As much as I embrace the nonhuman aspects of myself and it can sometimes be strange living in a strictly human body, I do also very much love being human. It's just as important to me and is why I prefer "alterhuman" over "nonhuman" as a self descriptor personally. I am as human as I am alien, they both have meaning together rather than opposing each other. I used to think of myself as a sort of demihuman or half human but both come with sort of derogatory and artificially divided contexts so I nowadays see myself as one whole that is wholly both of these things.

Sasha is the daughter of a Russian human and an angel of knowledge. She has a calm and quiet demeanor, which sometimes crosses over into strictness or even coldness or sourness. One Piece Worldbuilding Headcanon; (just contemplating for now)

Lunarians were one-half of a coin and Solarians were the other. Because for some reason the sun is opposite the moon.

Cousins. Kin.

Lunarians were closer to the Earth from their seat atop the Red Line while Solarians were unreachable at the uppermost levels of the atmosphere, higher above even the sky islands.

Like their counterparts, Solarians were viewed as godlike. But rather than to the earthbound races, they were gods to the Sky People.

Their element was air, unlike the Lunarian's fire.

Pale skin, bright blue eyes, white hair, and leathery, bat-like wings, more akin to dragons than to the dark, angel-like wings of the Lunarians.

When the Lunarians were forced off the Red Line, many found their way to the safety of the Solarian's sky island. While others of their kin found hidden colonies all over the world.

The one where alcatraz island kinned Richard nixon so hard after the destruction of its original universe it set itself up on the moon of a new universe as Richard Nixon. Said nixon is so powerful it can literally be considered God of that universe.

Nixon is afraid of joining humanity and so to test us makes three extensions of himself:

Frank Sinatra as the D-Day Knight

Kirk Alyn as the Last Son of Alcatraz

Donyale Luna as the Queen of the Lunarians

His extensions are powerful entities, the Knight and the Son becoming superheroes but they all end up being hurt by humanity in different ways and thus makes Nixon understand he could never be accepted on earth. But also because of the shit The last son went through uh oh he's now a dangerous entity known as the Crescent King and has the capability to destroy the Nixonverse as well, so Nixon ultimately ends up fictionalizing his universe into that of a comic book.

Chapter 1114 first thoughts.

I think at least one Satellite will stay with the kids from Punk Hazard, to continue making medicine for them.

Shirahoshi update! And Megalo too. Saul as well! It's good to see them all of them. The Chouchou appearance was also very good.

Am very curious if the Lunarians having flames on their backs has any connection to the Mother Flame. King's story pairs remarkably well with the title of this chapter. He flew too close to the sun (helping Kaido become/find Joyboy,) and had his wing sliced off, causing him to fall off of Onigashima, down to the earth below.

I made a rough comparison of Oden's route next to Yamato's route. Kin asking for Yasu's sword to be returned to him is very sweet.

Interesting that the routes are different. I wonder if Amigasa Village and Ebisu towns have both been abandoned, and Kibi doesn't have any notable landmarks that we know of.

"Simply being welcomed in your arms again is more rejuvenating than you can imagine..." Chang'e giggled; though mostly at the term "lovebunny"... an earthen translation of a lunarian term, to be sure. However, even in the Lunar tongue it lacked elegance. Eirin wasn't one for poetry to be sure, but it wasn't something that Chang'e bothered to mind.

"It feels as though I'm being welcomed home once again..."

At least for this moment, it certainly did seem as though they had time to themselves again... and even in this fleeting moment, it truly felt like there was nothing to keep them apart, now. No appearances to keep, nor status to maintain... They could be themselves, with each other, and damned anyone who judged them...

Yet... Who was to say if it would last. Though they could enjoy the moments together for now... Danger still lurked. Who knows who Lunaria might send, if anyone even... As much as Chang'e favored Eirin, it was enough that she wouldn't wish any harm, least of all harm indirect of her own causation, to befall her or the kin she had made for herself.

Thus, as if to not find herself glued to Eirin's embrace... she did part from her, but not without a small kiss on her cheek. Too lingering to be chaste... but just shy of being anything more.

"Tea, yes... tea would be lovely. Prithee tell me... Do you have my preferred? Ginger, with honey and lemon?"

The sudden slamming of the door had caused Chang'e to tense. For a moment, it seemed as though the tense atmosphere had finally boiled over, and Chang'e was prepared for Eirin to begin scolding and berating her for coming here, of all places; where hell, even if not in the literal sense, was sure to follow. Yet, the berating certainly came... Eirin as stern in her lectures as she ever was, and yet... it wasn't berating Chang'e for coming here; but, rather, her insinuation that she might take Hecatia up on her offer.

"Eirin..." It was for a moment that Chang'e had thought that Eirin had become cold towards her. Yet, hearing the stark level of concern in Eirin's voice, even if it was masked under a familiar scolding, set the goddess' heart straight in a moment. She mentally berated herself, for daring to think that the woman who once promised her the world would have every stopped caring about her.

It seemed almost nightly that Chang'e regretted not taking her up on her offer...

"Oh... ♍︎◆︎◻︎♓︎♎︎..." She spoke in the Lunarian tongue, an old pet name that Chang'e had for Eirin some thousand years ago. It was a rough approximation of 'cherub', or more specifically 'cupid'; a silly name undoubtedly embarrassed the doctor, which was perhaps the exact reason she chose it.

Though Eirin hadn't the nerve to do so, the moment Chang'e felt Eirin's hands clasp hers... all pretense went out the window. No sooner did she rub a thumb over the back of Eirin's hand did she let go to instead reach out and throw her arms around the neck of the taller, marginally older woman. She hugged her tightly; nearly hanging off of her as went to her toes just to bury her face in the others' neck as she had done so often so long ago whenever Houyi was on one of his drunken bouts.

Lazuli is a humanoid with dark blue skin and golden freckles, like the colors of a lapis lazuli gemstone. She comes from a species of gem-based life forms who live in caverns underground on the planet orbiting Beta Cancri and who harvest and who eat bioluminescent mushrooms. still no scene of saying goodbye to carrot....not sure if i think that's a W or an L for carrot4nakama. i want to call it a W but honestly it wouldn't surprise me if oda just did not give enough of a shit about her to actually have a farewell. still, you'd think in a scene where the strawhats are saying goodbye to nakama (temporary or otherwise), she'd be there too? if the next chapter focuses on the straw hats and carrots not in it then she's definitely not joining the crew, that's done and dusted for canon.

I sincerely hope Phos doesn’t pray for anyone.

The Lunarians slaughtered their kin and, especially Assmea, fucked up Phos’ life so they would suffer as much as possible and become their new praying automaton. They intentionally took advantage of Phos’ insecurities and wish to be special and to help to literally tear them apart and have them built back together so they could mold Phos into what they needed them to be.

The gems only ever cared about Phos when Phos was able to do something for them. They shattered Phos multiple times, vilified them for choosing to at least propose the possibility of co-existence with the Lunarians on the moon and then put them through basically purgatory by scattering their parts all over their home and then straight-up forgetting to come to a consensus concerning Phos so they could excavate and put them back together again.

Special dishonorable mentions go to Traitorgorm and Assamant.

Adamant knew from the get-go what the Lunarians wanted, yet he let the war go on, rather than try and find a solution to his defect. He let the gems believe he was this all-knowing master who knew more than all of them combined when he was really flying by the seat of his pants 99 % of the time. Every single shattering and abduction of a gem, all the trauma the older gem veterans are suffeirng in the present, could have been avoided it Adamant hadn’t been such a goddman coward, more focused on dazzling the gems with the illusion of a wise sensei then actually protecting them from the monsters who hurt them just to get to him.

Cairngorm was such a selfish prick they took the very first opportunity offered to them to ditch Phos and break the promise they made to Ghost. They let themselves be sweet-talked by the man who had led a genocide against their own people. They were aware of what would happen if Adamant prayed and intentionally kept this from the other gems in favor of going full native because Aechmea claimed Ghost was still somehow alive and compelling them to do things they didn’t want. (For which there was literally no proof. Yes, Cairngorm appears to be held back by Ghost after Aechmea makes the offer to take the rest of Ghost’s fragments out of Cairn’s eyes, but gems have been known to hallucinate when in stressful situations. Combined with Cairngorm’s prevalent insecurities about their existence, or lack thereof, within Ghost’s body, which Aechmea 100 % knew about, it’s possible that what Aechmea said just confirmed their biases, leading to them hallucinating a malevolent Ghost trying to keep them from being “free”.) Cairngorm is such a pathetic and loathsome toad in the present.

All of these people took advantage of Phos to a horrific degree. And now that they’ve taken everything from this child, they expect Phos to just be good and pray for a salvation Phos themselves is probably excluded from.

None of these people deserve to be prayed for. I sincerely hope Phos finds some way to get back at all of them and then find some peace for themselves.
