Autism in the Faerie World Part 2

Of course there was going to be more! And there will still be more! When an autistic faerie stims, it activates a special inner magic that blossoms with each stim. Some faeries can fly by stimming. Some make the room light up. Some can make people happy by activating their stimming aura. Some autistic faeries can do most of it or even all! Hearing the laugh or squeal of an autistic faerie is said to bring long-term happiness into your life. Some autistic faeries have a resistance to raindrops, so they can hover for short amounts of time in rain. Autistic faeries can be hyperempathetic or hypoempathetic, but both are good. Autistic faeries who love water often have an affinity to mermaids and can talk to them rather easily. Autistic faeries are often much more hypersensitive to the feelings and emotions of animals than most. Being blessed by an autistic faerie can amplify the power of the blessing due to their often-hypersensitive nature. To befriend an autistic faerie is considered to be normal if you're a faerie, and respected if you're a human because faeries are normally more open-minded and accepting of differences. I want a milkshake.

POETIC TRAGEDY

author’s note: english is not my first language, sorry for any grammatical errors; this is part of a super shuffled fanfic i created in my head with regulus black's children (serpens is the third child of five); letty may seem a little crazy for doing this but she's actually right, if she doesn't die soon and complete the connection between them it will keep happening this with serpens every time they meet (it's literally an ultimatum from his phoenix)

   Lettice's hands were shaking. It was her body warning that this is not a good idea. A thousand and one alerts were beeping in her head and she still ignored them. Her heart spoke louder, screamed that it was for love. She was as calm as ever, the decision had been made and she wouldn't change her mind. In seconds she would take her own life, and not for a moment would she regret it.

   The dagger was already in her hands, the blade gleaming in the light that hit it. Letty laughed. It was dramatic, she knew, but it was the way she distracted herself from impending death. The girl was inspired by a muggle classic she got as a gift from her grandfather. Romeo and Juliet, the name. The book was particularly troublesome, but the deaths caught her eye. It was a poetic tragedy, just as her death will be.

   Her knees ached from the time kneeling on the cold floor. Green eyes staring intently at the mirror in front of her. Calm, that's all she saw. Her shirt had been tossed across the room, to give more access to the heart, and the dagger was already positioned in the right place. The blade pierced the skin slowly and, just as the wound was starting to get deep, the door opened with a loud thud.

   Scamander got up quickly from the floor, startled by the noise. The reflection in the mirror revealed Serpens, but she preferred to believe that was hallucinating. He wasn't supposed to be there. Not now. Just a few more minutes and she would make it. Just a few more minutes and they wouldn't have to worry about anything else.

   The brunet didn't even stop to take a breath before running to the girl. He was angry. Seething with rage. But it wasn't hers, it was his. Lettice was doing this for him. It was his fault. When he turned the redhead's body towards him, he grabbed the dagger blade and pulled hard. She didn't want to let go, and was crying begging him to let her finish what she'd already started. The boy's hands were already soaked in blood, but he didn't show even a hint of pain. Letty screamed in terror, but Serpens only dropped the blade when he threw it across the room, having managed to remove the dagger from the redhead's hands.

— Lettice... Is that why you asked me to talk to my parents? — the girl stared at the dagger, lying on top of one of the beds in the dormitory — To get me out of the castle? To commit this… INSANITY?! — the scream snapped her out of her trance, causing the prefect to look at the Lehnsherr-Black.

— I can do anything for you — tears were already falling from the eyes of the tallest.

— How can i live with this? Knowing that you sacrificed a perfectly normal life to be by my side. To jump headfirst into my family's problems.

— So what you expect me to do? — she shoved the boy's shoulder, smearing the plaid shirt with her bloodied hands — Sit and watch them take you away from me? When i know i can stop it? When i know we could be together?

— And when you die? Huh, Lettice? And when i bring you back? How do you think it would be? The weight of these powers is a burden, not a blessing. You'd have to watch your brother and all the other people you love and care about die with nothing you could do about it. And no matter how hard you try, you can never die. Believe me, i tried. You'll never be able to get rid of this constant pain that haunts anyone with a fucking phoenix in their heads. A phoenix that tells you every second of your existence how useless and insignificant you are.

— At least i'd have you by my side, helping me through it all — approached the teenager, placing her right hand gently on his face — And i would be on your side too, my sparkly boy. You've had this weight on your shoulders since you were very young, bearing it alone and blaming yourself for every misfortune that befalls your family. It's not your fault, Serpy, it was never your fault. I've been scared for so long, but it's finally gone and i feel ready. Ready to step into this crazy world of yours and defend your family — she stopped for a moment — No. Defend OUR family with claws and teeth. I love you, Serpens Lehnsherr-Black, and it will be an honor to die for you.

— I don't want you to sacrifice your life for me like my sister — his hand rested on hers, both of them ignoring the fact that they were basically rubbing blood on the brunet's face.

— It's not a sacrifice, don't be silly, it's a gateway to a world of new opportunities. Just think of how many articles we can publish with an immortal life! With pseudonyms over the centuries, of course — the redhead's eyes even gleamed at the mere thought, making Serpens smile unconsciously. He loves to see her happy.

   The black-haired one started to approach Scamander (as much as it was a kind of personal entertainment to watch her as she rambled on, it was almost impossible not to be tempted by Letty's blissful expression), already having the support of her hand on his cheek, but before he reached the girl's lips his body stopped. Tense, already knowing what was to come.

   Lettice didn't even have time to say anything before Serpens collapsed to the ground in front of her, spasming violently. He screamed in pain, scratching the floor with his short nails as if he would somehow ease the suffering. His clothes began to burn and, as a result, holes appeared, revealing wounds in his pale skin. The boy was being burnt from the inside out.

   The ravenclaw didn't know what to do. She read a lot, but nothing came to mind on how to help a person being relentlessly electrocuted. She regretted at the time that hadn't volunteered in the Hospital Wing (that's assuming Madam Pomfrey would know how to handle this situation). The redhead threw herself to the ground, probably scratching her bare knees, and screamed for help. It wasn't wise to touch someone being electrocuted, it's a fact, but her hands began to act on their own. They slowly approached the slender body but, when were within a millimeter of touching it, the four remaining Lehnsherr-Black heirs stormed into the room.

   It happened very fast. One second she was kneeling on the floor, about to be electrocuted, and the next Phoenix was pulling her up, stopping her from doing such a stupid thing. Orders sounded through the room, but everything was spinning. She could feel someone – presumably Crux – cover her shirtless torso with a leather jacket and drag her across the dorm in a hurry.

— Get her out of here. Now! — Lupus' voice was booming, like thunder, but maybe it was just the ravings of someone about to faint.

— Don't delay. I'm going to need your help with these woun- — Aquila stopped mid-sentence. That wasn't a good sign — His heart stopped! — and that was the last thing Lettice heard before she passed out in Crux's arms, feeling herself being teleported to who knows where.

   Oh, damn, they fucked up.
