SHAMELESS CREATORS NETWORK JULY THEME: JOY

When I thought about how to draw some joy for @shamelesscreatorsnetwork this month I naturally thought of Ian growing his tomatoes and how I picture a morning up on the apartment's rooftop garden would look. Ian picking ripe tomatoes from his extremely fruitful tomato plant and Mickey next to him helping supervising (smoking and drinking a beer). And then when @gallacrafts announced Stargazer Lilies, Motherfucker as their theme for the month, I decided that Ian, being the soft motherfucker that he is, would 100% also grow stargazer lilies in his garden for his husband, who apparently likes that kind of flower? He doesn't really question it. They were surprised they couldn't find any blue stargazer lily bulbs, but Mickey thinks the classic pink ones are nice too.

Remember that stage of the pandemic where everyone and their dog had a sourdough starter? Well, I didn’t. I decided to learn how to do royal icing cookie decorating instead!

Since then not a single celebration has gone by without themed sugar cookies in our house, so when the @shamelesscreatorsnetwork announced their April theme, there was really only one way this was gonna go…

Happy @gallacrafts petals!!! 🌺🥰 Sooo I drew a cake our Gallavich boys had for their anniversary where Mickey gets his stargazer lilies & they reuse their wedding topper 😆 Also the tiers are the gay men's flag! What flavour do y'all think they'd choose for this cake? 😋

I forget they did that topper bc I'm so focused on other parts of the wedding, but delighted all the time when I remember it haha 💙❤️

It’s a small one, which was perfect because this is the first time I’ve attempted this. Used the below (children’s) coloring page to trace onto fabric. It was really fun to pick the thread colors - I love this color family 💙

Who made all this? 🎨All the crafts used in the shop came from the amazing artists who participated in May's theme, "Throwback Theme 2"/Gallacrafts Second Anniversary Project and were used in the shop with permission. How long will the store be up?⏰ Since this is going up a bit later than I wanted, the store will stay open at least through August so there's plenty of time to snag your crafts!

What kinds of products can I get?🎁 I tried to put each craft on a few different products and make them customizable as well but if you really really want something and can't create it let me know and I can try to add it.

What if I'm not in the US?📦Zazzle has international shipping so you should be able to get your gallacrafts delivered to just about every corner of the globe! Check out their shipping policy here for more info.

Are you making money off this?💸 We really wanted this to be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. So we're NOT trying to make any money off of these crafts. Zazzle doesn't have a 0% markup option anymore, but I did set all the crafts to their absolute minimum which is 5%. (article for transparency)

The money thing pt 2.💸 I have no idea how popular this will be or how much we might make from that little 5%. So the plan is, if it ends up being over $25 in earnings (the minimum to withdraw funds from Zazzle), I'll donate the proceeds on behalf of gallacrafts/ our little fandom to the Trevor Project or a similar non-profit

Gallacrafts - Stargazer lilies, Motherfucker! - Theme 23

My @gallacrafts for this month's theme is a wooden box I did some wood burning on.

For @gallacrafts I turned it into "Ian's memory box". Filled with memories of firsts that make him so happy and excited to be married to Mickey. Rosepetals from their wedding suit, string from the first time Mickey fixed a rip in his pants, shells from their first trip to the beach, tomato seeds, pretzels from their house warming party in their flat, stickers from Franny's first overnight stay, polaroids of the lilies on his balcony and Mickey in his bed, the bubbles they made when Freddy visited them, ...

And since I like to use my crafts and don't really need a memory box I decided to make a Mickey version of the box too... based on a super fun ff in which Mickey runs a secret DnD group with the people from the West Side and when Ian finds out he's very much into Mickey doing lots of quick maths.

Anyway... here's my Mickey's DnD dice box. Featuring pink felt and some Pride dice!

Well, this definitely makes the top ten list of ‘Most Ridiculous Baked Goods’ I’ve ever created.

I am please to introduce: The Stargazer Lily Cinnamon Roll 🎉 featuring hardened caramel dipped in melted chocolate as stamen and a lot of food dye lol.

I have two Stargazer Lilies in my garden, and they finally bloomed! And they're so very pretty! Obviously I've named them Ian and Mickey.

When I saw @look-i-love-u post a gorgeous wood burned box for @gallacrafts, I had to ask for a custom sign for my snake vivarium, which she readily agreed to make!

What I received was beyond my expectations, and now Ren has a sign for her queendom, and I get a dutch Snickers bar and spicy ginger (😉) chocolate.

Ian pushes the door open, enters the shop. It smells like roses and rain. “Pickup?” the man behind the counter asks and Ian nods. “Yeah, for Franny Gallagher.” It’s Franny’s homecoming. Her first one, freshman year. The man disappears to grab the boutonnière for her date. Ian looks around the store. Daisies. Peonies. Tulips. Lilies. Blue ones. Beautiful. He smiles. Thinks of Mickey. Walks over and runs his fingers over the petals. Mickey would like these, he thinks. Not thinks, knows. He picks one from the bunch, the biggest and most vibrant, and takes it to the counter to pay.
