Solo 18km ski in the slot car tracks at Ganaraska Trails were groomed this week which made them so much faster and smoother than last week. Snow was a mix of sticky and icy .. every downhill was a surprise of I was going to push down or fly down 🤣🤣🤣 Never a dull moment with my adventures. Unfortunately I picked up a nasty blister on my thumb .. guess the pole strap was in the wrong place for too long. Safe to say with confidence, we’ve successfully hacked the system. Just get some back country skis with metal edges and go. Go across fields and through woods, through backyards and back roads, follow animal trails and VAST trails and any other trails that pull you toward them, don’t ask, just ski, even while trespassing- owners are more curious than violated. I never love winter more than when I’m skiing home before dark and the sky lights up in its dusky flare before giving over to the night. Ульяновск. В спринте был 5, в масстарте стрельнул 0-0-2-2, шел в лидерах после лежки, но промахи на стойке позволили только за третье место на финише бороться. Увы, немного проиграл и остался с деревянной медалью. Тренируемся дальше )) . Who thought that all that snow would be a curse? Trails weren't groomed and had an icy crust on top. The snow was really wet and sticky .. turned my skis into mouse glue boards. Added to that was a snowmobile chewing up the trails. Roller ski session on Grossglockner

Grossglockner is the highest mountain in Austria. A roller ski session will depending on the start point take around 2h30 and is around 23 km long. I followed British Biathlete Gareth Griffin on his classic training session up the mountain. 

This was just his morning session in the afternoon he still had another two hour hard running session.

Отличная поездка в Рязань! . Да, в этот раз без медалей, не удалось побороться за призы. Приехало порядка 120 участников со всей России. Я два раза 6-ой и в эстафете мы 10-ые. . В Рязани совершенно уникальный биатлонный комплекс с шикарной лыжной трассой. Рядом термы под открытым небом и кайфовый гостиничный комплекс. Трасса освещается и кататься можно хоть до 10 вечера, поэтому многие жители города могут пробежаться на лыжах после работы. Здесь еще раз позор Новосибирску, который забил на массовый лыжный спорт!И все же надеюсь, что когда-нибудь и у нас появится такой крутой лыжно-биатлонный комплекс. .
