Oooh from that ask game, I was curious about both "She Burns with the Light of a Thousand Worlds" and "Spiderverse but with Danny Phantom" they both sounded really intriguing!

I’m going to start with “Spiderverse but with Danny Phantom”, because “She Burns with the Light of a Thousand Worlds” is a whole thing!

For “Spiderverse but with Danny Phantom” - you know that tumbl post that went around where some spider dude thought they had cockroach powers, and they made their whole shtick cockroach-themed, but then they got pulled Into the Spiderverse and realized, “oh no, oh no I got it wrong, this is so embarrassing, I am having a crisis” - etc.? So, that, but with Danny Phantom. All I have written in the doc is this:

“Let’s do this one last time. My name is Danny Fenton. I was bitten by a radioactive portal, and for three years I’ve been the one-and-only Danny Phantom. I don’t know what I’m doing here any more than you do - maybe there was a radioactive spider in the portal or something? Maybe it fused with me in the accident… oh no. Am I part spider???”

[Danny proceeds to have a crisis on screen, and we move on to Peter Porker]

And that’s what I got!

“She Burns with the Light of a Thousand Worlds” is a story that came to me in a dream. Literally.

One night, I had one of the strongest, most vivid story-based dreams I’ve ever had, and when I woke up from it, I had to write it down. I also had to hum into my phone the base melody of the song that was central to the dream, but it turns out the song was “Salut d'Amour, Op. 12” by Edward Elgar, so I don’t even have to go and create it!

Below is the beginning of the doc I have for this story:

This story takes place in a version of the DC universe. A weird, red and black spaceship (an egg, really, but not shaped like any egg we know) hurtles to Earth, and the Justice League goes to investigate. “Salut d’Amour” starts playing in the Flash’s head, shortly before the ship opens and disintegrates, releasing a beautiful golden bird. The bird flies almost impossibly fast, but Flash is just able to keep up, and finds her when she’s ready to be found, the Justice League trailing behind him. She appears then as a little girl playing a simplified version of “Salut d’Amour” on violin. She explains that the world of her parent was destroyed, and she is the only survivor, and she just wants a home - a place to build her nest. Her parent was wasteful, negligent of that world. They built their nest too big and intrusive, and the world paid for it. She does not want that for this world - she will be careful, and resourceful, and she will make sure her nest holds a symbiotic relationship with the world around her.

By this time, her simple song is playing in all their heads. She has tugged on all their heartstrings - she is a baby, an orphan, the last of her kind. She just wants a home - a place to build her nest. The JL agrees to help her. She hugs Flash, who was her greatest supporter here, and beams up at them all, and they all feel incredibly warm and fuzzy inside. This is the right thing to do.

Her nest, like the song she sings, starts out small and simple. As she grows, though, her song grows, and she needs to build a bigger, more complex nest. Rather than building a new nest separate from the old like her parent did, she incorporates the old nest into the new. As she promised, she forms a symbiotic relationship with nature, and with humanity. When her nest is big and complex enough, she lets the humans form a community college there - one which specializes in conservation, mutualistic architecture, and the study of aliens and alien worlds.

And that’s where things start! The story, the song, and the nest grow in size and complexity as this little girl grows into a powerful young woman. I won’t say more, because this is a WIP that I do really want to write! That dream I had really popped off, and I want my writing to match!

I know I just threw another @maebird-melody piece out there this morning, but look... They are pretty line arts. I had to. This one is special as it's the art I learned how to purposely change line art colors (yes, this is like so many pieces into @green-with-envy-phandom-event, but I know so little about art programs that it's all a new challenge.)

For AMM: Ultraman Rising, a delightful animated film that really focused on parent-child relationships, teamwork, and vulnerability. While you could read romantic undertones into Sato’s relationship with the reporter, to me at least it reads more like male-female friendship. He goes to her for advice and trusts her because she’s willing to look past the egotistic front he puts up.

I love a good DP x Miraculous crossover. What if the Dupain-Chengs had the same enthusiasm for capturing and fighting akumatized villains that the Fentons have towards ghosts? And they believed that Ladybug and Chat Noir were somehow connected to the akumas and needed to be stopped? Bonus points if Gabriel Agreste gives off Vlad Masters vibes, cause I mean Vlad does have a basement full of clones trying to build a perfect son.

Anyway, while I love MLxDP crossovers, I have a hard time imaging the Dupain-Chengs like that…. On the other hand… GA giving out VM's vibes… sounds hilarious XD XD

It would be like one of those memes of find the difference between two visually different pictures, but basically the same characters. I mean, Vlad and Gabriel can be the same in that context, and that's hilarious. You said it, one does his own basement with clones and the other it's a lair… Gabriel just needs a lab on it… wait, he may have one, just to support the support life of his wife…. just saying.

I may do something with that, comparing Gabriel and Vlad, thanks for the idea. :) :)

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction?

I've always written original stories, but it actually took a while for me to get into fanfiction because of the bad rep it has, but in high school I found this one HTTYD fic that was so well written. I reread it quite a few times, but it took over a year before I looked at other fics in any fandom. But I started writing fics pretty quickly after that. I immediately loved the no one knows AU for the phandom, but couldn't find a fic that really satisfied me, so I decided to write it myself, and now here we ware.

🐇 ⇢ do you prefer writing original characters, reader inserts, or a mix of both? 

OCs all the way. I don't like reader inserts. I don't want to be in the story, I just want to experience it through the characters.

🏜️ ⇢ what's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

The long and rambling kind! Someone once gave me a review that was all the live reactions they had sent to their friends. They copied every single message they had sent in a group chat and pasted it in the review box, and it was amazing.

RE: Dragon Age Inquisitor Lore- Tahrisi Lavellan was my Inky. She was a quiet but precocious child, always ready with a question for her Keeper. She loved spending time with her brother and would go with him on hunts, until he died on one such trip when she was 16. After that, she threw herself into her studies with the Keeper. As Inquisitor, she was softspoken and uncertain, but Solas' encouragement slowly built her confidence, which is partly why she romanced him. Now, she wants to save him.

I absolutely adore the nature of your Inky's relationship with Solas. I love the quiet strength and determination she has. She will definitely save him <3

Ok this one I tried branching out and adding a story-ish element of the Staff of Time changing its chosen wielder into the Master of Time. Idk if it comes across well but I at least tried ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thank you for such a cool Clockwork piece to play with @maebird-melody for @green-with-envy-phandom-event

More coloring for @green-with-envy-phandom-event this time with some tasty Clockwork lines by @maebird-melody. Really wnated to play with more abstract stuff for the background to make you feel like you're watching someone powerful at work, but not be too overwhelming.
