Darling.
Finally finished my first acotar fic. It's a Tamsand fic based on Rhys going to visit Tamlin in fas. I hope everyone likes it, I'm super nervous lol.
Link to AO3 or read below. Happy reading!
https://archiveofourown.org/works/58618741
Sitting in chairs too delicate for either one of them, Rhysand crossed his legs while staring at the blonde male in front of him.
âWell? What do you want Rhysand?â Tamlin asked, folding his arms.
Rhys glanced at the arms and shoulders of the other male, noting the loss of muscle âI just thought Iâd come by and have a little chatâ
âSince when do we chat Rhysand? Usually you just invade minds and make threats.â
Rhys smirked âThought Iâd switch it up today. Though, it's no fun riling you up without an audience. Speaking of which, Iâm surprised Lucien isnât standing outside the door waiting to fight your battles for you.ââ
Glaring, Tamlin said âHeâs out hunting dinner for us. Not that I need him here. I can handle you on my own Rhysandâ
âIâm sure you can. You used to handle me quite well . After the first couple times of courseâ Rhys smirked.
âShut up Rhysandâ Tamlin snapped, trying not to think of what Rhysand was alluding to âthat was a long time ago. What do you really want?â
Rhys sighed âNot interested in a walk down memory lane Tamlin? Fine. Whatâs this I hear about you not protecting your borders?â
Tamlin stared at him then waved his hand âDo you see anyone here to do it?â
Rhys smirked âAh yes. My mate sure did her job well, didnât sheâ
Tamlin snorted âWith plenty of instruction from you Iâm sure. Or did you just use your special powers to control her?â
âCome now darling, do you really think that low of me?â
âYes, I do. And donât call me that Rhysandâ Tamlin growled
âAnd why not? Thatâs what I used to call you. Donât you remember, my darling? Back when you were following me around like a puppy and worshipping the ground I walked on. When I was sneaking into your tent in your Daddyâs war camp and teaching you everything you didnât know. Surely you havenât forgottenâ
Tamlin glowered and looked to the floor while a hint of a blush showed on his cheeks at the mention of their previous encounters âDonât call me what you call her.â
âJealous are we? Donât worry Tamlin, youâll always be my first darling. Just like I was your first-â
âStop. Stop bringing up the past. It means nothingâ
âon the contrary pet, it means everything. You ruined my life the day you betrayed me and got my family killed. And then you abused my mate. Iâll never forget it and Iâll never let you forget it. I will haunt you everyday of your life. Youâll never know when Iâll come. You will pay for what youâve doneâ
Gripping the arms of his chair, Tamlin gritted âhavenât I paid enough? You killed my brothers and your father murdered my mother. Was that not enough payback for you? Your actions forced me to be high lord something you knew I didnât want and wasnât prepared for and you left me alone! Not to mention all your sick games when you were working for Ama- for her. And then you stole my fiancĂ© and turned her against me. Got her to destroy my court for you. You want to talk about harming Feyre? How about everything you did to her under the mountain? Dressing her up practically naked and having her dance for you. Just to make me what? Jealous, angry? Well congratulations, you succeeded. Youâve ruined my life just as much as Iâve ruined yours. The difference is Iâve left you alone and you keep showing up to bother meâ
Rhys seethed âDo not speak about my mate. She was Falling apart while you sat there and did nothing! Everything I did was for a reason and she understands that. I didnât need to turn her against you. You did that yourself.â
âI couldnât do anything! You know that she was watching everything I did. If I reacted at all it would have been worse for Feyre.â
âand yet you did get her alone and what did you do? Tried to fuck her. Couldnât keep it in your pants for one night to free your beloved?â
âAnd where would I have taken her?â Tamlin yelled âI didnât know the ins and outs of the mountain. Ama-she would have hunted us down even if we had gotten out. And all I did was kiss her. She started undressing me. I thought that was what she needed from me. But you couldnât even let us have that moment. Then when Iâm forced to follow her back all I see is you with your tongue down her throat. You want to bring up the past? Then tell me Rhys, were you jealous? Of her or me? Could you taste me on her tongue? Did it remind you of us? Of how you sought me out and taught me things I had never even dreamed of? That first time we kissed? The first time I let you take me? The times after that?â
Rhys glowered as visions of those times danced around his mind. Feeling his pants tighten as the memories resurfaced, he cursed under his breath as the scent of his arousal filled the air.
Tamlin smirked as the scent hit him âdo you still think of it now? Do you picture me underneath you when you fuck her?â
âshut up Tamlinâ Rhys gritted out.
âThatâs what I thoughtâ Tamlin smirked, standing up âI think itâs time for you to go. Maybe your mate can take care of your little problemâ
He walked around the desk and started for the door when Rhysands hand shot out and grabbed his wrist.
Tamlin tried to pull his arm back but Rhys just tightened his grip âlet go of me Rhysandâ
Gaining his composure, Rhys stood up and quickly grabbed Tamlins other wrist, pulling him closer.
âI donât think I will Darling â Rhys crooned âmaybe youâre right. Maybe you do cross my mind time to time. Mostly when I have my mate in my favorite position of ours. Remember? Bent over the bed or table so I can see myself pounding in and out of her. Just like I used to watch my cock sink in and out of your tight hole.â
Tamlin, still trying to get out of Rhysands grasp, blushed at the words.
âBlushing Tamlin? Werenât you the one trying to rile me up with our past escapades? I know you enjoyed it Darling. I remember the way you used to scream my nameâ
Giving up on getting Rhys to let go, Tamlin muttered âtoo bad for you, it will never happen againâ
âon the contrary, I think itâs going to happen againâ Rhys moved both of Tamlins wrists to one hand, putting his other arm around his waist and pulled him against him âright nowâ
Tamlin shook his head, trying again to step away from Rhys. He stilled when he felt his erection bump against Rhysands.
Rhys leaned in and whispered in his ear âI can tell you want this Darling. You canât deny it.â Leaning in, he started kissing down Tamlins neck.
Tamlin growled which turned into a moan when Rhys sucked a small mark into his neck âRhys, pleaseâ
Rhys licked at the mark a couple times âplease what?â
âPlease, I donât want..â his words cut off with a groan as Rhys took that moment to bite down, hard, on his neck.
Rhys moved the arm on Tamlins waist down to squeeze his ass and moved him closer so their elections bumped again. Tamlin bit his lip to stop the moan that threatened to come out.
âIt sure doesnât feel like you donât want this. In fact, I think this is what we both need. Nowâ Rhys snapped and both their clothes were off, folded on the chair across the room âbe a good boy and turn aroundâ he said looking Tamlin up and down. He has definitely lost some muscle but he still had the body of a God âhands on the deskâ
Tamlin, distracted by the sight of Rhysâ member, hesitated before making a decision and turning around.
Rhys groaned as he took in the glorious sight that was Tamlins ass âgorgeousâ he said as he reached out and stroked one cheek. He definitely didnât lose any definition in this area. Rhys wondered if he were still as tight as he used to be.
âTell me darlingâ Rhys said as he groped onto Tamlins ass with both hands, massaging it while pulling apart to get a good look at the sweet hole in between âHow many males have taken my spot behind you? Have shoved their cocks into your tight heat?â
Head hanging as he tried not to give in to the pleasure of Rhys just groping him, Tamlin muttered âNo oneâ
âWhat was that? I couldnât hear you. Louder, darlingâ Rhys said as he moved a thumb down to stroke over Tamlins hole, making him shiver.
âNo one!â Tamlin said louder âI havenât been with anyone like that since youâ
âGoodâ Rhys said while lightly moving his thumb âI must admit that Iâve taken many others this way. Not since Iâve met my mate of course. Both males and females, but none have felt like youâ. He gently pushed his thumb into the other males entrance, both of them groaning. Rhys at the feeling of tight heat and Tamlin at the sudden feeling of a dry thumb in his ass.
âRhysâŠâ
âShhâŠRelax darling.â Rhys knelt down âlet me have a tasteâ
âWha-â Tamlins words cut off with a moan as he felt Rhys open his cheeks wider and lick a stripe over his hole.
Rhys continued to lick around, making it wet before slowly pushing it inside.
Tamlin threw his head back and moaned loudly âRhys, pleaseâ he begged.
Rhys pulled his tongue out, nipping one of Tams cheeks âplease what?â he crooned.
Groaning at the loss of contact and the bite, Tamlin pleaded âpleaseâŠmoreâ
âGladly my loveâ Rhys purred as he put his tongue back inside Tamlins furled hole, moving it in and around. Occasionally slipping it out and nibble on his rim, before shoving his tongue deeper.
Tamlin moaned at the feeling of Rhys moving in and out âOh godsâŠThat feels so.. goodâ
Rhys continued his actions until he could hear Tamlins breath quicken and his hole tighten.
Tamlin whined as he felt Rhys pull out âWhy did you stop?â
Standing up, Rhys grasped his own erection, moving his hand up and down, distributing the slick gathering in the tip of his cock. âDonât worry, Iâll let you finish if you continue being a good boy. Nowâ he said as he reached forward with his other hand and turned Tamlins face towards him with his fingers âget my fingers nice and wet so I can continue to playâ
Tamlins eyes fluttered shut as he opened his mouth and started sucking hungrily on  Rhysâ fingers.
Rhys continued to stroke himself as he watched Tamlin.
After a minute or 2 of trying not to erupt just from Tamlins hot mouth and feeling that his fingers were sufficiently wet enough, Rhys removed them.
Leaning over and kissing Tamlins spine, Rhys slid his fingers down to his hole and rubbed them around before slowly moving his pointer finger into Tamlins hot heat.
Though loosened a little by Rhysâ tongue, the younger males breath still hitched at the feeling of the finger moving inside.
Rhys, still leaned over him, added his middle finger feeling Tamlin tighten.
Kissing around his neck and shoulders, Rhys murmured gently ârelax, Tam.â
Tamlin took a deep breath and relaxed as he got used to the feeling. The more Rhys moved his fingers, the more pleasure he felt. Soon he was grinding back on his fingers âmmm..Rhys, harder pleaseâ.
âYeah? You like that?â
Tamlin nodded, moaning as Rhys started moving his fingers harder into him.
âYou think you can take one more?â Rhys purred
Tamlin nodded âyes! Yes please Rhysâ he begged.
Rhys smirked as he knelt down again and licked around where his fingers were pumping in and out. When he felt it was wet enough, he added a third finger.
âOh gods!â Tamlin cried out at the feeling of fullness he felt just from three of Rhysâ fingers.
Rhys kept plunging his fingers in and out of Tamlin while occasionally licking around his hole.
âRhysâ Tamlin groaned âRhys, Iâm so close againâ
Standing up while continuing to pump his fingers in and out of Tamlin, Rhys slowly stood up. He leant down and with a pointed tongue lightly licked a trail from the bottom of Tamlins spine to his neck where he sucked a mark into leaving Tamlin to gasp and moan.
Rhys moved his free hand around and gripped Tamlins member hard around the base, making the other male cry out âRhys!â
âYouâre not going to finish on my fingers. You can cum when Iâm buried deep in your assâ
Tamlin panted âPut it in then. Iâm readyâ
âPatience, darlingâ Rhys cooed as he removed his fingers from inside and his hand from Tamlins cock âIâm going to need a little help getting more wet before we get to that. Why donât you be a good boy and put those pretty lips around my cock. Get me nice and wet for youâ
Straightening up and turning around, Tamlin made sure to keep eye contact with Rhysand as he slowly kneeled down.
Tamlin licked his lips and reaches out to grab Rhysâ hard member in his hand. He slowly leaned in and kissed fhe tip, making Rhys groan.
âcmon babyâ
Tamlin furrowed his eyes at the Nickname but started liking the length of him before taking it into his mouth. He coughed and pulled back as it hit the back of his throat. But he tried again, swallowing down a little at a time before he could finally take the whole thing.
Rhys moaned as he looked down at the other male with his mouth full. He started slowly thrusting âMade for this my darling. With those lips of yours. You look perfect with my cock in your mouthâ
Tamlin moaned around the length. Both at the feeling and taste of Rhys and at the praise he was receiving even though a part of him raged at Rhys being in control.
Rhys continued to thrust in and out of Tamlins hot mouth. At some point he gripped the blonde locks to help guide him along until he felt himself get close.
Pulling his member out, Rhys rubbed his tip over Tamlins mouth one more time. He stepped back, looking down at his lover whose hair was messed and eyes glossy. Rhys reached out and stroked a hand down one cheek before saying âGet up, hands back on the deskâ
Tamlin rolled his eyes at Rhysands bossy tone but did as he was told. He got up and started to turn around until Rhys reached out and grabbed a hold of his wrist âWaitâ
Turning back to face Rhys fully, Tamlin asked âWhat?â
Rhys was silent as he studied Tamlins face. The furrowed brow, his green eyes, the swollen lips and the flushed cheeks âBeautifulâ
Tamlin flushed even more âShut upâ
âNeverâ Rhys murmured sliding his hand to the back of Tamlins head, fingers tangling in his hair. Rhys pulled him closer âCome hereâ
Rhys leaned in and softly kissed Tamlin on his mouth, lips still swollen from before. Softly moaning, he kissed harder as Tamlin tentatively grabbed his arm, kissing back.
Licking Tamlins mouth making him open, Rhys deepened the kiss until they were fully making out. Both grabbing onto the other, running their hands across the others body.
When Rhys squeezed Tamlins ass, he broke the kiss with a gasp âAre you going to fuck me or what?â
Rhys growled âWith pleasure darling, turn around.â
Tamlin quickly did as he was told, putting his hands back on the desk.
Spitting on his hand, Rhys moved it up and down his cock before placing it onto Tamlins hole. He rubbed it around until he felt Tamlin relax and then he slowly pushed it in.
Both males groaned at the feeling. Rhys at the pleasure of the tight heat and Tamlin at the slight pain of the first cock in his ass in the centuries since he was last with Rhys.
Rhys worked in the first bit before stopping to let Tamlin adjust and to stop himself from losing control at the tightness swallowing his member.
Once he got used to the feeling, Tamlin started shifting his hips back, moving back on Rhysands penis.
Rhys moaned while tightening his hands on Tamlins lithe hips while starting to move deeper.
They both moaned at the feeling of their joining. Rhys continuing to go faster and harder as their cries of pleasure grew louder.
Tamlin could feel he was close as he took his hand off the desk and reached for his throbbing member.
âUh uh, put your hands back on the desk Darling. You will cum on my cock and nothing else.â
âI cantâ Tamlin breathed while obeying and putting his hands back on the desk âI canât.. I need to be touched. Please Rhys.â
Rhys stopped moving âits either you cum without touching or I pull out now and leave you wantingâ
âNo!â Tamlin cried âplease. Please donât stop. Iâll do itâ
âyouâll do what, darling?â
âIll cum on your cock. I wont touch myself. Ill listenâ
Rhys smirked and with a smack on Tamlins ass, earning him a gasp and a moan from the other male, he continued thrusting âgood boyâ
Gripping Tamlins hips, Rhys started slamming into him harder and deeper than before. Looking down and watching himself enter Tamlin over and over, he canât help but let out a moan at the overwhelming euphoria of being enveloped in his tight heat.
Angling his hips, Rhys knew he hit Tamlins spot when the males claws came out and dug into the desk as he called out his name âRhys! Right there. Oh gods!â
Tamlin continued to moan and scratch at the desk as Rhys fucked him harder and faster. Rhys thrusted a few more times until he felt his orgasm coming on.
Feeling that Tamlin was also close by the tightening of his hole, Rhys tightened his grip on his hips âHere it comes Tam. Are you gonna take it all?â
Tamlin, silver gathering in his eyes at the overwhelming pleasure of Rhys taking him, cried out âyes! Yes! Please Rhys!â
âcum with me darlingâ Rhys said as he continued to hit that spot. A few more thrusts and they both released together. Rhysand emptying himself into Tamlin while he came on the desk he was bent over.
Panting, Rhys leaned over and put his forehead on Tamlins back while he calmed down. A few minutes pass as both males catch their breathe.
Rhys rubbed his hands up and down Tamlins sides as he came down. Already thinking about how long until Lucien came back and if they had time for another round, maybe on the floor, Rhys missed Tamlin tensing up.
Tamlin, coming down from his high and realizing what just happened, what he let happen, started beating himself up over giving in to Rhys again. Tensing up as he already regretted his actions âGet outâ
Blinking, Rhys straightened up, softening cock still inside Tamlin âWhat?â
Sighing and straightening up so Rhys had no choice but to pull out, watching as his seed dripped out of Tamlins rear until he turned around.
Crossing his arms , Tamlin looked blankly at Rhys âI said get out. You got what youâve come for and now you can leave. â
âDo you always kick your bedmates out as soon as youâre done, Tamlin? Or are you worried we will have some company soon? We must have time for a second round, letâs just go to your room. Itâs been a while since Iâve been in there. â
âNo, Rhysand. Itâs over. This will never happen againâ
Staring at Tamlin blankly for a moment before snapping his fingers and having his clothing back on, Rhysand picked at the lint on his shirt âoh I think it will Darling. In fact, why donât we make this a monthly thing. Every month, Iâll come and have you bend over and let me fuck that tight ass of yours where ever I feel like. Call it reparations for everything youâve doneâ
âNo. I donât want to see you again, Rhysand. Donât come backâ
Rhys tsked and stepped closer to Tamlin, Gripping his still naked hips âThatâs clearly a lie my love. Was it not you just screaming my name while my cock was inside you? You clearly enjoyed it Darling and you will continue to enjoy it. No one will ever make you feel the way I do. Iâll never leave you aloneâ
Leaning in, he kissed Tamlin on the lips, biting a little ânow be a good boy and clean yourself up before Lucien comes back. We donât need him seeing my property in all its gloryâ.
Pulling back and stepping away, Rhys ran his fingers through Tamlins messy blonde hair and stepped back âsee you next month my darlingâ and winnowed away.

Chapter Eight: Lucas
On Monday, I returned to school. I sat at lunch with Hillary and her friends, as usual. I lay in the grass eating grapes and staring at the clouds while Hillary took pictures of the street vendors with her camera. She lay on her stomach beside me, propped up on her elbows. I was startled when she decided to lean over me out of nowhere. "Hey, Lucky?" Hillary asked. My eyes widened as her hair hung near my face, tickling my chin and forehead.
"Whoa," I whispered. Hillary smiled and gave me a playful shove.
"Shut up," Hillary laughed, "What's Lucky short for? Lionel? Lucien? Lucas?"
"Nothing. It's not my name," I answered casually, "It's a stage name."
Hillary sat up and grabbed my wrist. "So everyone calls you Lucky, and it has nothing to do with your name? Do you even like being called Lucky?" Hillary asked.
I blinked hard. "Only my dad uses my real name... I'm so used to hearing people call me Lucky that it feels like my name sometimes," I replied. One of Hillary's friends returned to the grass, and I returned to my handful of grapes.
"Hey, Lucky, you want some?" her male friend asked. He'd bought a bucket of wings from a nearby restaurant. I nodded and lifted my bag of grapes to offer him a few. I think lunch was the only time of day when I felt normal. Hillary's friends were cool like her. And I think she was starting to like me.
"Hey, Lucky, are you joining any after-school clubs?" Hillary asked.
"I'm still waiting to see the creative dance club," I replied. Hillary grinned.
"I'll text you the info... And speaking of that, I'll be in the quad at lunchtime tomorrow instead of here," Hillary replied as she pulled her phone out of her bag. I got a phone call from Rex and stepped away.
"Yeah," I answered.
"You need to get in the studio and start workshopping songs for the album soon," Rex commanded.
"Uh-huh, yeah," I replied, "Send me the address. I'll go after I do my after-school stuff." I didn't feel like talking to him. Not after how he spoke to me.
"What's your problem?" Rex questioned. I scoffed and hung up in his face. Rex had a lot of nerve asking me what my problem was. I jumped when I felt a hand on my arm.
"Are you alright?" Hillary asked. I blinked hard at her. "You always seem stressed after you answer phone calls."
I wished she wouldn't have mentioned it. "Yeah, well... I guess that means he's doing his job," I mumbled. When I caught my tone, I backtracked. "I didn't mean that. Hillary, I'm a little jet-lagged. I didn't think before I spoke... What I said was terrible."
It wasn't terrible. I meant every word, and I wished I could've said more... But I couldn't dare show any sign of thanklessness. I pushed my feelings deep down inside, swallowing my pride to push on. I forced a smile and rushed back to campus. I wanted to be alone for a few minutes.
I had a few minutes before class to get over myself. Ms. Ito let me in early, and I sat with my head down for a while. "Feeling sick?" Ms. Ito questioned. I shook my head. "You sure?"
"Yeah, I'm okay... How are you?" I asked.
"I'm alright," Ms. Ito replied. That was the last real conversation I had all day. When I got to my apartment after club sign-ups, I remembered I had to go to the studio.
I put my happy face back on and got a ride to the studio. I carried my notebook in and was immediately met with lawyers and adults with clipboards and laptops. "What's all this?" I questioned.
"Your father signed the contracts when you were under his care, but that's all up for renegotiation now that you're emancipated," Mr. Wagner explained, "Rex didn't tell you?"
Of course, Rex didn't tell me. He left me to the wolves again, and I had no one in my corner. They pushed me to sign right away, but Dad taught me better. Music was a tricky business, and Dad taught me specific phrases to look out for on a contract. "I wanna take this home and read it first. Give me until Friday?" I asked.
"Come on, Luck. You know usâ."
I grinned and tapped the stack of paperwork on the table. "I know you, but I don't know this contract," I half-joked, "Friday? And I'll call you if anything comes up." I had more leverage as a musician than I did as an actor. I could say no and negotiate. And if they were stubborn, I could walk.
"Alright. Friday, Luck. So, I guess we're done here for the day," Mr. Wagner sighed. I nodded and stuffed the contract in my backpack along with my notebook.
I walked half the way to my apartment, running into Hillary on my way to dinner. "Lucky!" she exclaimed. I waved. "Are you busy?"
I jogged across the street to meet her. "Nope, plans got canceled. I wanted to grab something for dinner," I replied. She playfully bumped into me as we walked.
"Have dinner at my place tonight. Maybe it'll cheer you up," Hillary offered. I smirked.
"Why? Do I look sad or something?" I questioned. "And sure, I'd love to."
"Heads up, I live with my brothers. It's just us three," Hillary warned me, "And we're gonna have spaghetti and meatballs."
I followed behind. "Hey, Hillary⊠Thanks for inviting me to dinner," I replied sincerely. Hillary looked me in the eye and grinned.
"No problem, Lucky. I'm right here," Hillary replied as she entered the house. "I brought a friend with me!"
"Do they like spaghetti because we don't have anything else today?" a deep voice asked.
"Lucky, do you like spaghetti?" Hillary asked. I nodded. "He likes spaghetti!"
Two men cheered playfully. Hillary removed her shoes and set her bag by the door, and I copied her. "Got fired from the stupid pasta place, so I took a shitton of breadsticks!" one of her brothers shouted.
One of her brothers came out and set the table, walking straight past us before backtracking. "Hey, you look like that kid from Letters To Hope," he chuckled.
"That was my first movie," I replied.
He squinted at me. "Lucky Luthor?" he questioned.
"Yup," I nodded.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Joey," he introduced himself. I shook his hand.
Her other brother brought dinner out. "Joey, go get the legally procured breadsticks, please," her other brother ordered, "Sorry, I'm Jake. When she brought a friend, I thought she meant Robert."
"Oh no... I'm Lucky," I replied as I reached to shake his hand.
Jake looked at Hillary and then at me. "No kiddin'..." Jake grinned.

mlfns said: you said you had answers. - from Bucky
âI do, they might just be ones you donât like hm?â
{ Caution had to be exercised where the tortured war hero was concerned, Lucien was above all aware of that fact - accustomed to managing trauma on a similar level. Valentin often had relapses which would leave him mute and unresponsive. ( Heâd sit still as stone and only respond when Lucien adopted his HYDRA mindset, allowing harsh tones to bark his way. ) Sometimes the experience was as harrowing for him and in those circumstances; he dissociated. It had had become second nature to bury the anguish. They all had their methods of coping. Bucky wore gloves and hoarded plums and Lucien, well - his tended to be more self-destructive didnât they? }
âIâm assuming youâre not talking like in general terms, love?â
{ The sparkle had faded from trade-mark mischievous sapphire blues, gaze lowering as he took a deep, almost cleansing breath, reciting Russian internally - ( knowing better than to speak such language in front of him. ) Instead he rolled his shoulders, preparing himself for the inevitable journey down memory lane, plucking out a cigarette from pristine packet in his jacket and placed it between his lips, taking a deep soulful drag, gesturing at him impatiently. }
âShoot - ah - I mean ask away and all that jazz.â
#mlfns#â | Yeah it's way too many feels ; way too much emotion. ( Roleplay Prompt. )#â | V; Trapped inside these prison walls. ( HYDRA. )

I did not want to address this but I will because at this stage this is getting ridiculous
Steph asked the most common questions floating around and if you saw the most liked questions posted on public it was Gwynriel questions (which Sarah can't answer or confirm them as a couple), about the ACOTAR show and about Lucien.
Those were questions people wanted to know.
And I don't blame our side of the fandom for asking more about Gwyn in specific because we are constantly shat on by one group. Last live Gwyn wasn't mentioned at all yet there was a question about Elain's love interest and no one threw a fit.
We finally had the answer to Gwyn's age because some of you were pushing the theory that Gwyn is a minor hence labeling us all p*dos indirectly which is not only idiotic but harmful.
The majority of you probably wanted a confirmation for the couple you wanted yet you knew SJM isn't confirming anything about the next book.
Steph obviously tried to focus more on CC2 questions and Sarah took more time answering those questions because CC2 happens to be her next release.
Now that we're happy we got some answers about our beloved characters that is also something you probably want to know about Azriel (if you see Azriel as his own character as well outside a ship) we already know he sings in his POV so it wasn't new information and Sarah avoided answering the shadows question because the Shadows also happen to be a hot topic in the fandom on both sides and most likely one of the popular questions and Sarah avoided answering it. There was a question on the Valkyries and what their bracelets represent (Nesta, Emerie, Gwyn). There was a question on Lucien because Lucien fans want to know whether they'll get their sassy Fox boy back. She answered a question about if they started the casting process yet for the show.
Steph is doing us a courtesy by having these lives or else we wouldn't see much of SJM on screen. She is not a professional interviewer, this is not a formal interview, this is basically two friends having a good chat. Everytime they go live yes we expect a lot off off topic conversations to happen because this is not scripted, it's not a book tour or something, it's just a chill live. This is why there are more general non-Bookish questions, they're doing this for fun. The reason the live chats are off in the first place because some people in this fandom (I'm speaking in general) were disrespectful to Josh and so thank you for ruining it for everyone.
If the live was mostly about Azriel and Elain questions don't tell me you won't harass other fans about it, you do it regularly and you'll do it even worse whenever a question about Azriel and Elain is answered even if it wasn't about a ship you'll make it all about them.
You've constantly ridiculed us by saying we're delusional for supporting what you call a âcrackshipâ, you came up with the nickname Gleeriels because both Gwyn and Azriel sing (which doesn't even bother me but shows to what extent you like to ridicule others), you constantly make fun or throw insults at Gwynriel which I've seen before and I hear is a daily occurrence.
But you cannot even fathom to let those fans enjoy whatever crumbs they get even though you were hoping to get the same? Didn't some of you went ahead and yelled Elriel Endgame as soon as she answered the snowball fight question? Yeah.. imagine if the rest of the questions were about Elain (even if it had nothing to do with Azriel but you can't see her outside that ship) that would've been a fucking nightmare.
If you were more inclined to stick to your own lane then people would be less hostile towards you but you've been doing a great job at making this fandom a toxic place and wonder why it backfires at you.
#acosf#acosf spoilers#gwynriel#I'm not here for a fucking ship war#I'm here to enjoy content about the ship I like and make theories/analysis#I blocked most of you because I do not want to see your content#or engage with any of you anymore#I'll probably scold myself for not keeping quiet about this#but I just wanted to rant

[CN] Lucienâs Sunset Date (eng)
this date is amazing ugly sobbing but if this doesnât post Iâm rioting. also, this makes me wanna dance under the stars with lucien while listening to feel good by fromis_9 is that too much to ask, universe?
--
MC: the sweet and sour short ribs, black pepper beef tenderloin, boiled cabbage heart... the meal is almost done!
I checked the recipes on my mobile phone while checking on the dishes in the bento box. Recently, Lucienâs research institute is working on a new project. He stayed in the institute for several days and did not come home.
I studied a few new dishes in my free time, but I never had the opportunity to try them with him. So, I took advantage of the rest of the day to cook and made a bento. Of course, I was also planning to see him out of my own selfishness.
When I happily took a few quick photos of the bento, I marked âProfessor Xuâs love bentoâ on the photos with cute fonts. When I was about to go out, I received a text message and opened it to see that Lucien sent a strange address.
MC: ?
Is this a mistake? I dialed Lucienâs phone doubtfully.
Lucien: Did you receive the address?
MC: Um, where is this?
Lucien: This is where I am now. I guessed that you would come to me for lunch.
MC: ???
MC: How did you know?
Lucien: Because⊠black pepper beef tenderloin, sweet and sour short ribs, and boiled cabbage heart.
MC: ...Lucien! Are you studying mind reading for your new project at the institute?
His shallow laughter came from the earpiece.
Lucien: The project sounds very interesting, but you seem to forget that my research field is brain science. If you want to know the answer, you can open the photo album now.
I hung up the call, opened my phoneâs photo album, and a buffering icon appeared in the middle of the screen. After a few seconds, my photo album automatically updated a piece. I have never seen the picture before.
The photo shows an exclusive courtyard with a wooden log door frame and red brick wall, and a row of old-fashioned labour utensils are displayed at the foot of the wall. In the middle of the yard is a 28-brand bicycle, its style reminiscent of the 1970s.
And under the light of the noon sun, reflected on the wall is the shadow of a person. I recognise it almost at a glance as Lucien.
âDingâ my phone has received a text message.
Lucien: Do you know the answer now?
After Lucienâs reminder, I finally realised. Last week, there was a problem with my phone and I needed to use another cloud account for verification. So, I used Lucienâs account temporarily, but I must have forgotten to log out. In other words, during this period, our mobile phones were using the same cloud account, so the photo album was also in a shared state.
MC: YeahâŠ
On my way to the private courtyard with the bento box, I blame my own carelessness in my heart, while repeatedly confirming the appearance of the âinventoryâ inside the box. Lucien must have seen the recipe that I saved in the photo album, not even the photos taken of the box just now have been spared.
I sighed and knocked on my head a little, then I suddenly realised again. If our mobile phones have been synced for more than a week, that means that all the photos I took during that timeâŠ
I quickly send a text message to Lucien.
MC: Lucien, have you seen anything else in the album? What photos?
Lucien: For example?
MC: For example, something that impresses youâŠ
Lucien: Are you saying that this subject is my photo?
My fingers flicked subconsciously as Lucienâs reply appeared on the screen.
Lucien: I forgot to say that next time, you can shoot with more integrity, that way I can cooperate with you on more poses.
He really!!
He often took pictures of himself reading books or doing experiments, but he didnât take any others! This cunning man!
(translatorâs note:Â the original translation refers to him as âa lion manâ, basically saying that heâs sly and superior.)
When I arrived at the lane where the courtyard was located, I saw Lucien from a distance standing and waiting for me. I hurriedly raised my hand to him.
MC: Lucien, is your research tricky? Have you set aside the time to eat?
Lucien took the bento in my hand and looked at me with happy but tired eyes.
Lucien: Itâs not too tricky. As for having good meals⊠if the standard is this bento, then i really canât call any of them good meals.
He took my hand and leads me through the door. When I stand in the courtyard, the sense of precipitation of the years becomes stronger.
MC: How can you be in this place? Is it related to research?
Lucien: Well, this research project will conduct clinical trials here.
MC: This is actually a new research base?
Lucien: To be precise, itâs a temporary research base.
MC: What about the other people of the research institute?
Lucien: The study will officially start tomorrow, and today we gave them the day off.
MC: It turned out to be so, but how could the research base be chosen in a yard with such a sense of age?
Lucien didnât answer. He took me to sit down at the square table in the courtyard.
Lucien: Based on the understanding of ___, I answered your question, but after that, your curiosity will only grow more questions. So, before this, letâs eat first. Iâll give you a good tour after we eat.
After supervising Lucien eating the lunch, he took me by the hand and walked into the second part of the courtyard. The style of the building is consistent with the courtyard, even more so seeing the rest of the architecture.
The dark grey rough floor exudes a faint smell of cement, and the green leather wall is painted with the four red characters âhard workâ. The three classic furniture pieces restore the old texture and the rest of the daily necessities present also exude a strong sense of age.
Lucien: How do you feel?
MC: Although I obviously havenât experienced this era, it seems as if iâve really returned to the past.
Lucien: The research team here has spent a lot of time restoring it to seem like the 70s.
MC: Iâm even more curious now that you mention it. What kind of research is it that you need to have a venue like this?
Lucien: Itâs a study on the healthy brain of the elderly. For people with Alzheimerâs disease, or elderly with hidden risks of clinical depression.
MC: Iâve heard that thereâs no effective treatment or medicine for these conditions, is that true?
Lucien: Well, Alzheimerâs disease can be said to be a serious challenge facing modern brain science research. Even this research can only focus on early intervention before illness, while observing the quantity and quality of brain cells.
MC: So, why do you want to restore this place to the 70s specifically?
Lucien: The brain of elderly people is often in a state of stagnation, so the brain will easily degenerate. The most memorable experiences of the elderly staying here are concentrated in the seventies, which is the most meaningful time of their lives.
Lucien: Putting them in a familiar environment to stimulate the brain is the basis of this research project.
MC: use memories to wake up the brain and prevent them from succumbing to sickness⊠thatâs it. It would be nice if more people could know this method.
I looked around, and suddenly had a flash of inspiration.
MC: Lucien! Can I use my camera to record this research? This might attract more investors.
Lucien didnât speak, he looked at me a little bit more and then smiled. Realising my offer was a bit abrupt, I quickly tried to change the topic.
MC: Though, it doesnât matter if I canât shoot. After all, this involves the confidentiality of research. But, if our memories can be recorded, this way, when weâre old, weâll have more memories to look back on in these cases.
He remained silent, but the smile on his face was deeper.
MC: What happened? Did I say something wrong?
Lucien: No, if you want to shoot, I can ask the patientâs families for their opinions. But, I think they will agree, because what you want to do is also a very meaningful thing.
MC: I thought you would think that my idea was too bad to considerâŠ
Lucien: Iâm just happy. It turns out that youâve already planned so far for our future.
After going through the entire building, Lucien took me to the backyard again. In the centre of the yard was a dense wisteria tree. There was a breeze in this early autumn afternoon, and the sun above also swept away most of the hot temperature.
The backyard shrouded by the wisteria flowers was concealed by a shady and drooping branch, swaying leisurely in the air but looking very comfortable. Obviously, itâs my first time coming here, but I feel a familiar sense of deja vu.
Lucien: What do you think?
MC: It feels weird to say it, but just for a moment, I felt that this scene was familiar.
Lucien followed my line of sight and looked at the branch of wisteria.
Lucien: On a scientific level, you must have visual experience. But I have a more romantic explanation. It may be that our souls snuck out in a dream, and then we met in a yard in the seventies.
He turned to look at me, his dark eyes deep like an exquisite pool of water.
Lucien: Maybe they were there and had a stable and slow life.
His voice is calm and determined, and his words fell to the bottom of my heart.
MC: Lu-Lucien, youâre seriously bluffing to me againâŠ
Lucien didnât seem to care about my disbelief, the pool in his eyes was still flowing with waves.
Lucien: If you donât believe it, do you want to try it?
MC: What is there to try?
Lucien: Having a slow dream in the courtyard of the seventies.
MC: Like our souls, spend a lifetime in a dream?
Sure enough, I subconsciously believed Lucienâs words, but the initiator only smiled and nodded.
Lucien: âLifeâ is a subjective word, and how long a life is, is up to you to feel and decide. So as long as you want, we can spend our âlifeâ here.
Maybe I was moved by Lucienâs romantic theory, or because I havenât seen him for a long time, but either way, I eagerly agreed to his proposal.
MC: Since weâre going to live a slow life in the seventies today, letâs be more involved!
I took out headphones and my mobile phone and placed them on the stone table in the yard.
MC: Iâm asking professor Xu to please confiscate these modern contrabands.
Lucien nodded knowingly, and took out his phone as I did.
Lucien: It seems we have to find something to seal them in the âfutureâ.Â
As he said this, he found a wooden box and put all of our electronic products inside of it.
Lucien: Welcome to the seventies, silly girl.
--
The weak autumn sunlight in the room shone crookedly through the window like a painting waiting for us. Though, we donât have the mind to appreciate it, only focusing on living in the slowed down time.
Lucien seems to have come prepared, and the activities proposed were endless. He taught me how to light a kerosene lamp and took me to try an old fashioned sewing machine. We played with fans leisurely together, and listened to the squeaky Suzhou Pingtan on the radio.
(translatorâs note: suzhou pingtan is a traditional musical art in china)
Time seems to have really slowed down for us while we do a lot of things, but the sun outside is still mild and bright. After listening to a pingtan, I eagerly looked at Lucien
MC: Lucien, what should we do next?
Lucien: What do you want to do?
MC: May I decide?
Lucien: Well, I also want to know what you think of this slow life.
MC: Well⊠I canât think of my answer at the moment.
Lucien: Itâs okay, just let the flow happen. Rather than using your brain to think about what you want, itâs better to leave the feelings to your heart. This deliberate content doesnât necessarily conform to the meaning of a slow life. What you feel currently is the most important.
MC: Then⊠can we sit in the sun longer? Is that too plain?
Lucien: I think itâs a good idea.
After getting Lucienâs affirmative answer, I also dreamed of sitting in the sun with him. Only soon, my beautiful fantasy was disillusioned, because we searched the entire yard and found that there was only one recliner.
Lucien and I stood under the wisteria frame in the backyard, looking at the narrow chair in front of us.
MC: Hey⊠how about you sit down first? We can take turns.
The moment I blurted it out, I felt like I said something silly again. I blushed and was about to fight for myself further, but he reached out and pulled me into his arms. Before I knew what he was going to do, Lucien grabbed the back of my waist and gently closed the distance, our warm breaths instantly intertwined
Before I could speak under his deep eyes, my centre of gravity suddenly fell and I was in a soft embrace. My eyes moved slightly down, and I found that we were sitting on the recliner at the same time. My legs had encircled his body without me knowing when.
The motion startled the recliner, and it shook slightly. I couldnât find my balance for a while, and I subconsciously hooked onto Lucienâs neck.
MC: Lu-Lucien?
I struggled to stand up, but Lucien released the hands that were fixed on my waist, and I was forced to tighten my arms around his neck. There was a warm breath stagnated in the air between us. The suffocating sensation reminds me of the air above an asphalt road in the summer.
Lucien: Itâs boring to be alone in the sun, I think two people would be better.
MC: Thereâs nothing boring about being in the sunâŠ
Fearing that I would make him uncomfortable, I lightly held on to prevent myself from slumping into him.
Lucien: You can relax, this chair is enough to hold the weight of both of us.
MC: I-Iâm very relaxed.
Lucien:  Are youâŠ.
I heard his low and dull voice noise in my ears, and I hung my head even more as my face flushed. He stretched out a hand, pressed the knuckle of his right hand against my chin and gently lifted it up.
In the next second, a gentle and light kiss fell on my lips.
I instinctively closed my eyes and could only hear the beating of my heart in my head. Although it was only a soft kiss like a dragonflyâs, time seemed to slow down. When we finally separated again, it was really as if we had spent a lifetime in that moment.
Lucien: I can be sure that you are really relaxed now.
When I blushed and didnât know how to react, Lucienâs cell phone began ringing in the wooden box. As if I had caught a life-saving straw, I stood up and started to go into the other room, his laughter coming from behind.
MC: Answer your phone, Iâll be in the bathroom!
Lucien: I know, Iâll finish up soon.
When I came out of the bathroom, Lucienâs call was just ending. He saw me coming and waved his phone apologetically.
Lucien: Sorry, ___. Thereâs a problem with the preparations of the study at the institute, and I need to return to discuss it with the research team.
MC: Itâs ok! Iâm very satisfied with your company for the whole afternoon.
After returning everything in the yard to its original position, I reluctantly took Lucienâs arm and prepared to leave with him. After spending almost the whole day with Lucien in the private courtyard, I feel a bit reluctant to give him up here. Perhaps seeing through my mood, Lucien stopped walking.
Lucien: Maybe we can slow down our departure?
Following his gaze, my eyes fell on the bicycle in the middle of the yard, the same one from his earlier picture to me.
MC: You mean, we can ride that?
Lucien: It doesnât matter, I can find someone to send it back tomorrow.
Lucien stepped forward and patted the horizontal bar in front of the bike.
Lucien: Itâs just that this time I still feel wrong, so ___ can sit here.
I couldnât help but think of our experience of cycling in Canada. At that time, I was anxious to ride the bike, my hands and feet shaky.
(translatorâs note: this is a reference to Lucienâs Autumn Date, available in EN)
Lucien: Want to revisit it?
Lucien supported the handlebars and body, his slender and powerful arms firmly supported the bicycle. I nodded and looked at his hand that was supporting the seat.
MC: I wonât be as anxious today as I was that time.
After confirming that I was sitting firmly, Lucien stepped on the pedals. He lifted his hand and wrapped me in his arms, a reassuring temperature stemming from my back.
MC: Because, I hope this road can be longer.
A white crescent moon took over the setting early, and the pink-ish purple sunset was like peach-flavoured candy. In the middle of the modern city, Lucien and I looked extremely out of place with our old-fashioned bicycle, and the angle of the sun stretched our shadows very long.
Our two shadows, they slowly inched towards the next day.

[CN] Gavinâs Private Photoshoot Date (Eng Translation)
đ Warning: This post contains detailed spoilers for a date which has not been released in English servers! đ
Valentineâs 2020 Collection: Kiro // Lucien // Victor
MC wants to go for a couple photoshoot with Gavin but is afraid of getting rejected. To lessen the potential blow of rejection, she asks Willow to play âmatchmakerâ and pretend that Willow won the chance to go for the photoshoot in a lucky draw but has no use for it
Gavin arrives, and MC fumbles with her reasons as to how the photoshoot would be beneficial for her work. To her surprise, Gavin agrees without a fuss
On the day of the photoshoot, they head to Planet Photo Studio
MC is unsure which theme to go for, so the photographer recommends a rather sultry theme incorporating feathers and spider webs. She asks Gavin for his opinion, and he is fine with it after making sure MC doesnât have to wear revealing clothing
They change into their outfits, and she gets stunned by how he looks:
The slightly modified style matches the striped shirt Gavin is wearing. A feather-shaped pendant rests near his slightly exposed chest. It perfectly brings out the casualness that oozes from Gavinâs bones.
Noticing my eyes lingering on him, the corners of Gavinâs mouth lift.
Gavin: Whatâs wrong?
MC: Nothing much. I rarely see you dressed like this, so Iâm a little surprised. What I mean by âsurprisedâ is⊠that you look exceptionally handsome!
Not expecting my straightforward compliment, Gavin coughs lightly, and turns his head to the side to hide his blush.
Gavin: You surprised me today as well⊠Letâs go in.
MCâs confidence in doing the photoshoot eventually wanes because the photographer isnât satisfied with how the photos turn out
The photographer comments that Gavin and MC seem to be too focused in aligning themselves with the theme of the photoshoot, but she wants to capture the real MC and Gavin, not just the feathers and spider webs.
According to the sequence of the photoshoot, the next pose requires me to sit on Gavinâs lap.
I repeat to myself internally: âThis photoshoot requires me to be intimate. Just be natural, be intimateâŠâ I let out a breath, and carefully sit on Gavinâs lap.
However, my stiff body feels like a wooden puppet. My pose ends up looking neither seductive nor sexy. The fact that the photographer has yet to press the camera shutter makes me even more nervous.
At this moment, a firm hand suddenly holds my waist. Gavinâs other hand cradles the back of my neck, his fingers carrying with them irresistible strength.
The distance between us closes in an instant, and I feel the warmth of Gavinâs palm on my cheek.
Looking at my flushed face through the reflection in his amber eyes, I am about to open my mouth to speak, but hear a shutter click from the side.
They finally get a satisfactory shot, and the photographer tells them to take a break. MC realises she is still sitting on Gavinâs lap:
MC: Gavin, I should⊠be getting up.
Gavin: This is quite nice actually. Or do you not like it?
MC: Itâs not that I donât like it⊠Anyway, why did you suddenly change the pose just now?
Gavin: I felt that you were too tense. So why not transfer some of that burden and stress to me? Itâs just a photoshoot, thereâs no need to worry so much.
MC decides to apply lip balm for Gavin because the lights from the studio are very bright and drying:
I put a little paste on my finger, and carefully rub it on Gavinâs lips.
MC: Donât move.
Gavin freezes, not expecting my action.
His lips feel soft under my touch. Under the light, his moisturised lips have an attractive luster.
At this moment, Gavin is within reach, and all that I see is Gavin. The familiar scent of Gavin and the foreign smell of the gel entwine, making my heart beat faster and faster.
At such a close distance, my fingers can feel each and every single warm breath of his.
Under his amber gaze, his scorching breaths seem to be getting closer and closerâŠ
Unfortunately they get interrupted by the photographer who tells them that the shoot can continue.
After the photoshoot, Gavin leaves for a mission which takes half a month.
In the present, MC receives a call from the photoshoot studio telling her that the photos are ready, so she collects them and goes to Gavinâs house to drop them off.
Gavin coincidentally returns from his mission while she is there, and she decides to tidy the place up while waiting for him to finish bathing. He finishes his bath, decked in the same striped white shirt he wore during the photoshoot. He sees her tidying the place:
Gavin: No need to trouble yourself. I can tidy the place up later.
MC: Itâs no trouble at all. You should rest!
While saying this, I pull Gavin over to the sofa, beckoning him to sit down.
MC: Every time Iâm at your house, you always treat me like a guest. I also want to t-treat this place as⊠asâŠ
Even though I had rehearsed these two lines several times in my head, they end up stuck in my throat at the most important moment.
Gavin understands my expression and smiles, voicing the words I have yet to say.
Gavin: As your home.
MC: Exactly! So thereâs nothing wrong with cleaning and maintaining the hygiene of oneâs own home! If you feel bad about it, then⊠when I call you to help me with window-cleaning in a few days, weâd be even.
Gavin: Sure, Iâll be waiting for your call.
He asks why she decided to drop by, and she explains that the photos from the photoshoot are ready. He comments that he had planned to organise photos from previous shoots too, so they take a trip down memory lane while looking through past photos on Gavinâs bed.Â
Some photos include blurry pictures of MC that Gavin took hastily whenever he spotted MC during missions but couldnât say hello.
Suddenly, MC receives a business call and she leaves the room to deal with it. By the time she comes back, Gavin is asleep:
I quietly sit on the bed, a little angry at how Gavin always tries to be strong.
I canât help but lean over and gently poke Gavinâs face⊠it feels nice.
This light touch seems to turn on a switch within me, and it is as though I am under a spell, addicted to it.
Gavinâs hair is coarser than I imagined, reminiscent of how persevering he is.
The bridge of his nose⊠a bone? No wonder his nose is so pretty.
My touches continue downwards. The second my fingers reach the corner of his lips, my mind brings me back to the scene half a month before when I was helping him apply the lip balm. It was this same softness, the same warm breaths that wrapped themselves around my fingertipsâŠ
I am just about to finish my little prank, but realise that my fingers are gripped onto tightly by Gavin. It is as though I am awakened from a dream, and I take in a shocked breath.
MC: Gavin
Gavin: âŠMm?
Gavin blearily opens an eye before letting out a light yawn. My face flushes in surprise and shame, yet I pretend that nothing had happened.
MC: Y-you⊠When did you wake up?
Gavin: Just. I felt an itch.
MC: I didnât mean to wake you, just that I rarely see you sleeping, so⊠Please continue sleeping! Iâm really not going to bother you anymore!
I think of retracting my hand, but Gavin has no intention of letting go. Instead, he rubs the back of my fingers with his thumb.
Gavin: Itâs not convenient for us to talk like this, letâs change positions.
Before I can agree, Gavin pulls me into his arms, the bed letting out a squeak from the weight.
MC: Shall we continue with the photos?
Gavin: We can do that later.
He hugs me a little tighter, his chin resting on my forehead, and I feel the roughness of his stubble.
MC: ⊠Did you forget to shave?
Gavin: Does it hurt?
MC: NoâŠ. This is good.
And that is the truth. A simple clean home and an easy-going Gavin who doesnât put up walls around me. Being able to enjoy a rare sliver of rest in such a busy world â There is nothing more pleasant than this.
Gavin: When you were taking the call, I looked at the photoshoot pictures. It was a littleâŠ
MC: âA littleâ what? Do you not like it?
Gavin: No, I like it very much. Itâs just that the âyouâ in the photo didnât really seem like you. Your pose was far more assertive than usual.
Just remembering the warmth of the photoshoot causes my entire face to blush.
MC: T-thatâs only because of the photographerâs professional skills, the atmosphere and the lighting! Though I am rather passive in real lifeâŠ
Gavin: You were quite assertive this time round.
MC: Hm?
I look up, not understanding what Gavin means. Gavin looks down at me at the same time. We are so close that our noses are almost touching, and I can see each and every one of Gavinâs eyelashes, and the narrowing of his eyes.
Gavin: When you and Willow were in the pantry discussing how she should play âmatchmakerâ, Minor was standing outside.
MC: So you knew from the start that I would invite you? Minor that little⊠Iâm going to dock his-
Before I can complete my sentence with âpayâ, Gavin seals my lips with a kiss.
His tongue pries open my lips, capturing all my lines of defense.
Gavinâs lips are even warmer than they were when I applied lip balm for him during the photoshoot, and it feels as though I am about to get scalded.
In the midst of the unbearable heat, I let out a whimper which is instantly swallowed by Gavin.
In the quiet bedroom, there are only sounds of our entangled breaths.
The photos we have yet to put away fall around us. These past moments witness this present kiss.
After a long while, Gavinâs voice is at my ear.
Gavin: Apart from photographs, I can give you even more private memories.
Gavinâs breath is as overwhelming as a spiderâs web that leaves one defenseless.
The sound of the blinds being pulled shut is reminiscent of a cameraâs clear shutter.

Please dont put a blame just on Elriels, I know we see what we like, but Gwynriels have bullied a lot of Elriel artists, some artist even took their work down if I remember correctly.
I guess you see other art than I do, but under Elriel art a lot of comments are from Gwynriels how its the wrong ship or other rude comments.
Even under the latest sjm post on instagram, which isnt conected with acotar, there are comments from BOTH Elriels and Gwynriels about the ships...
So both sides are to blame.
I know that I am probably in a nice elriel corner, but I havent seen Gwyn hate, or people saying how they want Gwyn to die (I am sure there are some such people.) But because of the ship war a lot of people want Elain to be dead and the same people love Nesta or Feyre, which is really ridiculous, because they would both be devasted if something happened to Elain.
We probably wont know for sure which ship - if any - will be canon for quite some time, so we just need to learn to leave peacfully with each other.
First, I truly appreciate you in my askbox and not being argumentative. Thank you for that nonnie. It's a breath of fresh air.
You are right. There's negative shippers on both ends. There always will be in every single fandom. The nasty comments will happen. I don't condone that behavior. As I stated in my other post, to my acknowledgment I only knew of one major instant and that is all. I'm sure there are others. Like I said I dont associate with them. I'm sorry to those individuals who've been bullied.
I am also speaking from my view of things since acosf and the Az POV. At first, the Gwynriels were just in this little bubble. The Elriels kept poking. Hell I was a fanon Elriel shipper. The second I announced I couldn't bring myself to ship it even in fanon, I lost followers and a mutual I adored blocked me. I was not controversial at all. Simply stating this I'm leaving the ship behind. I've seen nasty anons sent to friends because they don't ship it. I've had nasty responses from people in replies on various posts for being an elucien and a gwynriel and how blind I am for not seeing Elriel. People being argumentative for absolutely no reason except me expressing thoughts. Combine that with the aggressiveness some of the Elriels have displayed and you see where I'm coming from. There's also the issue that some of the Elriels, don't do this to Gwynriels alone. They attack Eluciens too and have been for some time.
On that note there are some good Elriels out there. I know there is. My post wasn't about them. It was about the problematic ones.
You probably are in a nice corner nonnie and stay that way â€! Trust me I've seen the hate. Some people don't believe she's as nice as she seems. Others who think she's some evil lightsinger. It's certain shippers dragging her down to make Elriel look better. Similar to dragging down Lucien. Both of these red headed babies don't deserve that.
On to Elain, I haven't seen this but I don't doubt it's happening. I know there's some who don't like Elain citing her as boring, she was a bitch in acosf, because she hasn't done anything, whatever the case. Again absolutely right Nonnie! If anything happened to Elain, Nesta and Feyre both would be heartbroken so would Lucien if we're being honest. Do I understand the "she hasn't done anything" argument? Yes. I was hoping she would of have done something in acosf and I was disappointed when she didn't. But Elain doesn't deserve all the hate she gets. SJM is cooking up something big with her and Lucien. She's been more open with everyone but those two and my only conclusion is because they're both major plot points and walking spoilers.
I must disagree on the ships. I think acosf clearly set up the future ships. Once SJM confirms the two MCs for the next book we will know book 5 and possibly book 6 ships.
I'd love it if everyone stayed in their lanes. If the Elriels stuck to Elriel, Gwynriels to Gwynriels. Someone has to always, always add their two cents in and then things spiral. I'm old anon and I've seen this happen hundreds of times. Good thing is in a few months it should die down. It won't stop but it won't be as bad. Trust me, it definitely sucks this whole thing has gotten so bad.
My suggestion to you anon, is to just stay in your happy corner. You will be better off †if you'd like to talk Elain or Gwyn my inbox is open. I'm just not the person to talk positively about Elriel.
#ask#anon#answered#gwynriel#gwyn berdara#gwyneth berdara#Azriel#that other ship#elain archeron#I've been seeing this going down since a couple days before acosf came out#when people got their hands on his pov#certain shippers just started going off on others#and that's where it all spiraled#regardless#the whole thing is a mess#and tiring

Let me be your shield | chapter six (Elriel)
Elain wasnât sure what to expect when she agreed to let Azriel plan her day. She had woken up later that morning and went to breakfast with her sisters. Feyre shared the news that her and Rhys were expecting with them. Nesta didnât look one ounce of shocked, most likely she already knew beforehand. Elain felt happy but a hint of pain from her own past.
After breakfast she sulked home and pulled out the box. It took a lot more energy than Elain expected to reign in the tears, but she managed. When she finally forced herself to put the lid back on and set it back on the shelf she escaped to her bedroom where she took a nap. She slept until Azriel came to pick her up and shook her awake.
âWhatâs going on?â she groaned as she sat up slowly, rubbing at her heavy eyes. Elain was sure there was red puffiness still present, but she could care less. Her bodyguard seemed to want to ask her what was wrong but thought better of it once he looked into her brown eyes, which were darker than normal.
âI guess Iâm cheering you up,â Az said giving her a soft smile before pulling her to her feet. Slowly Elain moved about, getting ready while her bodyguard and friend waited for her downstairs. She had been fine, and she was going to continue to be fine, but all she really wanted was Lucien. Even if he hadnât been the best boyfriend lately he always knew what to do when she felt like this.
When Elain was done making herself look presentable once more she headed downstairs, finding Az sitting at the island and texting someone on his phone. He turned when he heard her sneakers padding against the wood. She had changed into a pair of jeans and a loose and faded brown t-shirt she had stolen from Lucien. Elain had even pulled her hair back, something she only did once in a blue moon.
âYou ready?â Azriel asked, standing up from the bar stool and grabbing his keys. She couldnât even bother to fake a smile as she nodded and followed him out. He turned to lock the door behind them because Elain was already heading down the steps.
âWhere are you taking me?â Elain asked once Azriel was in the driverâs seat and starting the car up. He pulled out of the space in front of her townhouse and onto the street before answering her.
âRight now weâre going to get food then weâll get to the real fun,â he answered but only roused more questions in her, which Elain hated. She liked straight forward answers not ones that led to more questions.
âAre you going to tell me anything else?â she didnât see the harm in asking but Elain had a feeling she already knew the answer.
âNope,â Azriel replied just like she had suspected.
âCan you at least tell me what weâre getting to eat?â Elain groaned hoping he would at least throw her this bread crumb.
âPizza,â she was more than happy with that answer. In Elainâs mind pizza usually meant beer which meant she could drink her sorrows away tonight.
âJust what I was craving,â Azriel looked over at her as she turned to watch the buildings and cars pass out her window. He seemed to know her true intentions but didnât reprimand her for it, probably knowing the sadness he had seen in Elainâs eyes earlier was just the surface of the storm brewing.
The rest of the way to the restaurant Elain didnât speak. Az wanted to say something but how could he when he had no idea what was wrong? This light he had known her to be had been snuffed out by some past darkness. Azriel knew it was an event from her past that was bothering mostly because he had been in her current state of mind himself.
Pulling into the parking lot, Elain jumped out before he could even cut the engine. The moment they were seated in a corner booth and the waitress came by she had ordered her first beer. Az stuck with water, let her be the one to get wasted. He had another feeling that she needed that escape.
âWhat do you like on your pizza?â Azriel asked talking to Elain for the first time it what seemed like hours. He was so used to her constantly talking with him that it felt foregin the whole drive here when she had chosen to remain silent. He hoped to break that now.
âI donât really have a preference,â Elain answered as she took a generous gulp of the beer the waitress had set before her only a moment ago. With that answer he ordered a pepperoni pizza for them to share. Elain was going to need as much food as she could fit into her stomach with the way she was planning on drinking tonight.
âCan you tell me where weâre going now?â Elain asked starting to sound like an impatient child as she finished her beer. Az watched her for a moment feeling as helpless as ever and hating every moment of it.
âNope,â he shook his head before taking a sip of his water. Elain noticed he was looking anywhere but at her. He was upset, she knew that. Azriel wanted to help her with the state she was in, but she couldnât talk about what she had gone through. At least not yet but someday Elain knew she would tell her friend the whole story.
âWhy not,â she whined as their waitress replaced her empty glass with a full one.
âI want it to be a surprise,â Az said simply with a shrug. Elain glared at him, kind of hating him for keeping this so called surprise from her.
âItâs not my birthday or anything so why keep it from me?â
âItâs fun to watch you squirm,â Az leaned his arms on the table so he could get closer to her, a smirk present on his face. It was the first time that night Elain was starting to feel like herself again. Yet instead of playing along with his teasing she leaned back and drank.
The pizza was brought to their table soon after and they gobbled it down, both apparently starving. When every last slice of cheesy goodness was devoured and Elain had topped off her third beer, they headed out. Wherever they were going wasnât far as five minutes later Az had parked the SUV again. They were in front of a bowling alley.
âBowling?â Elain asked as Az jumped out of the vehicle.
âYou look like you need to hit something,â that was all he said as they headed inside and he paid for the lane and shoes. Elain ordered a drink at the bar as he paid at the counter. With a fresh drink in hand she met Azriel at the shoe center before going to claim the balls they needed.their lane was located at the end, it being the only vacated one.
As they headed over Elain took in the decor of the place. There were eight lanes which seemed about average to her. The whole place was covered with neon symbols of bowling balls, pins, and words. It looked like something from the disco age and she loved the atmosphere. The bar was on the far wall by the first lane and that wouldâve made the experience better.
Azriel chose to put the names in, Elain saying she was awful with any form of technology. Her name was âsunshineâ and his was âshadowâ. He thought it would bring a little humor considering their moods today.
âFunny,â Elain said as she went to grab her ball. She lined herself up and Az expected her to be bad but she landed a strike. His eyes were wide in surprise as she walked back to her seat, crossing her legs as she took a drink. âWhat? Did you expect me to be bad?â
âI certainly wasnât expecting competition,â Az said, smirking as he grabbed his own ball and lined up. He landed a strike.
âNot bad,â Elain said giving him a shrug in response to his satisfied smirk. Her blood boiled now, ready for the anticipation of a good game. She had bowled with her sisters and their significant others before, but it was never like this. Feyre always went in the gutter, Cassian was usually only there for the drinks, Nesta was okay, and Rhys was the only decent one. No surprise there.
Elain rolled another strike. So did Azriel. Things were heating up to new levels. She found herself loving every tense moment of it. Then she got a split, a small one and most likely possible for her to knock over, but not entirely easy.
âYou going to make that?â Azriel said smiling smugly as he took a sip of her beer, thinking he won this round.
âDonât drink my beer,â Elain responded taking in from his hands. She swallowed the remaining alcohol in one gulp before turning back to the challenge at hand. She wasnât prepared to lose to him, and she wouldnât. Elain let the ball loose. She watched with bated breath as it made its way down the lane. She jumped in the air when both puns knocked over, doing a victory dance.
âHate to remind you sunshine,â Azriel said into her ear, his breath brushing her ear and sending a shiver down Elainâs spine. âBut the game is far from over.â he rolled another strike. She would have to find a way to make up points for her spare. The task was easier said than done after four beers and the still present shiver from being so close to her bodyguard.
Bodyguard, not boyfriend Elain reminded herself, forced herself to remember. She had a boyfriend that she wanted to strangle for leaving, a boyfriend she wasnât sure she still loved. Picturing her red hair, bright eyes, and narrow jaw she rolled the ball. Strike.
âWhoâd you picture,â Azriel asked as she came to sit. He had noticed the ferocity in her throw of course it being his job and all to notice everything about her. Elain liked that he did.
âYou,â she said as she reached for the fresh glass of alcohol she had requested be brought over. With a sigh Az stood and took his turn. It was his turn to get a spare, in fact it was a split as well but a much bigger gap was between the pins. Elain chuckled into her sip of beer, Az turned to glare at her. He didnât get the second pin like she did. âThat had me taking the lead doesnât it?â
âJust bowl.â She smirked as she stood to take her turn. The game ended with Azrielâs roll and Elain as the victor.
âAnother game?â
âBest out of three.â
Azriel was first up this time and of course he started them off with a strike. Elain noticed they had started to draw a crowd with the last few rounds of their first game, but her bodyguard ignored it. At least it seemed that way but she knew he was on high alert, it was why he hadnât had a drop to drink besides the teasing sip he had taken of her drink.
âI think weâve drawn a crowd,â she commented as she stepped up to take her turn.
âTheyâre probably shocked to see such a small girl attempt to beat me,â Az responded.
âI did beat you.â
âNot this round.â
Elain rolled her eyes before going to roll. He mustâve jinxed her because she got another spare. The rest of the game Az only landed strikes, it was some kind of voodoo Elain thought as they started the third and final game.
âI think we should make a bet,â she said, swaying on her feet slightly from the five beers she had drank that night. She was only tipsy.
âWhat kind of bet?â Azriel asked sounding surprised but intrigued.
âLike the loser has to do something for the winner,â Elain explained. âWe did say best out of three for a reason.â
âAlright what should we bet?â
âHow about if I win you have to build me a shed for my gardening tools.â Azriel chuckled causing Elain to furrow her eyebrows.
âThatâs just as innocent as I expected.â
âWhat do you want something dirty? I have a boyfriend.â
âAnd Iâm your bodyguard.â
âForbidden love.â Azriel chuckled again, this time Elain smiled truly for the first time that night. She would blame it on the beer later.
âWe could.â
âIâll probably forget in the morning.â she wouldnât, they both knew she hadnât drank too much for that. Elain was no light weight. Az had witnessed that recently with her sisters.
âWith that in mind what would you suggest now?â He stepped closer to her, Elainâs breath caught as she stared up into her hazel eyes.
âIf I win,â she stepped closer to him. âI want you to go down on me at the most inappropriate time and place.â Azriel smirked and stepped closer to her. Leaning down he whispered in Elainâs ear again, another shiver.
âIf I win I get to take you against the wall of that shed Iâm building.â Heat pooled at her core and he seemed to register what he was doing to her. Azâs hazel eyes morphed from teasing to utter lust, and Elain wanted him to ravish her.
âI have a boyfriend,â she reminded herself more than him. It needed to be said. Needed to reiterate that this was a joke, nothing would come of this bet.
âI know.â Elain turned to bowl. Azriel won the last game she was so distracted.
___
When they made it back to the townhouse Elain was laughing. She felt lighter on her feet, though that was most likely due to the seven drinks she had. She was drunk, but not too drunk that Azriel was worried about her state of mind.
âYouâre going to fall and hurt yourself,â he said laughing as Elain spun all giddy as if she was wearing a dress fit for a Disney princess. He probably should be more serious than what he currently was but after so much darkness around her Az was happy she was normal again, though in a drunken state of mind. That part didnât matter.
âIâm fine,â Elain said dancing to music that wasnât playing. âDance with me.â
âIâm taking you to bed,â Azriel responded as he grabbed for the outstretched hand she offered him.
âThat sounds better,â Elain giggled as he pulled her into his arms. She smiled so brightly up at him that Azriel felt his walls melting. It wasnât the time for that, sheâs drunk he reminded himself. Picking her up he carried her up the steps, bridal style to avoid any potential harm.
âIâm not your boyfriend Elain.â
âI wish you were,â she mumbled as she snuggled her head into his neck. Azâs blood went suddenly cold at that. He didnât want to think that Lucien had been the cause of her drinking, the man that was supposed to love her unconditionally.
âTrouble in paradise?â he questioned though he knew he shouldnât as he kicked the door to her bedroom open.
âSomething like that,â Elain answered in a very sleepy voice. Azriel pulled the covers back and set her small frame onto the mattress. He bent down onto her knees to help her take off the sneakers she had worn tonight. âI thought you no to bedroom fun.â
âI did, Az found himself unable to not chuckle at this girl before him, this woman he wanted so desperately. âBut Iâm not your boyfriend.â
âThat makes me sad,â Elain said as she unbuttoned her jeans. While she tugged them down her legs Azriel went to find a pair of shorts for her to sleep in. âYouâd be a better boyfriend.â
âIâm sure itâs just a rough patch,â Az said as he handed her the shorts that Elain easily slipped on. âBut I am sorry to hear it.â
âWeâve been in a rough patch for six months and I donât think itâll ever end.â Az wished he could say something to make his friend feel better as she tucked herself into an empty bed.
âGoodnight Elain,â was all he said as he turned to leave but she stopped him.
âAzriel,â she said so quietly he almost didnât hear her. She sounded so sad.
âYes?â
Stay with me.â Elain wasnât asking.
âIâm not sure thatâs such a good idea.â
âI wonât try anything,â Elain paused and hesitated before continuing. âI just want someone here when the nightmares come.â
Azrielâs heart broke. He hated seeing this light of the world so vulnerable and in pain. He hated being so clueless as to what was causing her to feel this way. He wanted to help but Az would never push her to open up if she wasnât ready. So he would suffer along with her.
Elain moved over to let him underneath the covers once his shoes and shirt were on the floor. Azriel was thankful he had decided to wear sweatpants tonight rather than jeans. He laid on his back as she cuddled into her pillow and let her eyes fall shut.
âYou know you can talk to me whenever youâre ready,â Az said.
âSame goes for you,â Elain whispered with her smile before her breathing evened out, she was asleep. Azriel was left awake to fight off the oncoming nightmares, both hers and his.

How hard is it for Lucien to make friends he can trust?
"Trusting anyone too much is just asking to get burned, especially on maximum murder planet, shitty sequel to average murder planet."
"I dunno, I was never great at getting with people even before my current fucked situation, and I can't say it's improved my attitude about other people either."
> He sighs, muffled by the helmet.
"Hopefully the one friend I already had hasn't gotten their goofy-ass killed yet."

Gifted Stafford Ghost TV
As you know I've always had an interest in the Paranormal world and in the past month or so, I've rekindled my love for this world.
Mainly thanks to the serendipitous way I met Mark and Helen.
A little brief history lesson. (I think you can sense a theme occurring here).
I think it was around March 2021 when this lovely shop called "Gifted with Heavenly Helen" opened at 10 Church Lane, Stafford. (I literally live 2 minutes walk away).
Before that it was a beauty salon called "Rejuvanetics"
I'd passed by this shop many, many times. Partly curious and partly "afraid" to go inside as by nature since a road accident in 1993 (I won't go into details here) I've become introverted, so find it difficult to speak to people I've never met before, or given the right circumstances I open up to straight away.
I was on a couple of weeks break from work. I was mooching around online as I usually do and I cannot remember the exact details, I happened across a video or something, and I recognised the shop in the video.
Then one thing lead to another around Mid August, I ended up tuning into one of their all night investigations.
I knew straight away I had to get to know Mark and Helen. So a couple of more weeks passed and an opportunity arose to join a group vigil at the shop. I jumped at the chance.
Of course at this point Mark and Helen must've thought who this new person was jumping up and down online saying "me, me, me I want to be involved."
I got to know them briefly mainly through their facebook and youtube channels.
So fast forward to this video:
As they say the rest is history.
Hand on heart I have to say Mark and Helen are the loveliest couple I've ever met. I'd love to think we hit it off straight away.
I feel a long term friendship is in the making here and I'd like to thank them for indirectly rekindling my love for the paranormal world.
You can them on social media:
Youtube:
Facebook:
Instagram:

Go and give them a follow and tune in every night (Tues - Sat) for a live investigation from 6pm on their Gifted Ghost TV youtube channel and don't forget to subscribe.

As someone else pointed out, The Satanic Temple is also somewhat different than popularly described since both Joe Laycock's book "Speak of the Devil" and the Penny Lane film "Hail Satan?" look at the period just before most of the large, socially progressive and active chapters broke away in 2018.
This "Great Schism" is described within TST by those who remained as "The Shittening".
Nothing was addressed, the Temple just sent a lot of legal threats to people and nabbed or otherwise shut down related social media accounts to keep them quiet.
Even Jex Blackmore, up to that point probably the most famous person in TST, was almost completely quiet about the Temple from Blackmore's 2018 Medium article "The Struggle for Justice Is Ongoing" and a tweet last year in response to the Temple brazenly fundraising off of the Texas abortion bounty bill going into effect.
We're still working on getting additional confirmation of this person's experience, but it does track with what a lot of other people went through.
But yeah, The Satanic Temple is structured to be exactly this way, and it is not capable of reforming because it's working as intended to funnel resources and money upward with absolutely no real accountability or transparency mechanisms flowing back down.
A TikToker spent two minutes talking about why The Satanic Temple canât help you get an abortion and doesnât deserve your support.
TST threatened to sue her.
But when it comes to The Satanic Temple, thereâs always more and itâs always worse.

Can I request KC + any cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie. Any of them.
Thank you!!! Awesomeprompt. For some reason itâs not so mini, so sorry for the delay. Okay, Iâll admit that I took some liberties, I mean there are way toomany to choose from so this is a different spin. I think I kind of morphed intoa Hallmark movie writer with all this cheese and fluff, hope you still like it!
Not Another Hallmark Movie
âIâve worked with animalsthat are better behaved and trained than you, Mikaelson,â she hissed.Â
âOnly because they canâttalk. If they could Iâm sure theyâd have some pretty choice things to sayabout such a Princess, Forbes,â he shot back.Â
âCut!âÂ
âYou are such anâŠâ
âWell, youâre no picnicyourself sweetheart.â
âI said Cut!â TheirDirector, Enzo St John, growled. âYou donât get creative license, children. This is a bloody Hallmark movie and you will do it as I say. So, justfor your information, the lines actually were, I love you Jacob. I think Ialways have but Iâve been hurt before and Christmas is such a difficult timefor me after losing my father.â
âAnd then Jacob says,âBonnie Bennet, their long suffering producer, added through grittedteeth. âI would never hurt you Grace and if you let me in, let me love youthen I can prove that to you everyday of our lives.â
âI much prefer my line,âKlaus shrugged his shoulders, unmoved by their terse interruptions.Â
âAs I do mine,â Carolineagreed, arms crossed over her chest. Agreeing was something the two actorsnever did, just ask the rest of the cast and crew. Theyâd been bickering eversince their first day on set and things didnât seem to beimproving. Â
âHow about we take abreak,â Enzo sighed. âWeâll pick up in twenty minutes and maybe you twocan learn your bloody lines.â The crew scurried away, no doubt to enjoy somedowntime from all the drama.Â
Klaus made his way to hisdressing room, slamming the door shut in the process. Who was Enzo St John totell him what to do and how to do it? He remembered the second worse decisionheâd ever made so clearly. If he could have blamed it on alcohol he would havebut this was all her doing. Â Â Â
âHallmark? Ah, no Lucien.â
âYou didnât even let mefinishâŠâ
âBecause you used the Hword,â he muttered. âI thought we spoke about having that networkexorcised from any future contracts.â
âYou need this role Klaus,if anything just to get you back on your feet,â he pleaded. âThe roleshave dried up sinceâŠâ
âI donât need you to tellme that,â he growled, finally stopping his pacing. âBut there must besomething else, something on HBO? I saw theyâd green lit a pilotabout the Clash.â
âThe Joe Strummer role hasalready been cast.â
âOh donât tell me, itâsthat talentless idiot, Tyler Lockwood?â
âNo, itâsâŠâ
âWell, donât keep mehanging, Lucien. You know, Iâm a big boy, I can handle the truth.â
âStefan Slavatore,â hemumbled, his brown eyes now firmly focused on the floor. Â
âThe brooding, James Deanwannabe? Heâs not even English and is definitely more boy band than punk. Anddonât even get me started on his obsession with his hair. Could that guy ownany more hair products?â
âThatâs probably why hehas that lucrative endorsement deal with Lâoreal.â
âI bet his mother is soproud,â he groaned. âWhy do talentless and undeserving losers like thatget the good roles?â
âYouâve been out of thegame for a bit, people tend to move on after you pass on roles,â he offered, albeit weakly. âYou experienced a monumental loss and itâs understandablethat you needed some time out butâŠâ
âYouâre even starting tosound like a bloody Hallmark movie now.â
âItâs your only chance totry to resurrect your career Klaus, trust me on this.â Klaus was silent, thinking about his options.Â
Not that Klaus liked toadmit it readily but Lucien was right. But was his career more importantthan his pride? Klaus knew the answer and prepared his response carefully. Hallmarkand their latest Christmas cheese-fest could go fuck themselves. âThe female part is being played by Caroline Forbes. Sheâs a verytalented and versatile actress. Actually grew up in the same town as you, Imean what a coincidence.â
That Klaus wasnâtexpecting and he felt his chest constrict and an immediate craving to be closerto her again, if so just to try and make things right. âFine, Iâll do it.â Â
It seemed as if Klaus hadcome full circle his worst ever mistake crashing into his second worst. She was just as flawless as he remembered when they met for rehearsals amonth earlier. Even with that scowl plastered firmly on her face, Klaus didnâtthink heâd seen anyone so beautiful. Even her latest insults couldnât deter hisadmiration. If Klaus could do things differently, he would have.
âNow, that would have tobe your best tantrum by far.â
âIf I wanted an audience, little sister, I would have chosen one a lot less sarcastic and hostile.â
âYouâre not going to findone, Klaus,â she insisted. âEspecially if you keep acting out this way. Noone will ever hire you again.â
âAlways the publicist,â hedrawled, rolling his eyes for extra effect. âDid you ever think that maybeI donât care?â
âAnd what about Caroline?âHis eyes flew to hers, Rebekah always had a tendency to push his buttons andtoday was no exception. Caroline had pursued a modelling career but hadrecently excelled in a few cameo roles. âThis is her first leading movie role,do you want to ruin it with such childish behaviour?â
âIâm pretty sure Hallmarkwill do that all on its own,â he joked. âLook, I realise Caroline is oneof your clients but that doesnât mean you can use our sibling status to guilttrip me into staying. Iâm sure that they can recast me with some bland, kendoll type. Maybe the gods are smiling on us and Stefan Salvatore is actuallyfree?â
âNo one has chemistry likeyou and Caroline, trust me weâve all seen it.â
âThat was a long timeago.â
âReally? Because from thatforeplay I just saw out there, your connection is stronger thanever.âÂ
Klaus knew it too, notthat he was willing to admit it aloud and to his sister and publicist of allpeople. He loved her, Klaus had never stopped. Suddenly he felt like heâdstepped into some weird, Hallmark vortex.Â
âYes, those insults werereally romantic.â
âI know you miss her, weall doâ she implored, her hands finding his. Klaus knew they werenât talkingabout Caroline anymore. âBut thatâs no reason to throw away your career orCaroline in the process.â
Klaus knew she was right, hedidnât speak, just squeezed her hands affectionately before making his waytowards her dressing room purposefully.
âIf youâre here for roundtwo, Iâm not interested,â Caroline scoffed before he could get a word in. Shewas seated at her dressing table and regarding him suspiciously in thereflection of the mirror.Â
âI donât know,â he smiled, thinking just how much heâd missed their lively banter. âI thought weâdclocked up at least twenty rounds by now.âÂ
âAnd to be honest, Iâmtired of it,â she sighed, closing those blue eyes momentarily. Klaus knewexactly what she was doing.Â
After making love theyâdlie naked together in the moonlit filled room, their limbs entwined and Klauswould recite all the reasons he loved her. Her creamy skin, her golden waves, her melodic laugh and ability to render him completely useless were frequentmentions but his favourite, heâd say, were her eyes. They were the windows toher soul, heâd say, and Klaus used to murmur that as long as she kept her eyesopen everything would be okay.
âOpen your eyes, love,â hemurmured, making his way towards her dressing table and running a hand alongher cheek slowly.Â
âYou donât deserve that,âshe whispered, a single tear making its way down her cheek. âYou donâtdeserve me.â
âI donât,â heagreed. âI lost that right afterâŠâ Her eyes flew open as she pushed awayhis hand.
âAfter you walked out onme,â she sobbed, standing shakily and increasing the distance between them. Shewas wearing a thin dressing gown and Klaus could make out the lace accents ofher underwear and the way they strained against the swell of herbreast. Â
âI didnât want to hurtyou..â
âYet you did exactly that! How long have we known each other Klaus? Twenty years now? We climbed treestogether when we were eight. You took me to my prom senior year and cheered meon at my college graduation. God, we dated for three years but even after wemoved our separate ways for career opportunities we were still close. You wouldcall me whenever Lord of the Rings was on TV because you knew I hated itand recited the dialogue verbatim, then youâd berate the latest tabloid storiesabout my love life because you were the only guy that was worthy of my timeapparently. I can recall so many conversations, so many life events with you presentand that was the thanks I got for being such a loyal friend?â
âI wasnât in the righthead space that night Caroline, my mother had just died,â he explained. âIwas spiralling out of control and had been drinking.â
âI wanted to be there foryou the night of her funeral, to support you in your time of need.â
âAnd I took advantage ofthat,â he murmured, remembering it like it was yesterday.Â
Heâd woken, unsure of hissurroundings at first but then he felt her against his chest. He would neverforget the rhythmic and even sound of her breathing or the fact the thesunlight spilling into the room was highlighting the golden flecks in her hair. She looked like an angel.
He left hurriedly, throwing on his clothes and racing from the hotel room. Klaus knew it wascowardly but having to face her and explain the previous night and hisscrambled emotions was too much after burying his mother yesterday.Â
As the months passed,Klaus began to miss her name on his caller ID and almost hit the call button amillion times, if only just to hear the sound of her melodic laugh telling himhe was an idiot. But he never called and it was the biggest regret afterleaving her that morning without a goodbye.Â
âIâd rather not revisitmemory lane,â she said, breaking Klaus from his dream-like trance. âBut Iam curious, why are you doing this film? I mean you break out inhives when you even hear the word Hallmark.â
âIt was all for you,love.â
âOh, if thatâs a line, Iâmso not interested in hearing anything more MikaelsonâŠâ
âItâs not,â he persisted, making his way towards her and placing his hands on her shoulders gently.Â
Her blue eyes were widenow and Klaus could see that the anger and hostility heâd seen for weeks hadsince been replaced by curiosity and that raw vulnerability he loved so much.He knew there was a brief window, If only he could just explain himselfarticulately. Her vanilla scent was putting him off somewhat, so too her closeproximity. âI needed to be here, I needed to make things right after Iroyally stuffed them up.â
âThatâs certainly anunderstatement,â she growled.Â
âI was scared,â headmitted, fastening a lock of hair behind her ear. âWhen Esther passed away sosuddenly it knocked me around so much. She was the most important and biggestpresence in my life. That morning when I woke up and saw you lying next to me Iwas so frightened it hurt. The thought of ever losing you, like her, was toomuch to comprehend in my emotional state.â She was silent for a momentobviously processing what he was saying.Â
âBut you walked out onme.â
âI figured that if youwerenât in my life I couldnât lose you. I know itâs not an excuse but you arethe only woman Iâve ever loved and even if you werenât in my life I could stillwatch you from afar and it would be okay.â
âBut yet you show up onthe set of a Hallmark movie.â
âObviously that poorlythought rationale didnât last too long. I was desperate, I wanted you backeven if it was a long shot.â She cocked her left eyebrow curiously, a slightsmile tugging at her lips.Â
âDo I have this right? You signed up for a Hallmark movie for me?âÂ
âDesperate times and allthat,â he smirked. âPlease tell me my efforts havenât been completelywasted?â
âIâll tell you whatâs beencompletely wasted,â she said, her hands finding their way to his hips andpulling him closer. âYour talents.â
âHuh?â
âYour talents are wastedin this kind of film and we both know it,â she mused. âSo, what I want youto do is march out there and tell Enzo youâre quitting.â Obviously she didnâtwant to see him again but Klaus couldnât blame her.Â
âDo you really hate me thatmuch?âÂ
âI donât unfortunately,âshe teased. âYou need to snap out of this funk. Esther wouldnât want this for you and we both know it. You need to get back tothe roles that made you who you are and you need to stop stalking me too.As much as I appreciate the explanation, you are sounding more like a Hallmarkmovie everyday and I canât have that.â
âWhat roles? There are none.â
âI heard about the ClashHBO series, that would be a good start.â
âApparentlyStefan Salvatore has already been cast,â he groaned, hating the fact he even had to say his name aloud.Â
âI wouldnât be so sure,Mikaelson,â she grinned knowingly. âYou just need to have a little faithin yourself and your craft.â
âSo, if I do all of that,do you think thereâs any chance you might ever forgive me for beingâŠâ
âThe biggest ass in theworld? Iâll think about it,â she smiled, placing a chaste kiss on his nose.Klaus melted into her embrace, not wanting to let go but also glad sheâd heardhim out and was willing to consider a future, whatever that might be.Â
âSo, before I go and annoyEnzo, Rebekah and my manager I have one question myself.â She didnât respondjust raised her eyebrows in preparation. âWhy did you take this role? Imean itâs not really your thing either.â
âI already have amodelling career, acting is a hobby right now, but it doesnât hurt that thereâsat least a dozen scripts sitting there for my perusal.âÂ
Klaus looked over at the table, noticing the large volumes of paper for the first time. From this distance he could seethe title Oceans Eight on one of them. He wasnât sureif it was related to the Soderbergh box office hits but if it was CarolineForbes was going to be a big star.Â
âAnd Iâll be therewatching your career unfold from afar, love.â He was gone before she couldrespond. His spirits buoyed and his heart open for the first time in over a year, telling him theyâd meet again some day.
So, their ending wasnât aHallmark one, well not that day anyway. Fast forward two years and Klaus wasstarring in the latest Scorcese film, Caroline in Spielberg.Â
âSo, where can a girl geta drink around here?â Heâd know that melodic voice anywhere, his crimson lips curving into a smile.
âI might be able to help you with that.â She sat at the neighbouring barstool her leg grazing his briefly and causing all the familiar feelings to resurface. He said heâd wait and Klaus was hoping she was finally collecting.Â
âWhich is exactly why I came to see you,â she smiled. âWe have a lot to talk about, Mikaelson.â
Turns out they did. Exactly three months later the two childhood best friends were married and happened to live happily ever after, just like in fairytale or a really cheesy Hallmark movie. Â

Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey by Amy Jaques Garvey 1923 Chapter 3 The Image of God
If the white man has the idea of a white God, let him worship his God as he desires. If the yellow manâs God is of his race let him worship his God as he sees fit. We, as Negroes, have found a new ideal. Whilst our God has no color, yet it is human to see everything through oneâs own spectacles, and since the white people have seen their God through white spectacles, we have only now started out (late though it be) to see our God through our own spectacles. The God of Isaac and the God of Jacob let Him exist for the race that believes in the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. We Negroes believe in the God of Ethiopia, the everlasting God â God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, the One God of all ages. That is the God in whom we believe, but we shall worship Him through the spectacles of Ethiopia.Â

Fellow Men of the Negro Race, Greeting:
The time has come for the Negro to forget and cast behind him his hero worship and adoration of other races, and to start out immediately, to create and emulate heroes of his own.
We must canonize our own saints, create our own martyrs, and elevate to positions of fame and honor black men and women who have made their distinct contributions to our racial history. Sojourner Truth is worthy of the place of sainthood alongside of Joan of Arc; Crispus Attucks and George William Gordon are entitled to the halo of martyrdom with no less glory than that of the martyrs of any other race. Toussaint L'Ouvertureâs brilliancy as a soldier and statesman outshone that of a Cromwell, Napoleon and Washington; hence, he is entitled to the highest place as a hero among men. Africa has produced countless numbers of men and women, in war and in peace, whose lustre and bravery outshine that of any other people. Then why not see good and perfection in ourselves?

THE SATANIC TEMPLEÂ HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED AS A CHURCH
THE SATANIC TEMPLE, ONE OF THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL RELIGIOUS MOVEMENTS IN AMERICAN HISTORY, HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED AS A CHURCH
It was announced today that The Satanic Temple, the focus of filmmaker Penny Laneâs (Nuts!, Our Nixon)critically-acclaimed documentary HAIL SATAN?, has been officially recognized as a church by the IRS, setting a historical precedent. Since the inception of the United States, no satanic religious organization has ever been recognized as a church. This distinction, in addition to qualifying TheSatanic Temple for tax exemption, will help profoundly with their efforts to demand all of the privileges enjoyed by other religious organizations. This includes: assuring that The Satanic Temple has the same access to public spaces as other religious organizations; affirming its standing in court when battling religious discrimination and enabling The Satanic Temple to apply for faith-based government grants.
In HAIL SATAN?, now in theaters, media-savvy members of The Satanic Temple organize a series of public actions designed to advocate for religious freedom and challenge corrupt authority, proving that with little more than a clever idea, a mischievous sense of humor, and a few rebellious friends, you can speak truth to power in some truly profound ways. As charming and funny as it is thought-provoking, HAIL SATAN? offers a timely look at a group of often misunderstood outsiders whose unwavering commitment to social and political justice has empowered thousands of people around the world.
"In light of theocratic assaults upon the Separation of Church and State in the legislative efforts to establish a codified place of privilege for one religious viewpoint, we feel that accepting religious tax-exemption -- rather than renouncing it in protest -- can help us to better assert our claims to equal access and exemption while laying to rest any suspicion that we don't meet the qualifications of a true religious organization,â said SatanicTemple co-founder Lucien Greaves. âSatanism is here to stay."Â

Hi Did you finish acowar if you did how did you like it
hey maryam!!! i love your new url btwÂ
I have in fact finished it.
How I liked it?Â
short answer: both good and bad, tho the bad far outweighed the goodlong answer:
a list of things completely unrelated to the other ships/spin offs that we should have been given but werenât:
explanation of morâs powers?? we still donât know whatâs happening there??
more explanation of wtf amren was?? it was explained retroactively that she was an old testament angel of death by someone who attended one of her events but like. that should have been explained in the text. (also i know iâll get shit for this but like. religious fantasy is fine i just want it kept tf away from me, if i knew this series would have its (multiple) religious references i wouldnât have read it)
explanation of nestaâs powers??? you could leave what sheâs left w after the cauldron was broken adn remade for a spinoff but we deserved to know what she could do DURING it
fucking wall sex listen we were promised it why did we not get it
abuse and survivor narratives being treated w the utmost respect (see: the shit rhys pulled in the court of nightmares. he could have DONE IT, but he should have at least TOLD mor beforehand so she could prepare herself. same thing w offering up morâs safe space to her abusers; lucienâs abuse trauma never being discussed??? like he had both feyre AND rhys there???? i???? a conversation between him and rhys (and maybe feyre but) would have been SO POWERFUL and??? instead you let him suffer for a book?? and you know what?? even throwing something in while feyre and lucien are traveling, like a quick thing would have been possible?? fuck man)
emotional impact/payoff
drama??? one of the best parts of acomaf was all the Dramaâą and it didnât exist in this book i?? why did it leave
quality writing
quality characterization
quality character arcs
QUALITY WRITING
things iâm glad we were given
the new high lords!!
diversity!! (i canât really speak for the characters of color bc thatâs not my lane, tho i didnât see anything bad except for one time when sjm refers to miryam as having honey colored skin, but on the queer characters side, there are both good and bad things that i will discuss in another post)
squad moments!!!
more characterization of azriel which i am very happy for
amren/nesta relationship
the archerons becoming part of the squad/their various relationships with everyone
velaris being opened to everyone
rhys taking off his and his courtsâ masks to everyone (tho that likeâŠâŠ. didnât have any impact??? like i think someone else posted earlier, like the high lords didnât even seem to think it was like something of interest that rhys suddenly had wings??? for the first time ever??? i?? wtf)
papa archeron coming back (tho his death was lame)
bryaxis
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ.
so yeah. cons outweigh the pros for me unfortunately. i feel betrayed by the trust i put in her as a writer. i hope that the spinoffs are better, or this proves to be some elaborate joke and they release the actual book soon. bc iâm not gonna waste my time and my money on bad writing.Â
#acowar#acowar spoilers#acotar#this-bookish-soul#honestly i am v fond of your new url#i'm sorry i hope i didn't just launch you all into the sadness pit w me#but i've been here for a while and i can't see it getting better lo#*lol#i feel like i should reread it#but it's like when u bullshit an essay#and don't proofread it#bc u know that proofreading it will remind u what bullshit it is#and will make u sadder#that's how i feel right now#anna answers
