blog and the tie-in fan fiction “Elevator Monologue” which can be read on AO3. ~ ))
...
The Null Void is a pocket dimension that exists outside of, but right next to real space. It was first discovered by Galvan explorer thousands of years ago. Galvan leadership decided that the best use for this new discovery was as a penal colony.
Tumblr media
Criminals, both native born Galvans and alien alike were sent to the Null Void to live out their sentences removed from the rest of society and real space as a whole.
For some, this was the worst fate. Banished to another dimension, never to see families or friends again. Set adrift in a harsh and unforgiving landscape.
While others saw it as an opportunity. A way to make their own life in their own world. To start anew with no history or baggage to weight them down. A literal clean slate. In this new world to settle.
Tumblr media
And settle it they did.
The Null Void settlers were responsible for the main agricultural advancement in the Null Void.
Tumblr media
Light is scarce in the Null Void, and fresh water even more so. Still, the Null Void settlers managed to yield a crop with enough nutritional value to sustain themselves. After several harvests, they managed to prefect the growing process enough to produce a surplus that could be traded with others.
But not everyone sent to the Null Void was as self-reliant or community oriented as the Settlers. There were still always those whom would rather simple take rather than trade.
As a solution to this problem, the Galvan leadership, the ones who’s decision it was to use the Null Void as a penal colony in the first place, created the Null Guardians.
Tumblr media
Artificially created lifeforms to act as watch dogs and protect the Settlers trying to make a new life for themselves.
As time went on and other planets and races discovered the Null Void, they started sending their own criminals and degenerates to the pocket dimension. The Null Void became a melting pot of different races, languages, cultures, and customs. Differed codes of ethics, and concepts of morality.
Eventually, it became too complicated for the simplified minds of the Null Guardians to maintain and the Plumbers had to step in.
They set up a prison in the Null Void.
Tumblr media
Incarcecon.
No longer should planets or Plumbers just be throwing criminals in the Null Void casually. Now defendants must be tried, judged, and sent to a prison where they could be kept away from the now-natives of the Null Void that just want to live their lives unmolested.
Incarcecon was a way to bring some version of order and safety to the Null Void. All run and maintained under Plumber purview.
Tumblr media
But even Plumbers are not above corruption.
Tumblr media
It was discovered that Incarcecon was built on top of a natural deposit of a unique mineral native to the Null Void. When ground down into a fine powder and inhaled, it would induce visions, hallucinations, and dreamsttates. Such a drug would sell very well on the intergalactic black market. A prison guard by the name of Morgg recognized this and staged a coup.
He took over the prison. Killed a number of inmates during the initial fight. Replaced all the other guards with robots loyal to him. And installed himself as Warden. In control now, Morgg converted Incarcecon from a prison into a forced labor camp. Using the existing inmates and any new inmates that were teleported in as slaves to mine his product.
This went largely unnoticed and unchecked by the Plumbers back in real space until Kevin 11,000 (whom was then known as “Ultimate Kevin”) returned to Incarcecon to exact revenge on Morgg for killing an inmate close to him. With Kevin came the Hero of the Universe, Ben 10,000 (whom was then still only “Ben 10″). Events unfolded as events involving Ben 10,000 usually do. The corrupt Warden was deposed and the inmates took over the compound.
Incarcecon still stands today. But it goes by the name the Free Fortress and the same inmates who once called it a prison now call it “home”.
Around the same time as Incarcecon’s slave labor, another Plumbers project was going on in the Null Void.
The Null Void was so full of different species and races, different languages and dialects, different cultures and customs, a project of Cultural Sensitivity began. A team called the Rooters and lead by a Proctor ranked Plumber by the name Hector Servantis.
Tumblr media
They were the first Plumbers unit to be based in the Null Void.
But they were not without their fair share of corruption.
Not long after the formation of the project, Proctor Servantis learned of a powerful piece of Galvan tech, arguably the most dangerous weapon in the known universe... and this advanced technology was given to a child. An Earthling child of the age of ten.
Human children that young should not be given that kind of responsibility. Human children that young were still learning right from wrong. In the hands of a child, the Omnitrix could un-make the universe.
Servantis switched his mission goal from cultural sensitivity and mediation to something entirely different and not at all in alignment with his original mission statement.
Tumblr media
In the end, not much came of the Rooters plans.
Eventually, the Magistrata was made aware of what Servantis was doing and confiscated his base, stripped Servantis and his Rooters of their ranks and privileges, and banished the team to the same Null Void they had abandoned.
No longer Plumbers, the Rooters became just another band of criminals sentenced to live out their remaining days in the Null Void.
And the Null Void was not as safe as it used to be.
Not to imply that the Null Void was ever “safe” to begin with. But, it had increased in dangers in recent years -mainly since Ben 10,000 (then “Ben 10″) began throwing his enemies into it without formal trial or sentencing.
Most notable of these dangers are the Mutant To’kustar, commonly referred to as “Way Bads”.
Tumblr media
The Way Bads continue to be a problem, as do the Rooters that the Magistrata left to wander the Void unsupervised.
In an attempt to solve these new issues, a new plan was implemented. Not another prison or a covert team to operate autonomously, but a proper Plumbers base, same as any outpost in any star system in real space.
A Plumbers Headquarters here in the Null Void.
Plumbers HQ-NV.
Currently, the base and corresponding Plumbers officers are running under the leadership of Magister Rook Blonko, a Revonnahgander from Revonnah.
Tumblr media
Magister Rook is the former partner of the famous Hero of the Universe, Ben 10,000 and has lots of experience mediating difficult situations.
However, there is a rumor floating around that another change in the Null Void’s Plumbers leadership is in the works...

jess makes a list, #1: rpg plots based on childhood tv shows.
preface: i grew up in the philippines, so some shows under may take from shows produced in the philippines. i am admittedly, a cartoon network kid first and human being second. also, this list doesn’t contain anime. that’s a whole other separate list.
tagging @endlessideasrph :) theres descriptions because i couldnt help myself rip
please like/reblog/reply if this helped in any way! hmu if you ever get an idea for any of these.
concept one: cn city.
remember those bumpers/commercials cartoon network used to have? where samurai jack and johnny bravo were doing laundry together? billy from grim adventures claps whenever a light was on, etc. that’s a great concept i’d like to see come to life. it’s a bit of a town/city au, everyone knows everyone type of thing. i did apply to a group with this concept, but it never opened :(
suggested genre(s): town rp, city rp, au rp, cartoon rp
show one: american dragon jake long.
“savior” tropes. supernatural creatures. jake isn’t the only protector, either. on the other side (the evil side), were the huntsman...who are hunters. sounds formulaic but still, it could be fun. have a talking dog here, and an elderly mentor there, and a little sister that somehow mastered her abilities earlier than you did.
suggested genre(s): supernatural rp.
show two: the secret saturdays.
cryptids. CRYPTIDS. also, from what i remember, the saturdays never really keep the cryptids, they just make sure they’re not any trouble. the big bad was someone that wanted to awaken a spirit that could control any cryptid. can be good for a small rp that wants to play a family of cryptid scientists. and their cryptid butler.
suggested genre(s): supernatural rp, family rp, small rp
show three: the life and times of juniper lee.
same base as adjl, but i do believe there is only one te xuan ze (protector/savior) at a time. so..good for a small rp, i guess? supernatural creatures are ‘hidden’ from regular humans by “the veil”.
suggested genre(s): supernatural rp,small rp, skeleton rp
show three: ed, edd, n eddy.
skeleton rp potential! just a bunch of kids (or teens, or adults finding each other back again) in a neigborhood kul-de-sac. good for developing characters and character dynamics.
suggested genre(s): small rp, skeleton rp
show four: codename, kids next door.
i’m fucking shaking. i love this show so much. i’ve read (and wrote) fanfic of how it could be when they are all grown up and not-really-operatives-anymore. could be a great spy/action rp tbh. somehow the decommissioning protocol messed up and the core four (numbuh 1 left remember lol rip) suddenly remember their knd lives. hmu if u do something with this.
suggested genre(s): spy rp,action rp,au rp
show five: hi hi puffy ami yumi.
musical rp where two friends (or a lot, who knows) tour everywhere with a crazy ass manager and two hella cute cats. chaos ensues.
suggested genre(s): musical rp, music rp, skeleton rp
show six: ben 10 franchise
this show’s got everything: aliens, towns, plumbers (not that kind), mana manipulators, half-aliens, hunters, null void prison, magic charms, alien pets, a cool watch, and a badass rv. seriously, any aspect of the show can be made into something cool. the plumber academy. the ragtag team of kind-of plumbers stationed on earth.
suggested genre(s): action rp, bio rp(if ya want), skeleton rp
that’s it for part one! thanks for reading <3

Since you all asked for it, here is the rewrite of the Rooter Arc! Including a few notes of their build up and everything. I have to admit that this was kind of a fun rewrite to do, as the Rooters had some interesting ideas behind them, if you remove the retcon stuff they do. But I hope you enjoy my take on this arc, given a lot of you didn't like it just like me.
Tumblr media
-Rooters’ History-
Over the many years that the Plumbers began to form, it became apparent that they needed a side group to deal with more darker tasks, a black ops. After much discussion, the Rooters were formed, which are a series of black ops groups that settle camp in different locations across the galaxy. These groups tend to be small, but heavily skilled, and answer to only Magistratas/Magistratus, who are the highest members of Plumbers, leading different sections of them throughout the galaxy.
One group of Rooters was placed in the Null Void, and watched over a Magistrata called Emera. This group consisted of four members. The leader Servantis, who is a Uxorite, Swift the Aerophibian, Leander the Appoplexian, and Zyme the Polymorph. Most of their tasks involved dealing with certain problems in the Null Void.
Servantis’s team spent years working like normal, following orders, and striving to do what was needed to get the job done. However, things would begin to change when crossing paths with Ben Tennyson, all starting after one mission where they were tasked to find a young mutated Kevin in the Null Void.
Once they found Kevin, they managed to catch him and bring him to earth to be helped. However, Servantis took notice of the boy’s mutations, and later on found out about the story behind Ben Tennyson and the Omnitrix. And something didn’t sit right with him.
They had also found Phil, who already seemed to be tampered with by Malware, Khyber and Dr. Psychobos. The Rooters decided to keep him around, especially after hearing about how he got to the Null Void in the first place.
On the side he began to keep an eye on Ben, who at the time was dealing with Malware, and then later Zs'Skayr. He researched what he could find on the boy and the watch, not liking the idea a child held such a tool. He did make a comment to Magistrata Emera if they should do something, but she said that Azmuth was the one to decide such a thing, and they are not able to disagree with the First Thinker for many reasons. So, Servantis stayed quiet.
He eventually stopped worrying as much when Ben decided to take off the watch, but kept an ear out after learning Azmuth let him keep it. As long as Ben didn’t put the watch back on, Servantis would be fine with Ben.
For the next few years, the Rooters somewhat forgot about the whole thing, caught up in work again, until the Highbreed and DNAlien stuff began rolling in. They were, of course, tasked with helping out where they could, mostly making sure the Highbreed don’t make any appearances in the Null Void.
One day a Highbreed does appear in the Null Void, having wandered near the base. They learn from it that it got trapped here because of Max, the man having used a faulty Null Void Projector. After capturing the Highbreed and sending them off to be questioned, the Rooters inform the Plumbers that Max is alive, and somewhere in the Null Void. They are tasked to go find him, which Servantis and Swift do.
While searching for him, they end up running into Ben, who got caught up in the Null Void by accident. The two, especially Servantis, are surprised to see Ben, and with the watch on again, having been too busy to hear the news beforehand. While unsure of him, they do let Ben join them in finding Max, given Ben eagerly wanted to join when hearing his grandpa was alive.
Servantis learnt a bit more about Ben that day, in both asking the boy questions, and seeing him and the watch in action. After helping find Max and bringing them both home, Servantis decides to go back to his research on Ben. Learning about new things he has done since getting the watch, including a certain story about Alien X’s debut…
As Ben gets involved with more stories and villains, like Aggregor, Dagon, Forever Knights, Servantis records down anything they find on him, and see him do. The Rooters even got involved during the Ultimate Kevin situation, being tasked with finding him once, and another time trying to kill him. The sight of Kevin's mutations, stories about Alien X and the Celestialsapiens, Servantis starts to fear Ben. Not feeling right about this, he decides something must be done, and thus begins to make his plans that take over a year and a half to make.
Meanwhile, Ben has made a few comments about the Rooters to others here and there, not believing the Plumbers should have a black ops team. But he doesn’t speak about the topic much.
Eventually, the Rooters get everything they need, and wait for Ben to get back from his adventures from the Anur System to make their move...
-Rooters Arc-
After the exhausting events of the Anur System and dealing with Zs'Skayr, Ben returns home with Rook and his small team to take some time off to relax. Ben is still recovering from his encounter with Zs'Skayr, since it always leaves him feeling off. At the very least Anur Aliens are now learning to move away from their old leader, and may be willing to make some agreements with the Plumbers.
While on break, Ben tries to spend some time with Kai, since the two got together right before he left for the Anur System. And things...don’t go entirely well. It’s clear to most that their relationship isn’t really working out, as the two originally got together due to feeling so lonely in their romantic life. While it’s clear they can make good friends, they’re not amazing when it comes to being girlfriend and boyfriend, but both are too scared to say anything about it.
Trying to distract himself, he finds that Gwen and Kevin are visiting Bellwood during a college break, and Ben is eager to spend time with them, and Rook. The Plumber Kids even join in, as they too are treating themselves to a break from work. The teens chat about some of their old adventures, sharing some stories with Rook.
However, after a few days of resting, Ben starts to feel like something is off. For starters, he knows he can be a bit clumsy and forgetful, but for some reason things around him seem to be going missing, misplaced, or moved ever so slightly. It’s not strange enough to seem like something is wrong, as everyone tells Ben, but he can’t help but feel like something is going on. Doesn’t help when he starts to get headaches, random spikes of dizziness, and just feeling unwell in general. Many suggest he’s getting sick, and he agrees, though his gut is telling him otherwise.
The illness doesn’t seem to go away when he gets back into doing some missions, the worst part being it comes and goes at random times at the start. Though eventually it starts to stick and he begins to feel awful all the time, no matter what he does. Rook and some others eventually convince Ben to go home and rest, despite his arguments.
His friends visit him here and there, like Kevin and Gwen, and while Ben does raise concerns if this is a flu or not, they tell him to rest up for a bit and to wait and see what happens. If it gets worse, then they’ll do something about it. Kai also visits, and the two do have a nice moment together, just talking about life and how times have changed.
Things suddenly take a turn one day when Ben leaves his room for a minute, only to come back and see a white Polymorph woman, dripping an unknown liquid into his drink. Ben panics, and transforms to fight her, the two briefly brawling before she manages to run off. Unnerved by what happened, and Max showing up after Sandra and Carl called him during the fight, Ben takes his drink and heads off to the Plumbers with Max, needing to understand what just happened.
After explaining what he saw, Ben is told to wait as Max talks to the Plumbers, also waiting for Blukic and Driba to learn what was placed in Ben’s drink. Still feeling sick, Ben sits around, and is eventually found by Rook, Gwen, Kevin, Kai and the Plumberkids, asking what was going on. Ben explains to them, and tells them that he thinks he’s been being watched ever since he got back from the Anur System, likely someone else out to kill him or take the watch.
However, midway through their conversation, a strange looking device drops down in the middle of them, bursting into a quick portal that takes Ben, Kevin and the Plumber Kids away, leaving behind Rook, Gwen and Kai in surprise. Other Plumbers come after hearing what happened, and everyone begins to panic over what just happened.
Ben, Kevin and the Plumber Kids find themselves in the Null Void, eventually greeted by the Rooters, minus Swift. Ben quickly points out that the Polymorph with them is the same one who attacked him, along with remembering the Rooters back during the Highbreed issue. Kevin also recognizes them faintly from when he had been mutated as a kid. Servantis, annoyed that Kevin and the others are here too, tries to play things off at first, telling the group they’ll take them home. Zyme even tried to explain that she was watching over Ben, being tasked by the Plumbers to watch out for him as there appeared to be someone after him. However, it doesn’t take long for Ben to realise that it must be them, and a fight breaks out between both sides. Despite there only being three Rooters at the time, they are quite hard to fight, and the teens have to run off when Ben’s illness appears to be getting worse.
The teens manage to lose them, but get caught up in the dangers of the Null Void, doing their best to protect themselves, and Ben. Getting suspicious, Ben tries to ask the Omnitrix what’s wrong with him, but gets no response. After looking over the watch, he finds a tiny little chip attached to it, some kind of bugging device that, while couldn’t do anything massive to the watch, appeared to keep it’s healthy scans offline. With that gone, the Omnitrix explains that Ben is not ill, instead poisoned.
Meanwhile, back at Plumber base, Blukic and Driba also learn about the poison through their scans on Ben’s drink. They discover it’s a very toxic poison found in the Null Void, one that could kill a human easily. Only reason Ben is still alive is because of the watch, the Omnitrix fighting against the poison, but even it is so potent that it can still make Ben sick. While that is found, the Plumbers are checking the security systems to figure out what happened, and while most of the video footage is corrupt, they are able to restore enough of it to see it was a Null Void bomb that struck them, though they have no idea who threw it.
With this info, different Plumber groups set out to head into the Null Void in different locations of it, due to not knowing exactly where Ben and the others are. Rook, Gwen and Kai go too, with Gwen planning to use her tracking spell to find them. The Plumbers also inform the Rooters, who play along and pretend like they’re helping, but knowing full well they are running out of time to complete their plan.
Kevin eventually finds his group a safe place to hide and rest, the team discussing what to do. They know enough that the Rooters are after Ben, most likely to kill him, and given how they are trying to be secretive, will most likely kill the others so people don’t know the truth. They start to make plans, including the idea of finding the Rooter’s base, knowing full well it will have a way home. However, an argument breaks out between Kevin and Ben when it comes to the idea of the Plumbers having a black ops team. Ben says the Plumbers shouldn’t need them, and are far better off without them, but Kevin actually disagrees. He knows that sometimes you have to do shady and unpleasant things in this world to help, even admitting that he doesn’t blame the Rooters or the Plumbers for trying to kill him when he went rogue after the Aggregor thing. The two can’t seem to agree on how to view this, while the Plumber Kids stay out of it due to it not being their place to make such a call. This whole thing leaves a bitter feeling on both Kevin and Ben.
Gwen, Kai, Rook and their team arrive, with Gwen already starting her magic. It’s not easy though, due to how the Null Void functions. Her location spell is wonky with the environment, but she gets a faint trail they can start following.
Meanwhile, at the Rooter base, Swift arrives back and learns what’s going on from Servantis, him also being mad she used the Null Void bomb on others who weren’t Ben. Servantis thinks things over, and eventually has it that Zyme and Swift should head out to find the group, while Servantis, Leander and a crazed Phil wait at base, knowing this would be the only place for them to go to.
Back with Kevin, Ben and the Plumber kids, Kevin and Ben talk again after calming down. They open up a bit, with Ben explaining to Kevin that while he remade the universe, something the world knows after the Celestialsapiens basically announced it, he admits that not everything is the same. He couldn’t make a perfect copy, and one difference that has hurt him was Kevin and Gwen leaving so suddenly. He knows he can’t be mad with them since it was a change he ended up creating, but he can’t help but be upset over it. Kevin himself talks about how this hiding place was an area he found when trapped in the Null Void, and talking about how scary it was to be alone in a place like this. After reconnecting, Kevin makes a comment saying he promises to get Ben out of here safely, no matter what it takes. Though Ben does beg Kevin to not absorb DNA from the watch if it ever comes down to it, not wanting a repeat after the Aggregor arc. He admits he’d rather die to a villain than let Kevin be harmed like that again, and while Kevin doesn’t feel comfortable with that, he agrees not to pull that move ever again.
Swift suddenly appears, but the group narrowly hides from her. Thinking that all the Rooters are out looking, they figure that this is their chance to go to their base, and find the portal back home. As they begin to head out, the Plumber Kids chat with Ben as well, having heard him talking about how lonely he’s been feeling. They apologise for not making enough time for him anymore, though Ben also admits he understands their work comes first, and the group agree to just a little bit harder to have quality time together.
Back at Plumber base, Blukic and Driba are looking over the video footage, regarding the Null Void Bomb. They end up analyzing it, and spotting something in it, that being the dark figure of Swift, and more noticeably her Rooter symbol in a few frames. Finally piecing together what is going on, the two Galvans rush off to find a certain someone.
Gwen, Kai, Rook and their team find the hiding area Ben and the others just were, knowing they are close. Gwen is doing her best to stay calm, but her anxieties are getting a little much for her, wanting to make sure Kevin and Ben are ok. Kai and Rook support her as best as they can, wanting the others to be safe too.
Eventually, Ben and the group arrive at the Rooter Base, at first thinking they’re alone as the place seems shut off. However, just as they step far enough into it, everything switches on, including the security system that already targets them, and when Servantis, Leander and Phill appear, the team has to split off in the end. Helen with Manny and Alan, Cooper with Kevin, and Ben with Lucy.
Cooper and Kevin end up having to face Leander, the quiet and calm Appoplexian who proves to be a challenge to fight. He even manages to use his wrist blades to cut two slices down Kevin’s chin, most likely going to leave a scar.
Manny, Helen and Alan end up having to fight Phil, who goes full beast mode as it appears he’s no longer himself. Instead now a mesh between his monster side, and his human side.
Ben and Lucy end up having to face Servantis, but due to Ben’s illness he falls pretty quickly. Lucy does her best to defend Ben, even shapeshifting to look like him to draw Sevantis away, but she is unable to outsmart the Rooter leader. Lucy is taken down, while Servantis takes Ben.
While dragging Ben with him, Ben starts to question what Servantis is planning, why he is doing this. Servantis explains that he sees Ben and the watch as a danger, a problem that if left on it’s own, could mean the end of their world. Ben tries to counter this, saying he’s a hero, but Servantis points out that he literally remade the world, and while Ben has his reasons, it’s enough to showcase that if Ben wants to, he can make other changes with the click of his fingers. Even mentioning Dagon, who almost swayed Ben into using his power to wipe out all evil. Servantis simply can not trust Ben, and must do what he thinks is best for the universe. And since he knows he will not be able to convince the Plumbers or Azmuth, then he has to get rid of Ben himself. In Servantis’s mind, he thinks he’s protecting the world from the true threat, Ben Tennyson.
Meanwhile, Helen, Manny and Alan manage to finally bring down Phil, just in time as Lucy wanders in, wounded as she frantically explains that Servantis has Ben. Knowing this can’t end well, they quickly rush off to find him, or the others.
Elsewhere, Kevin and Cooper are unable to beat Leander, being backed into a corner, when suddenly Gwen and the others arrive, coming in to save them. After Gwen freaks a little over Kevin’s wound, and him saying he’s alright, they all calm a little as Kevin and Cooper explain the truth behind what’s going on. Just as they finish, the others run in and explain that Ben and Servantis are somewhere together, and they all band together to go find them before it’s too late.
Servantis takes Ben to a room he’s been preparing for years, having created a massive machine that he’s built to not only destroy Ben, but also the watch, knowing full well that the little device he has will try and keep him alive, and is powerful in it’s own right. Ben tries to stall him, along with saying that he can’t break the omnitrix, but deep down he is scared that Servantis might actually win. Though just as he’s about to toss Ben into the machine, everyone else busts in, Kevin right away diving forward and smacking Servantis away, saving Ben.
Not willing to give up, Servantis starts up his security drones and machines, along with Swift and Zyme showing up to join the fight, both sides throwing down. Ben even joins in, as while he still feels awful, he doesn’t want to feel so weak and helpless.
The battle is long, brutal, and rough, both sides throwing nasty shots, the few Plumbers that came with Gwen having been killed too. But with teamwork, use of powers, and some leadership from both Kevin and Ben, they are able to back the Rooters into a corner, Kevin and Ben boxing in Servantis.
Servantis knows he has lost, but still coldy speaks his thoughts about Ben, saying he’s no hero, that he will be the villain they’ll all fear one day. Ben, having had a crap time for the past few weeks, the illness flaring his emotions, and Servantis’s words digging away at him, briefly snaps. He turns into Alien X, threatening to wipe Servantis from existence after everything he has done. Servantis even seems to want Ben to do it, as it would prove his point that Ben is a danger, with powers he should not have. But Kevin steps in, facing Alien X with no hesitation as he tells Ben to stop, knowing this isn’t him, nor what he wants to do. He tells Ben that he gets it, having all this power, wanting to use it all to get back at people, he’s been there. But just because he can, doesn’t mean he should, and that Ben is far better than this behavior, far better than Kevin ever was. And...it’s enough to make Ben stop, the hero changing back and stepping away.
Servantis goes to do something, but is stopped when Blukic and Driba arrive, along with Magistrata Emera, her presence being enough to stop them all. She calls the Rooters off, and explains how angry she is over their betrayal, and wants the entire team arrested. Other Plumbers arrive, and take the Rooters away to be dealt with, and Phil to be checked over due to his mutations. Magistrata Emera apologizes to Ben, admitting she should have been keeping a closer eye on the Rooters, and promises to never let this happen again. Kevin steps in, wanting a word with her, and explains that while he agrees with the Rooter idea, they should switch out members with new ones, to allow less corruption over time. She agrees to Kevin’s idea, and later will ask him to be the overseer of the Null Void Rooter group in the future.
Ben is cured from the poison, recovering back home as he thinks about the whole thing. He begins to question the use of Alien X, and whether Servantis was right or not. Ben does have a lot of power to do things, and he knows he’s not using all of it, fearing he’ll go mad with power, or make the wrong move with it one day. His friends come and visit him, and they talk to him about this problem, telling Ben that they trust him to make the right calls. Ben also reflects on his actions over the year so far, in how he’s been running from so much, and dealing with denial...knowing that soon, he has to stop running, and start facing what he’s been trying to avoid one day.
