While I don't like how easily the show is dismissing what Sasuke did to Karin...

This is, in fact, Really Fucking Funny.
Karin (who up until now thought Orochimaru was dead???) pouting and being like "Listen, Orochimaru!!! He Stabbed Me!!!" And Orochimaru just replying "What a coincidence, me too" hfkahfksbxk and they're like. Well, it can't be helped! Time to team up with Sasuke again!!!!
Fucking loved Suigetsu trying to make a run for it lmfaooooo bc Genuinely everyone else here is so freaky and he doesn't even have his damned sword!!!! He's just a guy who can turn into water!!!!! vs whatever the fuck the Rest of them have going on lmao
What a time this is.
#speculation nation#fanny watches naruto#ive been watching a number of episodes while painting my nails. got thru the hashirama backstory episodes.#i like hashirama actually. he ultimately just wanted peace.#i do NOT like tobirama. hes the one who stoked the suspicion for the uchiha that led to how things ended up.#but listening to hashirama's story was enough for sasuke. he's gonna go help the war effort against madara.#motley crew of evil missing nin and evil missing nin's pupil (who killed him)(but he got better) and 3 of his favorite test subjects#AND the first four hokage. I think that as a fandom we are sleeping on Madara's canon founders era disability aka blindness/near blindness.
It's totally underexplored! Yes it got fixed in canon because of Izuna's dying wish. But in all those "Izuna lives" AUs??? All of the ones I encountered mostly used the same fix that was used in canon but in "exchange eyes" version. Ignoring the fact that the only reason Izuna offered his eyes to Madara was because he was dying. And the only reason Madara agreed to it was the fact that Izuna was dying. And even then it was unbelievable enough that there were speculations about Madara taking them for himself forcefully not because Izuna gave them to him.
If Izuna had survived the eye transplant probably would have never happened. Because they had no idea about eternal mangekyo.
So yes I think that Madara's eyesight problems are woefully underexplored in our fandom. It gives opportunity for interesting character study and alternative plot development, headcanons and delicious whump scenarios.
Tbh it's mind blowing to me how few attention it gets.
Actually one of my own headcanons related to it is that Madara started developing his sensor abilities seriously as a way to compensate his fading eyesight so he can still fight and be aware of his surroundings in battle.

Head's up: this post is me looking way too deeply into this random card game they introduced in Boruto (it's been forever since I've caught up with it and I'm starting from the beginning, RIP my sanity) and in general there's a bit of serious and a lot of silly going on in the analysis here... I find this concept so strange lmao so this is a little forewarning that's all.
Sorry, just been busy thinking about how dystopian it is that by the Boruto timeline there is a popular ninja trading card game all the kids are obsessed with that treats shinobi (many of whom were abused, traumatized child soldiers who have experienced incomprehensible trauma) as fun little collectibles.
For our world that's one thing (referring to the merchandizing we see of the manga/show itself); Naruto is obviously a story, it's a highly marketable IP, etc... but the implications of this being acceptable and even celebrated in their world is just so wild to me.
Also, it raises so many questions.
Do ninja get paid for the use of their likeness? How are they compensated?
Like did Hinata pose for this 'unique' card that obviously falls outside of the norm for collectability purposes? Or are the likenesses/names of the shinobi in the 'Extreme Ninja Scrolls' (ENS) TCG being used without permission? Who profits from this? The Daimyo? Jiraiya and Minato are also shown having cards... so who approved those since they're both deceased? Is there a Namikaze estate (for example) that had to legally allow Minato's image to be profited off of?
They even have cards of the OGs as 12-year-old genin. So is the Konoha government approving these since everyone pictured here was as an employee of the state and these appear to be regulation photos?
And you know what? We KNOW they didn't have this shit in the OG era because, back in the day, the whole team was impressed as hell at Kabuto's legendary ninja info cards! Who could forget these bad boys?
youtube
Now I guess we have to ask, though, is this not a massive security risk?
To have your nation's shinobi and their backgrounds, techniques, etc. shared so freely on cards you can pick up at any ninja 7/Eleven?
Anyone can purchase one of these card packs. We know it's not exclusive to Konoha too - while most of the cards have the Leaf Village symbol stamped in the corner, Orochimaru's represents the Sound Village.
Actually, hol' up. Orochimaru's inclusion is WILD.
"The legendary three ninja" (ie. a nod to him being one of the Legendary Sannin), but this man killed hundreds of thousands (we don't even know the totals) in untold unethical science experiments. He enslaved and tortured children, ruined countless lives and imprisoned them in hideouts that seemingly existed everywhere, and he packed up the Third Hokage (ngl that was a hero move).
And you're going to tell me that guy gets his own 'super rare' trading card? There are survivors of Orochimaru's cruelty still walking around in this timeline and they have to look at his face plastered and advertised everywhere as a rare card pull in a children's game?
So, if we can safely assume that (with Orochimaru's inclusion) internationally wanted criminals are not off the table for this game, does that mean the Akatsuki have their own cards as well? Like little kids are really out there trying to see which terrorist they can add to their collection? By Boruto-era, the truth of the Uchiha Clan Massacre is still swept under the rug by state leaders like Kakashi and Naruto (+the Elders), so Itachi's card could be in circulation under his Akatsuki identity. How does this shift/color the views of generations of children who come across all these cards potentially bearing the 'Uchiha' last name, especially since they're only ever taught a white-washed, sanitized, state-approved history?
This is pure speculation, but I wonder who gets left out of this game too. Is there an Obito card? A Madara one? They were the enemy faces of the 'last' great war, but one was also a founder of the Leaf Village (and it's implied all the Hokage all have cards - so historical figures are fair game), the other was a student of Minato's (which could, theoretically be included on the background summary of the card, we don't really know what's included there).
The kids in Boruto joke about Shino's card being viewed as a 'trash' pull (and tbf to the manga I did laugh when I saw the comic they made of that concept)... but really, how disrespectful is that? Imagine devoting your life to practicing shinobi techniques so you can serve/protect the state (as many of them tell themselves) only for little kids to joke about how undervalued and lame your card is? Imagine seeing the card of a beloved comrade you lost in a desperate battle, now being sold for pennies online as 'useless' since no one cares or remembers their name like you do.
Also, Sasuke apparently has a card and I can't for the life of me see him granting approval for his likeness to be used so callously, which lends further credence to my idea that these are either utilized by the state without the permission of their soldiers to add more prestige to the shinobi lifestyle (and potentially net more revenue for the state from children who will grow up to revere these figures/hope to cultivate new ones that will aid their financial interests/goals) or serve as a complete corporate cash-grab designed by some trashy company not even involved in the real business of shinobi but smelling a profit-to-be-made.
Yeah, idk, I really, really dislike Boruto as a concept and story... but I cannot deny it is giving me so much to think about lol.
How would it feel to suffer both physically and emotionally your entire life as you serve as a weapon of the state, just for kids to now argue over your card's value (or lack thereof)? How would it feel to see a shinobi who slew your partner or child in battle during one of the ninja wars (Minato, Jiraiya, Kakashi - they've all got blood from different villages on their hands) now lauded as these ultimate, pure heroes that kids everywhere can and should idolize?
Imagine Madara being handed a holographic card of Izuna and learning that it is valued low for whatever arbitrary reason? Or Kurenai seeing kids trade Asuma's card away for a better one? Does the game gloss over figures like Fugaku, a victim of state-sanctioned genocide, or Rin, a child soldier who died a child? Like these are real people (in-universe), with real and painful stories.
Side note: That's why I think the Zabuza arc is so critical to Naruto because it disrupts the initial 'fun' of this world (one that from the outside boasts cool magic powers and talking animals) and reminds the reader that these are children who are taught and expected to kill or be killed.
The shinobi included in this game have been indoctrinated to build their prestige off of being 'good' little contract killers, violent war-machines, and empty vessels that can line the pockets of feudal investors... and now they're being commodified again and sold to children as aspirational figures.
Something, something... late-stage capitalism Konoha and the further commodification of child soldiers/truly using and viewing shinobi as monetized tools in not just the previously understood sense of arbiters of state violence, but as literal objects of entertainment for children in a way that promotes the status quo of glorifying war-mongering and violent espionage all to support the business interests of corrupt feudal lords?
I have nothing to add here, this panel was just from the same chapters and the absurdity of it made me laugh so I wanted to include it lol. WTF is this?
#I listened to the ninja info cards remix on repeat the entire time i wrote this so i think it may get more unhinged as the post goes on?#anti konoha#anti shinobi system#anti boruto#naruto#not serious#but lowkey serious at parts lol#i'll come back later to fix the typos my b#if i'm missing a tag please ping#Youtube

Is he gay?
disclaimer: this is a hc, not speculating on what the writers intentions were.
reason: He's obsessed with another man for decades until he dies, even after dying and reviving he's still obsessed. Before dying for the first time he takes a (literal) bite out of said man and swallows it. When he's revived he grows the face of that man in his chest. At the end of his life (for real this time) his last conversation is with that man and it is very sentimental. Also he hates women.

if you are struggling with writing a character and that character is uchiha madara, the solution to your problem is to cut out his pov altogether and not elaborate on anything. if he's not forcing the audience to draw their own conclusions based on speculation from other characters' thoughts on him and from violence-oriented shinbutsu symbolism, you're doing something wrong

Heyy, could I request a madara x reader where your hashirama and tobiramas little sister or something
Sure thing love, here we go, little adventure💕😩💫
Senju bros can be possessive just like Uchihas, u would be surprised👀🫱🏼🫲🏼
Tobirama enters the house huffing, exhausted and disgusted to be using his valuable time in this way. Now that the village is calm, functional, and not so dependent, he can take the liberty to do whatever he pleases, morally wrong or not.
So, when he noticed some particular marks on (Y/N)'s neck, hickeys more properly speaking, he knew he had to investigate where they came from. How dare she, the Senju princess, walk around with such a wild pattern on her neck? Even worse, who is the idiot that thinks it prudent to leave marks on the younger sister of the Senju leaders?
With a free schedule and time to spare, Tobirama thought it wise to find out the mystery without having an uncomfortable chat with his sister. Of course, he didn't expect to have a comparable dialogue with his older brother.
Arriving in the courtyard, he finds a Hashirama submerged up to his elbows in dirty water, using a wooden board to scrub soapy clothes against it. The mixture of emotions shown on his face is unfathomable, and it is not until the albino clears his throat three times that the Hokage stops violently scrubbing.
"Anija, what are you doing?" he rests a shoulder against the door, and folding his arms he inquires.
"Isn't it obvious? Laundry." The dryness of his response and the lack of typical cheerfulness put Tobirama on alert, analyzing his expression more deeply. Is he angry?
"You wash yours on weekends. It's Tuesday, your behavior exceeds normal limits."
"It's not mine." Hashirama looks at him with angry eyes, a mixture of rage and frustration mixed with uncertainty.
"Whose then?"
"(Y/N)'s." He says it sheepishly, shifting his gaze quickly to the dirty water and scrubbing hard again, too hard to be simply washing clothes. There is what can be interpreted as anger in his movements, viciousness.
"I think our younger sister is adult enough to take care of...her underwear? Anija that-"
"For god's sake Tobirama! Don't even imply such a thing!" He explodes in a restrained scream, dropping the board and splashing water everywhere. He snorts indignantly, and seems to gather his strength before speaking, "I just... I stopped by her room, to say hello of course, but all I found were several pairs of underwear on the floor, full of..."
"Full of?" Tobirama isn't sure he wants to know the answer.
"Sperm."
"FUCK!"
Connecting dots, taking into account the marks on (Y/N)'s neck and the underwear incidents that Hashirama believes he has to deal with, the two brothers embark on a deep and embarrassing conversation about their sister's private life, speculating what she does in her spare time and who she's dating.
Who is the man who leaves hickeys on her skin and ruins her panties with dangerous fluids? Neither of them know, but they both set out to find out together.
They devise a plan, a master strategy to follow their younger sister without her knowledge and keep an eye on her for as long as it takes to finally find her suitor, to decide if he is worthy of her or not.
The execution is perfect, both Senju moving through the shadows of the night and hiding in the ones provided by the sun, always blending in with the view and disabling chakras, impossible to detect. Tobirama employs his sensory abilities to further understand (Y/N)'s movements, who she sees during the day, who she hangs out with at night, but neither of them anticipates what is the truth of the situation.
When seeing their sister enter the Uchiha compound, the albino's hair stands on end. Even more cautious than ever, they follow her to the main house, where their jaws drop.
Madara comes out of his home, calm and relaxed, scantily clad considering it's 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and wraps his arms around (Y/N) lifting her off the ground, giving her a long, lingering kiss on the mouth. He squeezes her butt with one hand, while she curls her hands in his long hair, pressing him tighter against her face as she smiles.
Tobirama is quick, too quick for his own good, and in a fit of anger and indignation leaps from his hiding place ready to attack the Uchiha leader, having envisioned how to assassinate him without hurting his younger sister in the process. When his kunai is an inch away from that hideous tangled wig, a huge log stops him from the wrist, sabotaging his perfect assassination.
Madara doesn't flinch, looking to the side and putting distance between the threat still with (Y/N) in his arms. He settles her better in his grip, and flashes a morbid smirk. "Well, well, well... what do we have here?"
"Tobirama, back off!" Hashirama shouts from the hideout they had agreed upon, his jutsu preventing his brother from moving dangerously against the pair.
"YOU HAVE SINNED (Y/N)! SINNED!" he shouts through clenched teeth and wild-eyed, understanding the cum in his sister's panties comes from an Uchiha, AND WHAT UCHIHA! fucking (Y/N), sold to the enemy, compulsive backstabber.
"I guess I'm going to hell, Tobi, but I'm happy." The woman embraces her beloved closer, Madara tightening his grip on her buttocks to keep her feet from touching the ground, unwilling to let go.
"Don't you worry, Senju, the devil is going to punish her himself. By the way, guess who that is." The Uchiha winks at him, and at his reply, Tobirama shouts angrily toward the sky, almost freeing himself from his older brother's prison. More branches sprout from the one holding him by the wrist and wrap around him completely, enclosing him in a wooden shell as Hashirama approaches with a grin from ear to ear.
"Madara! I'm so glad it's you! Don't worry about underwear guys! make as many heirs as you can!" Tobirama's muffled cries are heard from his shell, but the three laugh with genuine joy at the way their families come together.

don’t trust them, brother - Chapter 11
Title: swords? not for you Summary: Less talk, more action. Preview: The kunoichi straightens out of her crouch, exchanging a glance with Gekkō. “If you will allow me a bit more speculation, Uchiha-sama, it seems unlikely that dozens of shinobi of various ranks entered your Compound to scavenge and did so unnoticed.” She curls her lips in distaste. “If I were to have a theory, would it not make more sense for one… highly trained individual to have taken several blades at once, and then… distributed them to others?”
Read the new chapter on AO3!
Read from the start here. Or look through my Tumblr tag for this fic.
Fandom: Naruto Rating: Mature Relationships: Uchiha Izuna & Uchiha Sasuke, Uchiha Izuna & Uchiha Madara, Hatake Kakashi & Uchiha Izuna, Eventual Hatake Kakashi/Uchiha Izuna (maybe) Summary: Izuna opens his eyes to find himself in an abandoned street littered with bodies bearing the uchiwa on their back. He shouldn’t have eyes at all. He should be dying. [Uchiha Izuna time-travels to the canon era… to land right at the tail end of the Uchiha Massacre.]

Hello, good morning.I wanted to ask you what you think about the Uzumaki clan and the other members we have seen. There are some people who claim that, if the Uzumaki clan were still alive, Naruto would not have had such a horrible childhood and they could make an alliance with the Uchiha clan and the Hyuga clan.
Hello ! Good morning/afternoon to you !
To answer you first question, I'm very curious about the Uzumaki clan. I really wished we knew more about them. They always seemed interesting to me. And the art of sealing is very versatile from sealing tailed beasts, to sealing light or explosives. It's almost like you could use it for almost anything. And the adamantine sealing chakra is also very versatile. It can bind chakra's tailed beast (or humans) be used for attacks (like Karin did for example) and protection (Kushina created defensive barriers). I'm always interested in fanfics that expand on the Uzumaki's lore.
First, I love Naruto. It isn't a big surprise. Naruto, as a manga and a character, will always hold a place in my heart. It's the first manga I liked and followed from the beginning to the end. And maybe I'm a bit biased because of that.
I obviously like Kushina. I already made a post about her relationship with Minato. I found the one shot cute and well written. So yes, I like her romance with Minato, her personality (it's based a bit on Naruto), her strenght and her main technique (the chakra chains). Nagato is, to me, one of the most interesting antagonists of the manga and Kishimoto's antagonists are all interesting in my opinion. I enjoy his background. There is some philosophy to his character. And he feels very human. And the fact he was able to use the rinnegan so well, and in a different way than Madara or Sasuke is very impressive.
I'm planning to write about Karin, but I'm going to explain a bit my opinion on her. First, I enjoy team Taka quite a lot. But Karin is probably my favorite from them (after Sasuke). I like the idea of her being in the "grey" area. She's neither "nice" nor "bad". Yes, she helped Orochimaru with experiments, but showed empathy for others like Sasuke & Sakura. I like the fact she isn't a fighter, but still very useful and powerful. She's probably the most powerful sensor in the manga. She's smart and brave. I like her.
For the last part of your question, I think if the Uzumaki clan was still there, it's likely Naruto would know of his heritage at the very least. If I remember correctly, Konoha was hiding Uzumaki's places like this one...

So maybe if they were still around, it wouldn't have ended like that. Why would the Uzumaki be allied with the Huyga or the Uchiha ? I know Kushina was in friendly terms with Mikoto, but they were allied specifically with the Senju. They had their own village. Except if you meant that the Uzumaki "moved" in Konoha to avoid extinction ? Maybe then, they would make an alliance with those clans. But Hiashi always seemed very traditional and close minded. I don't have a great opinion of him. Making an alliance with another clan doesn't seem like something he would do. I don't really want to speculate more on this part. It's difficult for me to imagine.
But if some Uzumaki were in Konoha, they would probably look after him and protect him. In this scenario, I like to believe he would have a member of his mother's family (maybe a grandmother or grandfather) who would raise him. So yes, I think his childhood wouldn't be horrible. People would still hate him because of Kurama, but he would have someone to look after him, give him attention & love. He would get training from his family, someone who would help in his lessons, theory and to learn. I think it would solve many of his problems.
Some people seem to think it's okay for Naruto to live on his own. But a parent, a caring and present parent, makes everything different for a child.

I am terrified to put my two cents in for Tobirama Senju and Izuna Uchiha on this hell site. Mainly because 1, people are very vocal about their hate and dislike for Tobirama. 2, I tried to have a little look at character analysis for these two and found mostly hate for them.
But this is what I'm analysising them on, both Tobirama and Izuna, their trauma regarding war and their enemy and what caused it and how they reacted. And contrasting them with their brothers, who are humanisated the enemy when they were children.
I'm going to start with Izuna, from what I have gathered through Naruto Wikipedia and manga panels as well as other fan speculation, is that he was also a middle child and had been regarded as a spare to Madara who was the heir. Izuna's trauma comes from war, remembering vividly because of the Sharingan, and the child hunts. He is an angry character, wanting the destruction of all Senju on his death bed and to be avenged, after all, you're dying by a Senju's sword and your siblings killed by Senju. And he was taught to hate them but also that teaching was proved by the skirmishes and the fallout of those skirmishes.
Izuna hasn't had a humanisation of the enemy like Madara had. He knew what they were like through teachings and the battlefield. Madara was taught the same until he met Hashirama and met face to face with someone with the same pains. This is a time where there is no Internet to spread word about different operations within clans, there is no peace to talk freely with eachother, you only have your clan to teach you about the enemy, which they teach you to hate and not think about who they are or why the fight, just to kill and hate the enemy.
I truly believe, that the Izuna and Tobirama's fight was reversed, that Izuna would have turned out to be similar to him.
Here's the reason through my examples of Tobirama. He was the middle child, he was the spare to the heir, his trauma of the war came from fighting and the child hunting and his younger siblings' death. They both have the same traumas and they reacted in a similar way.
Tobirama and Izuna trained hard to kill the enemy, using new techniques to kill the other. They viewed the other as the enemy, their siblings dying by the other clan, their only reference to the other clan is through their clan's teachings and through skirmishes.
Izuna's last breath was to kill the Senju, not to make peace with them, Izuna hated and feared the Senju. He hasn't seen them as humans but other. Dehumanisation of the enemy is a common tactic in real life, especially during war and within the army/military. This is done in these clans to kill others.
Izuna and Tobirama have these ideas due to their clans and due to the war. Hashirama and Madara don't have this to an extent, seeing as they in the end agree to peace due to Madara knowing Hashirama is human and willing to disembowl himself. Tobirama and Izuna never had this for each other.
So, if Izuna were to have swapped positions with Tobirama, there would be a difference within the Leaf. Uchiha's will still be around, Izuna wouldn't want people to marry out of the clan like Tobirama would have done, the Senju would be under surveillance instead. The Senju would properly still be around but they would be restricted. Izuna most likely would have taught others to hate the Senju as well.
What I am saying is that these two characters are messy. They are human. They have trauma as soldiers, and later, they are terrible historical figures. As characters, they are nuanced as they have to deal with living with the enemy since childhood. They can never truly trust them due to fighting them for so long and what they have been taught.
Tobirama, as Hokage, built up the village with plans and legislation and treaties. But his trauma as a child soldier, like Izuna, inhibits him from teaching without prejudice. Am I saying he's a shit man because of it? Yes. But he and Izuna would not simply hug the taught enemy like a brother. Madara and Hashirama could due to meeting and becoming friends when they were younger and out of skirmishes.
What I'm saying is that Tobirama and Izuna are shaped by their trauma. They reacted to that trauma with the sword, and they were taught to be soldiers, not men. These two were used to the chaos of war, and they died in it, do I think they could have been rehabilitated? Yes, though it would be slow.
But they didn't have that. Izuna died hating and cursing the Senju. Tobirama died to save a child from the Uchiha Clan.
Does Tobirama teaching an Uchiha change anything? I am unsure, but it shows growth from his trauma. Would Izuna do the same if he survived instead of Tobirama? I am unsure, possibly due to understanding that they are humans.
As historical figures within Naruto, if roles were swapped, I think it would play in a similar manner. Just with a Senju massacre and possibly also the Uchiha as well, but I'm uncertain. These two, in my opinion, are parallels of each other.
If Tobirama isolated the Uchiha from the Leaf, I truly believe Izuna would have isolated the Senju from the Leaf as well.
#senju tobirama#tobirama senju#uchiha izuna#izuna uchiha#character analysis#im terrified what others will respond but also very curious#we can't be nice to Izuna because he's dead tobi is dead too#izuna hated the Senju and feared them#tobi hated and feared the Uchiha as well#they were at war#im not saying that i think both of them are scotfree they are both fucked up#but they were in a fucked up situation#izuna would have been a senju hater like tobi was an Uchiha hater#tobi even said he kinda hated the uchiha but not really afterall there was a time he got to understand them#izuna most likely would have been in the same camp as him if he lived instead

Misinterpretation
Madara stared at him with a complicated look on his face. Tobirama couldn't pinpoint what his Husband's expression is...all he can assumed is that the man is...somehow beyond upset.
Izuna looked at him as if he betrayed them.
And Tobirama doesn't know why his Brother in Law was shooting him that kind of look.
All he did was he made a gagging motion as he smelled the tempura Madara had ordered from the Akimichi restaurant. He knew why he reacted like that, but he's not yet sure if what he suspects is actually true.
He would need Anija's expertise to find out if his suspicions are correct but he couldn't cause for another three weeks his Brother is visiting Uzushio after years of not doing so.
He waved his hand at his Husband and pinch his nose as he avoided in smelling the frankly disgusting smell of tempura. (Tobirama silently despaired that he can't eat one of his favorite foods since a few weeks ago).
" Tobirama. What in the Sage's name?. What is happening to you?. Are you *sick*?!. "
Tobirama is weirded out at Izuna at Madara's reaction of the word *sick*. The Brothers had a terrified look on their faces and the Albino thought its the Uchiha extraness that is kicking in again.
He hesitated to tell what's his speculation is. It took a few seconds of silence on his part that Tobirama watches with startled eyes as his Husband burst into tears and asked him with heaving sobs if he's dying.
Izuna clutching his shoulders and shaking him made Tobirama feel all the more nauseous. He had to swat the man's hands away from him to stop lzuna's ridiculous antic.
" Stop!. Stop, Izuna!. For the love of the Sage!. I am not dying! I'm fucking pregnant! You imbeciles!. " He finally snap irritably.
Cue a few seconds of deadly silence...and then Tobirama watches with dismayed eyes as his Husband and Brother in Law fainted together.
~●~●~
Tobirama later found out that the reason why Madara and Izuna looked terrified at the thought of him getting sick is that because their Mother passed away from an unknown sickness after she gave birth to their youngest sibling who also died at birth.
A week later, Tobirama deeply regretted on agreeing that his Husband and Brother in Law can dote on him. Because apparently Uchiha doting is quite...daunting and exhausting. He can't even go out of the Compound without one of the siblings escorting him. Or he can't put any food in his mouth without the two tasting it first ( for just in case scenarios ) , or he can't even talk to any Shinobi he had to talk to ( because, what if they're hidden spies! Wife! ). Frankly, Tobirama didn't know if he can put up for nine months with the non stop hovering of the Uchiha Brothers. He wanted to sometimes snap at them but then he always remembered his Husband's and Brother in Law's terrified faces and he'll be back to square one at enduring their version of pampering him.
For now, he's just clutching at the hope that when Anija comes back, he can straighten out his frankly ( traumatized ) Family.

Watching the Obito Reveal in naruto and while I still want to punch this guy in the face, I'm rly enjoying seeing how emotional Kakashi is getting AND how supportive Guy is being to him. Like Fuck You, obito, guy is here and he's better than you in every fucking way. Up to and including giving kakashi the support he deserves ❤️
#speculation nation#fanny watches naruto#and madara just showed up which puts guy and madara in the same area WHICH MEANSSSS#it's guy vs madara soon >:] at some point lol. we have a lot of backstory episodes to get thru first it seems.#actually how cool is it that this fight is madara and obito vs kakashi guy And the two most powerful jinchuuriki#everyone on this field right now is so OP. it's very fun heheh#also kinda funny how five of these people are from konoha. then theres just bee here from the cloud#like shoutout to him for working with them so hard when this is ENTIRELY konoha bullshit wrecking the place#two uchiha here bc of personal vendettas etc etc and WHERES THE THIRD??????#who knows lol sasuke's off on a personal quest for the truth rn. gotta educate himself before he decides on a side to support.#it's so funny. like i mean he already did smth so helpful for the world by helping itachi take down kabuto#but then hes like. well idfk what to do now bc he hates konoha Even More but itachi declared his continued loyalty to it#so hes like. well lets talk to the All Knowing One (???) to ask questions. like ok i mean fair point.#wish we didnt have to bring orochimaru back for this tho. i quite liked him being dead for 200 episodes.#sasuke is in the midst of a metamorphosis... only by learning the Truth will he emerge as his true self... etc etc lol#anyways itd be fun to see sasuke fighting against his fellow uchiha. like come ON stop fucking up the world guys!!!!#but yeah im getting to a lot of big shit. ep 344 out of 500. still got a while to go. but im definitely in the Late Stage!!!!!#not looking forward to the neji thing. thats coming up in the next few dozen episodes. ugh.

This is more of an observation with small speculation than an fact. Thanks for Leader of Festival for this post and mentioning Arséne Lupin (+ wiki link) because of her I've noticed this!
Throughout the choreography, you can see Madara bow a lot. I only grabbed a couple (he's so scunkly)
Which makes me wonder if this was chosen as a reference to Arséne Lupin or something else?

If Naruto was written in Seinen pattern
Naruto is a great series and a masterpiece but it has its flaw,
the thing is author focused the story too much on main 2 characters then always told the past important events by the dialogues of some important characters but this isn't fair bc we need to know Uchiha's/other side of the story and other villages side of the story too
to understand the true intensity of the situation they were talking about and justify certain characters actions,
then there madara and onoki's conversation,
we don't when it happened and what madara was doing there and who told him to act like that,
inner monologues from madara and itachi and some other characters in those event will give us the true pic of how they really felt and what they were feeling,
then how did hashirama died and 1st shinobi war turned out, how was Tobirama's reign, how were Uchiha treated by villagers, how much damage obito did to mist village, the conversation when hiruzen signed treaty with kumo, how hyuga cadet branch aside from neji actually felt, how haku's clan get destroyed, how much effort did uchiha and hiruzen put in to solve the prb, how danzo and shisui so sure that there might be a war or just speculation, was uchiha capable of causing civil war or they easily overpowered by village top shinobi branch, why would there be civil war bc whole village is die hard loyal to Hokage that's why they never question the village leader no matter how difficult the life was, what was kakashi's father mission that he was bullied for, naruto and sasuke's relation with villagers at a young age, how and why did they shun sasuke! villagers true reaction in mass to the news of Uchiha massacre on panel in person etc
so many question not answered properly, some fans in the fandom use there own interpretation for the lack o information cause misinformation,
I bet if it was a Seinen, we might be able to get the answer to these questions,
another thing author didn't focus on fleshing out the theme for on larger scale only for some character,
like cycle of hated and how it impacted the shinobi world and its war economy and then their daimyo and their roles and so many questions,
naruto going to be a future leader of the village, why doesn't he talk about politics and how he can solve these social problems with the villains at least we will know naruto's leadership skill but only focus on emotional and theoretical aspect,
I bet it was written in seinen,
we could have seen naruto's true leadership skill along with being motivational speaker ,
then there SS and NH,
their development not shown in manga but after it ended,
I felt like author tries to focus on naruto's commercial success and not on quality writing,
no wonder boruto's story is so lazy,
that's why I had prb with naruto and i thought if it was seinen then writing would be more in detailed and not one sided and not 2 characters focused most of the time

What are your thoughts on Iruka as Hashirama's grandson?
While I do love this headcanon and think it sounds perfectly reasonable in some ways, the one thing that irks me is that it doesn't really add up with the timeline. Like. At all.
Kohari Umino, Iruka's mother, along with her husband, was 45 years old when she died the night Naruto was born. The databooks tells us that the village was founded 60 years prior to the start of Naruto, meaning she would have been 57 at the start of the series if she had survived, and would have been born 3 years after the founding of Konoha. This makes her 7 years older than the Sannin. I will use Danma and Kaname as references from hereon. Danma was the same age as Hiruzen&Co, who were all 68 at the start of Naruto and 18 years older than Tsunade. They would have been 8~ years old when the village was founded. If Danma was also the grandfather of Iruka, that would mean he had his first child at the age of 11...which is obviously unlikely.
Now you may say, but what if Hashirama had more kids earlier than 18 years before Tsunade's birth who could have been Iruka's parent? We are stepping into speculation territory here since we have very few anchor points and ages to go by from the pre-village era, but we do know that Izuna Uchiha was 24 when he died. I personally wouldn't pin him as being any more than four years younger than Madara, tops, but considering he was the second oldest brother of five and the other three were old enough to have been sent out to die against the Senju already I'd prefer to go with no more than two years younger. For sake of argument we'll assume two years. I think that's reasonable. And if we then also assume that Madara and Hashirama were the same age, that would make them 27 at the time of Izuna's death. And so, if Hashirama was at least 18 when his first child was born said child would have been 9 years old when Izuna died. Again, we know that the Konoha was founded 60 years prior to the start of Naruto, which would be 9 years before Tsunade was born. The math maths in this case in favor of the child born when Hashirama was about 18 eventually became Tsunade's parent, Danma. But again, if Hashirama was also the father of Iruka's grandparent and for that parent to be at least 18 when Kohari was born then Hashirama would have either been unreasonably young, like 11-12, when he had his first child, or he would have had to be a significant number of years older than Madara and Izuna. I've seen people argue that Hashirama's godly healing powers and genetics made him age slower, but in relation to Madara and Tobirama he seems to age at a perfectly normal rate, so I really don't think he was any significant amount of years older than Madara. Personally, I struggle to find a reasonable scenario where it's plausible for Hashirama to be Iruka's great-grandfather. So yeah. I love the concept of Iruka being Hashirama's great-grandchild. I think Iruka's striking resemblance to Hashirama and Hiruzen's treatment of him certainly paints a convincing picture. But for me the numbers doesn't add up for that to be possible and that irks me.

Is he a trans man?
disclaimer: this is a hc, not speculating on what the writers intentions were.
reason: madara uchiha got tired of konoha and the big villages being homophobic so to dreamland it is where lgbt folks and the women can live in peace. hey he tried to prevent boruto and gave characters like gaara a better life than in canon. also the chest scars on his tits (yeah i know it's because of hashirama cells, but come on).
