Taehyung's album Layover: success prediction

The nine of wands represents to me boundaries and limitations

Could be how this album might do, like the songs might only get to a certain position because it only reaches a certain audience.

It is like people kind of already making up their mind about this album before they get the full package.

It reminds me of someone that's going to a restaurant and are already making up their mind about what the restaurant or the main dish will be before they have had the full course.

I pulled the six of swords reversed for this card and I just don't see smooth sailing success.

The both of them together remind me of a message or an intention that does not hit the desired target. Maybe the album might not hit or reach a certain public that Tae wanted or was hoping to reach.

The five of pentacles gives the vibe of draught and lostness. The return on investment might not be as expected.

The three of cups though is a good sign of success, moments to celebrate about and support. The three of cups reminds me of a small business doing well and the owner with their two other employees supporting eachother, and celebrating the results of their hard work and team effort

I definitely see accomplishments. But they might be a little bit of a smaller scale.

The temperance tells me that the album will be well put together. Most people can agree that the songs are pleasant to listen too. The ace of wands brings a certain spice to the album though. I see a certain creative and innovative vibe to the album with this card.

The eight of pentacles that was pulled with the ace of wands, indicates an improvement plus the hard work of taehyung will be shown. This creative spice to the album will help him with elevation in his career. With this I mean certain accomplishments.

The three of wands reversed though, tells me that the growth or elevation might be contained.

I imagine a cup being filled in enough. This cup will hydrate you but if you want to quench a certain thirst or indulge yourself with more, there is not much more to receive. The cup is full enough but not overflowing.

US

The seven of cups feels like a lot of lovecalls will be offered to him to promote his album. I also see certain expectations on Taehyungs part on how well he would do in the US.  

The knight of pentacles reversed does indicate that the success of the album might not be stable enough to withstand certain positions. There is a vibe of uncertainty with both cards.

Even though Taehyung might have some expectations, I see him still being wary and in some sort of way not wanting to lie to himself with what he thinks the reality is (moon reversed + page of swords).

It's like thinking that you want to be realistic and prepare for a certain outcome but still having expectations. Though at the same time thinking of a negative outcome but is really not. It just won't be as great as you might be silently hoping.

The nine of pentacles reversed tells me that he might not feel comfortable promoting in the US. There is also a lack of confidence, freedom and independence in his career. (The hanged man reversed reminds me of an incovenience and the five of cups is disappointment)

The two of cups together with the ten of cups indicates that the reason he could push through the uncomfortableness is to connect with army. He will enjoy his time with fans.

The eight of pentacles as the last card is a good sign. His album will elevate his career and I do see return on investment just not as he or others might hope or expect.

In general, I see growth and containt sucess.

I won't say any music show is harder than other because they really has different criteria, it's just that different idols with different strengh can find more chance in certain music show. My idol used to only win MuCore for several comebacks haha. I actually fame found JH and DY in different ways. JH: So handsome, why is he so perfect? DY: So cute and sincere, i wish the song to do well, i wish him to be happy.

It's good that the shows use different criteria, however, if a fandom can buy their way into getting a trophy with digitals, it is not the same as winning through YT score. Less core fans is needed, no?

Anyway. Different strategies work not only with music shows, but also promotions as well. It is hard to really compare success of a release, when there is no huge gaps in data. Not to mention, promotion can bring fruits with a delay, the way Neozone did (the numbers for Neozone were low, but attracted new fans, who then made Resonance and Sticker get big). Or like Doyoung is now receiving multiple lovecalls to sing more in different projects.

Hence, those solo stans who fight each other with 1st day sales or album sales act stupid. It is an easy trap to fall into though. So far, every neo soloist did well, so we can expect 2nd and 3d albums from them.
