And there goes another few rounds where you smother your boyfriends face with tons of kisses. He brought you many lipsticks and lip gloss, so it is only right you try to see the shade that matches, right? the shade, which makes his face feel even more ethereal. The only correct way to let people know that you're his and he's yours.

"Hmm... I think this shade suits your face better!" You moved the ones which made his face look more delightful. Shades of pink, red, coral, and all.

He did say that the number of kisses you gave him till then were enough, but deep down, he craved more. The way your soft lips felt against his skin left him breathless. The way areas where your lips left left a tingling and burning sensation, which, rather than being unpleasant, was more exciting

What was even more addicting was the way you would gently cup his face with your hands and attack his face ferverently. This was best for both of you. You get to have the ego boost after smothering or rather painting his face with your kisses, and he gets access to your unlimited display of affection.

"There! Now that's more like it you look like my lover now" putting emphasis on the word, you were grinning from ear to ear while admiring your masterpiece. When you tried to get up from his lap though...

in utter disbelief of the current timeline we find ourselves in. daniel howell is out of the closet and giggling at dick jokes. philip lester is swearing and making the dick jokes. and they’re comfortable, happy even?

in a better world, or perhaps just a well-written fanfic, Dan doesn’t die and Lucifer doesn’t go back to hell. Chloe and Lucifer get together and they get married and he becomes stepfather to Trixie. Lucifer purchases a shirt that says “I’m not the step-dad, I’m just the dad that stepped up.” He exclusively wears it around Dan, to Dan’s eternal chagrin.

And off to dreamland he goes. Seeing your lover catching a break in the middle of the drawing room is nothing out of the ordinary. What is a lot out of the ordinary is him sleeping with the plushie your brought for him and your... fluffy sweater wrapped around him.

"Oh, now this is life !" you squealed quietly to not wake up your boyfriend and quickly took pictures of him snuggling the bear plush.

"mhm... baby come... here..."

it looks like he was probably having the sweetest of dreams right now, considering how he was calling out your name with such need and warmth. Did your sweater emit your scent, which entered his sleep? perhaps since he was holding it very close to his face.

Your gaze softens at this sight. It has been quite a while since he got his well deserved rest.

"Good night sweetheart... May you only have sweet dreams tonight" and so you sealed your words with a kiss to his forehead.

As your tip toes vanished into the distance, ...

"... did they just... kiss me?..."
