HAPPY APPRECIATION POST

Happy is such a genius for this! He doesn’t get enough credit but he’s pretty smart for an Exceed/cat. Angering Natsu to make his flames even hotter thus creating a larger difference in air pressure is pure brilliance. I love when he gets the idea, his face lights up almost like a light bulb going off. The very concept of an idea coming to life. And the smug face he makes when he’s teasing Natsu!! I love it! After the battle is won by Natsu, Happy even acts dumb since he knows Natsu’s angry!! But I found it funny when he states that Natsu has worse memory than he does and how Natsu doesn’t even realize that Happy was scheming to make the flames rise in temperature. Happy didn’t even bother to explain it and brushed it off by saying it was all Natsu. I really like how smart Happy is. He doesn’t have powerful magic or transformations like the other Exceeds, but he’s not totally lost. Happy is one of my favorites for a reason.

Decided to get myself a Fairy Tail backpack. I technically could use a new backpack so I figured, why not get myself a Fairy Tail backpack? Felt like a nice way to get something I need while also treating myself a bit. This seems like a nice, sturdy backpack too.

It seems to be able to hold my water bottle pretty securely and even has a built-in phone charger port cable.

My Secret Santa gift for @philophobic-honeybee! Here's the link to the ao3 posting of the story I wrote. I also added the story below the read more in case you don't use ao3. I hope you enjoy the story, I had lots of fun writing it!

Loke didn’t pine, he really didn’t, until Lucy Heartfilia transferred to Magnolia High School in tenth grade. She stopped Loke right in his tracks, her soft features, her kind smile, her quiet rebellion through clothing, it all screamed girlfriend material. But Loke didn’t do girlfriends, not since Karen, no he swore to himself after that he would never fall for romance again. Then Lucy crashed into his life, with her hearty laugh and creative spirit she disrupted his habit of casual flings. He kept his distance, the less he knew about her the easier it was to avoid her, of course they ended up with a lot of mutual friends. Still he kept his distance, only going to events with her if there was a big group setting, avoiding any situation where they’d be alone together.

It was the beginning of the second semester of their senior year when his plan fell apart. He didn’t notice Lucy sneak up behind him until she tapped him on the shoulder. “Hey Loke!” She chirped.

“Uh, hi.”

“Listen I know you haven’t taken interest in a while, but Natsu said you did theater in middle school and we need more boys for the spring musical.”

“Lucy I-”

She quickly interrupted him. “I know it’s not really your thing anymore, but I wrote this musical and it’s my last show of high school and I really want it to go well.” She took his hand, her hands were so soft and warm, she pulled him a little closer. “I just need one more guy and your friends said you would be the right choice.”

He could feel blood rushing to his face, he had to get out of this before he died of embarrassment. “Okay! I’ll do it!” He yelped and ran off, trying to get as far from her as possible.

It had been a while since Loke auditioned for anything, but he did love performing, the attention was unmatched. He sat down in a fold out chair outside the school auditorium. Tapping his toe on the floor. “Loke!” He looked up, his face met with Lucy’s stunning grin. “Thank you so much for doing this!”

He stared down at his feet, how was she so pretty. “Yeah it’s no big deal.”

“I still appreciate it. I was so worried we wouldn’t have the right people for the cast, but now I think it’ll be alright.” He watched her shift her weight on her feet. “Now that I’ve given the script to the crew I’m so nervous. If this doesn’t go well…”

“That’s crazy talk Lucy, it’ll go great.”

“Oh I’m sure it will. I’m just so nervous.”

“From what I’ve read it’s great.”

“I’m glad you like it!” She started to turn, but paused. “I think I know who you’ll get, you’re perfect for the role.” He looked back up as she started to run off.

“Loke!” Erza called from the auditorium doors. “It’s your turn to audition.”

The cast list was posted on Friday, everyone eagerly awaited the turnout, Loke was pretty excited. Truthfully he had loved doing shows in the past, he stopped doing them when he started dating Karen, it was one of the first casualties of the relationship. He was thrilled when he saw his role, Leo the celestial prince, the main male love interest. It was gonna be a lot of work but he was ready to put in the hours, hours of practicing with whoever was playing Iris. He decided to check, his heart stopped when he read the name ‘Lucy Heartfilia’.

When Loke received the script it was worst than he thought, not the script it was fantastic, but the relationship between Leo and Iris. It was so fleshed out and romantic, they had so many sweet scenes and two kisses. There was no way he was getting out of this less in love with Lucy.

The first day of rehearsal was that Monday, she sat next to him. “I knew you would get Leo!”

“Oh thanks, congrats on getting the lead.” He mumbled.

“Thanks! I wasn’t expecting it, but I guess I took write what you know literally, Iris is a lot like me.” She grabbed her script from her bag. “Except I’m not chosen by the galaxy to save the world.”

“I’m not much like Leo.”

“You’re handsome and charming.” She noted.

He could hear Natsu and Gray giggling next to him, he was never gonna hear the end of this. He had to keep it cool, he couldn’t let the prettiest girl in the world phase him. He took a deep breath and collected his thoughts. “You’re right I am, but I’m not a big fan of commitment.”

“Leo is afraid to commit to anyone until his lament where he realizes despite his avoidance he’d already committed to Iris.” She chuckled. “Maybe you’ll learn something playing him.”

She didn’t respond, the director, Mavis, marched in. “Who’s ready for a read through?” Everyone let out a cheer. “Alright Levy could you read stage directions for us?” The short girl nodded, she was the head tech, she’d been showing off her abilities for years and her script was already full of notes, she began.

Natsu and Gray caught Loke after rehearsal. “Dude you are crushing hard!” Gray teased.

“You got so red every time she talked to you!” Natsu added, tugging Loke’s arm.

“I’m not! I- it’s just weird playing a romantic scene.” He paused, but added. “Especially when you’re not interested in them.”

“You’re always interested in pretty girls.”

“Yeah man I don’t think there’s a girl you haven’t hit on here.”

“Well I don’t like her!” He growled and stormed off to his car.

Rehearsals only got more intense from there, every other day he and Lucy were practicing being in love with each other, but today was the first day they were practicing their kiss scene. “Leo!” Lucy shouted, running on stage from the wings. “By stars! Are you alive?”

“Iris…” He groaned, playing up his acting from his spot on the ground. “Iris!”

She knelt by his side. “Oh Leo-” He watched her worried expression drop. “Line?”

“When you disappeared. I was sick with worry.” Erza yelled from the house.

“Right.” She mumbled, then put her acting face back on. “When you disappeared! I was sick with worry!”

“I’m alright princess.” He brought a hand to her face and caressed it. “I stopped the Dragon king for now, but I can’t defeat him. I don’t have my strength back.”

“Well I guess everyone is relying on me now.” Her expression changed from worried to confident, but there was discombobulation in the audience.

“Lucy you skipped like eight lines!”

“Oh! Sorry!”

“Let’s go back to Loke’s last line.”

“I’m alright princess.” He touched her face again, it was so warm. “I stopped the dragon king, for now. But I can’t defeat him, I don’t have my strength back.”

“I -um I -uh.” She stumbled over the words. “I- will- Will you regain your strength? Will you get back what he took from you?”

“I don’t know, maybe if he’s defeated.”

“I’m sorry.” She bowed her head.

He sat up. “It was worth it for you.”

She stared at him, her performance dropping. “I- line?”

“I love you. I love you Leo. I love you more than anything in the world, I will get your strength back I swear this to you.” Erza called in monotone.

“I- I…” Her voice trailed off.

Mavis stood up. “Okay guys take five, let’s get some water and shake this off.” She announced and hopped onto the stage. “Lucy are you okay? You know this script backwards and forwards.”

“Sorry Mavis, I do. I’m just nervous about this scene.”

“You don’t have to kiss yet, it’s only rehearsal.”

“I know, it’s just such an intimate scene to do in front of people for the first time.”

Mavis thought for a second. “Okay. How about this? You two go rehearse this scene in the band room alone and we’ll work on some choreography out here.”

“Okay thanks Ms.Vermillion.”

The pair headed off to the band room and sat on the floor together. “Are you okay Lucy?” Loke asked.

“Okay there’s a reason I’m messing up, but it’s embarrassing.”

“How about I tell you something embarrassing first?”

Lucy grinned. “Okay!”

“Oh now I gotta think of something…”

“You offered that without anything in mind?” Lucy chuckled. “Come on you’ve gotta be embarrassed about something.”

“Okay.” He sighed. “When I first met Gray I thought his name was Gary.”

“That’s not that bad, just a little-”

“I called him Gary for two years before anyone corrected me.”

“Oh that is a little embarrassing.”

“Yeah so what’s yours?”

“Well this stage kiss, it’s gonna be my first kiss.”

“What about dating? Did you not kiss your last boyfriend?”

She shifted. “I’ve never really dated anyone before?”

“Wait, really?”

“It’s just never happened, I went to an all girls boarding school before I came here and now I’m here and I’ve just made a lot of friends.”

“So you’re nervous to have your first kiss in front of a bunch of people?”

“Well yeah.”

“So what if we just kiss now?”

“What?”

“We just have a practice kiss here, no acting or anything, just us.”

“but we’re not a couple.”

“So?” He rested a hand on her shoulder. “It’s just a kiss it’s no big deal. I’ve kissed lotsa girls.”

She played with her fingers. “Is it really not a big deal?”

“It’s just a thing you have to get out of the way, the other firsts, they’re a bigger deal. A kiss is just two lips touching for a second.”

“You’re right. Let’s do it.”

She leaned in and it suddenly felt a lot more real. “You’re sure?”

She nodded, licking her plump lips. “Like you said, no big deal. Plus of all the possible first kisses… You’re not a bad choice.” She closed her eyes. “So kiss me please.”

It was very real now, she was leaning forward, eyes closed, lips puckered, her perfect blonde locks framing her face. He was about to kiss Lucy Heartfilia, the girl of his dreams. A fake kiss, a kiss that wouldn’t mean anything. This wasn’t how this was supposed to happen. “Lu-”

The heavy metal hinge of the door squeaked as Levy stepped in. “Hey guys, sorry to interrupt.” Lucy jumped up, her eyes popping open. “Mavis needs you two for another scene.”

“Okay Levy, we’ll be down in a minute.”

“Okay.” She pushed the door once again and began walking out. Loke watched Lucy stand up, where was she going?

“Lucy-”

“Thanks for talking to me, but I think the moment’s over.” She caught the door just before it closed. “Let’s go, there’s still half an hour left of rehearsal.”

“Okay.”

Rehearsing with her after that was like a special circle of hell, it might have been fine if they weren’t the romantic leads, but they had to practice a scene where they waltzed together. He had to hold his hand on her waist, he could feel how soft and warm her skin was where her crop top didn’t cover. By the end of rehearsal Loke was sure he had to confess before Monday’s practice or he would surely die when they got to the final scene. He sat on the edge of the stage, running through the things he could say in his head. He watched her sliding her script into her backpack and putting on her jacket. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “Lucy, I-” His eyes opened and she wasn’t by the auditorium seat that had been holding her bag. She was walking up the aisle, now engulfed in a group of friends. Maybe he could catch her before she got into her car. He grabbed his bag and ran to meet the group as the were exiting the auditorium, he could hear Erza, Mira, Natsu, and Gray chatting about an upcoming double date.

Lucy hadn’t said anything in a while, but Sugarboy started to speak to her. “Hey Lucy, I was hoping you would go out on a date with me tomorrow night?”

Damn it. “Uh, yeah sure.” No! What the fuck. How was the universe not on his side this much today.

“Cool! I’ll text you.” Loke wanted to say something, but Levy was already pulling Lucy’s arm away from the crowd, squealing about the future date. This was going to be an awful weekend.

His prediction was right, he spent the weekend in bed, imagining Lucy’s date and the way she would smile and laugh at his jokes. The smile he was missing out on, the soft hands that should be holding his, he’d never really seen her date before and suddenly he felt the jealousy. He considered dragging himself out of bed, finding some girl to date for a bit while Lucy fell in love, but he saw no real point. He could finally tell that if he couldn’t have her, he didn’t want anyone.

He dreaded school on Monday, even more he dreaded rehearsal that afternoon. He’d have to suffer through acting like he was in love with a girl he was actually in love with, but wasn’t allowed to date. So of course the first person he saw when he walked in the building was Lucy. She grabbed his wrist and pulled him into an empty classroom. “Hey Loke I wanna talk.”

When her hand let go of his wrist he pulled his arms away and crossed them. “About what?”

“I was wondering… If that kiss over was still on the table?”

Fuck. “Why don’t you ask Sugarboy?”

“I don’t want to kiss him.”

“What? Why’d you say yes to the date?”

She shrugged. “He asked me out in front of a bunch of people and I thought maybe I’d want to after our date, but I’m just not interested. I told him that.”

“You figured that out after one date?”

“Sort of, I also… Um, I kind of like someone else.”

“Oh.”

“So?”

“Huh?”

“Kiss?”

“You still wanna kiss me?”

“I still need that first kiss.”

“So you want to kiss me so you can go off and kiss the guy you actually like?”

She shook her head. “No! Well, I mean sort of- Well it’s just not like that.”

“Lucy I don’t want to be used like that, tell the other guy how you feel, I don’t want to take away from you getting your first kiss with someone you like.”

He started to leave, but she grabbed his hand again. “Loke wait!”

“What?” He asked, ready to just run home and be done with this day.

“You are the one I like.”

“What?” He gasped. “Really?”

“Yeah, that’s why I wanted you to be my first kiss.”

Loke grinned, taking her shaky hand. “I’ll be your first kiss Lucy.” He watched her face light up with a smile. “If you let me take you out on Friday first.”

“Really?”

“I kind of, uh, like you too.”

Rehearsal was no longer filled with dread, now Lucy and Loke found joy in spending that time together, even if there were other people around, they were in their own little world. Each time they rehearsed the kiss scenes they brought their lips close, almost touching until they both grinned and pulled away, not until after their date.

Friday couldn’t come soon enough, but when it did Loke couldn’t seem to calm his nerves. He nervously opened doors for Lucy and pulled out her chair. He nodded at everything she said, working so hard to display active listening that he almost missed her discussing her dreams of becoming a famous playwright. At the end of the night he dropped her at her front door and smiled. “I guess this is the end of our date…”

“You were such a gentleman.” She giggled. “Although I could tell you were nervous.”

“Was it obvious?”

She leaned against his chest. “You nodded at every single thing I said.”

“I was listening.” He chuckled.

“As much as you could.” She grinned. “So are you still interested in that kiss?”

He nodded. “It’s all I can think about. You?”

“Oh I am very interested.”

The adventures Of Iris ran on a warm May weekend, the three days of shows went off without a hitch and all the audience could talk about was the chemistry between Iris and Leo.

At the cast party Lucy snuggled onto Loke’s lap. “Thank you for joining the show.” She whispered in his ear, watching Natsu and Gray’s stunning karaoke performance. “I told you it’d be fun.”

He grinned, kissing her cheek. “I had so much fun.”

I'm Still Thinking About Fairy Tail and Rave Master After All These Years

I'm going to level with you. The original post was a mistake.

Any reason to think that way about my own writing?

Surprisingly, no one else did. As much as my writing hasn't aged well, this post shows how naive I was back then.

The comparisons to Fairy Tail and Rave have been made time and again. It's a prime source of annoyance for fans of Rave. I knew that making the original, but I get it more now. Most (not necessarily all) people making these comparisons don't know what they're talking about. I said this about RWDE and got pushback. Here, some things said about similarities can be refuted with a second reading of Rave. Or, on occasions, a first reading.

Although, I will say Mashima isn't doing himself favors. It's insane how many references and callbacks to his past works Mashima's current works have. I didn't mind it as much in Fairy Tail, even getting more of what happened. Reading EZ (and Black Rock, but I'm really behind) and seeing the callbacks to past works. My default reaction to these things in my Quick Notes is as follows: *sigh*.

Some people will tell you it's lazy, but I don't see it that way. Some of these connections are pretty cool to see across different worlds. And, outside of the obvious ones, the callbacks are done with enough distinction between them. Honestly, seeing the same things over and over again is annoying. I'd rather see another Ajeel-Yajeel situation than go to another Mildian anything.

Don't even get me started on Sieghart.

Hold on. Let's talk about that.

Technically speaking, the design is based on a character from Mashima's debut one-shot: Magic the Illusion. However, the character design we recognize throughout his works is first seen in Sieghart from Rave. The design shows up because Mashima didn't feel great about how he ended his character arc. I'm not willing to spoil that in this post, but having reread the situation... I don't blame him for bringing Sieghart back.

In Fairy Tail.

Justice isn't always similar to the others. However, that was when it started to be taken too far. Of course, Mashima had to do it again for HERO'S. At that point, we'd gone too far. Seeing a cover with all the different look-alikes was more annoying than endearing. It's not necessarily uncreative, but it's not welcome.

This might not be the most annoying comparison. I'm more annoyed with the comparisons between Nalu and...

Harelie? Whatever the Haru and Elie ship is called.

Let's get this out of the way. They might be Mashima's best ship. I'm not sure I'm breaking new ground with this. But I would unironically put them up as one of Shonen manga's best ships. Unlike many ships, their development felt natural. It was a delight to see them become endgame. (We'll get to that end.) I would say there are writers better than Mashima who could learn from his romance writing.

The issue is that, of course, fans try to read their dynamic into Nalu. I'll admit some panels share parallels with each other.

Fans agree that Haru is a better parallel to Lucy. In the same way, Natsu parallels Elie. I don't particularly disagree with that view. However, it does ignore things they have in common with their gender counterparts. You can't tell me Haru's fights aren't closer to Natsu's than Lucy's. It's interesting to think of Haru as something like Lucy in Natsu's role or Elie as Natsu in Lucy's role. Still, there are ways that Natsu and Lucy's relationship is different from Haru and Elie's. That's not just more mud to sling at Nalu's romance. Lucy's narrative role in Fairy Tail is unique among all of Mashima's heroines as the closest thing to the "series narrator" the story has.

Speaking of which, I have to talk about my girl Elie. I don't think anything gave me more appreciation of Elie than HERO'S. I feel like Lucy gets too much flak. I've jokingly referred to Rebecca as "Elie Heartfilia" on occasions. However, I love how Elie is handled. She's more willing to take an active role in situations, which is helped by [spoilers for the series]. I love that Mashima did this with his female lead. It's disappointing we never saw this as much from other leads. (Unless I'm missing something in Black Rock.)

Though, as I have said before, Mashima does write female characters with active roles and the ability to fight. Some (not most or all) writers show female characters as inferior to their male counterparts. I always think of Asuna in SAO getting shown up by Kirito. (inb4 "But what about Mother's Rosary?") That's not a consistent issue with Mashima's writing. I love it. It's not just the key players. Minor women and one-off female characters get great moments.

I say that, but Mashima has never shied away from fanservice. I used to be super against fanservice, but I've mellowed out over the years on this issue. Not enough that it doesn't annoy me to see some of the things Mashima has done over the years. I know I just talked up Elie, but Haru's introduction to her was accidentally seeing her panties while sitting down. They look back at it like it was a funny moment. It feels wrong.

However, I need to bring up the most contentious example of this. Rave fans might think I'm talking about one of Julia's fights. Tempting as it is, this doesn't take place in canon. During a volume Q&A session, Mashima mentioned that he got a request to draw the Rave girls showering. His objection was that parents probably wouldn't enjoy seeing that in a volume, which is commendable.

Then he does it anyway with a not to tell the parents.

Let's get this straight. This isn't a fanservice issue. Mashima's had plenty of opportunities to draw characters in undress. They were mermaids for a bit. That was a reasonable vehicle for fanservice. The actual picture isn't the most gratuitous he's drawn. (read: you know the Julia fight Rave fans) 

My issue is one of judgment. Mashima recognized that what he was asked to do might not be the best thing. Yet, he did it anyway and tried to be slick about it. This is worse with the hindsight of the Internet and electronic volumes.

This attitude extends to the ending.

Oh boy, the ending.

When I made the original post, this was my first time experiencing a Mashima ending to a manga. If you didn't read my thoughts, I was very positive about it. I loved how things played out, watching sad things get undone, and finding out how Levin tied into the main series. It was all incredible.

It's been [EIGHT] years since then. Fairy Tail ended, and I've read Mashima's other works. Not to mention, I've finished other manga.

I think it's sad that Mashima saves some of his worst writing for the end of a series. It's almost like he doesn't wish for the series to end. I'm not joking when I say his best ending might have been HERO'S. While Fairy Tail was only a break in hindsight, the others didn't end well. It's not much better in EZ now.

I still think that it's great to see the main ship payoff. I made that panel my background on two computers. However, it would have been much better to see how things got to where they were. Perhaps a few chapters to deal with that and end on chapter 300.

That said, it's fair to say this still ranks among the best of Mashima's writing. The only thing that comes close to it is EDENS ZERO, but I think this edges it out (for now). It's crazy that there are so many ways to read the series. With multiple Humble Bundle opportunities and the publishing of Kodansha's version as ebooks, fans owe it to themselves to give it a shot.

I'm proud to say that, over the years, I've collected physical copies of the complete series. It wouldn't be possible without those pandemic stimulus checks. I've been able to reread the whole series as it was published by Tokyopop, save the last three volumes. I went through it with scanlations my first time around. I reread one chapter in the scans because it was in full color, but nothing beats reading the physical books.

There might be a project I have down the pipeline for Rave. I intend to talk about one connection between Fairy Tail and Rave.

In Conclusion:

Stop whatever you're doing, click off Tumblr, and read Rave Master! NOW!!!!!!!

Lucy smiled as she watched a YouTube video and prepared her own set-up.

"We're back with Uno!!" He shouted.

It's Natsu Dragneel's video. He's playing a multi-player game with his friends which in Lucy's opinion is always his best content.

The latest video in a series where he plays with Gray, Gajeel, and Juvia.

"Are you guys ready?" He asked.

"Ready for hours of fuckery, you bet your sweet ass I am," Juvia replied.

Collective shocked gasps and Oh My Gods erupted.

"Jesus Christ." Natsu laughs. "Way to start the game Juvs."

"Don't mind her she's high on coffee," Gray added.

She can't help but giggle. Their interactions are just so funny, their chemistry with each other is absolutely brilliant, and they are enjoying themselves and having fun.

"Red cards would be very much appreciated you guys." Natsu chuckled as the cards in his hands were just a bunch of red number cards.

"Sure do bud." Gajeel chuckled as he played a +4 card and changed the color to red.

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!!" Natsu shouted as the rest laughed.

Lucy laughed along and decided to finish the video before she started filming her own. She has her own YouTube channel and she has a pretty decent amount of subscribers and views.

Her plan for today was to film a make-up transformation video, an Arcane-inspired look. Even if she is a make-up channel she loves different shows, movies and games and she draws inspiration from them and makes something of her own.

Natsu looked at his computer for a while, deciding on what to do. He had a blast playing Uno with the others yesterday. He has 6 hours' worth of footage, he can definitely milk that in at least 3 videos. After a bit of contemplating, he has decided to plan an upcoming collab with Gray where they try to make carbonated anything since he just bought a soda maker which should arrive by tomorrow.

After, he decided to record a video where he scrolls through his subreddit. A classic. While reviewing the posts he stumbled upon a picture of a beautiful blonde girl.

"Lucky Lucy is a YouTuber who does these YouTuber inspired looks. She did one of Erza, Mira and Levy already and she recently posted this one of you." Natsu read the description.

"Oh that's really cool." Natsu said, and clicked the link and played the video.

"Hello, my shining stars welcome back to another one of my videos." She started.

"This is part 4 of my YouTuber-inspired look series. If you're new here and you don't know what that is, this is a series where I take my favorite YouTubers and turn their brand into a makeup look. And today we'll be doing Natsu D Slayer, he's my favorite YouTuber like ever, I'm a huge fan."

Natsu, despite knowing absolutely nothing about makeup, watched her intently.

"He is really funny and charming, and my favorite content of his is when he does collaborations with his friends. His chemistry with literally anyone is amazing." She said.

"Awww... that's so nice, and she's doing such a good job too. I know nothing about makeup and I can't judge her but I love the dragon. It looks like Mike Tyson's face tattoo but it's a dragon... and it has color." Natsu commented and laughs at his own stupid comparison.

"And this is the finished look." She smiled and did close-up shots of the details.

"It honestly looks amazing. Lucy, you look beautiful and I love the dragon." He smiled.

Lucy literally jumped from her seat and screamed bloody murder when she saw Natsu's latest video.

"Dragon Makeup?!"

She looked through her notifications and realized that he left a like on her video.

The thumbnail is a close-up of the dragon she painted on her face when he made an inspired makeup look of him.

She didn't hesitate to play the video. The video is a regular Reddit meme video and by the time he watched her video, she almost cried at all the things that he said. The footage of her video was cut and the only thing that was kept was the beginning, the end, and the Mike Tyson tattoo comparison to the Dragon which she found hilarious. She finished watching the video and pressed the like button and commented on her gratitude towards what he said.

It didn't take long for Natsu to find Lucy's channel intriguing. He followed her YouTuber-inspired look series based on pure curiosity and soon he finds her other content and is pretty impressed with what she could do with her brush.

He finds her really intriguing so he ended up reaching out to her and they slowly became friends.

One day, he contacted her.

"Hey, Lucy. I know my type of content isn't really in-lined with yours but I would love to collaborate with you. I'll be playing Uno with Erza and Gray next week and you're welcome to join us."

Lucy screamed in delight as she read the message. She immediately typed in her reply agreeing to the collab.

Lucy has so much fun playing with them. She now understands why Natsu loves collaborating so much with them.

Once the video is posted. There's a huge wave of fans loving her interactions with the group which is a huge relief to her.

This might be just the beginning of a wonderful and amazing relationship.
