he paints his nails a lot. mainly black, but sometimes he goes for a bit more colour. (red, blue, that's.. kind of it.) he's constantly redoing them because he chips off the nail polish absentmindedly or when he's bored.

he sleeps weird. he falls asleep on the couch and wakes up facedown in the bathtub. he's definitely one of those people who falls asleep and then wakes up on the other end of the bed or on the floor.

at first, he really doesn’t like talking about the accident. but it doesn’t take long for him to fall apart before you, trembling and crying as he vents. late in the night, you’ll soothe him, holding him close while he cries into the crook of your neck. 

johnathon’s still awkward, but he’s cockier. in spite of all the tragedy, he feels so powerful now. his initial appearance aside, johnny’s more confident now that he can literally control the entire multiverse. it makes him feel worthy of your love in a way that wasn’t present before he became the spot.  

he’ll say flirty things out loud that he wouldn’t dare tell you in the past, being more forward and upfront about his attraction towards you.

johnathon’s mischievous ass got the best powers to fuck around with. he’ll pop out of nowhere to scare the shit out of you and it sends him into a fit of giggles.

johnathon’s far more protective of you now. before the accident, he’d worry about you, but trusted that you were strong enough to fend for yourself. now? anything’s possible. it doesn’t matter if he trusts you when doesn’t trust anyone else. he likes knowing where you are and when you’ll be back home. he loathes the thought of anyone taking you away from him, especially spider-man. 

sometimes he’ll go out with you. nyc is dangerous so he’ll be by your side, looming in a horrible disguise with well-meaning intentions. he just wants to keep you safe.

he loves annoying you with his spot and hole puns. being with someone who accepts him really helped in regards to finding the good in his new powers.

as for kit/julian relationship, i share the same thoughts as u! i don't think julian hates him or anything extreme like that, but i definitely agree that (especially in tda) he's kinda indifferent to him. tbh when u are out there raising 4 kids, u really don't stop to think about another strange kid entering the household. baby had a lot on his plate, so we gotta give him the benefit of the doubt here :')

but i think julian does like kit despite their few interactions. like during the car scene in lm when kit tells julian that ty isn't weird, he's just autistic, i think julian starts to respect him in that moment. he sees that kit won't judge his brother. and honestly, i think he probably felt more at ease when he saw kit, ty and livvy hanging out because of it. i think julian sees how happy the kiddos are with kit around (especially the twins). i bet julian's thoughts are just "he's a good kid" (<- because he's a dad).

i think their relationship is kinda different in sobh. like the scene where kit assumes that jules doesn't want to see him bc he's "on ty's side" broke me in ways u cannot imagine. atp, i think julian knows that something (whatever it may be) went on between kitty and he realises that both of them had something special together, that ty was happier with kit around. i hc that in the back of his mind he's like "we gotta help fix this, i can see that kit is suffering just as much as ty is." i think he genuinely does want kit to be happy :(

so in general, i think they respect each other. like kit wants to do good, to show julian that he isn't a threat to the blackthorns, that he can be trusted. he knows that julian is super protective so he wants julian to trust him and i think he does. honestly, i think julian acknowledges and appreciates kit efforts and sees how easily he fits into the blackthorn's everyday lives. so, they might not interact much, but i think they still truly care about each other <3

Now that i have seen the official confirmation that the Pestos do NOT in fact, live above their restaurant, i had to recreate a more accurate rendition of what the Pesto kids' rooms would look like at each parent's house

Starting off strong with Jimmy Sr's bachelor pad:

I used to hc that as a full family unit the pestos lived above the restaurant, and that jimmy sr kept living there after the divorce (yes i have seen the episode where they actually show where he lives), and bc of that in the past I liked the idea that the boys still got to keep their old rooms

obviously not lmfao and because Jimmy is Jimmy, his bachelor pad only has two rooms

so the boys share!

but y'know it's not that big of a deal since the boys are only over every other weekend anyway

the condo came with the bunk bed

YES he washed the sheets before the twins started sleeping there

Jimmy sr is obsessed with J-ju's height and desperately wants him to go into basketball

obviously he doesn't want to but that doesn't discourage J-Sr from decking out the whole room with basketball paraphernalia

hence the basketball themed clock, carpet, and actual basketball sitting there

but like, it was fun for the first few weeks of summer

Laundry doesn't always get done

that pile of clothes has been there for two weeks

but the room doesn't smell so jimmy sr counts that as a win

No books on the bookshelf, jimmy doesn’t even have books in the rest of his condo

Okay so the Twins and Jimmy jr have their own rooms in their mom's quaint little house

and she's a little bit of a beige mom so everything's a little dull

but it's nicer than the alternative and tbh the boys don't really notice

For the walls she likes to go with variations of beige/pink

She bought the bunk bed and the sheets ofc

Andy is still sleeping on top and Ollie will forever remain that the bottom of the bed

Most of their toys are kept in a wicker basket in the "family room"

Because they honestly don't spend a lot of time in their room when they're home

They like to all hang out together with J-ju and mom

Jimmy jr doesn't always reciprocate

but when they are in their room they just love to draw

And mom was worried about them hurting their backs whenever they would draw on the floor

So she got them the craft table

and their own boxes of crayons

She's trying to encourage independence

(not that it's working though, one of those boxes us almost entirely unused and every picture the boys draw they draw together as a unit)

Bc of the divorce mama pesto just lets them get away with it

she’s worried they’re traumatized

the puppy and kitty string lights are also a christmas gift from mom

She really likes to keep things clean and neat and tidy so there’s lots of storage and lots of their stuff is stored in the storage

lastly Jimmy-J won the boys those crappy fruit carnival toys and the twins really hold on to them

bratubbles: starting w this one cus they're kinda the more « normal » pair (aka i don't ever think abt them so i don't have much to say, rip). they are,,, black cat/white bunny (barfs); brat being kitty, bubbles being bunny. not exactly "opposites attract" but also not entirely compatible. brat values her independence and borders avoidant tendencies (but also not really?) making her more passive in the relationship. kinda has a habit of making bubbles cry. bubbles is like her little pet. she loves her, but also has to resist the intrusive urge to grab her by the ears and swing her around. and bubbles is just,,, "i can fix her :pleading:" kind of gross bs

brutercup: my hcs for brutercup closely align with my friends @/saschy123 and @/gkt-tummyaches !! if u ever see their hcs, just know that i nod in agreement. brute is the epitome of toxic/abusive, dominating and anti-social, and bc eats it up cus she's a little guy and loves brute sm. sadist x masochist vibes both in kink and in general that's pretty much it asjkf

soft/bottom brute does not exist in brutercup pls- brute is just not a good person. 'soft' tendencies exhibited by brute are more for her own personal gain or power trip rather than for the sake of the relationship. bc is 100% aware of it but simply doesn't give a fuck because she knows what she signed up for.

blosserk: this one [grins evilly] my fave <3 (if that wasn't obvious jksdg) i like making this one suffer !!! esp berserk !! doomed yuri, complicated, yummy. they are terribleee at communication. berserk sucks at trying to convey what she feels correctly and blossom takes it as criticism, and will resort to stonewalling techniques in the right circumstances. both of them expect a lot of change from one another but both of them are too stubborn to put in the effort to change themselves, making them constantly in and out of the arguing phase. they always have problems !! on a more wholesome note, they have cute dates; picnics and shit *rolls eyes*

a different dynamic i have with blosserk is more unrequited. berserk crushes on blossom but the latter doesn't feel the same. i have/had a whole au surrounding this as a kid that's just a whole failed enemies-to-lovers arc where berserk tries to reconnect with blossom on more neutral terms but blossom is too arrogant and cannot look past her former reputation of being a villain. role-reversal; ends up being the one that gives berserk a hard time than the other way around. ex-lovers kind of feel. berserk is very self-destructive when i think abt this dynamic. i like this one better cus i play with it more + there's more angst potential 🥰

raana is both an age regressor & pet regressor! she's typically in the older toddler - younger kid range (roughly 4~6), but there's really no real rules with her. she just does whatever.

obviously, she's a kitten regressor. more specifically, she is mygo's little rescue stray cat! i think she'd identify pretty heavily with turkish angoras & khao manees bc white cats with heterochromia

she's pretty much always pet regressed when age regressed, but not always age regressed while pet regressed. if that makes any sense. sometimes she is just a little kitty terrorizing ring!

in addition, i think she's probably the member of mygo who regresses the most? out of everyone she has the least amount of weird feelings about her regression and she has the ability to just sort of drop whenever she feels like doing so.

she's distracted very easily in the sense that, if she sees something that grabs her attention, she will immediately switch activities to play with/do the thing that interests her more. she just sort of does her own thing, basically. she also sleeps a lot and uses her cute little kittycat eyes to get the others to give her sweets and other snacks

at the same time, if an activity holds her attention for a long period of time, she Will stick to it unless she's specifically pulled away from it. taki has definitely had to pull her away from playing with stray cats before

speaking of playing with stray cats... she absolutely loves doing so when she's regressed. i could also see her playing with those crinkly baby toys and little music toys. she also has bunch of kitty plushies that she rotates between carrying around with her everywhere

i could also see her as a chewer tbh... she absolutely tries to gnaw on tomori or anon when they play together. if given a pacifier it Has to be clipped to her shirt or she'll just let it fall out of her mouth onto the floor.

Previous anon. Honestly nothing made me happier than seeing natsume and mikan well and happy in the spin off manga, just together and happy. Ofc i do miss Hotaru and i hope she managed to get back to the gang bc they are just not complete without her.

I wanted to ask you: do you have any HCs regarding the quartet (yes including Hotaru being back) in their mundane day to day highschool time? How is studying for them, what do they all wanna be when thry graduste? Are any of them going to go to university? How fast are Natsume and Mikan going to be married? Anyone any kids? Maybe a dog or cats?

thanks for the ask <3 yeah my absolute favorite part of the spin off was seeing natsumikan as an official couple! theyre so cute <3 im incapable of thinking of a post-kageki universe where they dont reunite with hotaru.

tsubasa mentions around chapter 73 or 74 that the last couple years of the high school count as university credit but that some students choose to continue college to gain more knowledge. i feel like perhaps hotaru would be in that category. she is very lazy but i think she'd want to refine her skills. if not that, then i could see her easily taking off with a career right out of school since she already has an impressive following. her future is pretty solid.

ruka wants to be a vet and i'm not entirely sure how vet training would work in alice academy? it's a pretty lengthy process in the normal world--about 8 years (4 undergrad, 4 at vet school). if the last 2-3 years of alice academy hs are the equivalent of a typical 4 year university, then ruka would still have to continue the 4 years of vet school to get his credential. in any case, he's pretty passionate about it. he doesn't seem like he puts much effort into school while in elementary school, but i think he'd put his all into vet school because he'll be doing something he really loves.

i can see mikan pursuing a teaching job or maybe nursing--something where she can help people. it would HAVE to be a people-oriented occupation, where she interacts with lots of people and is more hands-on. in either case, she could probably start right away after graduation and since nepotism is real and she's close friends with most of the staff, she's a shoe-in for a teaching position for sure.

i can't imagine natsume having a job he's passionate about. i don't think natsume would ever be passionate about labor, no matter what it is. i've read all kinds of fics, where natsume goes on to be a spy or work in security or what have you, but to be honest i don't think natsume would EVER elect to be in a dangerous field after being a child soldier for so many years. idk cant he be mikan's stay at home husband? cant he have a break? if he must have a job, i'd hate it if he did anything dangerous; i much prefer to imagine him doing something calm and laid-back.

as for the marriage question.... i can see them getting married ASAP. like right away tbh. natsume has a terminal illness after all! but thats not fully relevant to me bc i cant imagine a future where natsume doesnt get "cured" in some way. i just cant. in any case they were 12 when they got engaged so they're the kind of couple that moves fast FOR SURE. they'd get married as soon as it becomes a possibility. i talk about the possibility of nm children here, too.

as for other characters...

idk really. i can see tsubasa and misaki for sure having kids. the other class b characters might have kids but probably not right away. i can see ruka for sure having pets always. maybe natsumikan get a kitty. that would be cute!
