This art stars Dune Bug ✨ 🪲, the Dung Beetle wizard from Skylanders Swap Force, a somewhat forgotten Skylander, but one that certainly attracts me, like every existing insect 😅😂😁🪲

Another concept test for Foster/Superfan while at Blue Sky studios . We were playing around with a magical race whose magic was all illusion based. They were flashy and over the top, and their costumes/clothes would constantly change and shift depending on their mood/feelings/attitude. I thought the Chris Tucker from Fifth Element bit would be perfect for the test. Tried to get some Genie from Aladdin energy in there as well. Had a lot of fun with this one!

"Change my Mind!"

Multimera is a young Magic element chimera with the ability to change his powers. When his power changes, so do the colors on his wings, mane, and body markings (pink for magic/default, red for fire, blue for ice, and yellow for lightning.) He is also the main protagonist for my upcoming story, Fire, Ice, and Lightning.

Ever since the SuperChargers vanished The Darkness from Skylands, Multimera has always dreamed of becoming a Skylander, and so when one day when the Academy was looking for new cadets to join, he immediately rushed to apply. When he found out he was enrolled, he was ecstatic. He later met up with Spyro, his training partner, and his roommates, Burnout the fire salamander, Snowstorm the ice wyvern, and Thunderstrike the thunderbird. Overtime, thanks to his training partner and roommates, the young chimera would learn to control four different powers of magic, fire, ice, and lightning.

I actually love how ugly Merlin's outfit is in Merlin. BEFORE YOU YELL AT ME - I love his outfit, I think it's fun, but when you look at every other character, even other peasants, he literally is wearing ill fitting rags. Everything is too big on him (despite being like six foot but whatever) and his silhouette reeks of boring character design.

But like!! Yeah!! He is just Some Guy. I love how they never give him som epic mage robes or a cool outfit for more than thirty seconds. He is unassuming. He's over here, commanding dragons and controlling the weather in the medieval equivalent of stained sweatpants and a night shirt. It's great.
