Post-series Uzi!!! U KNOW I had to give her a cool Wormy Eldritch form and slight fit change to her usual appearance.

Uzi is still a massively edgy dork but now she's kinda unstoppable with the AS under her control. She needs a ridiculously unattainable goal to focus on so might as well work on engineering more sick-ass weapons (JUST IN CASE, SHES PARANOID AF) and contraptions to help make the surface world hospitable to Dronekind again now that DDs aren't munching on 'em for midnight snackies. They all still need to drink oil, but who knew saving the planet would make ppl want to donate a quart or two?

Outpost-3 ain't the only colony and it might take a while to both find and convince all the others that it's safe on the surface again.

Also thinking about all those DD cores Alice had kept in jars in that oven- maybe she'd see what she could do to get them in bodies too after successfully exporting Cyn?

highlights of violent peeta moments/kills since y'all seem to think being physically violent makes you worthy of being a victor:

He kills the girl from District 8

He's allied with the careers and took a beating at the cornucopia, leading me to believe some of those 11 kills at the cornucopia were his too.

The career alliance was developed DURING the game according to Haymitch, meaning he likely had to prove himself at the cornucopia or die, ergo he likely did kill quite a few people.

He's handy with a knife- even by career standards

He was going to kill again to defend Katniss and only lowered his spear when he saw it was her after the tracker jacker scene

He fends off Cato after getting stung FOUR times by tracker jackers (more than katniss was), takes a sword to the thigh, right next to a major artery, and STILL manages to outrun Cato, camouflage himself and hide.

He kills Foxface (which wasn't violent per se, but this adds to his list. It’s the same way Lucy Gray kills: poison. Rat poison, snakes, berries. It all goes down the same.)

Peeta wrestles Cato on top of the cornucopia with a freshly slashed leg and still manages to end up in only a headlock

It's Peeta's idea to shoot Cato's hand, which he marks with a "X" in his own blood

He volunteers, you know, like a career in the 75th games

He helps to fend off the horde of monkeys with the knife he's skilled with, close range combat vs. long range of katniss's arrows

Peeta kills Brutus, one of the favorites to win the 75th games, likely while trying to defend Chaff (Wonder if this was for Haymitch's sake?)

He launches a man trying to pin him to the ground down the block with just his legs, including the prosthetic at this point.

A Change of Perspective

I was not expecting so much attention on my latest Flatland artwork, as I´m writting my biggest post so far it´s about to hit 400 notes.

Thank you to everyone for sharing my artwork, following me and thanks to everybody leaving comments on them, I truly appreciate what you have to say about my work!

So, I wanted to write a little about my personal relationship with this novel. Although small, it did help me create a point of reference for my growth over these years.

I knew about this novel since 2016, after the 2016 Bill Q&A mentions Edwin A. Abott. Of course my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to figure out this world. I ended up falling on a 4th dimension theory and Mathematics rabbit hole.

Since a lot of conversations surrounding the book where around theories on the 4th dimension, rather than giving political comentary on the book. As it´s rediscovery was made in the year 1920´s, one could imagine why that was the case. For the most part, due to Einstein´s main interest being how Edwin A. was able to somehow predict the 4th dimension´s existence.

Thanks to this, I didn´t take Flatland´s themes into consideration, and just read a few chapters out of order.

July 2024, The Book of Bill releases. Once again, there´s a reference to the novel in one of the pages. And for old times sake I decided to revisit Flatland. Curiously it´s when I got recommended the 2007 Flatland movie to no end, I eventually, after a long weekend of College work, decided to watch it as I animated.

After that, I decided this time I would finally give myself the time to finish the novel. With an older and more open mind I was able to finish the book and understand it´s themes; critiquing bigotry and seeing the world through a whole new perspective. Makes me wish little me finished the book instead of taking its message for granted, could’ve helped get over some mayor denial I had back then.

I believe things happen a certain way for a reason, maybe it was for the better that I didn’t finish that book back then, at least it gave me the opportunity to better appreciate it :^]c

I hope this community keeps on growing. And I hope to see more people create more content for this interesting world!
