Sometimes I think that, because of his stint in juvie, Duncan was so desperate for something that he’d take the first chick who would give him a second glance.

Beth, Eva, Katie, & Sadie were out because they are quote-unquote “unattractive”. Izzy was out because she’s insane. Lindsay, Gwen, & Bridgette were out because they immediately had eyes for Tyler, Trent, & Geoff.

That left Heather, who had told him to drop dead and was on the other team, and Courtney, who was a nag but on the same team.

I fully believe if Heather had given him the time of day, or if Gwen, Lindsay, & Bridgette weren’t interested in their at the time romantic partners, he never would’ve gotten with Courtney.

But it’s why he was able to form a true and genuine friendship with Gwen. He was already getting what he wanted from Courtney (romantic attention) so he was able to form that bond with Gwen without wanting to get in her pants getting in the way.

(It also helps that she was still romantically interested in Trent to add to that buffer)

Sometimes I forget Duncan is on the shorter side of all the guys. Not like too much that it’s very noticeable, but thinking about it in terms of ships (cuz I always go back to my multi-shipping it seems):

Aleduncan: Alejandro’s taller

Scuncan/Scottcan: Scott’s taller

Dunhar: Harold’s taller (but he is also one of the taller guys)

Duntrent: I’m pretty sure Trent is taller which would annoy Duncan but he’d just argue about Trent’s giant forehead

Doey/Dunzoey: they’re about the same height but it’s really close.

Duncney & Gwuncan: Duncan is taller than Gwen and Courtney so maybe that’s why I never noticed.

Dunnoah: Duncan is taller but Noah is supposed to be one of the shorter guys. Applies to Duncody as well.

Malcan/Mikecan: Even without the pointy hair Mike/Mal has the height advantage here. Which probably made juvie awkward.

Are they any other ships were this is apparent. I almost want to start an era of “Short King Duncan” but in the real world he is probably still in the average range.

Duncan

-He shaves his goatee every day into a little square, but sometimes forgets the rest of his beard

- He doesn’t listen to almost any music. He is more of the “ whatever’s on the radio “ type of guy, tho he really likes Kiss (as seen in his makeup on “camp castaways”) and other hard rock bands.

- He either loves or hates limp biskit (still not sure tho)

- He loves to find sightseeing spots for him(and obviously Gwen)

- He loves his mom, and he’s her favorite between his brothers.

- He is the youngest of four

- He became a punk(of course) to annoy his dad but ended up being a punk in spirit

- Obviously a pyro

- Shoplifts snacks for himself and Gwen

- Has been to juvie for many things, primarily getting caught after doing a graffiti or litting something on fire

- Wants to open a tattoo studio

Gwen

- She got introduced to the goth subculture by her grandmother on her mother’s side

- Has a really good relationship with her brother. He is her partner in crime for pranks in her house.

- Makes her clothes like any goth girl

- Has 4 pairs of the same platform shoes

- Works at a cafe to get money for her college tuition

- Spends most of her time drawing the landscapes, her lizards and Duncan

- Wants to study art history

- Listens to The cranberries- Siouxie and the Banshees, Hole, Kittie and Paramore.

- Hates people who think she is some type of different person who “will change their perception of life”

- Would love to have a bat

- She is always reposting Green peace ‘s tweets

Cue intense, heart-pounding theme music as the world collectively holds its breath.

Chris McLean: "Welcome, welcome, welcome, Total Drama fans from ALL across the globe!"

The cameras zoom out, revealing a worldwide audience tuning in—stadiums packed with fans, giant billboards flashing the Total Drama logo, and viral hashtags dominating social media. #TotalDramaFinale #WhoWillWin are trending worldwide.

"This… is the end of an era. The FINAL season of Total Drama! And trust me, we are going out with a BANG!"

The screen flashes to fast cuts of past winners, betrayals, jaw-dropping eliminations, and legendary showdowns. Heather’s scheming. Alejandro’s charm. Owen’s iconic victory. Gwen’s near-wins. Courtney’s lawsuits. Duncan’s bad-boy antics. Lindsay’s lovable chaos. And, of course, Sierra fangirling over Cody.

Chris (grinning smugly): "I have been your host through every single season, guiding you through drama, backstabbing, friendships, romance, and—let’s be real—some of the most insane challenges ever created on reality TV. And now, after all these years, I’m calling it… this is my LAST SEASON hosting Total Drama!"

Gasps. Shock. Cue dramatic close-ups of fans around the world, screaming NOOOO at their screens!

Chris (mockingly wiping a fake tear): "I know, I know. It’s emotional. But don’t worry, I’m not going out alone!"

The camera cuts to Chef Hatchet, standing with arms crossed, nodding like the veteran he is.

"That’s right! My main man Chef will be sticking with me ‘til the bitter end, making sure these contestants suffer—er, I mean, have the time of their lives!"

The crowd cheers as Duncan steps into the frame, flashing his signature smirk.

"And since we’re giving you the ULTIMATE All-Star season, we’re bringing in some extra hosts! You know him, you love him—Duncan, the original bad-boy punk rocker turned soft-hearted rebel… who may or may not still have unresolved drama with certain contestants."

Duncan rolls his eyes. “Yeah, yeah, whatever. I’m just here to make sure Chris doesn’t go soft on you losers.”

Then, the cameras shift to Gwen, the goth queen herself, standing next to Duncan with her arms crossed.

"And, of course, the girl who almost won Island, the one who DESTROYED every logical argument in Total Drama history, the ultimate sarcastic queen—Gwen!"

Gwen raises an eyebrow. “You act like I wanted to come back for this circus. But fine, whatever. If I get to roast people, I’m in.”

Chris claps his hands.

"And because Total Drama is a GLOBAL phenomenon, we’re not limiting ourselves to one island, or even two islands. Nope! We’re taking the BEST of every season, every location, and throwing it into one insane, unpredictable, absolutely chaotic All-Star season!"

The screen flashes through different landscapes—classic Camp Wawanakwa, the high-stakes Total Drama Action set, the intense World Tour destinations, and the ridiculous Ridonc-u-lous Race challenges.

Then—BOOM! Fireworks explode, and the camera zooms in on a brand-new Total Drama stadium.

Chris grins. "And you can’t have Total Drama without the AFTERMATH SHOW! Back by popular demand—your favorite post-show breakdown is here, with BRAND-NEW HOSTS!"

Heather struts into the frame, smirking.

"You all know me. You all fear me. And now? I get to judge EVERYONE from a safe distance while watching their suffering. Finally."

Beside her, Alejandro gives a charming smile.

"Ah, my dear audience. If you thought competing was thrilling, just wait until you see the inside scoop we uncover this season."

Jeff jumps in, high-fiving the crowd.

"Yo, dudes! You didn’t think I’d miss out on this, did you? I’m back to keep things fun and keep Heather from killing someone on live TV!"

And last but not least—SIERRA, the Ultimate Total Drama Fangirl herself, takes her seat at a massive table covered in conspiracy theories, fan predictions, and endless Cody memorabilia.

"OMG OMG OMG! This is gonna be the GREATEST SEASON EVER! I have charts! I have theories! I have spreadsheets! Who’s gonna betray who? Who’s gonna fall in love? Who’s gonna get totally humiliated?! EEEE!"

Chris claps his hands.

*"There you have it, folks! A cast of All-Star competitors. A panel of savage hosts. And an UNPREDICTABLE season full of backstabbing, romance, and the biggest showdown in Total Drama history! So sit tight, grab your popcorn, and get ready... because this is TOTAL! DRAMA! ALL-STARS!"

[Cue epic music. Cut to black. The screen flashes one final phrase:]

So, I basically came up with a prompt for how I wish a Total Drama All-Stars season would be. The actual All-Stars season was pretty terrible—it felt like the writers just did it because they had to, not because it was earned. Plus, the cast was mostly made up of original characters and a few from Revenge of the Island, which felt unbalanced.

If you're going to do an All-Stars season, you need more. You need a cast that truly represents the best of the best. This should be Chris's final hurrah—his big retirement moment. No more Total Drama, no spinoffs, no reboots—just one final, ultimate season that gives fans everything they’ve ever wanted.

I've seen fan-made versions of All-Stars, and they’re way better than what we actually got. The execution of the original season was weak. Mike’s "evil persona" twist? So cliché. The whole "Heroic Hamsters vs. Villainous Vultures" gimmick? Cheesy. When you think of All-Stars, you think of fan favorites, the best of the best, but that’s not what we got.

I won’t lie—there were some good moments in All-Stars, but they were few and far between. Looking at the season as a whole, especially compared to the rest of the franchise, it was full of retcons, inconsistencies, and questionable writing choices. It felt like the writers were just making things up as they went.

So, I'm making my own version of All-Stars because the one we got was honestly pathetic. If you liked the original All-Stars, that’s totally fine, but for me, it was a disappointment. This season could have been the best of the best—but instead, it was one of the worst.

(And no, I’m not even counting the reboot or the Total Drama kids’ show versions. I mean the actual competitive seasons—the ones that made us love this franchise in the first place. And All-Stars? It just didn’t live up to that.)
