Rhett & Link's Wonderhole

#okay so this is like my sum up of the whole season post #it's my tribute to wonderhole #this whole blog kinda is but ya know #I will probably make more gifs of the last ep but as this is the last ep of the season I thought I would do a gif round up #and making all these gifs kinda took it out of me #fun fact this is very close to the gif limit on here #it is a very long post but you know wonderhole deserves it #I have really enjoyed the season #from watching that first ep on my birthday til now #it has been a fun Saturday thing for me to watch in the morning and make gifs of for the rest of the day #I love that it all came back to the beginning with it all being what they filmed on the coconut while they were stranded on the island #I do love when stuff loops like that #Especially looping back to that beach scene which was the scene that made me make this blog #because it was so pretty I was like oh I need to make gifs and now here we are #my favourite ep is still the second one mainly because of the colours and future aesthetic it had #I think it was fun and it was fun to see them letting their creativity flow through the episodes #it kind of hits you with the comedy but it also makes you feel a lot of emotions which I have loved #so thanks wonderhole you have been a beautiful thing and I hope there will be more in the future ily #thanks to Rhett and Link for making this because I have loved it #it was a special thing #also shout out to everyone who has interacted with any of my posts on here I did not expect anyone to so thanks :))#these tags really just turned into me rambling so hi if you made it this far #rhett and link #rhett and link's wonderhole #rhett and link gifs #rhett mclaughlin #link neal #my gifs #wonderhole spoilers

Did some outfit sketches for Stacey cause my girl deserves some cute outfits for the summer!

(Read tags for more info if you’d like)

#the first outfit comes from my most recent nordegrim piece #the second one I made for a panel edit #so it’s the outfit I think she’d wear to the beach at the beginning of volume 4 if she went #I just added some pizzaz to it cause it was rather simple in the panel edit (that I’m not going to share)#the third outfit is based on that one bust drawing Bryan made for a Scott pilgrim website #that I believe you can find at the back of the colour edition for volume 4 #and the fourth I made on my own #I just wanted to put her in a chunky cardigan and wear a cute dress :]#I found a chunky cloud cardigan while looking at refs and I thought it was cute so I put her in it (added the buttons myself btw)#I’m not sure if it’s something she’d actually wear but shhhh it’s cute she’d wear it on like a casual date or something #if you want to draw her the ones I designed myself (3rd one doesn’t count cause I took a hypothetical stacey look and just completed it)#*draw her in (why must I forget ‘in’)#go on ahead cause id love to see them :]#idc if i made any mistakes this is just some sketches I decided to colour in #same pose for all of them too cause I’m lazy and also it’s just concept designs nothing fancy #gonna stop with the tags cause there are too many now and I’ve been talking too much her ok bye hope you like the outfits! :D #*here #scott pilgrim #scott pilgrim comic #scott pilgrim takes off #stacey pilgrim #HER <3333333 #<-#my new personal tag for Stacey cause um yeah HER

The man on the radio is in his gentle groove and Lionel is as easy as he's always been on a Sunday morning. Weatherwise we're looking at grey and damp with a hefty side order of grey and damp. Avoided the news, only so much grim I can take in a week. The traffic can take care of itself.

Today's groaner: a painter is hired to whitewash a church. Unfortunately he thins the paint too much and it washes away in the next downpour. The minister has words with the painter who says 'Well minister, what do you want me to do about it?' ... 'Repaint' says the minister 'and thin no more' ;-D badoom tish ... here all week!!

More stuff on the line that will eventually get dry. Probably had the blue towel for over 20 years. It's definitely gotten thinner, but it's still a favourite. It's been all manner of places and carries all kinds of memories. I look at new towels occasionally but I like bright colours and grey and white are favoured on the Emerald Isle, so I stick to what I've got. I smile each time I look at the cheery sun face on my towel and remember friends, different destinations and the sound of the sea.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday and the sunshine has finally made an appearance. Time to hop outside with my mug of coffee and enjoy it ... you just never know how long it'll stick around ...

244. The Beach House (2019)

#the beach house #the beach house (2019)#2023filmgifs #my gifs #i. LOVED. THAT #so totally my jam #ocean eco horror #so beautifully filmed #like really look at that lighting and colourgrading #so beautifully calibrated to be neither garish nor underwhelming #i haven't seen that in a recently made film for AGES #even in the darkest scenes there was enough lighting and colour #that i could see exactly what was going on #DO YOU KNOW WHAT SWEET RELIEF THAT IS #the only gif i really changed the colouring of #is the first #everything else is pretty much exactly how it appears in the film #and i really loved the blend of scientific footage #and unabashed ImageryTM #plus excellent female protagonist #she was clever and calm #and only got super emotional when it was actually warranted #and that ending was perfection #what a goddamned gift of a film #this is why i watch so much random horror #to find gems like this #also thanks to the Letterboxd reviews that led me to it #totally checking out what else Jeffrey A Brown has done #he is now on my list of Good Filmmakers
