haven't talked about my girlfriend in a while so i'll tell you people that for better or worse, she truly is the sleepiest girl in the world. tells me she wants to put a movie on for her to watch and for me to have as background noise while i study, and two minutes later i'm turning the movie off because she's asleep. tells me all day about this game they want to play with me when i get home from work, falls asleep before we make it through the game's tutorial stage. i could be at work and receive an urgent text from her, only for her to leave me on delivered for hours and it's when i get home that i realize she's fine and that she just sent me the text and then fell asleep. she'll be telling me about the latest drama in their friend group and her voice just gets quieter and the pauses between sentences get wider and wider... until she's effectively talked herself to sleep. they tell me "i'm going to pull an all nighter for this assignment tonight! wake me up from this nap in an hour." and will not wake up until the next day, no matter what i do. we could be doing pillow talk and she'll tell me "i'm feeling eepy" in place of saying good night to me, and will just fall asleep instantly. she's so damn sleepy all the fucking time. i love her so much.
#₊˚ପ⊹ soliloquy .ᐟ#༝˚૮ .♡ my honey.#i have actually#worried quite a bit about her energy levels#been encouraging her to increase her sugar intake#and also to have more greens and fruits in general#because i suspect she might be low on iron or blood sugar#she says i stress over her too much 😒 but#to me. as her girlfriend it's partially my responsibility to make sure she's fine yk? and i love taking care of her too#they're my baby <333 my precious angel#i just love her so very much#💓💓💓

Hello disabled lovelies!! We have a question for all of you who deal with chronic dehydration (for whatever reason): what products/brands do you recommend for water-soluble electrolyte mixtures?
We’d be interested in knowing:
-> which ones you find work best
-> which ones are most worth the cost
-> which flavour(s) are your favourite
-> whether you recommend liquid or powder sachets
-> which types/flavours/brands you do not recommend!
—
Thank you in advance! 🙂↕️.
(We ask because we aren’t managing to stay hydrated and are back to pouring salt into our water- and that still isn’t making it much better. So we think we will finally have to invest in electrolyte sachets 🥹. The only ones we’ve really seen are “liquid iv” and they seem so expensive, but we will have to suck it up if there’s nothing better. If you have any advice on other ways to help manage dehydration issues feel free to let us know! It is welcome 🫰.)
#actually disabled#disability#disabled#complex disability#mhsn disability#disabilties#physical disability#physically disabled#dehydration#chronic dehydration#chronic illness#chronically ill#disability tips#we have a lot of stuff going on that makes this an issue for context#medication + hormone imbalances + heightened cholesterol because of that + our digestive system is fucked up + we struggle to drink enough#trying to correct the hormone imbalances on our own as we don’t get our next review until December#drinking more oat milk & smoothies for cholesterol (the ‘bad’ cholesterol is highest so trying to balance it)#can’t do shit about the meds because need those to function#our sugar levels are fine but we don’t know about any vitamins other than vitamin D#on supplements for vitamin D but it’s still too low after a year and a half so??#TLDR we are trying our best but we feel awful 24/7 anyways so 🧎

sneepy cozy....
#cats#(medical stuff mention for tags)#poasting confortable image of boye for peace and serenity and such forthe#I have little weird episodes sometimes where I get shaky (but like violently like 'would spill a drink if you were holding it beacuse#your hands are moving so much' type shaky) and weird and sick feeling but usually it passes in an hour or less. but last night I just#literally couldnt sleep I was shaking so much and my heartrate was up a ton and wouldn't go down even after like 6 hours plus super nausea#so I went to the hospital and now shall wear a heart monitor for a week. which hopefully it's just some weird drastic low blood sugar#event or something and there's nothing actually going on. ekg + ct scan for blod clots + virus panel + almost all of the blood work seems#normal so... aa.......#Though me being so privacy focused hrggh... I basically have a constantly bluetooth connected device around me#since the monitor comes with a cell phone that is constantly transmitting data to the place. which they said they'll call you#if they see anything weird which is also scary. random phone calls... but definitely better than letting an issue go unadressed lol#the phone is also not meant to be more than 10 feet away from the monitor at any time so I put on this old tactical fishing#vest thing thats like navy green with 100 pockets and im just using one of the giant pocketson the side as a phone holder#my enormous silly vest just to keep one little phone#ANYWAY... because I got up early the morning before and didn't sleep at all and spent nearly all day in waiting rooms and such#I have been awake for like 32 hours striaght. which I'm sure also does not help with an elevated heartrate lol#feeling shrimp emotions or whatever people talk about unlocking at a certain level of stress and sleep deprivation#and also no food or water. after a while they brought me like 3 saltines and some ice water but I basically also haven't eaten since 3am#last night and it's 2pm now..#thus............ bapy............. baby boye....... he will help ease all ailments with his baby powers...#And no I dont drink energy drinks or anything with caffiene really I'm afraid of all substances on the planet essentially#My body just likes to become shaky and weird randomly even when I'm not conciously anxious about anything/have had no caffiene/etc#and I guess I'm always more nervous about getting anything heart related checked out because of my arm/shoulder/chest area injury stuff#... i literally have constant chest pain all the time. it moves around but i nearly always have some sort of pain or pressure in my chest#so when people are like 'oh well a little weird heartrate is fine but watch out if you have pain!' it's like... i always do lol.. how am I#supposed to tell the Bad Pain apart from the Always Pain when the descriptions of Bad Pain are very very similar#AAAANYway.... hrghh... i wanted to be very productive and finally post drafts and wrok on things today. but alas..#I can at least post small image of soft boye.. though he recently got into stuff in the bathroom whilst left#alone and knocked things into the toilet.. So perhaps not an innocent and NICE boy.. but still.. a soft one .. beautfile....

Reminder that if you're having a weird headache, having a small snack, drinking a glass of water and opening a window might help (or at least probably doesn't hurt)
#dehydration and low blood sugar both cause headaches and fatigue. so does high CO2 levels.#...I've been having a headache all afternoon and it's suddenly disappeared after I ate a snack opened a window and drank some water

let's play "is this symptom caused by chronic illness #1, chronic illness #2, chronic illness #3, depression, anxiety, autistic overstimulation, or just plain old stress?"
i rarely am able to figure out the answer.

no it's not gonna give you proper dangerous withdrawals but you can get physically addicted to thc if you are using it often enough and anyone who tells you otherwise is either misinformed or does not have your best interests at heart.
#like no it's nothing like heroin or alcohol or oxy or any of that shit that can kill you if you withdraw improperly#but kids i have been smoking way too much weed daily for years and if i run out for more than a day or two i can't eat for like a week#or until i get another dose whichever one comes first#because going from near-constant thc daily to none makes you so so nauseous and disinterested in eating#like when i run out it is A Problem#i will be sobbing over everything and falling down every 20 minutes because I've been running on uninterrupted ketosis for 3 days#and i still can't stomach anything but broth and maybe a bit of dry bread#it's not the end of the world and god knows i am no stranger to having blood sugar levels like that#but it sucks and it means that i have to keep buying weed whenever i run out if i want to avoid being half incapacitated for 1-2 weeks 🤷#Its not destroying my life or anything it's pretty low down on the list of Issues I Have#i just wish it's something that id have known could happen before it was already happening the first time
