ellyyyy i just realised this like in the final timeline baek inhyuk doesn't know sol as that weird girl who kept chasing around sunjae AND taesung , saying and doing all these things that never made sense. she's no more the weird girl who both his friends were losers for and obsessed with. if anything at all, in the final timeline it is sunjae who chases around sol and despite the envelope switch and sunjae getting embarrassed on live tv he didn't really think she was that strange for the resignation letter and even the manager thought that carrying the letter made sense. this time it was sunjae being the weird one first, chasing her around, doing crazy things just for her to accept him to work in the film and the extent he went to for her to notice him dfhbhduinrbyw so that's another win in this timeline ig?? in the past timeline sunjae was absolutely just as absurd but inhyuk had the impression of his friend letting the girl he likes decide his entire life so it's kinda a relief he doesn't have that sort of an impression in the final timeline. but i kinda wish taesung and inhyuk retained the memories esp the summer holidays :// i typed this out in haste so i hope you dont mind the grammatic errors

first of all so sorry this took me ages to reply to, secondly, you’re right!!

originally Inhyuk may have known Sun Jae had a crush on her, but it was more sad than anything. then in the resets, Sol does show up and start acting crazy but that activates the loserism in Sun Jae and he just gets worse with every change Sol makes 😭😭 Inhyuk having to watch Sun Jae and Taesung drunkenly be simps for Sol is so ajhhjjshshsh (also him yearly having to collect drunk Sun Jae who’s out crying for Sol somewhere (down bad crying at the gym))

until the final timeline where Sol is totally normal, totally chill, uninterested in Sun Jae (on the outside at least) and Sun Jae is simply. reaching new heights of loser daily (playground scene my beloved!!!). Inhyuk’s arc has to be the funniest arc in the whole show

it is sad that he (and Taesung) won’t remember all those fun times but on the other hand at least in the final timeline he got to throw rose petals for them again 🥹🥹 the chaotic bromance will never die

To me its crazy that there's not a Hanahaki Kevin fic out there. It doesn't even have to be about about a specific romantic relationship it could be gen (familial love Hanahaki hits different okay).

It's just that Kevin Day is repressing feelings the rest of the world didn't even know existed and I feel like we as a society don't appreciate that enough

i'm not usually a hanahaki fan but 1) you're right 2) i do believe there was a keremy hanahaki fic somewhere across the sea of time but i don't have anything to claim for it aside from a vague memory of reading it

BUT YEAH. honestly no one in the world would be a better (worse?) victim of hanahaki than this loser. he would never dare to express its existence unless it became an active hindrance in court. when asked who its about he would genuinely have no idea. do you know how infuriating it would be to ask someone who gave them hanahaki and hear that they DON'T KNOW? kevin. day. i'm going to drown you in the toilet.

it is a very good concept though!!!!!! he IS indeed repressing feelings the rest of the world didnt even know existed and i love love love situations where a character cant hide from their feelings because they become a external manifestation. yeah hanahaki is cliche and it might be easy angst but when done Right it can be a delicious homemade meal that reminds you of picking apples at papas orchard
