Just had to explain to my virtual assistant what Ao3 was and why I needed her to create an account so she could send someone a message for me.
What is my life.
Also, please don't tag authors in fanfic of their work, even as a gift.
I luckily didn't see the whole email before I realized what'd happened and hit the back button, but even reading the summary could've forced me to throw out years worth of work if it'd been similar enough to anything I'd been planning to publish.
And nobody wants that.

ok so the thing is, the kiss really was the best way crowley knew to convey his feelings to aziraphale because nina and maggie were right, they do talk but they never say what they mean.
but that doesn’t mean they don’t understand each other, at least to a certain extent.
and crowley knows aziraphale
he knows that he loves books and plays and the stories made by humanity. he watches his angel learn magic the human way and finds out he learned french the human way and knows better than anyone how much he loves human food. he throws a ball to get nina and maggie together because that’s what the humans in jane austen novels would do.
crowley knows that aziraphale romanticizes humanity, loves the drama and the stories and every little thing that makes humans human.
and what could be more human than a desperate kiss asking someone to stay

For @topgunalternateuniverse bingo. Bingo Square - Bodyguard: Hangster - Bodyguard Jake x Popstar Bradley.
"So is there anything you can't do?" Bradley asks, shifting in his seat and watches as Jake expertly begins to start the pre-flight checks. "Expert pilot, chef, dog walker, bodyguard, pillow. I mean, we haven't come up against something that you didn't excel at."
Pausing, Jake turns to blink at Bradley, head tilting to the side as he looks at the other man before giving a small shrug. "Lots of things, Mr. Bradshaw. Ain't no one can be perfect all the time."
Bradley hums, rolling his eyes, "Okay, so the only thing you're bad at is calling me by name, instead of Mr. Bradshaw all the time. That's my dad, man, not me." It isn't quite whining—even if his mom would classify it as such, were she here to hear Bradley's rather petulant tone.

Idk who needs to hear this, but please make meme edits of/ with your OCs.
Create your own versions of those threads that have funny text messages or twitter posts with characters edited onto them. You don’t have to post this anywhere, just keep it for yourself to laugh at because you think they’re funny and you can yell “that’s so true and accurate!”
Sometimes you just have to be your own fandom.

I'm surprised you haven't posted any Welcome home stuff recently! Honestly kinda makes me sad since I love your WH art and stuff
yea y'all are gonna have to be Patient w/ me bc
a) i have like. a week left to pack all of my stuff before i need to shove everything into a uhaul and leave, so its crunch time! leaving little to no energy/interest in anything else
b) to be honest my mental health is the worst its been in years - which is fine, its whatever, i can deal. it's not as bad as it could be and im handling it! like a champ, even! but also its leaving little to no energy/interest in anything else
c) had a minor crisis over my art and how i interact w/ WH, and i realized im not scribbling enough of what I want. ive mostly been trying to please people and do as asked and thats! not good! so i want to temper expectation & reassert that im Not a WH art blog - its just a hyperfixation / something i love rn. i draw what i enjoy & what i want in the moment.

What inspired you to make hi fi rush overdrive?
the short answer: catastrophic levels of hyperfixation and an equal amount of hubris. this comic is a cry for help /j
the long answer: i really freakin like this game and wanted to create something tangible to show my love for it.
hi-fi rush is one of those games that completely captivated me in a way that most other media doesn't. everything about it was absolutely charming from start to finish and it altered my way of viewing art in a way only one other series has done for me before (mob psycho 100, if anybody's curious). it singlehandedly pulled me out of art block and for the first time in a while, it inspired me to want to do more with my art than what i'd previously done.
i guess in a sense, i'd been wanting to challenge myself to make something bigger for a while, and HFR just kinda waltzed into my life at just the right time. the sequel potential for this game is absolutely INSANE and i really wanted to take a crack at my interpretation of a hypothetical "Hi-Fi Rush 2" while we all waited for the real thing to come along (that original motive's obviously dead in the water now, fuck microsoft etc. etc.)
at first, overdrive was just a lot of "lmao wouldn't it be funny if ___" discussion in discord with my friends, and for a while i was happy with just leaving it at that. but time went on and more and more things started falling into place and suddenly i'm sitting in front of my pc at 3 in the morning staring at a bunch of character design drafts and 80+ pages of script and counting. i kinda just blinked and it manifested into existence LMAO
needless to say it's been a really fun journey so far, i've grown so much as an artist in the past few months of working on this alone and i'm learning by leaps and bounds with basically every page i finish. this is my very first webcomic (and honestly comic in general, i've only ever done illustration up til now) and it's 1000% me biting off way more than i can probably chew, but i adore this game and this community and i want to continue doing my part to contribute to the fanbase and keep the love for HFR alive. the story that's taken form in my notes is honest to god one of my proudest works and i'm really excited to get it out there to share with yall :)
(also, blame @batgirlteeth for enabling me. the screenshots that started it all.)

psst. hey. do you ever worry that you’re writing characters ‘ooc’ in fanfiction? well guess what. you’re not. that’s just your au now.
“they would not say that” yes they would, my au version of this character would totally say that
“ummmm this character’s powers don’t work like that” but they do. in my au
“these characters would never canonically be dating” buddy oh boy i cannot wait to tell you what fanfiction writers have been doing since the advent of their craft!! anything goes in my au!!!
the medium is inherently transformative do whatever you want forever ok ly byye
