Just dying about the fact like lucy did way more like politically/ socially then her dad could have dreamed of, and in the most funny way too.

At 17 she runs away and then becomes friends with a DRAGON MAN just because “she looked nice” and ends up in a guild filled with “ random ruffians”. The “ruffian” guild that she joins just so happens to includes a prince of another world, Multiple of the most powerful people on the continent, and has the entire kingdom indebted to them. She ends up friends with THE PRINCESS OF FIORE AND THE CELESTIAL SPIRIT KING!

And and and GET THIS, the guy/dragon she ran away with? HES A PRINCE OF AN EMPIRE AND ALL THE FIRE DRAGONS.

The way my girl went from struggling to summon two spirits one after the others (like not even simultaneously)

To being able to summon three spirits at the same times

As well as being one of the first (if it’s not the first) celestial wizard to use star dresses

And now in 100 Years Quest she can mix her star dresses which literally give her so much more potential  

Also, right now for her summoning two spirits simultaneously is NOTHING. She does it so effortlessly. 

She is the one who made the most progress in the guild ! So proud of her <3

TIME LOOP/HALF DREAM?

I think it would be funny if an enemy had magic that created “dreams” that kept the most important moment in someones life from occurring. They used it on natsu and lucy and their sent back the day they first met with no memory but things go a bit differently because the world itself if trying to keep them from meeting. Funnily enough they do meet because of fate or pure stubbornness and the world restarts, it’s now a time loop. They go through this like a million times and they just keep on meeting cause of just random things. Atp the rest of the guild is getting worried cause the fights over and they all broke out of their individual “dreams”(which are really nightmares because like trauma was really important to their character) a while ago. Eventually juvia and gray volunteer to go in. They figure it put and they their hardest to keep natsu and lucy from meeting. It finally works but then the “dream” keeps going and they find out that the future where natsu and lucy dont meeting is terrifying and horrible and full of death. The world collapses and natsu and lucy wake up confused, juvia and gray wake up horrified.

Fairy Tail Manga Reread Version

Lucy was so smart for this. It shows how quick witted she is and I love it. She used her situation for her own advantage. Jose’s expressions are so funny and it really shows how bewildered he was by her actions.

This is a scene that lacks any magical elements and I think it highlights how Lucy is more than just a damsel in distress or a character solely for fan service. Despite her hands being tied and missing her keys, she still managed to gain the upper hand in this circumstance. Since the start of the series, Lucy has grown so much and gained confidence in herself, although she still has a long way to go. She’s one, if not the best, developed character in the entire FT franchise. I honestly just love her 🫶.

Was Lucy the first one to give Juvia a hug during their fight in the tower of heaven ?  

Juvia experiences a hug for the first time of her life and discovers that sweet overwhelming feeling and she immediately wants to hug Gray and she does because that’s what members of the guild do of course they’re all friends and it’s totally normal to hug your firends. Even though it’s Gray and he doesn’t like physical touch she keeps doing it and here we are today seeing Gray hugging her back and I think I might cry writing this. 

Lucy also shows Juvia what true friendship between women feels like and I guess it helped showing Meldy kindness somehow. OMG i’m realizig things about a manga I’ve been reading for a decade.

(Side note: If you put Juvia and Lucy’s name together it makes JUCY and I think it’s hilarious!)
