hello! is it fine to ask where i can read the magia record main story and another story mangas w eng translations? mangadex only has eng trans of the first two volumes of the main story sadly :(( and ive been seeing another story mangacaps appearing on pinterest so i got very curious .. Nyaa has all 4 currently translated volumes available for download along with Another Story, but you'll have to torrent them. Torrenting is super easy, just download qBittorrent or another client.

I'd definitely recommend investing in a VPN if you plan on continuing to torrent in the future though, as your internet service provider can crack down on you if they notice you pirating. But just downloading a couple of torrent files to get this manga is very unlikely to attract any attention, if you're worried about that.

Not a leona related ask but what if aniplex pull a move on twst eng like they did with magia record, they suddenly shut down the app 💀 I saw some complaints from other twst fans/players about it being shut down in one year like magireco if aniplex keep it region-locked 🤔😈

Considering the quality of the official TLs I wouldn't be surprised, but I doubt it'd get nerfed in a year. But I can't even say those TLs have turned people away because I know ppl are going to complain about it in the exact same breath as downloading third-party apps to bypass the lock solely to download it anyway.

Not to be that person, but TWST's appeal to BL fans and literally anyone that's obsessed over a vaguely pretty anime boy ever will probably keep it alive nonetheless with them shelling out money to the characters they obsess over. Even if not just BL fans, it'll probably survive because male characters inevitably always get special treatment from fandom compared to something driven by female characters like Magia Record. Nor does it do what Aniplex's FGO does by having 60,000 scantily-clad, scoliosis-ridden women (and children) for guys to whale for. This is a good thing BTW. "But Dani, there've been male idol games shut down in EN". Those games don't have Michaelis Mouseman and rose-tinted nostalgia mixed with edgy bishonen boys fueling their existence. Let alone Yana Toboso's name attached to it.

That said, a lot of the EN fandom seems to consist of minors, so unless they're wasting their money on the bishie Disney gamble game or using their parents' credit cards, it would have to depend on inevitably overly dedicated fans to keep it alive in a locked NA release.

I heard on Twitter that the new content being released for TWST Eng is a lot. Some people are fearing that if everything gets released too much & too fast it will end up like Magia Record NA.

Please don’t end up like Magia Record NA, Twisted Wonderland Eng. Slow down on releasing content. I don’t mind waiting (FGO Player here). The wait will be worth the effort of making it a great game

i'm not the right person to ask that bc i mostly just rotate between 5 apps nndbfbdnnf

keep in mind i dont really like games like a3 which are wholly story-driven and have no actual gameplay other than card collection, so you're gonna have to ask someone else for recommendations on that, but if you're open minded here's some recs from me

rhythm games:

love live is a long-running franchise so there's A LOT of content and many various characters to work with, the game is rather polished, if not a little cluttered bc of the updates over all those years, the gacha mechanism has become very generous too so thats refreshing, and as for songs you can find music of various genres but all within similar quality so its nice, i would consider the art style its biggest flaw, but we cant have everything

project sekai is fairly fresh (the en servers were just opened in december) and i very much prefer the gameplay of it to love live sif, it feels very clean and satisfying to play, the art style is also lovely, as is the music which additionally gives many great indie producers a better platform, the worst thing about it is the gacha though (the odds arent very high and the pity system is as ridiculous as on a3)

titles i dont play regularly but still think are fun: arcaea, dynamix, uta no prince sama, deemo

team-building games:

love live school idol festival all stars is a spinoff of sif, it focuses mostly on building your team and making your girls stronger, the gacha is pretty generous in my opinion, as it tends to be in this franchise, i find art much better here than in sif, the MVs are a lovely part of this game, a HUGE plus of this game is how easy it is, sometimes you just need to play a game casually and still do well bc you cant afford to use upore of your energy (i can assure you you can get every event UR just by doing your dailies, ive done so multiple times before)

revue starlight re:live is a very addictive team-building game which i'm pretty sure was based of magia record, the mechanics of it are the exact same so if you've played magia record you know what to do; you collect stage girls, make them stronger and fight monsters/other stage girls, i have to say i pretty much only play this game because of nana and fumi anymore; the gacha and the related to it pvp are awfully unfair and unbalanced, the game keeps releasing new game-breaking girls every few days and it's simply impossible to pull every single banner if you're f2p, so pretty much everyone in pvp ranks above S is p2w

grand chase is another one that i havent played in a while but its a huge comfort game, the music is super nostalgic and the modern re-designs of all my favorite characters are so high tier

idle games my guilty pleasure:

masketeers has been my most recent addiction, the art style is lovely and its not littered with ads whenever you touch your screen, their there but its Actually optional

other idles i used to play a lot but i took a break and now the sole thought of opening the app fills me with unreasonable dread: legends of idleon (top tier), afk arena, pet idle

other games i dont know how to categorize but good games for killing time: evan's remains, data wing, fantasyxrunners, magic survival, meow tower, old friends dog game, post knight, sky children of the light, sonic forces running battle, world flipper, zen koi

You think Twisted Wonderland will come to USA in an English version? I mean has there ever been anything that’s Disney that hasn’t?

I sincerely hope so. It’s gotten popular and trending on top spots (at least from the posts I see with twitter and its tags). It’d be wise for Disney to make that possible since they love cash grabbing (not that I’d ever spend money on a f2p “free-to-play” mobile game but I digress), otherwise I will riot 😤.

Since Aniplex is on this, for Magia Record I think it took 2 yrs for an English release.

I think generally most JP apps get English versions for that much time. I play SINoALICE and learned it first released in March 2017 and got an eng release just recently around June/July 2020. At least I didn’t jump in the bandwagon from the beginning when it took more than 3 yrs for it to come out lol.

So we may expect 2 yrs at bare minimum for eng twst to come out. 😭 Gotta let one year pass then the next year for the devs to even consider an eng release before it becomes official I guess.

I pray I get to play before I graduate from college in the next four years 🙏 Pls twst...
