"Bradley," Jake called out. Though Jake could admit it was more like a yell, than not. But he didn't know how else to cut the other man off from his rambling. "Honey, I'm well aware you're a single father. And I'm well aware your daughter is your top priority." He smiles, small but bright as he reaches across the table to cover Bradley's hand with his own. "I just-" "Honey, I'd be more pissed, if you didn't put your little girl before me." "Oh," Bradley breathed, blinking once, twice, then breaking out into a large grin as he flipped his hand around to curl his fingers through Jake's.

Taking a breath, nostrils flaring, he felt his lips curl into a smirk as he smelled Bradley's arousal. "No, darlin', it appears I truly don't actually scare you."

"Bradshaw, as I live and breath." Snorting, Bradley turned to see Jake sauntering towards him, carrying two flutes of champagne. "Bradshaw, you look," he paused, letting his eyes roam along his husband's body. He doesn't bother to hide his desire as he takes him in, not like he would have had it been two weeks earlier. But it didn't matter now, not with their company's mergers going through smoothly and the fraternization clause being pointless considering they'd been married before their two companies merged into one. "Good," he rumbles at last, voice low and tinged with heat. Jake laughs, passing him one of the flutes before drawing him in for a quick kiss.

Steve’s no stranger to finding love, or something quick and dirty, when out on a call. But often once the other person realizes just how crazy and unpredictable his job and life really is, it usually fizzles out after just a few short weeks.

So when he meets cute—”Just me call Tony.”—when his station is called out to help in downtown LA, he doesn’t think much about it, especially because he knows it won’t last long. Even if by the end of the first week he wishes it would.

So imagine his surprise when they hit their six month mark and Tony seems to have no plans of going anywhere...

Stiles blinks as he drops the basket of blankets he'd been carrying into the spare bedroom as he stares at the five new plastic tote bins sitting neatly stacked along the wall near the closet and sighs. Tilting his head back out enough, he calls quietly, "Derek?" It's no more than a few moments before he feels his husband standing behind him, shift on his feet as he clears his throat. "I know I said I wouldn't buy anymore until I went through a few tote bags but... well." Snorting, Stiles bends enough to grab the basket again and moves towards the closet to put the spare blankets back in it until the next time they get visitors. "And I see you took advantage of the emissary trip I had to take to help Erica and Body out with their pack." "I have plans for it," Derek defend himself, though it was more of a weak one, then anything else. "I'm sure, sweetheart," Stiles teases, turning to give Derek a fond look as he puts the blankets up.

"Do you know what I saw when I first looked at her, at the mighty Titanic?" Jake asks as he settles to lean against the rail next to Bradley. "I saw my whole life play out as if I had already been made to live it. Saw myself parade about like a doll. A show pony meant to only be brought out to appease my father and wife's parents. Meant to have at least two children that I would have no true say in. Not their names not their lives or dreams. I could see it all, in a blink of an eye." "What do you see now?" Bradley asks, quietly after a moment of just staring out at the endless expansion of the ocean surrounding them. "I saw my escape, my death," he whispers quietly before turning to look and finding Bradley already staring at him with his dark eyes hooded. "Now I think I see a reason to run, to truly run, when we reach the docks." Pausing, he feels a flush crawl up his neck as he turns back to stare out at the calm surface of the water. "It's not up to you to save me, Bradley," he says after a moment. "But I am grateful you chose to do so. That you seem to want to do so even after everything my father and fiancé's father have tried to put you through." Bradley leans in closer, crowding further into Jake's space and murmurs softly, meant only for Jake's ears, as he says, "sweetheart, if you asked, I'd run away with you. You just need to ask me, Jake, and I'll do everything in my power to give it to you."

"You know, baby," Bradley starts as he passes Jake a towel to dry his hands, "I definitely didn't have a cowboy kink before I met you." Jake hums, eyes flicking to Bradley before focusing on hanging the towel back up on its hook before turning to lean back against the counter. "Oh?" Bradley nods as he moves in to crowd up against Jake, hands moving to grip the counter on either side of Jake's hips as he tilts his head down enough to press a trail of kisses against his scruff covered cheek before capturing Jake's lips in a soft, tender kiss. "Yeah, baby. Definitely didn't have a thing for the rugged, sweaty, hard working type before I met you." "Should I apologize for opening your eyes to how sexy I can be?" Jake asks, lips curled into a smug smile as he moves to wrap his arms around Bradley's shoulders. "Definitely. You should definitely apologize for using your wile's to make me fall in love with you," Bradley agrees brightly, eyes sparkling as he moves his hands down to grip the back of Jake's thighs to lift him up onto the counter. "You finished with your chores?" Laughing, Jake moves to hook his legs around Bradley's hips, drawing him in even closer to that they are pressed flush together. "Ol' Jerry told me to take the afternoon off since he knew you got in last night. Seems to think his boss could use a little time welcomin' his husband back from bein' outta town." "Remind me to buy Jerry something to say thank you."

Hangster, Famous AU: Pro Golfer Bradley x Actor Jake.

"Rumors have been swirl about a rather....torrid affair between yourself, Jake, and professional golfer, Bradley Bradshaw. Is there anything you'd like to say about the rumors?" Jake bites back the urge to sigh heavily as Javy asks the question he's been dreading to receive for his upcoming press tour for his latest movie. Instead he shoots his best, and oldest, friend a glare and thanks whatever deities that are looking down at him that at least he's been asked this while doing Javy's podcast and not on one of the many talk shows he's been booked to do for the next few weeks. Small mercies he guesses. He lets out a huffing laugh and says, "Well I'm sure some would love a little truth about an affair or so, to stir the pot as my Memaw would say, but truth his Javy, Bradshaw and I have been friends for a few years now, since he was hired as an instructor on one of my first major break out roles. The problem I believe stims from us both being out and proud queer men, who happen to be good friends for nearly a decade now. Besides, everyone know I ain't look to be settled down now and everyone knows Bradshaw's ridiculously devoted to his husband." Javy lets out a little laugh before swiftly moving on to his next question. ~~~~~~~ "Not lookin' to settle down now, baby?" Turning, Jake grins, big and bright as he sees Bradley leaning up against the doorway to the room Javy records in, wearing a pair of Jake's own sweats and his oversized hoodies, "Hey, darlin'." Shoving himself up and off the couch, he strides over, hands reaching out to cup Bradley's scruff covered cheek and tilts his head down to press a gentle kiss to his lips. "Why would I need to look to settle, when you already got me to do that nearly thirteen years ago, honey?" Bradley lets out a soft hum, kissing back once, twice and then again before drawing back to smile dopily at him. "That is a fantastic point, sweetheart." "And you are ridiculously devoted to your husband," Jake adds, lips some how stretching into a wider, brighter grin, "I should know, since I'm him."
