A Linked Universe meets The Dark Crystal AU! I don't even remember what started it at this point. I remembered that the Dark Crystal and Age of Resistance are things I like, blinked, and woke up three days later with an AU and a bunch of art.

The designs and the story are a wip and for fun so expect a lot of variation! (I have a few different beginnings, ideas for different designs, etc)! :D

I’ve talked about this before but imagine what it’s like for someone in a country/place where eliot is Top Most Wanted and then your tech guy finds a breakout star baseball player on their visual scanner that looks EXACTLY like spencer. but…there’s no way that’s him, right???

and then the next year it happens again but this time it’s some one hit wonder country singer kenneth crane that has like 78 tween-run fangirl blogs dedicated to him. you see a grainy video of him being chased by a horde of screaming teenage girls and ??? no way Eliot Last Thing You’ll Ever See Spencer is a country singer star just. signing pictures of his face right…?

a few months later your intern shows you footage of an eliot lookalike who is in san lorenzo talking about how there is dog fighting in the presidential palace and you just. sigh. because of course. a scant few days later the political geography of the country changes drastically and damien moreau is imprisoned. …interesting

and then a year of silence goes by. he still shows up as blips on the radar but he must have a good hacker working for him because his tracks on the internet are expertly erased.

every time you ask through interagency channels some random interpol guy talks in (condescending?) riddles at you and it also somehow feels like he’s threatening you

and then your friend who recently got into foreign hockey teams sends you a dropyourgloves video of someone called jacques the bear. you immediately get a headache (and watch some more videos because even you can admit this guy is a good hockey player)

and you know he’s a Bad Guy but it’s been admittedly a bit entertaining seeing what claim to fame he will come upon next. and his most recent actions over the few years make you wonder.

a few months later your phone pings because multiple heads of state evacuated from DC. the reason? eliot spencer was in town. you hear two days later a bioterrorist was taken down by… the report was redacted. your hacker tells you spencer and two teammates were behind the successful operation. which, huh.

not even a full year later it is released that spencer is dead and… you don’t know how to feel.

Just wanted to say im graduating this semester and finally escaping digihousing (and the blue dorm beds) for good and your bed talk tag has made me feel better about going and trying to find a good mattress when I move out! Scary/exciting to live outside of student housing for the first time and getting a new bed feels so much less daunting now

So, I want to make another book of bill page post. In this case it's something I've actually already pointed out, but I had added it as an afterthought to a different post. (One that I admittedly want to redo anyway.) And I felt this idea deserved its own post.

These pages are under fire again. More specifically, the first page.

And even more specifically, this part:

Where we are lead to believe that Ford learned Bill was from another dimension upon their very first meeting.

This is something that contradicts the original Journal 3 pretty much immediately.

First things first: Ford mentions his meeting with Bill was two years ago. Yet, on this same set of pages he refers to Bill as being from "a higher plane" as opposed to another dimension. and instead of being certain of Bill's status as a so-called "extradimensional diety", he makes guesses as to what Bill could possibly be (eg: a spirit or an alien). It does not read like they had ever discussed the whole interdimensional thing yet.

Could it be possible that they did, but Ford decided to feign ignorance here for some reason? Considering his reminder to himself to burn these pages at the end, I doubt it. He never had any intention of letting someone other than him read this page.

These pages aren't the only ones that would suggest Ford didn't know yet at this time either. So let's look at some others:

The next set of muse pages we come across is where Ford has been officially let into the loop about the weirdness of gravity falls possibly coming from another dimension.

Notice how he also says that without Bill telling him about it he never would have thought of the idea on his own.

If when they first met he had gotten the idea there was an “extradimensional” creature like Bill already connected to Gravity Falls at this point in time, I should hardly think it would’ve taken him two whole years after that to think of the related idea that the Falls’ weirdness may come from out of our dimension. And I certainly don't think he would've required Bill's insight to come up with it.

Again, when looking at Journal 3, I just don't think it's a concept that fits.

This topic of course isn't the only strange thing about the Book of Bill's supposed recording of Fords first meeting with Bill. There is... a LOT going on in those pages. But it's the one I have J3 pages on hand for. So there you go

so um someone got me talking about funger in discord and shipping daan with people and i'm sorry to say i do have a favourite daan ship and instead of it being with someone sweet... it's with pav.

stupid snarky stinky soldier man who probably makes crude comments at daan while daan patches him up. pav who says he doesnt care about anything or anyone, pushes peoples buttons on purpose, constantly makes snide and crude comments.

and then there's daan, who patches him up anyway. still blushes a little at the pav's flirting even though he knows pav doesnt have genuine feelings towards him, because he's so starved for any affection. who after everything is done maybe offers anyone with no place home to go back to, to come and stay with him in his empty mansion. and pav reluctantly comes along but he's only staying for a couple weeks, thats what he tells daan, what he tells himself, just until he figures out where hes going to go next.

and then daan's nice to him and pav hates it. hates it because he feels he doesnt deserve it. acts like he doesn't care but is starved for genuine compassion. puts on a show of having a big ego but hates himself, thinks hes disgusting. and yet daan is being nice to him, being patient with him. and pav is horrified to realise he actually is falling for daan. and that can't happen. he's not built for this, he's not going to be good at a relationship, and he cant fuck up the first friendships hes building for the first time in his life.

so he plans to leave, to sneak off into the night. daan catches him. and pav pushes as he always does, insults daan, tries to make daan hate him. and it doesnt work because daan sees through it. daan too knows how it feels to think you cant let yourself love others, to think that you're some sort of curse. and pav just breaks, just starts crying and confessing everything, how he feels about himself, how he feels about daan. and then says hes leaving.

"perhaps i should have been a lot clearer with my intentions then, dear" daan says, and has to stand on his tiptoes to kiss him.

then they fuck nasty or whatever. pav absolutely loves teasing daan, making him flustered, distracting him when he's trying to work, loves pinning daan down, has a breeding kink (as in him breeding daan, fucking him hard, either forcing him down on all fours or mating press), and of course he's a biter, wants to leave teeth marks all over daan, calls daan 'kitten', likes coming on daan espeically his face to make the nice neat doctor messy, cant turn his mouth off during sex, tells daan how needy and desperate he is for his cock,"'deep down inside you just needed someone to bend you over like this huh doc? yeah, it's like you can't live without it. think i oughta keep you plugged up at all times, make it easy to slip right in, you'd like that would you? being nothing but a hole for me?"
