My idea when adapting these lyrics to the characters is that Tsubomi isn't sure if Mob is interested in the real her, but asks her out now that they both have found themselves, and together they're like a raft to hold onto in a world that might not always be accepting, because they accept each other as they are, and are learning to love each other again. As themselves.

I will admit, it's a little embarrassing since you can easily see the patterns of what I've been listening to for the past year or two. I swear I listen to more than just videogame OSTs, these songs just jive well with the story and I often find lyrics distracting when brainstorming scenes. Regardless, the music I listen to is such an important part of my creative process and some of these songs really defined the scenes I now have locked in my head. So I figured it was only fair to give them the credit they're due.

I will continue to add to this playlist, and will note in comic updates when one of these songs is applicable!

Tada!! A lyric comic about Bkg's feelings up until his death. BIIIG spoilers, sorry! Below the readmore is my blabbering about this a lil

So, the song itself is about the narrator comparing falling in love to Icarus's plight. How despite the dangers of love and the pain that can come, he'd rather fall than have never loved at all.

Similarly, Bkg's feelings of recognizing his love and accepting it, regardless of how it ends up, is what I wanted to portray. While meant to be abstract, this could be seen as moments Bkg is thinking about where his feelings felt strongest just before his death.

I had a lot of fun! Sorry its angsty, considering I've only ever done fluff til this point LOL. I'll make it up to you!!
